Getting Ready for Halloween!
Date of Scene:	29 October 2020
Location:	Gym - X-Men Base
Synopsis:	Some Xavier students get together to prepare for Halloween!

Pixie has posed:
Halloween was fast approaching, and Megan was only too eager and excited to get the dining hall set up and ready for the big night. She's brought an assortment of decorations, intending to make the place look like a spooky scary house!

Oh and of course she's got the stage set up too, looking forward to some live and local performances. She is currently stringing up some pumpkin lantern lights along the bottom front edge of the stage, "Ooooh these are so cute! This is gonna be tons of fun!"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has come along to help set up some things for the students. He may get to pull being the teacher, but he still tries to help out with things. Today he walks in carrying a arm full of medium sized pumpkins.

Nightingale has posed:
     "Oh my god, Megan," Shannon says, as she comes in with a very large carved pumpkin done by some of the younger students. She's wearing black and orange striped leggings, a black t-shirt with a jack-o-lantern face on it in orange, and pumpkin orange socks. "Those lanterns are so cute! Oooo, hey big brother!" Waving a wing to Sam, she grins. "This is going to be fun... really hope it's a good night for everyone."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles and nods, waving to Sam and Shan, "Thanks! Love your outfit too!" her own outfit is simple by comparison: A white mini dress with ghost face on the front, and black and white striped knee-high stockings covering her legs. "Oooh those pumpkins look delish! Sooo cute too! So let's see, I just gotta put up all this spooky spider webbing everywhere, I wanna make this place look super scary!" she opens a bag and pulls out tons of cottony, sticky webbing speckled with little plastic spiders. "Oooh, it's sooo sticky! now I'm all tangled up!" hey, now she looks even more like a spooky ghost!

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "You two both may want to be carefull with that stuff going to have it all over your wings, and will be a pain to get off." He chuckles softly moving to set the pumpkins down "So, what ya got planned for tonight?

Nightingale has posed:
     "Other than putting some of these decorations up, not a whole lot. I mean, we do have to leave some of it till the last minute, otherwise we won't be able to use this as a dining hall during the day. But some lanterns, some spider webbing, a few things here and there, they'll still be fun to see for a few days beforehand." Shannon chuckles softly, keeping her wings neatly tucked in behind her--and hopefully well away from the sticky, silky stuff that Megan uses to festoon the walls. "Heh, the one I'd be worried about if they got this stuff on them would be Logan." Because, you know, spider webbing and hair!

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles as she twirls around in sticky spider webbing, getting it all tangled up in her wings. Which is oddly fun in its own way. "Yeeeah, just getting ready for party night. This will be tons of fun though!" she smiles as she pulls some webbing out of her hair, "Heey, some of this kinda goes with my costume don't you think?"

She continues to hang up webbing all over the place, "I wanna make it as spooky as possible, oooh, I even brought some giant fuzzy spiders! What do you think?" she holds up a spider, which is nearly three feet across! With bright red glowy eyes!

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says he would probably just light himself on fire for a moment." He is joking right?" He looks around and says "Not bad, but think maybe some Fake chasms or flat tops. I mean we could make it look like spooky central.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon gigglefits, lofting her eyebrows. "I mean... yeah he could heal from that but... yeesh!" Her eyes go wide as she looks at the huge spider Megan's showing off, and shakes her head. "I'm not sure... Sam, got any thoughts? You don't know if anybody happens to deal with arachnophobia, do you? Spooky is good, touching off something like that is not."

Magik has posed:
    Illyana enters the hall, coming from the kitchen with a steaming mug of hot chocolate in her hand. As she starts to walk the length of the dining hall, offers the decorators a friendly smirk. "This looks... festive." Halloween. It's a pretty weird holiday. Particularly from certain perspectives. She doesn't elaborate beyond her comment, though she does stop walking to watch.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn pouts, "Awe, you do t really think someone will be afraid of spiders?" she giggles, tickling the big furry black creature. Good thing it's not real, "I was thinking of hanging it by the entrance, springing down on people. I mean, we'd probably need a disclosure or warning about scary stuff. I doubt someone with any morbid fears would even come to a Halloween party."

She shrugs as she grabs a chair and proceeds to hang it from the entry way, just to test it out. Spying Illy, she smiles and waves to her, "Hiii Illy! How's it going? We're getting ready for the Halloween party in a few days..Ooh but I'll bet this is your favourite holiday, right?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will smile and nods to Illyana and says "Hey Illyana, good to see you back around, how have you been doing?" He asks his friend. He sets the pumpkins down he was carrying in. "I figure we can have folks carve them if want to have a contest or just have them around for looks." He has spent a couple Halloweens around Illyana, and knows just the tip of things that could happen.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon turns at just the wrong moment to greet Illyana--for as she does, her wings do flare out slightly, the tips of her flight feathers becoming tangled with some of the sticky spider webbing! "Ewww!" It's a comical sight, with her trying to flap her wings about and disentangle herself from the stuff.

Magik has posed:
    Illyana raises an eyebrow at Megan's comment about a warning about the scary stuff and she has thoughts on what she /could/ do. And she'd be helping. But at the comment about it being her favorite holiday though, there's a flicker of /something/ there. "Halloween is not 'Monster Christmas'", she answers a little cooly.
    And then her attention turns to Sam, "Hey Sam. I'm fine. Just getting back to being back here in... here." She gestures around the hall, but by her tone, she could mean 'the world'. "So you're helping the new students with the decorating?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles at Shannon, "Oooh sorry! I guess I should hang it a bit higher, still it's kinda fun!" and she's determined to make it as scary as possible, "Ooh, pumpkin carving sounds fun too! Hey Illy, you gonna come? You totally should! I'll bet you have lots of scary costumes."
