Cast of Characters: Storm, Black Panther

Storm has posed:
Ororo Munroe is in the garden of the Xavier schoolgrounds, tending to the garden. It's her hobby, being groundskeeper. She is walking through the roses, clouds of mist forming in her wake to gently soak the delicate blooms. Sne then goes to lean against a hickory tree that's been ailing of late. "Feeling better?" she muses as she pats it. "The new fertilizer's heling, I see..." she murmurs.

Black Panther has posed:
While some play at gardener, others approach with business in mind. A pair of black SUV's with a yellow Wakanda flag mounted in pairs on the hoods roll down the drive approaching the manor. ( https://goo.gl/HmtM6S ) They pause at the gates, and the one in lead honks once.

Storm has posed:
Ororo Munroe stares at the SUVs and the flag. "Can it be?" she whispers as she heads towards the gate even as the gates open - you were expected after all. She stands by the driveway, wondering what the reactino will be. There aren't many women with her combination of hair and skin (none alive, actually) so it's probably easy to be recognized. She waits to see if what she thinks will happen will.

Black Panther has posed:
The SUV's roll through the gates and pull up to the house. Several dark men in darker suits and sunglasses, spill out of the vehicles. Then out of the second one, another man exits the vehicle, looking around from behind darkened sunglasses. But as Ororo pulls around the corner, visible.. he pauses. One hand comes up and he removes his glasses, and his eyes can be seen, widening as he recognizes her. Not many women with stark white hair walking around. "Mwanga kidogo?" He asks her, eyes narrowing to gauge her response.

Storm has posed:
Ororo Munroe nods as she murmurs, "Nyeusi paka." She then walks over to you andgives the king of Wakanda a hug. "It has been too long..." she murmurs, quite aware that your entourage's tension probably went up but not caring. "I live here now, with Xavier. I teach at his school."

Black Panther has posed:
T'challa tenses as well at the unexpected hug. But after a moment of surprise he relaxes and embraces the Storm Godess tightly. Inhaling that particular scent of hers and memories come flooding back. Memories of old freinds reunited. And more. He smiles as he pushes himself back, and in Bantu he replies easily. "Panther if you please.. I've never brought you bad luck." He teases. "Last I saw you.. you were what.. 15 and wild. We were chasing each other around the savanna while I was on holiday from Oxford. Drove my chaperones mad."

Storm has posed:
Ororo Munroe nods. "Indeed... that's when I believed I was a goddess... and then 4 years later we met in Oxford... when I was much better educated - and much less likely to pickpocket you just because I could," she muses. "I do believe our second encounter was far better tahn the childish first." She shrugs. "And now... we meet again. And... you're now the King of Wakanda I see? What brings you to our shores... Your Majesty?" she asks.

Black Panther has posed:
T'challa scowls at her. "For you little light.. I am and always will be T'challa. "I have been King for a number of years now. But I was not ready. Advisors and regents watched over my poeple until I was. But yes.. To the matter at hand. " He says and reaches back over his shoulder. A man waiting for just that hands him a thick envelope stamped with old style wax, with the Wakanda seal. "I wish to speak to your Professor Xavier. I wish to make a donation to the school here. An investment in the future generations. So that it can continue to help those who need it the most." He tells her and hands over the envelope. If she teaches, surely she is trustworthy. and he knows he considers her trustworthy.

Storm has posed:
Ororo Munroe nods. "I will see that it is delivered to him as soon as possible." She glances. "Your donation is appreciated, T'challa. It's people like you that ensure that we can continue to offer tuition-free education to all young mutants. Are you planning on staying a while?" she asks. "Or do you have to leave so soon? Surely your country can wait a few days...?" she asks. "We have a lot of catching up to do."

Black Panther has posed:
T'challa hesistates at her question. "I... I should be going. The duties of King are never ending. Especially a king of a nation that everyone wants a peice of. But.. I would enjoy catching up. Perhaps we can meet halfway? Come to my Embassy in New York. As close to Wakanda as you can get without boarding a plane. I will have my schedule re-arranged so that we may talk undisturbed. Is that acceptable?"

Storm has posed:
Ororo Munroe nods. "Fair enough. Pick a time and a place and I'll be there. I've walked by it a few times, always wondering if you were there." She nods slowly. "I will make sure this gets to where it needs to go. Farewell, my Panther."

Black Panther has posed:
T'challa blinks at her use of 'My' Panther.. but smiles. She always was hard to keep up with. Even for him. "Farewell for now Little Light." His business concluded, as the Wakandan bonds totaling 10 Million in that envelope should keep the lights on for a while.. He lets his entourage usher him back into the SUV's and drive away, but he does turn and look back at her through the rear glass.

Storm has posed:
Ororo Munroe just watches you, sending a breeze of rosepetals to swirl around the vehicle you're in, as she watches you depart. She nods slowly as she carries the envelope into the building.
