Night out with a Cat.
Date of Scene: 18 September 2020
Location: Central Heights, Old Gotham
Synopsis: Selina takes Spike out to an exclusive night club. Things develop quickly between them.
Cast of Characters: Catwoman, Spike

Catwoman has posed:
It's early evening, that odd twilight time when the sky is painted a pale purplish pink and people are hurrying home for the evening before darkness settles in. In Gotham, people don't usually hang out alone at night, at least not in the seedier places, but the Iceburg lounge is often busy and popular amongst both heroes and villains.

Which is one reason why Catwoman had texted Spike to come meet her in the snow and penguin themed night club. They were both stressed lately and she figured it would be a nice way to relax and chill out.

Live music is playing and there are lots of people dressed up in costume, milling about, dancing, laughing. It shouldn't be too hard for Spike to find the kitty, she said she'd be on the dance floor..

Spike has posed:

He walks into the lounge, cigarette dangling at the left corner of his mouth. He takes a drag and exhales slowly as he uses the momentary pause as a chance to look the place over. A slow rise of his right eyebrow as he takes it all in,"Get a load of this place." he muses softly.

Shaking his head in amusement takes the cigarette from his mouth and stubs it out and throws it away. His eyes find the kitty dancing and makes his way through the crowd towards her.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman is in a different catsuit tonight, with a glittery domino mask over her eyes instead of the functional goggles, fancy sequins and lace covering her skintight satiny black catsuit and her short black hair is visible beneath a simpler cat ears headband. How she manages to dance in those heels is anyone's guess.

She grins and beckons Spike over, looking to be in the thick of things and having a great time. "Hey! Glad you could make it, how'be you been?"

Spike has posed:
He continues towards you, not shy about taking your measure as he does. His eyebrows raise a little together this time, clearly impressed by the picture before him. He passes between people with practiced ease and once he's closer he replies,"Not bad. How are you?"

He looks a round those dancing a little bit and he does sway a little to the music, but Spike isn't really known for his dancing prowess. He looks back to you, mostly looking away so as not to stare. He leans forward a little and says,"I can see you know how to dance to this, but I'm not sure I do."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman chuckles at him, eyes sparkling, "Come on...You're not shy now are you? Hmm?" her tone is light, playful. It's been a while since she got to relax and she's not about to let him skulk in a corner like a party pooper. "Here, I'll show you, it's not so hard! I'll bet you're more talented than you let on!"

She's not at all shy about his rising eye and quite enjoys the attention as she offers him her hand and if taken, will pull him near.

Spike has posed:
He looks her over once more, curious about what she has in mind. Finally he nods and takes the hand she offers,"I've been called many things love. It's been..." he pauses a second until closer,"...decades since anyone thought me shy. Over a century even." He lets her lead for the time being, curious to see what she has to show him.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smirks, drawing him near, repositioning his right hand to rest on her hip, clasping his other hand and holding it at face level. "Mmmmm, is that so? Annd when's the last time you got to go on a date with a sexy woman, without fear of judgement?" she practically purrs as she gives him the once over herself. She hasn't seen him beneath that billowy duster before and clearly she likes what she sees.

"I figure all work and no play makes for two dull kitties, hmm?" she grins and winks, clearly enjoying this as she slowly, smoothly guides them along the dance floor. At least it's a simple step, just a sway to the right and left.

Spike has posed:
Once the dancing starts he moves gracefully enough. Maybe he was putting her on and maybe he's a good student. He considers her question as the two move together and he replies,"Not since Dru and that's been a few years." he admits. Maybe he doesn't like mentioning Harmony too much. We all have that one skeleton in the proverbial closet. He mutters softly,"We wouldn't want dull kitties would we?" A smile returns to his face with the wink and grin.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman had afterall, agreed to go on a hunt for a panther demon next time they met. But hey, isn't this way more fun? She chuckles as she moves and bobs and twirls and dips, keeping in rhythm with the music. "Well you were clearly lying, cuz you're as graceful on the dance floor as I suspected. Or maybe you just enjoy getting extra attention from a sexy kitty, mmm?"

She continues to tease him as they dance, rather enjoying trying to figure him out it seems. Hey she's a curious cat Afterall. Ah yes, skeletons, she has many of her own. "So...Tell me more about yourself. You were a shy awkward poet before this Drusilla vamp met you, right? I wonder what you were like then? Sweet and sensitive?"

Spike has posed:
"I lived a long time love. A time when dance was the only sort of entertainment." he replies softly and continues to dance, getting better with each step,"You can't blame a bloke for wanting a little special attention from the sexy kitty now can you?"

"I was painfully shy and beyond awkward yes." he admits and twirls you lightly, bringing you back again because he doesn't want you too far for too long,"I was a prattling git that was full of romantic notions and not a single lady to listen. Barely noticed by the world at large. Doomed to die alone."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman chuckles as she twirls, still keen on learning more of this mysterious rogue. "Well aren't you wicked. But then what doe that say about me? An orphaned street girl who learned to be tough and streetwise, and then struck it big somehow..As the most infamous cat burglar in Gotham?" she winks, "I'm sure you have sooo many questions for me..Dont you?"

Still, Catwoman is eager to learn more of Spike's history too. "Okaay, so you were a shy awkward romantic who was the butt of KO jokes..Yet somehow you rose above it all and became a dashing, confident rogue. And all because you were turned into a vampire? how does that work exactly?"

Spike has posed:
It's always good to leave them wanting more, but Spike indugles her a little more,"Of course I have questions, but I'm patient...sometimes." he teases lightly. The dance continues he hmms softly,"How did I become the confident rogue or how does one become a vampire?" he asks for clarification purposes really,"Yes, becoming a vampire did change things for me." he adds.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman shrugs, "Both I suppose...I mean, how do you become a vampire? Is it true that you're technically dead? How does that work, and how did it..Change your personality? I want to know everything about you!" she smiles, giving his hand a squeeze. "I mean, you seem so..,So alive, so human. How could you be a demon or evil?"

Spike has posed:
Moving the hand clasped in his, he lets go and places her hand against his chest there there is no pulse at all. The dance continues and once she's had a chance to register no pulse he takes her hand again to dance furthur,"The basic to becoming a vampire is pretty common knowledge if you know where to look. Basically the vampire drinks almost all the blood and then gives the victim their blood. The new vampire rises and a new life begins."

He laughs softly and nods,"I really am life like aren't I? As for the demon part and evil part...when the last demon living openly on this Earth was being cast out, he mixed his blood with a human and his soul took the place of that of the human. Inside where you soul resides, alluring a thought as that is, a vampire has the soul of a demon inside them. Mine's just been in there so long the old me gets past it more than not."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman blinks as he rests her hand on his chest. Of course it not beating..Why did she even think, just for a moment, that he could actually be human..How foolish of her. "geez, you're like like an animated corpse..But prettier, I guess.." she chuckles a bit nervously, trying to cover it up with her laughter. Would he do that to her one day if his chip malfunctioned? Would she actually let him?

"Sooo, that's a bit creepy." Catwoman can't help but shiver, did it suddenly get colder in here? "But do you regret it? Is there any humanity left in you? I mean...You don't seem like an evil, soulless demon. You seem...Nice and friendly and.." she reddens a bit at private thoughts and smirks. "Sorry, sorry, this is my first time meeting a vampire, a friendly one at that, whom I actually enjoy spending time wuth. Is that crazy or what."

Spike has posed:
He notes the discomfort, but probably it's something he's seen before. Regardless, he lets her have that moment without commenting,"Have to be pretty love. It's the only way a dead bloke can get through the nights." He smiles a little and twirls you again.

"It's creepy yes. As one of my more astute colleagues once said. Basically we just suck." he teases lightly,"I am glad to be this yes. Otherwise I would have been long since gone from an exciting and intersting world." He smirks a little again and eases closer,"I'm friend when I want, less so at other times. As for enjoying the time, I gotta admit, I'm enjoying you too."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman sighs. "I wonder, if you ever forget how you look. I mean..You have no reflection right? Must be a pain." she shrugs, "Although in other ways, it must be nice, knowing you can never die, being strong and tough.." she grins, leaning in a little, "I can understand that, I am careful about who I choose to trust. You never know who's gonna betray you.."

She just laughs at his admission, reaching up to brush a hand lightly over his hair if he'll allow her, although her gaze briefly darts to a spot behind him, eyes narrowed a bit. "Aell that's good, because the evening's about yo get a lot more...Interesting.." she purrs again, lambing it on thick, trying to relax, and Catsy is not usually so anxious but..."Quick, dip me!"

Spike has posed:

"Apparently if I really want to know what I look like, all I have to do is look at that prancing image theif Billy Idol." he replies lightly and shrugs,"It is possible to be photographed, despite what the legends say, but really. I know if I look good or not by the way people look at me." he admits. A smirk when she touches his hair.

There was something in those eyes that says he was about to do something, but when she mentions things getting interesting his mind moves from that line of thinking to something more akin to combat wary. If she is uneasy that's going to make him more on edge. She requests the dip and a dip she gets. If someone takes advantage of the two of them in this position...bad things could happen.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smiles and seems to be enjoying this little cat and mouse game, dipping her head back, arm stretched out as some shady folks wander by, glancing briefly in her direction. When they disappear briefly, she pulls back up, then twirls around him and draws him in close, a mere hairs breadth from his face as they draw near again. She freezes there fir a few moments, staring in to his eyes, barely breathing, before letting go, heart pounding.

"Phew, I really do have terrible timing, but I'm not about to let some thugs who have a vendetta against me spoil my evening...Come on, lets grab some drinks upstairs!"

And with another impish twinkle in her eye, she grabs his hand and leads him, a bit hurriedly, up the steps, taking them two at a time to get away from the two thugs.

Spike has posed:
The up close moment between them causes his eyes to search hers for a long moment. He head turns to the right just a little as he considers what the two of them just missed. Of course the temptation would be to hunt down the ones that could cause her issue, but what's he going to do, stare at them to death?

"A drink sounds good." he agrees and follows after her as she leads him up the stairs. Curiosity always gets the better of him, a little hint of cat in him it would seem. He does casually glance back once to make sure nobody gets a mind to be shadowing them.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman seems to be enjoying this, even if there is just a hint of danger involved...Nit that she can't take care of herself but there must be a reason these thugs make her so anxious. All the same..

The upstairs is quieter, smaller. The music is softer, slower, more a romantic ballad than upbeat dance music. There's a bar at one end and a smaller dance floor. She leads him to the bar and orders a couple of strong dry whites. Cuz why not?

"Sooo tell me..Can a vampire get drunk? And if so, what are you like when you're totally wasted?" she winks impishly.

Spike has posed:
Since things seems to settle down upstairs, he eases up some. A little danger is always good, but she seems to be keeping company with danger more than usual of late. Regardless, he takes a seat at the bar with her and he chuckles at her question.

"I can get drunk, but in a place like this....it would get expensive." he suggests,"As for what I'm like when I'm drunk? I hear I am more obnoxious than usual and I have a bad tendency to do that one thing that makes everyone far more uncomfortable. In veno veritas."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smiles, tilting her head to watch him curiously as he describes his behavior when drunk. "Hmmmm is that so? But I'm still curious to see with my own eyes. I suppose that means it takes you a while to get drunk. I can hold my own pretty well too, but maybe that's a good thing, hmm?." she grins, taking a brief sip of her wine before lifting her glass to his, "How about a toast? To new friendships?"

Spike has posed:
He takes the drink in hand and considers it a moment. Alcohol is a good thing for sure. He smirks and raises the glass towards the one offered to him,"New friendships." he agrees and touches her glass with his. Swirling the drink a little he tells you,"Probably you don't want to see me get truly pissed in public though. Like I said, I drink and I speak my mind. I don't fight as much obviously. There isn't enough alcohol to deaden that pain."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman nods, frowning a bit. "That's really gotta bite, but...It's only against humans you can't fight right? You can still attack demons right?" she sighs, taking a long sip in silence for a few moments, thinking. "You know, I know someone, a genius, rich, powerful too. He'd probably have the know-how to remove that chip without damaging your brain if he wanted to.."

She sighs, wondering if it's a bad idea but.."We'll, this guy, I could probably pay him off or heck, if he learns of your capabilities, he might request a job if two from you in a payment, but it's a possibility. If you're interested in pursuing that avenue, I mean..?" it's a gamble, removing the chip could mean he might turn on her, but maybe she's a fool..,Either way, Catwoman has decided to trust him.

Spike has posed:
"Anything but a human." he replies,"A human causes a splitting headache that makes a migraine look like nothing. Electric shock." he explains. There is a pause though as you mention the rich genius. He takes a drink of his own and pauses, giving thought to the idea of the chip being removed,"Rich and powerful and with a doctor's mind. Sounds interesting."

He meets her gaze for a long moment and nods,"I'm not against working a bit to take down a debt. You trust this bloke? I am getting warm to the idea of trusting you, but that sort of operation leaves me open for someone to either do something else to it or drive a sharp wooden thing through my chest."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman nods and sighs, taking another long sip. "To be honest, I'm not yet sure if I can trust him..I know he offers jobs to a lot of villains. He pays well and always keeps his word. But I'm not sure just how far his loyalty goes, or what he's capable of. If you like, I can ask what he might ask of you in return, and gather more info on him.."

She shrugs, "Thing is, I'm not big on world domination, or unnecessary killing or wanton destruction. I steal for a living, because it's the only way I know. Heck, I take from the rich and give to the poor. I'm not your typical villain..Question is, how far are you willing to go to get that chip out if your head, and what will you do with your life once you do - IF you find a way to do so?"

Spike has posed:
"Money is good. It is hard to get blood without it." he agrees with a nod,"Usually butchers let it go for cheap, but sometimes I can get the real thing from a blood bank. That costs." A drink and he adds,"If you want to ask him sure. I appreciate it."

"World domination doesn't do much for me either really. I never was the big picture guy in that way. I like Manchester United, good bourbon, a good shag, and people. Whether I can feed from them or not I like watching and interacting with people. Don't repeat that last part." See a little trust there,"I don't mind robbery, working as muscle, and I've killed before." That takes a moment and she can see his thoughts roll back to something,"Some of the most dangerous humans on the planet and the deadliest demons as well."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smiles and nods, "Very well, I'll see of he can help. He always had an eye for talent. I'll put in a good word for you." she finishes the rest of her drink, smile fading a bit at the ' killing part ', "Well, I hope you only kill evil people..And demons, right?" she smiles and nods.

"Money is always good, I'm always happy to take you on as a partner in crime too, always good to have a skilled fighter to watch your back." the chip thing makes that complicated of course.

Finally she stands up, that familiar twinkle in her eyes as she once again offers him her hand. "Come with me, I have something else I want to show you.."

Spike has posed:
Finishing the drink, he sets his aside as well,"Appreciate the good word." he tells you and admits softly,"In my past less so. I don't know, of late...the thrill isn't there. Pretty sure I'd only kill when necessary." At least she's spared the stories about the Slayers.

"A partner you need, a partner you have." he replies with a wink,"I can still fight, even with the chip. You just have to be creative. Besides, if I have to take a shot from the chip to cover you..." he pauses and looks her over slowly,"....I think you might be worth it." The offered hand is taken and he smirks again,"Lead the way kitty. Show me what you have in mind."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman arches a brow at his response, a small smile foring on her lips, "Really? You'd do that for me..?" for a moment, her voice softens. She's been so hardened with a tough, loveless life. She honestly doesn't remember the last time someone showed her any interest, and maybe this is nothing, but maybe it is the beginning of something wonderful..

She chuckles, squeezing his hand as she leads him into one of the curtained off VIP rooms. Must have paid a handsome fee for it but it's worth it. Luxurious leather seats, a mini dance floor, their own private tv and of course privacy, although the soft music still wafts in from outside.

"So..." she purrs, wrapping her arms around his neck, "What do you think?" that impish smile still lingers on her lips, the zipper of her skin tight outfit undone just a bit below the collar bones offering an enticing glimpse of cleavage.

But at least she's not drunk, and there is a genuine warmth in her eyes for him. "Soo are we enjoying the night so far?"

Spike has posed:
"I'd do that for yyou." he replies with a snort,"Don't let it go to yyour head." he adds teasingly. There is a pause as the two of yyou enter the private area and he pauses,"On second thyought..." he comments,"...let it go right to yyour head." His words trail off thyoughfully.

When her arms slip aryound his neck he meets her gaze again. The smirk that crosses his face is genuinely amoryous as he slips his hands aryound her waist,"It's nice. Very nice. A bloke cyould get used to this." Considering her words for a moment he finally smiles,"I'd say I haven't enjoyed a night like this for a long time. I cyould get used to having you aryound I think." He lets one hand slide up and tyouch her cheek gently.

Catwoman has posed:
"Ooh, I plan too.." Catwoman purrs, "My own personal bodyguard, mm? I'm flattered!" she winks teasingly.

And now that they're alone, she flicks off the mask, arms still comfortably wrapped around his neck as she draws him nearer and whispers , her blood red lips brushing against his ear. "So tell me then..Do vampires experience emotions the same way as humans?"

Spike has posed:
A smirk touches his features again as she comments on her plan. Again he looks the place over and then back the the beauty so close to him. When the mask comes off he tells you softly,"You know. I have watched you on the television. The camera's make you look amazing, but they can't do you enough justice as seeing you here like this." There is still a poet inside.

A moment of consideration and he replies finally,"There are those that say no, but I say we do and then some. I never loved, hated, or anything else like I do now when I was human." he admits,"Of course there are those and assume we are only slave to our blood and it never runs to our head, but it's more than that."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smirks, "Well you sure know how to flatter a lady, make her weak in the knees, don't you?" although her smile is a gentle one as she leans her cheek into his palm, eyes fluttering closed for a moment, purring contentedly.

"Although to be honest, I haven't been this...Close, to anyone in a long time. It feels nice for a change. You know, it can be a cold, lonely world out there." she peers back at him thoughtfully at his admission and smiles.

"You know..There are humans who are less..Human than you. I've met a few monsters. Humans can be monsters too."

Spike has posed:
"It's not every day a beautiful woman invites me to be her company for the night." he admits,"I have to make sure she still wants to see me again next time." He strokes her cheek and side of her neck lightly,"It's been a while for me too. A few really bad choices that I need to avoid, but otherwise nothing..." he shrugs.

"It is nice to have someone close that wants you around for sure." he finally admits,"You have to find your own warmth in the world. A spark in the night as it were." A soft laugh at a memory,"Oh believe me, I have seen my share of human monsters in life. No question there. You might have heard of a few of them."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman smiles, "Oh, I'm surprised the girls aren't knocking down your door, mistaking you for a modern Billy Idol." she chuckles, "I mean, you got the superstar looks, the smooth talking confidence..I wonder if you would have thought differently of me if you didn't discover my alter ego was a wealthy socialite?"

As for monsters, she quirks a curious brow at him, "I may have heard..An organization I occasionally work for for us full of human monsters. I sometimes wonder if I'm any different, teaming up with them? But at least I give most of the money I earn to those who need it. At least I only steal from the rich..I find unnecessary killings to be...Distasteful."

She smiles again, reaching up to gently stroke his hair. "Oh, I very much ant you around."

Spike has posed:
"If I tell you something you might think less of me." he tells you lightly,"I really am old fashioned in the sense I want a woman around for a while. Sure a fling here and there, but at the end of the day I love the idea of love. I've been reffered to as love's bitch more than once." He laughs at his own expense softly.

"As for the wealthy socialite, money is good, but I know how to get my own. Not against it, but you get the idea." he lets his eyes lower a little bit at your touch and he admits,"Killing was my past. I'm solidly in the camp of only when necessary." The last of what you say causes him to meet your eyes again,"Funny thing that. I seem to want you around as well. We should look into that."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman shakes her head, "Hey, I like an honest man..Tell me?" she continues to stroke his hair, peering at his bleached locks with a thoughtful smile. "Nothing wrong with old fashioned thoughts of how love should be, although can't say I've ever really experienced it myself. I suppose true love is rare, and most people just want your body." she grimaces, "I should know, I was briefly a prostitute before I found the trade disgusting and switched to thievery. That my ugly little secret."

At least his reluctance to kill except when necessary has her visibly relieved, and it even causes her to smile, "Funny that, might as well see where this goes, hmm?" and that's enough stalling. Selina pulls him close suddenly, pressing a gentle but hungry kiss against his lips.

Spike has posed:
"Might as well..." he starts to reply, but is caught by surprise when she beats him to the punch. The kiss is met with an equal hunger. It's been a while of course, but some things. Well. One hand slips to the small over her back and the other to stroke her hair gently. No time for talking right now.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman is certainly not shy about kissing, and she certainly seems to be enjoying this very much. For a moment she relaxes in his grasp, closing her eyes as she leans in closer, and she is a surprisingly good kisser, for one who hasn't been in a lot of serious relationships. Hey it probably comes with the territory of subterfuge as a thief and all.

"Mmm, you *are* a good kisser.." she croons, breaking the kiss first at length and peering up at him with a faint smile, "You've clearly had practice." she teases with another impish smile.

Spike has posed:
No shy here either. The longer the kiss lasts, the better so far as he is concerned. Either way, he isn't too concerned about why she is a good kisser, just that she is. He's not bad himself, but as she comments, he's had some practice. He returns her smile with a half grin and replies,"Well, I've been alive a bit longer than you and dead even longer than that. A guy picks up a few tricks along the way."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman laughs, arms still wrapped around his neck. "I guess that helps! How old did you say you were..?" And maybe it's just the glowing red scratch marks that make her suddenly feel more feral, more..Predatory, but she's suddenly pushing him against the wall, pressing a more hungry, more predatory kiss against his lips this time, sliding her tongue inside his mouth as the claw marks glow angrily on her skin.

"So...How long are you staying in town anyway?" she rumbles softly, pressing against him.

Spike has posed:
The break between the two of them gives a chance to catch breath, even if it isn't needed. He's starting to feel his own predacious nature, but at least she is safe from that aspect of his existitence,"A hundred and seventy sev...." he is interupted by something far more interesting.

It's an interesting switch of situations and when her tongue slide against his he's surprised, but not really minding at all. If only he was paying attention to the scars. His hands slide over her back and he replies,"I've actually been considering moving to Gotham, to get away from the so called Sccobie gang for a while. You know a place I might be able to crash?"

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman is too busy kissing him still, running her fingers along his back, then reaching for the front of his shirt, slowly unbuttoning it, eagerly running her fingers along his smooth, muscular skin underneath. Did he bear battle scars from over a century of being a vampire? She is curious, even as her kisses continue to glide along the crook of his neck and collarbone.

"A hundred and seventy seven? Woow, you look pretty good for an old guy.," she grins, green eyes glittering playfully, "You don't need the Scoobies, stay with me..Come to my place? It's a nice, roomy apartment, and I think I trust you."

Spike has posed:
There are scars of course, but nothing hugely obvious. The kisses that trace down his neck and collar bone seem to cause something of pleasure as a slow smile spreads over his face. Busy with his clothes makes it tricky to contend with hers for now.

"I feel pretty good for an old guy too." he agrees. The invitation to stay with her causes a raise of his brow,"I agree I don't need them and if that is an invitation I'm accepting before you think better of it." he tells you, getting caught up in everything happening right now. Oh yes, he's getting very attached to this one.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman may be taking things a bit too quickly. But honestly, she's been alone and lonely for far too long. And while her judgement and rationality might normally get the better of her, right now she's thinking with instinct and gut feelings. Besides, she likes this one. He seems like a good person, a potentially good partner in crime, and the streets are getting increasingly dangerous to be going solo. And besides..She...

That red scar glows softly but angrily for a second or two as she struggles with her inner dialogue.

"Oooh..." she groans, suddenly feeling weak and dizzy as she sways and loses her balance for just a moment or two.

Spike has posed:
Lonely is a bad thing and the two of them both seem to have found a respite from that. Rationality is out the window for him, losing himself in each kiss, but like he said his blood rules him and it rarely runs to his brain. The prospect of a new partner in crime and an escape from the Scoobies is just perfect.

Quick to catch on when things change though, Spike shifts balance and energy to keep her from falling with her balance gives,"Easy love." he comments softly, holding her to him, but this time more protective and stabilizing than the wanton romance of a few seconds ago.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman blinks slowly, resting against his chest a moment or two as she tries to regain her bearings. "Ooh..." she squeezes her eyes shut, rubbing her temples, "This scar is getting worse, whatever it is..I'm..I'm alright, I'll be okay." she smiles, glancing up at him.

"Otherwise I'd say it was because of the killer kiss." Selina laughs a bit, regaining her strength, but still leans into him, enjoying the closeness of another. He's not the only one struggling with feelings of rejection, maybe even abandonment. Her own unrequited love for a certain dark avenger of the night has been eating at her for years. This is certainly a respite for her as well.

"Tomorrow, we can track that demon panther down yes? Tonight...I want to enjoy the rest of the night..With you." she smiles impishly as she rests a hand back on his bare chest, wondering just much much she can get away with.

Spike has posed:
He's nothing, if not adaptable. Just holding her against him for a while he listens to her talk and looks at the scar for a long moment. He frowns thoughtfully and for a moment is distracted at it. His head moves to the side a little and he asks her,"Is it bigger?"

He does manage to catch all the nice things she says though and he manages to force a smile again,"If you thought the kiss was a killer." he teases lightly. Rejection, nothing drives two people together like that. Well rejection and a fire for living even if one isn't necessarily alive,"Tomorrow we track the nasty panther yes. I'll need to get a few things. Do you know anything about it at all? Weaknesses and such?" Not as well known to most, but Spike is a planner and tactician of considerable talent.

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman hmms, "Dunno, what do you think?" she pauses a moment to draw up her left sleeve so he can get a better look at it. It hasn't healed at all, it's maybe a bit bigger, but it's not spreading or anything, just not healing either. As bright and burning red as before, occasionally glowing when she has a flare-up.

"To be honest, magic isn't really my thing. After the attack, I did talk to a Harry Dresden supposed to be some sort of Wizard I suppose. He said it looks like some sort of dark magic, possibly a curse. I suppose I need to head back to Bludhaven in a week, see if he has anything for me."

She shrugs, "But in the meantime, I figure if we can find it and kill it, maybe that will be enough? Isn't that how most curses are broken?" another helpless shrug. "Dunno but if it's a demon, wont it be weak to hole objects? So far I've only seen it lurk about at night, perhaps it has a weakness to the light? I...Don't really know.." really, Selina is out of her element here.

Spike has posed:
He studies the arm for a long time and doesn't touch the scar this time, remembering it hurt her last time,"Willow might know, but I'd rather not cross that bridge if we can avoid it." he muses aloud. A deep breath and he exhales slowly,"I'm not big in the magic circles either, but I've seen a few things. Nothing quite like this."

There is a hint of a smirk and he looks back into your eyes, enjoying holding close,"As a demon in my own right, I can say I'm not a big fan of bright light, particularly not sunlight." There are any numbers of things he might say, but instead he suggests,"What say we get a bottle of bourbon and get you home for the night. Tomorrow we can hunt the demon."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman nods, pulling the sleeve over her arm again. It still stings occasionally and she is careful about it. "Willow, Huh?" she shrugs, "Well, whenever I head back to Bludhaven to see Dresden again, if he has nothing, I may check in with her." she sighs, "What a pain this all is though.."

And the night is getting late, and Selina is feeling tired. "Hmmm, a nice long nap sounds good. You're coming too, right?" she grins wickedly, hands sliding down his arms to clasp his hands tightly.

"I meant it when I said you're welcome at my place. I'm afraid I only have my bike to drive us there, and not some fancy, warm car.lBut it's a good bike, got room for a passenger too. How about it?"

Spike has posed:
He watches her for a moment, curious at the fact she knows Willow, but he doesn't press it for now,"If those two don't have the answers we'll just kill it with violence. It tends to get the job done. If not...it will make us feel better anyway." Of course this is just light hearted fun. When the real fight happens Spike is all together something different.

When she takes his hands he returns the wicked smile,"You talked me in to it love." he replies with a winks,"I appreciate the welcome and a place to rest. Someone close by to remember that some nights are worth having still." The mention of a car and he laughs again,"I have a car tonight. Just outside. I can follow you and eventually I'll have to get my bike again. As much fun as it might be to play with you while you're trying to drive."

Catwoman has posed:
Catwoman shakes her head, "Havent met this Willow yet, but.." she shrugs, "Anyway, enough talk of Bludhaven! I need to take you in a tour around Gotham! But first it's time for a little R and R, mmm?"

With a smile and wink, she scoops up her mask, adjusting it over her eyes and leads him out of the private room. She has already prepaid it ahead of time so she just nods and waves to the bar man as she heads down the steps.

"Alright then, I parked out back, I'll meet you at the front and we can head there together?"

Spike has posed:
He lets you lead the way,"She is a strong wicca. She lives in Bludhaven. Dresden probably knows her as well. Those magic sorts all tend to flock together." He smirks a little,"A tour of Gotham after we take care of your little follower."

Once she places the mask back on he pauses for a moment and considers,"The mask makes you a curiosity, but the one under is far more alluring." he finally comments and steals a quick kiss before the two separate,"I'll see you out front." With that he lets her escape and waits to see if she comes back again.
