Synopsis: Rogue makes breakfast and talks to Emma about not-so-secret camp plans. They're joined by an Alice and Jeremy for a spell.
Cast of Characters: Rogue, Emma Frost, Red, SpyderByte

Rogue has posed:
It's early morning, with the sun likely only barely peeking over the horizon and a sleepless Rogue is up and doing something she's likely rarely seen doing. Cooking. The loner X-Man has a couple of pans going, and the kitchen is filled with the scents of bacon, maple, and sugar. Though she's only one person, she's likely considering the size of the school and who may or may not be early risers or lured by the scents of delicious foods because there's already a few plates of bacon, pancakes, and scrambled eggs - and she's making more as she stands at the stove.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma slinks into the room like a ghost. A very pretty ghost, but there's a decided lack of spring to her step. But there's a shuffle, her body wrapped in a long white bathrobe, hair covered by a towel wrapped around her head, and she's wearing a pair of exceedingly plush bunny slippers that she seems to barely notice. She's drawn like a magnet towards the awaiting food, mumbling out, "Rogue, you are now my favorite. My absolute and eternal favorite." Her voice is a touch hoarse, but mostly just tired.

Red has posed:
Who's up when the sun creeps over the horizon? Alice is in some way, working her way down the stairs from the dorms with weary eyes. The first way goes to the coffee machine as she shuffles over to it, lifting a hand to the others. "Miss frost... Miss Rogue..." she greets the two with an extra nod, drawing extra cups from the shelf to make some extra ones. "How you take yours?" she adds.

SpyderByte has posed:
Heading into the kitchen is the senior and technopath that is Jeremy. The young Goth is wearing a long sleeved black shirt, his black bondage pants with bright blue chains hanging off his hips and his black hair sprawled across his face. He even has a choke chain around his throat. He has a bleary look upon his face as he pushes his thin glasses up along the bridge of his nose, shuffling over to the fridge to open it up and take out a large energy drink. He cracks it open with a hiss and takes a long sip.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue glances over to Emma and gives the woman a smile. "Am I? I guess I'll be everyone's favorite who comes in and grabs some grub." This offered before she finishes plating up some more crispy bacon and flapjacks before turning off the stove cause there's likely enough for all of those in the kitchen now plus a few more. Her attention goes to Alice and she shakes her head. "There's a nice pitcher of sweet tea that Sam's kept decently topped off and it's callin' my name..." Then she glances to Jeremy, eyes his outfit, mentally approves and looks back to Emma. "Glad to finally be in your presence. Got told some info by a little birdie, figured I'd toss a couple'a ideas your way regardin' it..."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma piles up a few choice slices of crisp bacon, three pancakes, a healthy helping of eggs, and begins to consume them with a mixture of dainty pride and hungover absolute need. But she's alert enough to lift a hand in a wave to Alice, "Black as night and as strong as Piotr?" She fades back into ravenous consumption until she lifts her eyes up to offer another wave to Jeremy as he arrives, "Good morning, dear." And her eyes roll to Rogue, eyebrows lifting, "Oh my. Well, of course dear... I mean, you being my favorite and all, I'm at your disposal."

Red has posed:
"Tea? Well, what everyone wants." Alice notes to Rogue before working at making a good old black espresso with the monster of a machine in front of her. Steam, and hissing follow before the smell of heated beans come from the cup and a little later she offers that one to Emma. "Here, that's as dark as that machine can do. Not sure if it can kick Colossus though." With a little smile she then works on her own, brushing through her hair. Still barefoot, she searches her pockets, tugging a pair of plastic chunks from it. "What kinda day is today? Red or green?"

SpyderByte has posed:
Taking another long sip of his drink, Jeremy heads over and gives the toaster oven a gentle patting on the top, leaning forward to whisper to it under his breath. With a quiet giggle, he blows some hair away from his face.

<< Hello. Did you do that thing I told you to do? >>

That is directed towards Emma as he leans in against the counter with a slight slouch to his body.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue looks herself over, and for the moment she's in a long sleeved sleep shirt that proclaims she woke up like this, sweatpants, black gloves that go up to the middle of her forearm and close-toed slippers. Everything she's wearing is grey colored except for her gloves and the lettering on her shirt is black. Still she answers, "Green. It's a green day." And then smirks. "Which is also a good band." And then she nods at herself before taking a breath and looking to Emma. "Something about a camp, and possible activities and such. There might even be a location we're already scouting out for possible availability. I dunno how hush hush you need or want it to be but..." She shrugs then and begins to fix herself a plate of eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma shrugs lightly to Rogue and grins crookedly, if a little tiredly, "Oh! I don't think it's too much of a secret, I mean, the students will have to find out before we make the trip. Activities are good. Do they involve beanbags? I hear beanbags are important." Sehe looks over to Jeremy and winks, "Why, darling, as soon as we finished speaking! Certainly before I went out for dinner with Jean." She points to Alice and nods her head, "Rogue's right. Definitely a green day. I'm not sure if she's right about the band, not really my style of music." She sighs then, taking a deep drink of coffee. Maybe it couldn't beat up Colossus, but it appears to be just what she needs.

Red has posed:
Alice nods slowly, tucking the red chunk of plastic back into the pocket of her sweater and dropping the green one to the floor, stepping onto it with the left bare feet. "Hush hush? Camp? Trip? Comeon, you aren't going camping, are you?" The block under the foot starts to melt, flowing up around the foot and encasing it in tendrils, others reaching over to the right foot, a webbing between them. Green plastic webbing that slowly creeps up the legs to shape boots. Her specialty. "My style of band is a non-colored jewish holiday, so no idea about the green day," she remarks with a little chuckle, pointing to the coffee machine. "You want one too Jeremy?"

SpyderByte has posed:
Giving a nod of his head towards Emma, Jeremy continues to sip on his drink before he puts a pair of pieces of bread into the toaster oven, then taps the controls on the front. He doesn't use the toaster, which would be more efficient. The chains along his pants jingle and jangle as he moves in his slow, methodical manner. His voice when he speaks comes out of his phone strapped to his arm.

<< You're welcome then. >>

That was sent to Emma as he gives her a tilt of his head upwards.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue shakes her head. "Not really a secret then. Alright. Well Hank looked up some places and we think we found one. Dani and Nightcrawler were going to go check it out. I was helping come up with some ideas. Beanbag games are one thing. Trails for hiking and horseback riding are another. Obstacle courses for those who wish to do physical training and the like..." She offers further and then smiles. "We can talk about it. I have ideas. And I think it's a great thing to be offering for both the students here and other mutants who need a safe space to be for a while."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma bobs her head as she drains her coffee, eyes closing as she listens to the list, sighing out, "Oh! Yes, I suppose some of the students are likely going to want to keep being serious and not just... you know, escape our rigid yet benevolent schoolyear structure." She pauses for a moment, "Maybe a dock if this place has a lake. Some canoes. A jetski?" She clicks her tongue and murmurs,"Oh! Yes! The horseback riding! Dani mentioned that I believe. I do need to hook up with her to cover some of that."

Red has posed:
"How about the classics for summer camp? Archery, dress up and bottle spinning?" Alice throws in, picking up her own blend of coffee, milk and suggar to drink it. "But jetski sounds nice too." As the green polymer forms shoes, it becomes apparent that today's boots consift of an open webwork hugging the legs with gaps. "Fuffy bunnies, hmm Miss Frost?"

SpyderByte has posed:
After his toast is done warming up, Jeremy slides it out on to a napkin so not to burn his fingers. He takes another sip of his drink and heads out as he shambles out the door, looking to head off to his first class.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue taps her nose at Alice and nods. "Aye, Emma. Dani seemed really excited about being able to find something that can accomodate horses...." She offers this and then looks to Jeremy who makes a quick and silent exit stage left. Interesting. Still, she moves to set her plate down on a nearby counter and then goes about fixing herself a glass of that sweet iced tea she was talking about. "I gotta go see Hank today for a bit of work, I might see if he'll shoot me the deets on that spot he helped find."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma bobs her head with a soft laugh, "Yes, well, that does make sense. And an equestrian program would be a treat for the non-students, add to the rustic vibe having horses around." She shrugs lightly and murmurs out, "I do need to stop by Hank and welcome him back as it were." She shrugs ot Alice and grins, "Well, I feel like I need to allow the students -some- amount of unwise activity to partake in."

Red has posed:
Alice chuckles at the tap of Rose's nose, fingers clinging to her cup. "And something for the Alumni? I mean, next week Thursday I can buy booze, and I'm like the last cass of college program anyway, so cut me and my classmates some slack, ok?" she remarks, takign a bix sip from her coffee, pointing at those feet covers on Emma "Supervised unvise activity? Like... turning fluffy bunnies into shoes?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue begins munching on food and downing food with sweet tea. After a lingering moment of seeming to think on things she shrugs. "All of that sounds good. Emma, we'll need a list of things to try and fit into the camp. I'll see if I can get you some time with Hank." This much more and then she takes a few more bites of food. "Actually, all of us should maybe sit down and put our heads together and figure things out. I think Jean wants some sort of proposal too, because there's steps we need to take funding wise so no one gets their hands slapped too much." More tea. "Anyway. Ideas. Yes."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma sighs and shakes her head, "I swear, running a school is such a -pain-, corporations are so much easier, you just tell the lawyers you want to do it, and then you throw money at them until they make it legal." She groans softly and bobs her head, "Yeah, we definitely should. Maybe after Dani and Kurt do their first survey of the land, we can all take a roadtrip and brainstorm on the way." She chews her lower lip thoughtfully for a moment, "But I should probably head off and get ready for classes, the tests don't write themselves." She takes her plate and cup over to the sink, depositing them carefully, "You girls stay out of trouble! Or, you know, at least come up with good excuses if I have to ask for them."

Red has posed:
Alice empties her coffee mug before putting that down to the counter. "Well, you're lucky that you won't have to deal with collegians any more after the summer." There's a sigh from her, the fingers raking through the red hair again before she nods to the start to leave. "If you need help, just ask, Miss Frost."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue gives a wave with her fork and smiles. "Alright. Have a good day.." Then she looks to Emma. "We'll talk more later. I should...go find a corner to hide in." She jokes. Kinda. Rogue can tend to be a lurker rather than a social-ite. Plate and glass are snagged and she goes to find someplace to finish breakfast.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma finishes tidying up and gives a downright cheery little whistle, apparently back to normal, if not a bit better. She gives a little wave and makes her way out into the mansion proper with a spring in her step... no doubt off to get ready for the rest of the day.
