Winter Soldier has posed:
Mission Accomplished.

Those are the words that Bucky chimed in his head after taking out another target. HYDRA loyalist. No family, no pets, working a simple 9-5er, but had the information that Bucky needed. Another HYDRA agent scratched from the list, and the world is a (slightly) better place. Though why doesn't he feel better?

He hasn't felt any better since becoming his own man again. He bears the guilt of the past, the pain of the suffering he's caused. He fully intends to make amends, but...well, one thing at a time.

Hell's Kitchen was a crap place to be, especially for pieces of dirt like him. So, he wore a dark leather jacket with a red shirt underneath it, simple blue jeans, and combat boots. He wears a baseball cap, Yankees, on his head that looks well-worn. Of course, gloves on his hands to help hide the metal arm. He walks through the street, before he eventually decides to sit down on a bench and lean back against the wall. A deep breath taken as he keeps an eye on his environment.

He's tired. Like he hasn't slept in days.

Ivory has posed:
Why there's a stray cat in Hell's Kitchen is a question nobody would ask on a normal day. Or even an abnormal day, because strays were normal in that art of town. On the other hand, most strays were not well kept persian cats, especially not white ones. Though the one stalking down the sidewalk does sport a limp on the right front leg. Though there also was some kind of collar around the neck, the long fur tied in some in that area. So was it just an outdoor cat?

As it passes the guy with the yankee cap, the cat stops, looking up at him some long moments, the eyes blinking in an unspoken question

Winter Soldier has posed:
Bucky breathes slowly, and keeps his eyes ahead of him, but...well, imagine his surprise when a small animal decides to creep up next to him and seems to be quietly asking him a question. Bucky just lowers his eyes enough to stare back at the cat. He doesn't appear to be aggravated by the cat's presence, but he does seem a little confused on why this cat seems to like him.

"You tired too?"

A simple question for such a simple scenario. For all he knows, this cat just wants another treat or two.

Ivory has posed:
The cat blinks again, eying the man up and down, before returning to his eyes. Tired? Maybe. But for sure it doesn't put weight on the right front paw as it stands there. The mystery of cats, never answering straight.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Bucky just stares at the cat.

He makes no movement or gesture towards the cat at all, but he does look like he's about to get back up and keep walking.

"Right, well...maybe if you go down the street you'll find some better chow." he informs the cat, otherwise not making too much of a gesture to communicate with the cat too much.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory answers the look with a slow blink again. The understanding, waiting blink of a cat. But no movement to follow that direction. Instead, the head tilts, the paws moging a little as the cat moves a little closer.

The feet shift till the head is looking up from right below Mr. Barnes, the head tilted to the back, the weight again not on the right front paw.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Bucky maintains his eye contact with the cat, even as the animal moves closer to him. He friend a little bit as he's pawed at a little bit.

"Fine."

he reaches down, intending to pick up the cat and move it to his lap. "Could use the break anyways." he mentions with a sigh.

Ivory has posed:
The cat lets him pick them up, the head rubbing into Bucky's right elbow. The collar doesn't carry a tag, the geometric patterns on it pretty abstract but unique. A little content purr mixes in just a little later.
