Thor has posed:
Later in the evening, after Thor's brief visit with the man known as Tony Stark his shadow would darken as it swept across the great mansion that was home to Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Dropping low as he flew past the hedge fence barrier, his flight silent for the most part without...
Yet within the artificial intelligence will have caused a flicker of warning lights to flash into existence. A steady trill of alarm would sound and after the third chime the polite British voice would rise to offer the calm sentiment.

// Perimeter has been breached. Arrival declaration. Odinson, Thor. Monarch of New Asgard. //

With its warning dispensed it repeated it, though silently, likely keyed with that precaution by an Avenger whose night had been interrupted one too many times by the comings and goings of teammates. Yet it was enough to give fair warning...
For once the back door to the kitchen opened, just off of the long elegant driveway, the Thunderer's voice would announce his arrival as well, lifting loud and vibrant. "Avengers! I would have words with thee!"

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff happens to be in the kitchen when the alarm goes off. Cooking, even. Eggs. On the stove, in a skillet. Scrambled. There might be some peppers and onions in there, and some cheese as well. She pauses for a brief moment, stilling, before the polite British voice sounds. Her mouth curves up in a smile. She finishes cooking the food and turns the stove off while waiting for the imminent arrival. Just as the door opens up, the eggy concoction is transferred to a plate and the pan set on a cool burner of the stove for dealing with after it has cooled down. "Thor," she greets. With plate in hand, and a fork sitting on the plate, she turns and leans against the counter next to the stove. "Is something wrong?"

Slipstream has posed:
Heading into the kitchen after hearing the powerful voice of Thor, Drake comes out of his 'slipstream' with a trail of blue lights behind him as he walks out the last few steps. He lifts his hand upwards towards the large Asgardian, then gives a quick smile towards Wanda.

"Hey guys. Everything okay, Thor?"

Running his hands back through the shaggy brown hair, he huffs out the last few strands with a quick blow upwards of his breath before he sinks own into a chair, followed by a sniff. Eggs? He can feel his stomach quickly rumble.

Thor has posed:
Sweeping into the room, much like a hurricane summoned at his behest, the Asgardian monarch gives a half-smile and a greeting alongside it, "Lady Maximoff."
Though often when out and about he is seen wearing the garb of a warrior, on this evening his manner as low-key as may well pass for him. Jeans, brown leather work boots, a red shirt and a long black winter coat all give him /some/ semblance of normalcy. Yet it's the strapless eyepatch and the enchanted hammer in his hand that would likely draw attention from a crowd were there one.
Though here, amongst such fair comrades, his garb hardly draws a second glance assuredly. "And young Drake, I bid you both greetings." He steps away from he door just in case others might enter then with a faint /whom/ sets Mjolnir upon the kitchen table, causing it to shake faintly from the shift in weight. "Tis good you are both here, but I had hoped to see more of our teammates. But for now this shall have to suffice. I wished to offer warning of what may pass."
Then he draws up short to look at them both, "Have you time?"

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff looks over at the entering Drake, and then down at her eggs. She didn't miss that rumbling stomach. Or Perhaps she suspects it's rumbling. She breathes out a sigh and holds out the as yet untouched plate of eggy goodness toward the speedy man. "Here. Eat," she says. She takes in Thor's current garb with a curious look. Her own attire is much louder than what he currently wears, being red and black as usual. The corset is even there like normal. She remains leaned where she is for the moment as she considers the words offered. "I have time," she says. "And any warning of danger to come is always welcome. If warned, there's a chance to stop whatever it is from happening."

Slipstream has posed:
"Hey, nice clothes, Thor. Love the jacket. That looks pretty warm." Drake says as he eases back into the chair, tucking his arms back behind his head, rocking the back legs of it backwards so that he can dangle at an angle. At the offer of eggs, he gives a sheepish smile. "It's cool, Wanda. I'll snag something later. Maybe do a burrito thingy in town." He's not about to steal someone's eggs! (Not hers at least.)

"Yeah, I have time, do you want me to record this meeting and pass it on to the rest of the team?" He says as he wiggles his phone out of his pocket, setting it up on a kick stand. "You know Mister Stark, he likes visual aids for just about everything."

Thor has posed:
"Not..." There's a pause as the tall man's brow furrows, "Necessarily danger," And it's true Thor is not exactly the best man with the greatest poker face, but there is at the least no malice behind his hedging of words. He does, however, lean back against the counter near to the other two, arms folding across his broad chest as he considers them. The amiable visage seeming a touch sharpened by the grim eyepatch and the man's stern features.
Then his gaze looks to Drake and he gives a nod, "Indeed, record as you would, Winters. So long as this ends up not on the Tubes of You." He holds a hand up and gestures slightly, perhaps a hint of admonishment.
"You are aware my people rebuild still, albeit we have come a long way. There is a matter, however, in that we seek to recreate some of that what we once had. In this case we seek the completion of the Bifrost."
His blue eye shifts from one to the other, then back again. "On Asgard 'twas a simple thing. A great projection of power from our furthest point took us anywhere in the nine realms. Yet here, with the Bifrost upon one point of Midgard, its reach cannot extend toward the other side of the planet. We will need the aid of an artifact to be able to channel that energy, and redirect it. Thus, I will have to depart for a time to where Asgard once stood, and seek the Shield of Bors."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
"Are you certain, Drake? I can make more. It is not difficult." Wanda might not be the best cook in the world, but she cooks well enough for her food to at least be edible. She nods to him as far as a visual recording goes. "Might be a good idea," she agrees. That said, her attention shifts all to Thor. She listens attentively to what he has to say, then nods slowly. "I can see how that might be in need of warning. That... Hm. Tony might be the right person to speak to on that. There are satelites up there," she says, pointing a finger up toward the ceiling of the mansion, presumably meaning the sky and beyond it, to space. "A decision on where to redirect it will need to be made, to avoid damaging anything." She nods about him needing to depart. "Shield of Bors?"

Slipstream has posed:
Tapping the button to record, Drake gives Thor a thumb's up. "No worry, I won't upload it to the Internets. It'll just got out on the secure channel and I'll make sure it's password protected." Now how do you spell saskatchewan backwards?

He gives Wanda a quick smile, shaking his head again as he listens to the large Asgard. "Huh. Does this mean we're going out to find this artifact? That's cool. Who doesn't love an adventure?" He says as he tilts the camera on the phone perfectly to capture Thor.

He's the star of the show!

Thor has posed:
"Tis one of the few objects capable of enduring the energy of the Bifrost," Though beyond that he says naught else about it. Thor then looks to Drake and the cellphone as he explains in part. "I have had words with Stark, but I think there may be more to do than he seems to imagine here may be."
The tall man's image is duplicated perfectly in the small window of Drake's cellphone display and captures him as he gestures with one hand. "I had intended to take one or two comrades, those who were available. If your time is open then assuredly your presence would be welcome." As he says that he looks to the two of them, but also the camera.
"We may well have to launch it as a satellite of sorts, and I imagine that the governments of Midgard might ill look upon such a thing's passing. There is also the matter to address if the Bifrost completes, then that would make the planet and its people...
There's a pause as he seems to consider how exactly to say his, until eventually he settles on, "More prominent, to the civilizations beyond."

Scarlet Witch has posed:
"N, a, w, e, h, c, t, a, k, s, a, s," replies Wanda to what is probably not a serious question but is treated as such anyhow. She lifts the fork and starts to eat her eggy concoction. She eats slowly, as she's semi distracted with thoughts of the presumably upcoming Bifrost and the problems redirecting its energy might cause. When no more information is given on the Shield of Bors, Wanda simply nods and doesn't ask further. Despite the curiousity there, she isn't going to push. As comrades going along is confirmed, Wanda nods. "I am not overly busy and willing to go." She eats a bit more as she listens, and nods agreement at the governments of this planet and how they might feel about this. "I think the governments you're worried about might look more ill," she says, borrowing Thor's phrasing, "On this planet and humanity in general being more prominent to the universe at large. Since there are a number of satellites, so long as it damages nothing already there, and it's properly cloaked, most of the governments probably won't even know of its existence."

Slipstream has posed:
"Of course. I will be available for this trip if you need me. I can at least provide some type of recon if necessary." Drake says as he straightens up, though he memorizes the word that Wanda just rattled off backwards to the best of his ability. That's a toughie.

"Pretty sure Mister Stark can launch whatever it is into space and pass it off as a Stark satellite. He probably has about a hundred up there anyways. Does this mean we get to go to Asgard at some point? I've always wanted to see it. Your stories make it sound pretty incredible."

Thor has posed:
A tilt of his head is given as Thor's brow furrows, some hint of trepidation seen there in his severe gaze, yet he nods and murmurs. "Stark said as much," About cloaking the satellite and most wouldn't even notice.
Then he looks toward Drake as if seeking his counsel in counterpoint to Wanda's as he murmurs, "Is that truly the path we should take in this matter? Subterfuge?" He draws a hand up and strokes his beard thoughtfully, a deep breath taken and then slowly exhaled.
Then he shakes his head at Drake, "We would be seeing its ruins, likely not leaving the ship. Rubble in space at this point." That said he gives another nod. "Pass what you would on to the others, but I will speak with them as well. Until then."
And with that he turns back toward the door, holding a hand out and having Mjolnir casually leap into his hand with a faint /whom/.

Scarlet Witch has posed:
Wanda Maximoff nods, expression thoughtful, to what Drake says. "You're probably right. If it's passed off as Stark Industries, I doubt many people would comment." She eats a bit of egg and then smiles at Thor. "Would you prefer peace, or would you prefer honesty in this matter? If you don't hide something like the Bifrost at all, you and your people are unlikely to get any peace at all." She watches the man as he heads out, looks curious at the hammer leaping to hand, and continues to eat her eggs. "Take care, Thor. When you are ready, we'll be here."

Slipstream has posed:
"It'd definitely give you some legal authority in space also. Shooting down Stark Tech is kinda law-suitable." Drake says with a nod as he turns the camera off, then goes about sending out the encrypted video to the team, and even CC's Thor on it. He's pretty sure he checks his email.

"Oh! Um... you're leaving. Take care, bro! Let's get a drink sometime!" He says as he hops to his feet and makes his way to the fridge to dig through it and find something to put a sandwich together.
