Cast of Characters: Catwoman, Ivory

Catwoman has posed:
It's early evening, and an early autumn chill is starting to creep over the dingiest part of Gotham. Most smart people don't linger in the streets after dark, save for the homeless and gangsters, and even then they travel in groups, falling into familiar herding instinct habits.

However there is something else out here tonight, something that lurks in the shadows, following an old homeless man as he scrounges in the garbage of a nearby alley for bottles or food or blankets. It moves silently until it's right on top of him. A screech of fear, followed by crashing of metal cans is heard as he scrambles to flee..

Ivory has posed:
Just a corner away, Ivory takes a walk. Not as a human like everyone, because they never are like everyone. No, they went a step further, putting out their fluffy cat ears. Those swivel to the sound of cans getting crushed, the head following quickly after, then the eyes try to focus into the dark. What, who?! Was it a danger to them or just the random gotham violence?! They shouldn't have come to the dark city, but they had promised to help the charity, and that meant to come...

Catwoman has posed:
The homeless man runs past the catlike person and doesn't even give Ivory or those cat ears a second glance. He's that scared. From the shadows of the alley, a soft mewling can be heard, the shadow of a cat paw reaching out towards Ivory. Was it just a trick of the shadow that makes the catlike figure look huge and menacing when the voice sounds so sweet and innocent? Ccould it be merely a stray cat seeking a home?

Ivory has posed:
Ivory blinks, knowing a few things about cats that others don't. No, they don't per se communicate with cats, but they know how cats of different sizes sound. Because they had been a cat just as long as a human. But then again, they are careful. Eying into the dark alley, the steps towards the sound are slow, and they stretch out one of the hands low, announcing the own presence, giving a chance for the feline to learn who is there. but how large would that cat be? They didn't exactly have an idea.

Catwoman has posed:
Odd, the alley seems pretty empty, until a black cat, big for a cat, almost like a bobcat but that wouldn't be right here in town right? Anyhoo there it is, the same cat from the auction the other night. When it notices ivory, it mewls innocently, stepping out of the darkness and peering at Ivory.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory smiles a little as they kneel, stretching the hand out towards the mewling cat. Careful, offering it more time to learn the smell. Not that it really answers. "You again, hmmm?"

Catwoman has posed:
Perhaps the cat recognizes her as well as it mewls softly, padding closer to her and reaching out to sniff her hand. "Mew..?" it rubs up against Ivory's leg and purrs. Somewhere nearby p, flies buzz busily around something. Odd, what's that strange smell?

Ivory has posed:
Ivory ruffles the cat's head a little, between the ears, then under the chin, snaking a hand under the belly to try to pick the large cat up. It's not like they *own* them, nobody owns a cat. More an offer to carry them along a little. But the smell does warrent investigation. A careful one.

Catwoman has posed:
The big cat purrs and leans into Ivory's hand as they pick it up. As Ivory peers at the spot behind a trash can, they may notice the stench of blood and dirty clothes. Looks like a human arm sticking out from behind a pile of trash. The cat suddenly hisses.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory swallows at the sight of the arm, stepping backwards twice quickly, one hand searching for their cellphone, the cat still on the arm. Someone...

Catwoman has posed:
"Step away from the cat, it's evil!" calls out a familiar voice, and a moment later, Catwoman steps into the alleyway. The cat hisses and snarls at Catwoman, one who is usual,y pretty good wuth cats. How..Odd.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory eyes the woman stepping into the alleyway in the catsuit, the blues wandering up and down along her as they change the grip on the cat, from the easy cradle to one that more secures it in place, a pair of fingers around the neck. "Who are you??" they ask, hoping not to get scratched up by the cat for altering the way it was held.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman frowns, eyes narrowed on the black bobcat in Ivory'a arms, "They call me Catwoman, unstoppable cat burglar and friend to all felines...Save that one." she glowers at the bobcat and pulls out her whip. "Don't trust that fiend, it's no ordinary cat!" and she looks poised to attack the cat who peers up at her wuth seemingly innocent eyes.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory rearranges the hold on the bobcat-sized cat, using the second hand to grab the scruff. "You mean..." Then the arm that had supported the belly of the cat drops away, letting the black one hang from the scruff for all he cuteness points. "The cat killed that one around the corner?"

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman glances over Ivory'a shoulder and blinks slowly. "Wow..There's a body too? And here I thought that seemingly innocent cat was just into thievery.." although there's still something missing here, something more to it. She subconsciously rubs her arm, where the cat had scratched her and left scars that night.

The cat snarls and kicks its feet. Suddenly it grows bigger, stronger, heavier and kicks itself free of Ivory's grasp. When it lands, it's suddenly grown to the size of a massive black panther, teeth bared and snarling.

Ivory has posed:
The sudden extra weight comes by surprise, prompting Ivory to drop the cat as they step back, the thing growing. That was most certainly not great! But the cat was pretty much pinning them into the alley... BAD situation. Big cat, dangerous cat, angry woman, and a corpse behind? No way to flee... And the human ivory hisses in return at the panther.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman narrows her eyes in the panther, "Get behind me.." and she steps around the panther, reaching out to pull Ivory behind her. Assuming Ivory complies, Catwoman pulls out a smoke bomb and hurls it at the snarling panther. "Run!" she yells and gently pushes Ivory towards the opening to the alley.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory repeats the hissing sound to the panther, even as the Catwoman tries to push them out of the street. Their fingers bend, seem to elongate a little, the canines push out. An angry cat trying to intimidate a larger one. The white ears? Folded back against the head. But then... there's a gap. Fight or flight?! Flight against that panther!

Ifory spins around, darting for the exit of the small alley, but the panther jumps for them, right over Catwoman. For a few moments it seems to float in the air above, then slams down right behind Ivory, biting after their behind. Luckily, they manage just to escape the bite, but spin around to try to slash for the nose of the beast, fingernails acting almost like claws. Though not really claws.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman frowns, having got them out of the alley but the panther follows. As Ivory slashes at its nose, it snarls, barely feeling it more than annoyance as it attempts to leap back at Ivory, deadly claws slashing at them. Fortunately Catwoman manages to snag one of its legs wuth her whip, pulling the panther back, or trying to, its pretty strong and large, "Go!" she calls to Ivory although she's not sure she can fight this powerful creature alone.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory flails with the hand at the beast once more before trying to run further, fiddling with the phone they pull out of the pocket fully this time. An attempt to call aide, but then again, this is Gotham. Where police response times are long. The only city where Castle Rock v Gonzales, Lozito v NYC and Warren v DC was enshrined as the biggest part of the police it seems.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman frowns, knowing this panther can easily out run them even as she runs alongside Ivory. "Here, take my hand..Trust me. It's the only way!" and if Ivory takes her hand, Catwoman will fling her whip at the top of a nearby building, snagging the end of it to a railing at the top of a balcony, and will pull them both upwards onto a rooftop.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory doesn't seem too inclined to grab the hand at first, dashing along with Catwoman for some seconds before they seem to relent, takign the hand and following the swing up. However, they do land much more raceflly than a notmal human, thanks to the feline dexterity.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman lands lightly on the rooftop, watching as the panther paces around below and finally gives up, leaving. "Phew, are you alright?" she peers over at Ivory, concerned.
