Interview with a Fairy!
Date of Scene: 02 March 2021
Location: East End, St. Martin's Island
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Pixie, Superman

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn is an Xman, but, when she agreed to this interview, she decided it might be safer to just come as herself, a cute, pink-haired, fairy-winged mutant. She may be a superhero but first and foremost she is a mutant, struggling to live in a world that hates and fears mutants.

And of course the infamous Mutant Cure, created by DAMT, a corrupt branch of the government's research department that has no doubt been separated from the government for some time and now works indepenently and largely undercover, is a looming threat over the mutant population.

Naturally she wanted to tell her side of the story, so she arrives on the rooftop patio of the Daily Planet, waiting to meet the news reporter, Clark Kent..

Superman has posed:
As usual, Clark was busy.

In fact, he had just finished writing his news article about a poisoning situation that apparently happened in South Africa. But, with that work now finished, it doesn't take long for someone to chime him in and make him aware that Megan Gwynn was here to see him. After thanking the representative, Clark puts on his nice suit jacket and he walks to the roof in order to greet Megan.

"Ms. Gwynn?" Clark calls out, looking around somewhat aloofly, even if he stumbles just a little bit as he steps onto the roof proper. "Clark Kent." he introduces himself. "I understand you have quite the story?"

Pixie has posed:
It's hard not to notice Megan, what with the bright pink hair and glittery dragonfly wings that spread out about her as she lands on the rooftop. Thankfully there aren't a lot of people out on the patio this early in the morning, because she doesn't want a whole lot of negative attention.

Dressed in a green hoodie draped over a black t-shirt and close fitting blue jeans, she nonetheless looks like your typical college aged girl, all bright and starry-eyed and full of energy.

And it's hard to miss Clark Kent, one of the Daily Planet's best reporters, if not for his striking height alone. She giggles a bit. "Woow, a celebrity! this is gonna be soo cool! I've never been on tv before!" she smiles and waves to him as she approaches, nodding.

"Right right. Have you heard of the Mutant Cure? And the attack on Mutant Town? I know it's more prevalent in Westchester County and New York, less so in Metropolis, but.." well, there's a reason she came to the big city, to get word out.

Superman has posed:
It's true, Clark is probably about as noticeable as a double decker bus when compared to the other residents/workers at the Daily Planet. Though he is also perhaps the most mild-mannered and doesn't seem to be too full of himself, despite his apparent popularity as a reporter. His blue eyes lock onto hers and a smile emerges, revealing perfect white teeth in a smile that's almost charming.

That said, he's dressed rather professionally, even as he adjusts his obnoxiously nerdy glasses to ensure he's seeing correctly (not that he needs them, but its all for show). He eventually seems to chuckle. "I dunno if I'd be considered a celebrity. Usually I just ask them the questions, I'm just a middle man between them and the news." Clark attempts to tone things down a notch. Hoof, at least he's not in his Superman mode right now.

....even if his ears are alert and waiting for something horrible that may need his direct intervention.

"People in Metropolis have heard about it, but since you were most likely among those who were really in the thick of it, I'd like to hear your story and take on things, because chances are, we don't know enough."
