Getting used to the old place again, and for the first time.
Date of Scene: 04 November 2020
Location: Living Quarters, Titans Tower
Synopsis: Supergirl and Red Robin catch up a bit.
Cast of Characters: Red Robin, Supergirl

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is here in the living quarters checking things out. It has been a while since he has been working with the Titans, and even since he has been to the tower, so he is checking it out seeing what may have changed. He is looking over the living room area, and decided to make himself a sandwich in the kitchen ajacent.

Supergirl has posed:
This was new for her. Supergirl had been approached about the Titans. She had more recently been officially offered a spot by Garth after assisting him in an investigation. Or perhaps it was that moment in combination with the attempt to save him during an assassination attempt. Either way,she had a invite and here she was!

Supergirl was moving through the building a little at a time. Trying to get used to the place, figuring out which of the many spare rooms she would want as her own.

Which led her to the kitchen because that was work which would create an appetite. She paused as she got there, a little surprised as she hadn't realized she wasn't alone. With her senses, she usually knew but she was distracted.

Her smile is bright, one of those smiles that just naturally lights up a room. "Hi!"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks up, and offers a smile and a wave. "Hey Supergirl, how are you doing? Heard you were joining up on the team, when Garth invite SB." He will get some bread out cutting sine sub bread. "Want a sandwich?"

Supergirl has posed:
"Sure, I'm starving. Commuting all the time will wear you out. Even at superspeed," Supergirl says with a grin as she finds a seat, settling in with a smoothing of her cape and skirt to place as she sat.

"I didn't know Superboy was part of the team. Just been around Tempest a few times. Well, Garth."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and will pull another sub out and cut it. He will show her the array of meats and a bit of veggies. "Anything you don't want on it let me know." He will take his time making a superhero sub. "Yea Garth talked to him about joining, I plan on seeing if he is interested in having Sparrow Hawk, and Kid on the team as well." He admits. "Not 100% sure on how well Kid will fit."

Supergirl has posed:
"Sparrow Hawk. Gotham hero, right?" Supergirl asks. She hops up to start building her own sub, not expecting him to do it for her. "I'm not picky when it comes to food. No raw onions though. Texture thing. Otherwise, the sky is the limit."

She starts to pick and choose, moving to add this or that to her sub bread. "Don't know Kid. Never hard that one. Why aren't you sure if he'll fit in?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "You know her as Beacon, she decided to go with something a bit more in theme with in town." He tells her. He hmms and says "Well Kid, is rather rough around the edges and is more a middle of the road guy, well Gorilla. Mental powers and a good guy but some anger issues and a bad past."

Supergirl has posed:
"Oh! I didn't know she changed names. Yeah, I had been looking at her for the team I was thinking about making. My good luck I ran into Garth and he explained the Titans were basically of a like mind as me. So seemed easier to just join a team that was already around."

She adds a few more things to the sandwich then goes to look over the fridge in search of a drink. "Nothing wrong with anger issues and a bad past. No one is beyond redemption. But the mental powers. Like mind reading? That could be tricky for those of us with secret identities."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "Mind reading, illusions the whole nine yard, when it comes to that. He talks via them. I was working with him with the outsiders." He finishes his sandwiche and already has a rootbeer. "It can be good to help you learn mental shielding too though.""

Supergirl has posed:
"Not sure. I mean, my cousin told me that the secret identity is vital for our sanity and keeping our families safe." Supergirl finds a soda and brings it out back to the table with her, popping the top off then taking a sip before finishing her sub building.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "Oh trust me, I work for the king of secrets, I understand that." He offers with a smile, and says "But we have to decide what we are being around, and I trust Kid not to go snooping in folks minds."

Supergirl has posed:
"Well, if you trust him to be respectvul of the rest of us, then I trust your judgement," Supergirl decides. He does have Batman as a mentor. As such, secrets run in his veins. Moreso probably than Kal. Not that she'd ever admit that Batman was better at anything in any way. She still holds a bit of a grudge after that whole killing her cousin thing.

"Maybe we can help him with his temper?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "I am hoping to, been trying to get some of his key freak out points a bit less so, and such "You can imagine what issues a intelligent teenage gorilla might have." He tells her. He himself is good with bat and Kal, as they sorta killed one another."

Supergirl has posed:
"I cannot imagine, no. I mean I might be an alien but I blend in. So it is impossible for someone to know it at a glance." Supergirl thinks about it a moment.

"I guess he uses his illusions to hide he is a gorilla then? So he blends in. It would make sense. What sort of issues does an intelligent teenage gorilla have?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "Not a lot more trench coat, and I think maybe a subtle nudge not to notice him more than anything. " He admits "So, what about the others you were looking at for the team?"

Supergirl has posed:
"Not sure if Spyderbyte is interested. He seems very happy at the school he's attending. I'm really happy about that," Supergirl said with a grin. "He deserves to be happy. He had a hard life."

She sips her drink then continues. "There were you and Beac--Sparrowhawk. Then there is Willow. I haven't spoken to her in a while. Can see if she wants to join up if Garth is interested."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and ways "The witch? We worked with her a bit when we were freeing your cousin from Apokolips right?" He asks making sure he is thinking of the right person "She seemed a little green but willing to put in the work."

Supergirl has posed:
"Yeah, that's her. Little redhead. From what Constantine said, she has a lot of potential. She has power and she is willing to learn, wants to become more. Just like what I wanted for my group. To become better and more," Supergirl explains.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods and says "I had considered her for my magic expert but she seems rather busy when I was looking. It is good to have a magic person with a team seems more and more common to encounter. " He eats a bit and says "So, you finding you like it here?

Supergirl has posed:
"Dunno yet!" Supergirl goes to settle back in her spot, sub in a plate and soda in her other hand. She sits. "I was trying to find a room I like. Seems they have a lot of them. Something with a good view though. Plenty of light for obvious reasons."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and will suggest a specific room and says "There are about 4 that have the best morning sun, I was going to suggest one of those to SB as well. Thebright and dark ones are normally the first to go."

Supergirl has posed:
"Always the extremes. Those who prefer dark to hide and then the perky ones like light. Or Kryptonians since we prefer that to charge us up. Literally." Supergirl takes a bite of her sandwich, chews and swallows before speaking again. "Or some of us that are both. Kryptonian and perky."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake chuckles and says "Well it is helps not all of us dark and broody types are broody all the time, there are times we step out in the light for a bit of fun, just normally not in the mask, it would leave odd tan lines."

Supergirl has posed:
That made her giggle. "Yeah, it would. The masks are better for night time. I never really thought about it but you made it make sense. Outside just identity hiding," she adds.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "See thats why most of the day heroes who wear masks, either do full masks or have to stock up on series sunscreen." He jokes a bit with her and says :I think you will like the titans, but will warn you Raven is anti-perky."

Supergirl has posed:
"Anti-perky?" Supergirl repeats the words as though he just lapsed into a foreign language. "Is she one of those people who dresses in all black and has on too much eyeliner? Thinks it is better to be gloomy than give in to the sunlight?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "Well I don't know about he eye liner, she keeps her face hidden in the hood a lot, but she has some connections to the dark side of things and she finds the darker side more comfortable. She is a a loyal titan and will have your back though."

Supergirl has posed:
"Doesn't really matter. I mean, takes all types to make a team. Some will be darker, some will be perky. As long as everyone works to the same goal, tries to get to the same goal. Like your fried Kid. As long as he's working with us and not against us."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods his head in agreement. "Well I hate to eat and run, but I need to get back to Gotham, and check on a few things around dusk."
