Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Singh, Melinda May

Singh has posed:
Its been a Loooooooong day. Very very long. A day filled with lessons on spycraft, on hand to hand combat, on ranged combat, and even more lessons. The newest of the Agents who is dealing with all of this is burnt out. Between Late last nights bout with the crazy Greek god and the full day of training, Ginger is pooped.

She is in the training area doing yoga to cool down. Her movements are very slow at the moment, very much deliberate too. The girl looks like a rung out sponge at the moment. JUst as she goes for a more interesting position she sorta flops over, not because she can't get into the position but because she is just exhausted.

Melinda May has posed:
Melinda May walks into the training area dressed for a workout and heads to one of the more peripheral sparring areas. Everyone else around seems entirely content to give her a wide berth. She's just about to start her own warmup yoga routine when she sees Ginger flop out of her own yoga pose. That's ... different.

Stepping over to the exhausted recruit, she looks down at her. "Long day, huh." It's more of a statement than a question.

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh laughs and nods, "Yeah. I got a serious workout today. I've never been pushed like I was today. Between hand to hand basics and then firearms training. The classes.... I dunno how I am going to retain all this knowledge. Its really amazing. You see stuff about spies and super spies and stuff on TV. They leave out just how much you gotta learn to do the job."

She straightens herself out and easily goes into the pose she missed. "I just needed to cool down a little. Debating if food should be a thing tonight or not." She snickers. "So how are you Agent May?"

Melinda May has posed:
May mimics the pose Ginger moves into with the ease of much practice. "Food is always good, Singh. And I'm doing well enough." She's been busy, but that's not a bad thing. "Pushing to to see how much you can take is also part of your training," she notes seemingly idly. "Just about everything you do while you're here is evaluated."

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh nods as she progresses to the next pose. "I'm starting to see that. This morning I was thinking of it as a Sprint to get through. Now I'm realizing its a marathon. Pacing is important but I don't wanna lag behind either. Never thought I'd ever have to learn to shoot before. That was a little strange. Getting used to it though. As for food, Honestly I think it would make me a little sick tonight."

Melinda May has posed:
"You should at least try. The commissary will know what to offer you." They're used to dealing with fried recruits, after all. May follows Ginger into the next pose smoothly before idly saying, "What brought you to SHIELD?"

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh smiles, "Honestly, I was told by someone I could either join SHIELD or I could be a guinea pig for the rest of my life. They were kind enough to tell me that the person I was is dead. That I'm not even human anymore. They were really kinda blunt about the whole thing. This is after my accident. I was in a hospital bed recovering and i got that. It wasn't Director Fury that said it. He was actually almost funny with how he approached me. Pretending to be a nurse. I was a little drugged up so I was an easy mark for that one."

Melinda May has posed:
"Nurse, hm?" May can't help the mental image she gets with that. It's amusing. "Do you remember who it was that gave you the less than stellar recruitment pitch?" Because yeesh. She might have to go have words with that person. Not that she's exactly known for a stellar bedside manner herself.

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh shakes her head, "I was a little drugged up." She sighs. "He claimed to be a doctor. An Alien. Wish I knew more. I wasn't exactly in the right frame of mind though to figure out the situation. Heck I wasn't the person I am today then. That person was a Pizza girl. A Cook and sometimes a delivery driver. I never dreamed I would be an Agent of SHIELD. Anyway, the person who really persuaded me to join SHIELD was a blend of the Director and my old boss. I did try to go back to being a cook and, it didn't really work."

Melinda May has posed:
"Oh? What happened with that?" This time, May changes pose first, to see if Ginger will follow her. And, she's chosen a more advanced pose, though not much beyond the ones that the younger woman had already been doing.

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh notes the change in pose and does follow suit. She doesn't have much experience with yoga but what she does have is flexability. So she does manage well enough. "I was torn. On one hand I'd have my dream. I'd have something I wanted for myself. On the other, I could help save lives. The former, it was my dream to open up a restruant and be a well known chef. But if I did that, it would have been a selfish endevor. I was given a gift. Another chance at life. I guess in a way, the weird doctor guy was right. Ginger Singh died in that accident. The person I am now is someone who can help others and make a difference. I can save lives. Thats more important then another restaurant, right?"

Melinda May has posed:
"Well, I have seen occasions where someone knowing how to cook is what saved lives. So don't count yourself completely out yet." Besides, she could always volunteer to cook for her fellow agents if nothing else. Changing pose again, May chooses this time for balance instead of flexibility, to challenge Ginger.

Singh has posed:
Ginger Singh follows May's lead. Its a bit more difficult for her but she does manage. It actually brings a smile to her face because its a good sort of challenge for her. "Oh I intend to do some cooking. I don't wanna wind up stuck in the kitchen though. If I'm going to be in SHIELD I wanna either be a Field Operative or a Specialist." She smiles a little. "Dunno if I have what it takes to actually, do anyone in. Nt yet anyway. For now I am content to shoot at targets and hope I don't have to shoot at people too much. Even if I had to shoot at someone last night." She shutters.
