Synopsis: Crowds, code names, and big news.
Cast of Characters: Jane Foster, Thor

Jane Foster has posed:
She knew this was going to happen.

Plans for her day off needed to start with coffee. She was fine just brewing some at home where it was quiet, but someone had a craving that just needed to be satisfied and there was nothing that stood in the way of a mission of that magnitude. So here they are outside the coffee shop, her at a table with two steaming to go cups of seasonal lattes while one Lord of Asgard is busy regaling a crowd of fans while taking pictures and signing autographs.

Jane stifles her smile behind her palm as she props up her head, watching the goings on with resigned amusement. She wasn't quite sure what to do about the crowd at first, but now it's all kind of endearing in a crazy sort of way. Not that she's the center of it, and she seems quite fine letting him absorb all of the attention as she dunks a broken bit of donut into her coffee.

Thor has posed:
How many times does he have to flex while holding his hammer for a picture? At least fifty times. Thor is grinning all the while, one arm wrapped around a woman in her 40's, showing off that sweet curve of his bicep as the cameras flash a few times. After delivering an autograph to her neck, which is where she wanted it, he finally made his way towards the table where Jane was sitting. Sliding down, he leans over to give her a kiss, causing the girls nearby to let out a loud squeal before he plucks up his coffee.

With a wide grin on his face, he lifts his cup to the crowd, then takes a long sip of it before he glances back over to Jane. "Anyways, as I was saying, I would like to introduce you to the rest of the team. I know Hawkeye has been asking about you, as has Widow. I feel like we should get you a code name though." His brows lift. "Doctor Love?"

He has jokes.

Jane Foster has posed:
Yeup, now she's going to be on the internet. Awesome. Jane makes a brief and uncomfortable bit of eye contact with one female fan about her age who's staring like she hoped Jane would catch on fire. Coughing once, Jane's eyes slowly turn down to look at her coffee. Thankfully, one of the store employees - who is definitely not getting paid enough - comes out to try and shoo away some of the crowd so people can actually get in the door.

"...you are absolutely not calling me that." She says aside to Thor as she catches what he's saying. "No. I still can't believe I've been the topic of Avengers' dinner table conversations. A code name? Hm. I... guess, not than I plan on winding up on the news or anything. The other night at the fire aside."

Thor has posed:
"Avenger dinner table talk is actually rather boring. I would like to talk about the glorious fights that we've had in Asgard, but they talk for the most part about television shows, or the 'good old days' as Steve would call it." Thor is holding what has to be an impossibly large coffee. They had to go down the street to fight an empty gallon so they can fill it. The tip that he gave was more than generous.

"Why can't I call you Doctor Love?" He says with a grin. "Was that not the name of a famous song?"

Jane Foster has posed:
"I guess he's allowed to actually call them the old days." Jane gives a light wave of her coffee cup. "Still, it just boggles my mind. This is like fairy tale stuff I grew up on. Handsome princes, wizards, superheroes - I just expected to always see it from the outside. Some days I'm still waiting to wake up, except I already am."

Mention of the song brings out a huff from her and a grin. "Yes, it was. Also corny. Also about a guy and nothing to do with actual medicine. It also sounds like the title of one of those television shows they probably talk about."

Thor has posed:
"Well, come up with something so I can introduce you proper." Thor takes another long swig of his coffee. "I plan on speaking with my sister later. I am going to tell her that I do not wish to be the King of Asgard and that if she wishes to have my throne, she may. I am an Avenger now and my call to duty is here on Earth. As much as I will miss fighting Frost Giants and Ogres, the fights here are just as thrilling and if not more important. Besides, my friends back home have it well in hand and I can always visit them and keep in touch."

Jane Foster has posed:
"You have a sister?" Jane's brows lift as the implications of what he says dawns on her and thoughts of code names and surprise siblings are set aside. "You don't want to be king? Wow. That's some news. That's rare for thrones to change hands like that even here. I-- well, I can't even start to presume what kind of responsibility that is. If that's what you feel like you need to do, then you know best. I guess it is hard to be in two places at once even when you can fly and teleport."

Thor has posed:
"Aye. I have a sister. A younger brother as well. King Odin, my father, was obviously quite popular with my mother and other women. I am sure I have many siblings out there across the universe." Thor says as he finishes off his gallon of coffee, then wipes his mouth off with the back of his hand before he rises up to his full height and lumbers over to dump it in the trash.

"OF course I don't want to be the King. It has too much responsibility." He calls over his shoulder as he gets in line to order another round of breakfast sandwiches. "I enjoy the freedom I have in traveling the world and seeking out adventure. I only answer to myself!"

Jane Foster has posed:
"...well the legends got that much right." Jane mutters into her coffee as he gets up and moves to fetch more food. God-kings and their promiscuity.

"I guess I get to see more of you now, not to be selfish or anything." Teases the woman as she stands up and walks over to join him and keep him company in line without needing to shout. "I don't know a thing about your politics, but you know I'm there to stand by you if you need me."
