A quiet birthday celebration

Synopsis:	Megan visits Conner for her birthday.

Pixie has posed:
Woow has it been an entire year since her last birthday? Funny how those seem to just keep popping up! Either way, Megan knew she had to be careful about letting Conner join her on school property (Apparently there are things worse than detention!).

So she had agreed to meet him at the Titans tower instead. Of course she's a bit hesitant, even if Red Robin was pretty open about her coming there. They seemed so much less secretive than the school which is actually a pretty nice feeling.

So some 30 minutes later she arrived at the door, ringing the bell or, whatever they might have to inform residents of visitors. Sure she could port in but that would just be rude..

Superboy has posed:
Conner remembers fondly that birthday party a year ago. Megan and he had just starting dating. Everything was new between them. And there was a pretty large party at Evolutions. He expected another big party this week (or weekend) so he was a bit surprised when Megan said she wanted to spend the afternoon with him alone.

So, he invited her to the Titans tower. Because it is a more interesting place than his apartment. And if she changes her mind, maybe a few of the Titans would be up for a party. And besides, they can teleport anywhere they want.

Megan calling from the shore's 'bell' to get into the island was a bit silly. But he told her to fly to the Tower's gate and met him there. She is an authorized visitor, after all.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn will likely have a bigger party later, but she really didn't seem to get much alone time with him lately. Besides the Titans tower is pretty cool. Maybe she'll get to meet some other Titans this time too!

Of course, receiving the message, she does fly to said gate, peering though, "Heey Conner, you there?"

Superboy has posed:
Conner steps out, and flies to meet Megan, taking her hand. "Happy birthday, beautiful," he greets, pulling her down and inside the tower. "No big music party at Evo this year? Not that I am complaining if I have you for myself the whole day. Just that you have a lot of friends. And Robin and the others, they are not here at the moment."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles brightly, stepping towards him and hugging him tightly. "Hi! I thought maybe we could get in some private time first! We can always have a public party later or tomorrow, right?" she seems to be in good spirits as she follows him into the tower. "Robin seems pretty cool, I hope I get to meet your other team mates later too!" but of course she seems eager for some alone time first. Because life can be busy and she never seems to get much time with him?

Superboy has posed:
"Well, then you get your wish," replies Conner, smirking faintly, and returning the hug. "No one else at the tower at the moment, we get it all for ourselves. At least for a couple hours." And although she has been here before, it was mostly to train unarmed combat with Red Robin, so Conner is pretty sure she doesn't know most of the place. Heading for the rec rooms, then.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles and nods, "Yeah..Working with the Xmen plus first year college was pretty exhausting. So since we only get to study there for one year, I'm transferring to another college next semester." she shrugs and sighs, peering around. "But hey, at least the Mutant Cure fiasco is over..Sooo what you you wanna do?" she wriggles her brows at him playfully.

Superboy has posed:
"It is your birthday, so your pick," Conner is easily amused, but the truth is if he gets his way no one would see Megan until the next morning. And he is aware that would not be optimal for her social life. Birthdays when one is nineteen are a delicate balance between your fun and everyone else's fun.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smirks, not really minding spending the rest of the night with him as she wraps her arm around his. "Soo how about a quick tour of your room, then maybe later you can show me the rest of the tower if it's not too late!" seems she's feeling pretty bold tonight, bit quite as shy as before

Superboy has posed:
"Oh yes," Conner is quit to go with that idea. "At least you should know where it is, for teleportation in the future," he leads the girl towards the elevator. "Although perhaps you could get your own place here. I know there has been talk about expanding the roster. Kara had some plans, but she had to attend personal matters."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles, following him along. "Oooh, that makes it easier, if you're okay with me randomly popping up out of the blue and surprising you!" she giggles and seems especially hyper tonight. Probably had too much sugar again. Another thoughtful nod is given. "I mean, it shouldn't co promise interests the way it would with the Avengers.." she makes a face at that, apparently having narrowly missed unpleasant business in that respect before.

Superboy has posed:
Conner shrugs. Do the X-Men have rules against being in two teams? He remembers some X-Men have been Avengers. Rogue for sure. Was Beast the other one, years ago.

"Well, I don't want to get you into trouble. Not that kind of trouble." Conner's room is on the top floor. Most of the rooms are there. Better view. "Now, other kinds of trouble..." he says, sliding closer for a kiss

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles, "I think it was more that the Avengers and Xmen have been at opposition with each other before, and Mr Summers didn't want me sharing information with them without his permission." she shrugs, "Guess I got a bit too comfy, you know, with Doctor Strange teaching me magic and giving me a few lessons, and I fought alongside Thor and Ironman a couple of times.."

Superboy has posed:
"And you are bad, very bad at keeping secrets," reminds Conner. Although he is smiling. "Yeah, you told me about that. You want more magic lessons. Or at least more ways to learn magic. You are good with it, so... yeah."

Conner: Very bad with magic.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles a bit, blushing even as she follows him down the hall. "Yeaaah, I know..But, what can you do? Anyway, I met this other guy..Well actually he's like, a god, THE god of the seas, Poseidon. He said he'd help me too.." she smirks, "Funny thing is, every time I meet him he has to rescue me from some crazy mishap.."
