Date of Scene: 28 August 2020
Location: James' Room (North Halls), Xavier's School
Synopsis: Jimmy and Terry have a chat about the extra curricular activities of some of the students.
Cast of Characters: Warpath, Siryn

Warpath has posed:
Even though it is his room, he's surrendered it to you for the time being and so when he arrives at the door he knocks and waits for you to answer or see if you are not even here currently. Two books hang loosely in his free hand, so apparently he's got work to do tonight.

Siryn has posed:
Tonight she was moving to her own room, but she wanted to speak to him, mostly thanking him for his hospitality. And talk to him about 'the girls'.

"Ah, there you are. I was going to search for you. After all, I was beginning to be worried, after all, you had a girl in your quarters." She winked. "Come on in. They are your room once again. They gave my own rooms today."

Warpath has posed:
He walks into the room and nods,"I thought they would find you a room soon enough." he admits,"Hopefully you'll stick around and use it a while." He looks around the room and stage whispers,"The scandalous part was I'll bet she was naked in here at least once too." He's a little more relaxed than days past.

"You seem to be doing better. Feeling better. Everyone getting used to each other?" he asks. New people since he's been there so he knows there are several new ones for you,"What are you going to be teaching if you stay?"

Siryn has posed:
"Really? Gasp. Lands alive, what will they ever think about you?" Terry laughs. "I'll have you know, the only room I undressed in was the bathroom!" She still felt different about changing in anyone's room, especially him. She didn't know *why*, but something made her embarrassed? No, not that. But close.

"I've got a job out of here, but I think Art History. The other is temporary? Art historian at a small museum, going between them and an auction house. It's a start?"

Warpath has posed:
"It sounds like you will be busy for sure." he replies and walks over to take a seat on one of his chairs,"Any excitement since you got home? I'm sorry I've been so busy the last few days. I meant to be here to make sure you get settled good."

Siryn has posed:
"Sure you did, and I've some land over in Ireland that I would be glad to get rid of for a wee little purse. Honest to god." Terri winks, and just as quickly goes solemn. "It's been different. Actually, I meant to talk with you. About Shannon." And Megan. Oi.

Warpath has posed:
He laughs softly as she teases at him,"Well you know. I figured if I passed you off on others." he muses,"What sort of trouble found my baby sister this time?" he asks seriously though,"I swear that girl is worse than a magnet for it."

Siryn has posed:
His 'baby' sister. That clears up one thing..

"She took me out, as her chaperone." Oh uh, she used the word 'chaperone'. That couldn't be good. "Would you care to guess what we ran into?"

Warpath has posed:
"Last time I chapperoned her, it seems to me like there was a museum and then some people trying to steal from there while we were present." he tells you,"So honestly I can only imagine what you two found yourself in the midst of." She would know he doesn't put the sister label on anyone easily...ever.

Siryn has posed:
"Three. Megan joined us." It becomes more interesting. "We met a gentleman, and I use the term loosely, who just came down, in an uncontrolled freefall from outer space. Oh, did I forget, he had company. Oh yes he did. And she was actually contemplating going to his ship, to make certain he didn't hurt her friend. On. His. Ship. Did you happen to check your baby sister for brain damage?"

Warpath has posed:
He listens to you and raises a brow as the story unfolds. A shake of his head and he sighs softly,"She's more heart than good sense sometimes." he admits softly,"She places the safety of everyone in the world before herself. She's going to drive me to an early grave I think."

Siryn has posed:
"Good thing her friend was adamant. Megan made a teleport to Avalon. Oi, my head nearly exploded. To his spaceship. And this wasn't a 'friend'. Have you ever made an acquaintance of someone or something mechanical?"

Warpath has posed:
There is a shake of his head and he sighs,"I can't say that I have ever made friendly with anything mechanical." he admits,"I'm not huge on things that are less than natural in life. I can't say I love that they were willing to jump blindly in either."

Siryn has posed:
"No. They're not. I'm concerned. I want to check it out." Terri mutters under her breath. "How did she meet him originally. And the other one said he has brought them to the earth. He was huge, and presumably the others all are the same."

Warpath has posed:
He raises a brow as he listens to you,"Sounds like there is something to look into yes." he comments softly,"It also sounds like I need to sit down with Shannon and Megan. Aliens are a bit much. Granted the X-Men have had their hands in that more than once. I wonder what species this one is."

Siryn has posed:
"uh-hrm. What about me?" Terri quirks a brows, and rustles her hands on her hips. "Or am I not included, hrm."

Warpath has posed:
There is a smirk and he replies,"Actually. I was hoping you might talk to them since they are more likely to open up to you than the big, scowly teacher. You're a little more relateable even if Shannon I are close.

Siryn has posed:
"Ugh." Fooled again. "You are sneaky. At least I wanted to know more about it." Terri frowned. "They really are a handful, aren't they. I don't know if they would trust me."

Warpath has posed:
"One must take advantage of what he can." he teases mildly,"The joys of being a teacher again. You have to get to know the students and unlike the growly social studies teacher you can choose to make nice."

There is a nod and he adds,"They are a handful for sure. I don't see them much outside of class, Shannon a little more than the rest, but you get the idea. Trust is...well it is possible, but it isn't easy."

Siryn has posed:
"I guess I'll put on my big girl shoes. But really, you? Grumbly?" That was something she would not have guessed of Warpath. "Older, yes. Grumpy, no. Let me guess, you're doing it because I wouldn't probably have the guts to do it otherwise."

Warpath has posed:
"After my tribe was killed off I lost my usual demeanor." he comments softly,"Not to mention I only really warmed up to you and scant few others anyway." He crosses his arms and sighs deeply,"Most of these kids hated the idea of History and Social Studies class so you have to get their attention."

Siryn has posed:
Terri smiles. "Somehow I am not certain that you are cranky as you say. But I wonder, how come you put up with me? I can't imagine I was easy to crack the shell and slip inside."

Warpath has posed:
He snorts softly and shrugs,"Somedays are better than others." Of course he's teasing. With you that much is easy enough. There aren't too many that can be said about that. Three that you know of,"Cracking your shell was about like trying to shatter the bones in the Wolverine."

Siryn has posed:
Terri rubs her elbows, and laughs. "Believe me, it was almost breaking my bones! I almost didn't let you in. In fact, I really don't remember what you said that shifted the weight from keep away, to my best friend."

Warpath has posed:
There is a shrug and he admits,"Well if it was anything too ground breaking it was an accident." He smirks a bit,"I am glad you did let me in though. It was a lonely time for both of us, even if neither of us was willing to admit it."
