Cast of Characters: Dagger, Daredevil

Dagger has posed:
Whispers have been trickling about Hell's Kitchen of a superhero throwdown that happened the other day. A member of the Black Dragons was able to actually escape the punishment of Cloak and Dagger due to the timely response of Spider-Man and another hero in some type of combat suit. The heroes got into a big skirmish! Rumor is that the one made of pure light got hurt really bad as well, igniting fresh hope and confidence that perhaps they aren't an angel or a devil and that they 'can' be killed.

Since that night, Cloak and Dagger hasn't made any type of appearance on the streets. Perhaps they finally got the hint and left town.

If only that was true. Tucked away in the old abandoned church is Tandy, who has her arm in a self-made sling. Her face has a nasty bruise with healing scrapes upon it. There is a single candle lit so to provide a bit of light, even if it is the morning. Currently she is rummaging through a backpack, taking out a few items of food with a thoughtful look upon her face.

Daredevil has posed:
Since their initial meeting, Matt has been keeping his fingers on the newspapers for any further mentions of the angel-demon combo that has swept through Hell's Kitchen as of late. Following the last article about the clash with Spider-Man, though, he's noticed a distinct absence of their mentions in the news. Their methods are unusual, but their hearts are in the right place so Matt doesn't like their sudden disappearance and has decided to go check out the church for information.

Upon arriving in the area, Matt sets up a block or so away and just listens. Over the steady road of cars nearby he can make out the sound of something going through things inside. Sticking to the shadows, he makes his way towards the side entrance he used last time until he pushes through to the darkness within. By the time he's in, he can tell it's the girl in white and opts not to startle her this time around. "It's Daredevil, coming in," he warns long before he's in range to be seen. As he steps out into the larger room, his hands are held upwards to show no harm intended.

Dagger has posed:
Glancing upwards quickly, Tandy looks to be on high alert when she hears his voice. Her eyes jerk about the shadows in search of Cloak for a moment before her hands produce a pair of glowing blades that slides out along the palm of the good hand.

"What do you want? Come to finish the job your insect friends couldn't do?"

Her voice has a cold rasp to it and she has the posture of an injured animal, the type that will attack in self-preservation. "I'm in no mood tonight." It's the morning. Does she even know? The windows are all boarded up now, leaving only the candle, and her blade to give her any sight.

Daredevil has posed:
The sudden increase in Tandy's heart rate and the startle in her voice causes Matt to stop moving closer. When the daggers light up, he tilts his head and tries to decipher what she's saying. Insect friends? Then it occurs to him.

"I'm not here for any reason other than to check in to see how you and your friend are," he says as he steps closer once again. His pace remains slow and steady as he approaches the horizon of the light from her daggers. He's quick in case she gets jumpy and decides to throw them at him, but he doesn't know how quick she is. "I came here a few weeks ago with the nurse?"

His hands remain up to show no signs of threat. "I hadn't read any reports beyond you two getting into a fight with Spider-Man and wanted to make sure you're okay."

Dagger has posed:
"I'm fine, outside of having a broken arm."

Tandy gives a frown as she twirls the dagger about in her hand, then lets it disperse in a twinkle as she gives a shake of her head. "He and some jerk in a blue suit attacked us and interrupted our capture of one the most important gang leaders for The Black Dragons. They thought we were gonna kill him. Who knows how the night may have gone, but at the time we needed him for interrogation."

There's a low noise in her throat as she heads back for her bag, then digs a box of cereal out.

Daredevil has posed:
The Black Dragons again. And Spider-Man interrupting. Sounds about right, but he understands why the wall-crawler did what he did. He also understands Dagger's frustration.

Lowering his hands once the daggers disappear, Matt steps a bit closer and looks at the woman, his eyes moving slowly from side to side beneath his mask as he checks on her. Broken arm. "Has anyone looked at that yet?" he says in response to the broken arm. He hasn't seen Claire in a few days and figures she'd be the one to fix her up if anyone would.

He glances around for signs of Cloak but can't pick up his distant heartbeat so he must be out. "What happened to the Black Dragons leader when Spider-Man intervened?"

Dagger has posed:
"He woke up from the nap I gave him and he tried to shoot Spider-Man. Cloak teleported him and the blue suit guy away and then we left them on a roof. I think he got away. We didn't go back for him because Cloak was freaking out about the fact blue suit guy used some kinda noise gun on me that blew into a brick wall and knocked me out. I was barely coherent at the time."

Tandy lets out a heavy sigh as she settles down into a pew. "No, I haven't seen Claire. I don't know where she lives at, or how to get ahold of her.. I don't remember if she gave me her number. She probably did. I'm just.. not good at .. organizing any of this."
