Date of Scene: 21 November 2020
Location: Apartment 604, The Ludlow
Synopsis: Thor and Jane prepare for a vacation.
Cast of Characters: Thor, Jane Foster

Thor has posed:
It's a cold and rainy Saturday night in New York City, but that does not deter Thor from taking some time to visit Jane at her apartment complex. After unlocking the door with the key he has and making himself in, he calls out with his deep rumbling tone. "Jane Foster! I'm here!" He calls out as he gives a long stretch of his body.

Today the God of Thunder is dressed in a tight white t-shirt and a pair of jeans with a gray hoodie upon his large frame to ward off the rain. After stepping out of his sneakers, he nudges them to the side, then immediately makes his way to the kitchen to snoop about.

Jane Foster has posed:
Getting some time just before the holidays was a lucky break. Jane may owe one of her fellows a very large favor, too, but hey... at least her puppy dog eyes were still on point. There was one problem.

What in the hell do you pack to visit (New) Asgard?

She's got her small suitcase out and her bed put up against the wall so she actually has living room space. She's staring at her table with an array of different stacks of clothes that she's mulling over and looking unconvinced by any of her wardrobe.

"Hey!" She jerks her head up as the door open and gives the arriving man a quick smile. "What's up? I, uh, have some leftover Chinese in there if you're hungry. I was clearing out the fridge since we'll be gone a few days."

Thor has posed:
"Aye. I love left over Chinese." Thor finds the carton and pops it open, followed by stabbing a fork into it as he heads into her room, taking a large bite. After chewing and a swallow, he gives a lick of his lips as he peers over at her suitcase.

"You are not packed yet? I thought all Migard women packed relentlessly for vacations as vikings prepare themselves for war." He settles down on the edge of the bed, feeling the weight creak beneath him. "Definitely pack that." He says as he points towards one of her swim suits. "You will love the water there. I've been told it's quite magical."

Jane Foster has posed:
"I completely forgot to ask what I'm supposed to be packing for." Jane says with a helpless flap of her hand towards her clothes. "It's winter here, but what is it there? And is there anything I shouldn't wear?" Restlessly, she adds in a pair of jeans to a starter pile of the most critical - if largely unseen - articles of clothing. That was an easy decision to pack. She then adds the indicated swimsuit to the lot.

"Oh.. I should drag out my boots." And then she's got her wardrobe open, which is just one side of the bed's frame, to pull out a pair of brown leather calf boots with brass buckles.

Thor has posed:
"Jane Foster. You are a guest of New Asgard. Do not be afraid to wear what makes you comfortable. The weather will be perfect of course. Do not worry about it. We will have the finest room, the greatest food and drink. My friends will love you. You will even get to ride on a flying horse! A pegasus. That will be fun I am sure."

Thor gives a sprawl out on top of the bed, tucking his arms under his head as he gives her a wide grin. "You will also have the chance to find Asgard apparel of course and come back with some beautiful dresses and gowns. Perhaps my sister can take you shopping."

Jane Foster has posed:
"...those are real?" Jane got lost at the word pegasus. Because she may be a doctor, but she's still a little girl with a unicorn room in her heart some days.

Right, back on topic. "Right. Ok. Um... I guess this pile then." She collects up an assortment of short and long sleeved shirts and one cocktail dress. Those are quickly shoved into place and then she's jogging past him to the bathroom in order to scoop up her toiletry bag that she thankfully already packed ahead of time. That is tossed into the bag and then she's zipping it up.

"Okay, I think that's okay. I figure I'll wing the rest if I forget something. I think I'm good to go." She paces in the small space, turning here and there to look over her things as if she was overlooking something. She is not, but she's fretting all the same. "...wait. Shopping. Should I bring a bigger bag?"
