Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller has decided to go out for a walk today. He tries every few days to head out and walk a different part of a different neighborhood. He has been here a year or so now, but getting to know a city like New York could be a life time thing. He does walk along and chuckles a bit as he looks at the plumbing store.

Pixie has posed:
To be honest, Mutant Town is a mess lately, even more so than it has been in the past. With the recent attacks on mutants in this area, crime rates are at an all time high, and people are more paranoid than ever, both those who were depowered and those who managed to escape.

Which is perhaps why Megan decided to visit the town, not the least of which is because she has friends here she needed to check up on. But now that she is no longer a mutant, things can get tricky.

And even though it's the middle of the day, it looks like she's already developed a tail as three thugs follow her down an alley, getting ready to jump her..

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller looks over and frowns as he notices three guys stalking a girl. The big man will move to catch up, standing in the alleyway. He does watch a moment, but as he sees the guys getting ready to jump he will clear his throat, and says "You try that boys, and your going to regret it, probably while in full body casts."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn pauses and glances around as she notices the thugs, only after Joseph clears his throat and addresses them. She grimaces and inwardly groans..Whhy does she always seem to attract trouble!? "Oh yay, more thugs. This place never changes." she sighs, realizing that she HAS changed, and not for the better. "Yeaah, you guys, why dontcha pick on someone your own size!?"

But it seems they're already set in their ways, and they just laugh as they approach the two of them. "Idiots! Give us all yer money!" One of them clenches his fists, producing balls of flame which he tosses at Joseph. Another who seems pretty big and strong is already charging Megan. The third, uses telekinesis to pick up some trashcans, tossing them towards them both.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller will step in the way of the fireball, and lets it hit his chest, counting on the fact that he is bullet proof, and expecting these guys to be on the lower power scale if they are doing stuff like this. He will move to grab a dumpster, and lifts it easily with one hand upturning it like a box, to put over the firebug.

Pixie has posed:
"Hey, what the..?" the fireball thug's eyes widen in surprise and disbelief as he easily absorbs the fireball, and then lifts a dumptster over his head. "No way!" he's already fleeing - though he doesn't get far, easily trapped beneath the dumpster.

The other two thugs continue to approach, snarling, the telekinetic uses his own powers to grab the dumpster, pull it into the air and hurl it forcefully towards Joseph, while the muscle guy attemps to punch Megan.

Fortunately, Megan has some other tricks up her sleeve. With a yell she produces her glowing pink souldagger, bringing it up to block the attack, and while she's not a terribly capable melee combatant, she does manage to stab him a second time with her dagger, which is really all she needs to stun him. With wide eyes, he shudders and falls to the ground, unconcious.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller reaches up and moves to catch the dumpster as it is coming back. He looks over it and says "You wanting to test your mind against my brawn kid?" He shakes his head, and says "So you know, I ripped a sentinel apart with my bare hands." He tells the kid and it is pretty much true,just few heard about it as it was out at a dock, and not around as many people

Pixie has posed:
Well, that certainly doesn't sit well with the TK thug. He may be strong, but not *that* strong. He turns tail and runs too, along with the firestarter.

Megan breathes a sigh of relief, glancing at the unconscious thug on the ground, shaking her head. "Thanks for helping me out!" she says brightly towards the strong guy (the good one, not the thug). Sheesh, I guess things never got any better here.

She seems pretty tired, her formerly pink hair now ginger, her wings gone although she still has the pointy ears and dark eyes. Not quite human, not really a mutant anymore either.
