There's something in the coffee
Date of Scene: 02 July 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Ravager, Grace Choi, Molly Millions

Ravager has posed:
Standing on the deck of the rickety ship, Rose Wilson crosses her arms and doesn't look pleased with the situation she finds herself in. Maybe she always looks angry and upset, but something is irritating her at the moment because she tells one of the men to get lost as he tells her that they are approaching the DOCKS.

The docks are shadowy and not manned at the moment, because it's dusk and after business hours. All the union guys have gone home for the day. As the metal boat pulls into the docks, about four or five men start to get off and secure the ship to the concrete dock. One of them is a white-haired Chinese man, who gives directions to those around him to get things moving, and speaks Chinese, telling them to start offloading the dark roast coffee that he likes so much.

Chang Sa smiles as his favorite coffee starts being offloaded from the ship and he pokes one of the burlap sacks with his finger, making sure it is intact. Rose Wilson watches him from the deck and decides to take the stairs down to the docks in order to catch these coffee-lovers red handed. Chang Sa barks out some more orders.

Grace Choi has posed:
Well. -Almost- all the union guys have gone home. One of Grace's friends had called her, needing a ride. Her car had stalled, and she certainly didn't want to walk home at night alone in this part of tone. Thus, as Grace arrives and is approaching the docks to get to the warehouse where her friend is, her phone rings. It's her friend. Telling her about the - less than legal offloading with the docks having been shut down.
Grace had muttered a few curse words, and told her to call the cops. But, with downtown traffic, and response time she already knew it'd be a good twenty minutes before the police would get on scene. That is, if her friend even called. Grace didn't like how much faith people put in her. She was -not- a damn hero.
It's hard to hide, when you're 7' tall. Stealth isn't exactly an option. Nor is it Grace's style. So, the very large, very red-headed woman begins to approach the problem the only way she knows. Head on. Walking straight for Chang Sa, and his men.
"What the hell is going on?" Grace, not known for subtlety, either.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly happened to be in the area. Docks. Shipping. Gives her some hints of home. Likely she would have walked entirely by without doing more than registering the furtive offloading with her enhanced sight... but there's Grace. And she at least vaguely recognizes the 7' tall woman.

There's a mental debate in the shadows of a street light and then with a shrug she elects to amble in the direction of the giantess without particular haste.. ostensibly stealthy by the minimal precaution of sticking to the shadows at least.

Ravager has posed:
As Rose Wilson steps off the ship, she draws her kickass sword in order to begin her plan to kickass, then starts cussing under her breath as Grace interrupts. "Idiot, get the **** out of here," she says a bit louder, probably thinking that she can handle things by herself. Cheng Sa and the guy next to him turns to look at Grace with some kind of smirkiness, like arrogant men usually do.

Cheng Sa chuckles as Rose Wilson walks up to him, telling her superhero enforcer to kill Grace, "No, take her out," he says in Jin Chinese, "That's why you're here, girl." He pointy points at Grace Choi. Rose Wilson looks at Grace, "I think you better take off," she suggests.

The men offloading the "coffee" pile it into a White Van (tm) and are nearest to Molly Millions. One of them stops and looks at the street lights nearby, thinking he sees something. His pal yells at him and tells him to keep loading the dark roast.

Grace Choi has posed:
Grace tilts her head to one side, then the next. She cracks her knuckles, "No," she tells Rose back, "Don't think I will. But, I appreciate the warning." Even as Rose seems to be giving off a vibe that she is dangerous, Grace is doing just the same. All of her experiences tell her that Rose is not a common thug, or mercenary. But just the same, she's not letting that deter her. She has a friend, whose presently hiding, afterall, to protect.
She doesn't seem concerned about her lack of weapons either. "Consider me a concerned citizen. On behalf of an interestd party." She gives Rose a rather savage sort of grin.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly is not a card-carrying hero, by any measure. It doesn't particularly matter to her that they're loading drugs into a van. They could have cheerfully kept doing so all night except for one, slight, problem.

When one of them comes around the side of the van and spots her his... perhaps understandable, reaction is to draw a pistol. And that? Makes Molly actually care. He gets out a sharp noise of alarm, mostly because she was too busy watching the tall woman and the one with the sword, but the gun barely gets to clear leather before it hits the ground, followed soon after by him being crushed up against the van by the short-haired razorgirl.

Ravager has posed:
With a deflated sigh, Rose Wilson's master plan seems to be an embarrassing mess at the moment, "Okay, so this is the stupidiest ****** idea I've ever had," she tells Grace blandly, and shrugs her shoulders, "Now this ****** jackass wants me to kill you," she adds, "I'm his ****** best friend, all of a sudden."

Cheng Sa has a hand on his hip and is paying attention to the White Van (tm) nearby as Molly makes a ruckus, but the guy standing next to him is really interested in the conversation between Rose and Grace. He really doesn't speak much English though, and because he's an arrogant man like his boss, he lifts his overcompensating Uzi and points it at Grace, "Fat *****!" he lets out, "Die!" It only takes him a moment to fire.

After the man is ambushed and smushed against the van by the heroic Molly Millions, his friend and life partner decides to check on him, dropping his bag of dark roast. Yelling his name, that man is joined by another until the whole group of three men by the White Van (tm) are going around the sides looking for Molly Millions with their guns. One of them starts firing wildly at a shadow.

Grace Choi has posed:
"That is a pretty #*$&#'ing stupid idea," agrees Grace about attempting to kill her, half-amused at Rose's attitude, her eyes flickering back towards Cheng Sa, as Rose indicates him. "I'd have to take it personally. See, I hate it when people think that you'll just do anything you want. I tend to do what I want. Because most people are #$&$ing *$&$(#&$ers who can't #*$&#ing see though the @*&$#ing #*$&$ right in front of them, let alone have the sense to have any good ideas, themselves."
She might be wanting to say more, but then she's hearing something about someone being fat, and 'Die'. She turns to look. And, the oversized uzi begins to unleash holy hell.
Blood spills, splatters as Grace's shoulder is hit.
But then Grace isn't there anymore. She's moving. She is no Flash. But she's moving with a speed that a woman her size, let alone a human of any size shouldn't be able to move to close the distance quite quickly, and make it impossible for the man to center a target on her again.
The man is grabbed by his shirt, and Grace literally shot-puts him out into the cold, unforgiving ocean about fifty feet off dock. Her shoulder is bleeding, but she doesn't seem to even notice it, lifting her chin and asking, her voice low, "Didn't you just hear me tell you that I'd take it personally, if someone tried to kill me?" Directed at the men on the dock, rather than Rose - the only person who seems to have any sense here, besides herself.

Molly Millions has posed:
Likely, the guy's friends don't particularly get time to notice that the hand Molly thrusts at her captive's throat is bladed. But if they needed a reason to be mad the blood spray and gunshots starting up near the boss are probably good reasons.

The second guy quickly loses his achilles tendon as she ducks and twists more by instinct than intention to get out of the way of the third fella's bullets before darting around the back of the van as bulletproof she's not.

Ravager has posed:
Rose Wilson gives a sarcastic golf clap as Grace tosses the tiny lil thug out to the ocean and she squints, trying to see the splashdown. "Listen, these guys have guns. Lots of guns. And drugs. And other ****. And they're really ****** annoying," she admits, standing there as Grace does her work retaliating.

Cheng Sa frowns as the large woman sends his buddy for a ride and starts backing off, high-tailing it the other way like a man usually does who speaks too big a game. He cusses out Rose Wilson and tells her off again and again, threatening her and calling her names. Rose Wilson steps in front of Grace to stop her, "Okay, so the dilemma is that this guy thinks I work for him, so unless you put your fist through his face, my reputation is sorta ruined. Course, if you do, I guess my rep is ruined either way. So this really was a ****** bad idea, see?" she explains to Grace.

"AHHHH...you ****!" one of the men lets out as Molly Millions heroically cuts his leg. The other two men run after Molly because they are really obsessed with the idea of shooting her.

Grace Choi has posed:
"That could be a problem for you," agrees Grace. "See, I got a friend here. Got stuck. And, she's not going to be able to leave, until it's safe. So."
Her eyes flicker over towards the white van, and the screams. "That's not her. But, certainly is someone else," she tells Rose. "Maybe you better go check it out. Doesn't sound like you're protecting his investment. She might get what Rose is trying to do, but, it's likely enough she was going to do it anyways. So, she side-steps Rose smoothly with the understanding, or perception that Rose isn' going to be her adversary here, and she moves directly to Cheng Sa, and levels a hard blow straight into the man's chest. Not hard enough to kill him, but, hard enough to absoutely knock all the air out of his lungs. "And you're making me late for my shift," she tells Cheng Sa. "That's pissing me off, too."

Molly Millions has posed:
Wanting to shoot Molly is fair enough, one guy down permanent-like, another on his back. That she's being chased by another two with guns really isn't all that surprising. Non-heroically she continues her sprint around the far side of the van, pulling out a fletchette pistol as she goes. For the moment at least more focused on keeping herself intact than aware of what's happening at the end of the docks.

Ravager has posed:
With a smirk, Rose Wilson steps to the side and puts her hand up to try to get in front of Grace again, "Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna do that," she says to Grace. She deflects Grace's blow to Cheng Sa, causing her to miss him. Cheng Sa keeps running away like a scared chicken and runs back toward the ship now, "This guy is a Beijing player and I've been on him for a while now. You're gonna just ****** kill him? Yeah I don't think so."

The two men chasing after Molly Millions fire if they catch sight of her, then one of them stops and goes back to the White Van (tm). He starts the engine. The other keeps pursuing Molly around the van and keeps trying to shoot her.

Grace Choi has posed:
Grace hadn't been expecting Rose's deflection, and she hadn't put a whole lot of strength into her hit, either. Her eyes narrow at Rose, "Hadn't planned on killing him. But if you want to? Go right ahead."
Grace moves past Rose again, this time moving towards the White Van (tm). And, away from Cheng Sa. Leaving, apparently, Rose to it.
Grace instead grabs onto the White Van (tm) as it is starting the engine, and she lifts up the back of it. Then, she hand-steps up into it, and lifts it over her head, entirely.
She turns around, then. And, Rose is battle-hardened enough to read Grace's intent. She's going to throw the van directly into the boat.

Molly Millions has posed:
Bullets whine overhead, but unfortunately for Molly, physics is still a thing, and when her foot catches an unexpectedly slick part of the dock one of the bullets manages to catch her in the bicep.

There's priorities, for Molly, and stopping the guy starting the van isn't on the list for her. Especially now. She was content to try and find a safe spot to check the damage when suddenly the back of the van starts to /lift/ and she doesn't even stop to think but raises the fletchette in the direction of her pursuer and offloads with the whine *fwoomf* of the razor sharp darts. If only in the theory of keeping them off Grace while she picks up the van.

Ravager has posed:
Putting a hand on her hip, Rose Wilson mutters, "I'd rather you ****** let me handle it and get the **** out of here, but that's not gonna happen, is it?" she asks. Cheng Sa starts climbing back onto the ship and then grows wide-eyed as Grace launches the White Van (tm) over his head at his boat. It hits the ship like a missile, going through the top deck with a firey explosion and the gasoline and the oil and the firey car parts start up in flames. The ship starts to sink in the shallow water. Rose grabs Cheng Sa and flops him back down on the dock. She kicks him until he tumbles off the side of the dock.

As Grace lifts the van over her head like a superhero, the remaining gunman aims at Molly Millions, looking like he's won a prize. The razor darts keep him from firing his gun at her or Grace, but now he's too scared to try again so he starts running in the opposite direction.

Grace Choi has posed:
"I hate repeating myself," Grace tells Rose. "I take it personally, when people try to kill me." She dusts her hands off, smoothly, looking over at the gunman, and Molly. And, then the running gunman. And, those gunman laying lifeless on the ground. She doesn't seem to be all that surprised, or, all that distraught over the fact that they might be dead.
"Take your new best friend, and head out of here, before the cops get here. They're probably on their way." She apparently doesn't have any desire to fight Rose, the younger girl didn't try to kill her. And, is clearly some kind of mercenary for hire.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly Millions puts her gun hand up in the universal gesture of 'hell no I'm not aiming at you' when Grace looks her way, lenses going in the direction of the fleeing gunman until he's out of sight and then slotting the weapon back without attempting to move her injured arm immediately.

"Man, anyone would think they don't have anything better to do." she grunts with regards to the police, reaching to place her hand over the wound with a look in Rose's direction even as she utters at Grace,"I figured, somehow, if you were up here there was something weird going on."

Ravager has posed:
Rose Wilson doesn't really say anything to Grace and Molly as she hauls Cheng Sa up and shoves him into a taxi. She doesn't say if she's wired the taxi to blow up or not. She then turns away to leave, apparently not wanting to fight or argue further. With the docks on fire, the place is a mess and sirens can be heard in the near distance. It's really quite a wreck.

Grace Choi has posed:
Grace does nothing to prevent Rose and Cheng from leaving, instead, she looks over at Molly. "What? I'm just here to pick up a friends at work. They #*$&$ing shot at me." She shakes her head, as if Molly's statment of her being here so there was trouble made no sense to her.
She lifts her hand, "I'd get out of here, if I were you. I gotta go pick up my friend."
