Shopping for Spooktime

Synopsis:	Raven and Hunori meet and exchange numbers!

Hunori Seong has posed:
     Another day in New York! With the weather cooling in the later year it was certainly begining to remind Hunori of home, but the Korean girl was at least a little excited to be spending October in America. Halloween was known world over, but the U.S. was its birthplace, and people tended to go far more 'all out' in this country. The fact that her recent life had been filled with 'costumes', monsters and danger recently had done nothing to lessen the excitement of the time coming ahead and it was that same excitement that had the young woman out and about, a thick jacket of obnoxious pink worn over her usual shorts and shirt as she made her way down the treat.

Why? Shopping for candy of course!

Raven has posed:
    Rachel, of course, is very not-pink. She's quite monochromatic, with dark jeans and jacket standing out against her pale skin. Only the red jewel on her forehead gives her a splash of color. She likely wouldn't give a second glance to people as she walks down the way, bracing versus the brisk wind, but something stops her. She pauses, stopping in place on the sidewalk, as her eyes sweep the area, looking about as she slowly starts to zero in on the woman in the pink jacket.

Hunori Seong has posed:
Pink, bright, even singing to herself as she walked along the street. Hunni probably couldn't really look like the opposite to Rachel. Moving forwards, the Korean teen comes to a pause outside a store, frowning in consideration. A bucket of sweets or specifics? Quality or quantity at its finest!

Raven has posed:
    Rachel takes a moment, and finally zeroes in on the woman in the pink. "You have /got/ to be kidding me." She says, her tone flat. Still, it's a good idea to look into the local weirdness. She moves to change her course, starting over towards the pinkette. This means she's going to have to be social. Ugh.

Hunori Seong has posed:
For all the physical abilities Hunori's enhancement offered her? Her mystic senses were noticably lacking. She couldn't 'sense' Raven as the goth could her, instead it was only as she caught the reflection in the window that Hunni turned, looking over her shoulder curiously at the approaching girl, tilt of the head and all!

Raven has posed:
    The goth girl approaches, and she gives a sort of head-nod. "Hey there." Her voice is kind of raspy, and definitely on the flat side tonally. There's an awkward pause, as she considers how to approach the issue. Finally, she just comes right out with it. "You have a lot of magic." she says, directly.

Hunori Seong has posed:
A blink, another blink. English might be a second language for the girl, but she was pretty good at it, more than enough to know that was far from a notmal greeting. Eyes widen, her gaze moves over the monotone stranger as she's equally stumped for a response before she too falls to the direct option:
"How can you tell?"

Raven has posed:
    Raven's greeting wasn't a normal greeting, but then then, Raven isn't much of a normal girl. She looks to the Korean girl. "Because I have a lot of magic. And because I try to know the people around here who do. And I don't know you." Her eyes go up and down Hunori, looking for any clues as to her magic and finding none. "So. I'm Raven."

Hunori Seong has posed:
Practical, but honest! The girl in pink was left to stare for a moment, finding words only a second after realising her staring. "Oh I guess that...makes sense?" she offers, uncertainty turning words to a question. She was still pretty new to this!

"I'm Seong Hunori...or Hunni if you like. I like your little..." the girl begins, trailing off to gesture a miming of the forehead gem. "Is that some sort of focusing thing?"

Raven has posed:
    "Something like that." Raven says, non-committally. Telling people about Evil Demon Dad is often not the best starting point. "Are you new to the area, Hunori?" she asks. It would explain how she hasn't picked up on her before. "What kind of magic do you have?" Then a pause. You're supposed to be nice, Raven. "If you don't mind."

Hunori Seong has posed:
"About three weeks," Hunni nods, gesturing to herself. "I was travelling on a tour and kind of...exploded some people who tried to kidnap me at one point. And their van. That was the first time I started with the whole..." she lifts her hands, exhaling a breath with a whooshing sound. "I'm kinda...I mean...I sort of become all glowy and awesome and can do some amazing stuff..." Helpful Hunni, such a clear definition she'd given! "What about you?"

Raven has posed:
    Raven watches. "Err...several different things." Empathy, shadow magic, demon magic. "I'd like to see the kind of things you can do." She offers, and she gives a number. "Give me a call when you have some time?"
