An unbroken curse..

Synopsis:	Selina and Spike chat while she recovers

Catwoman has posed:
A few days had passed since Selina had unwittingly stolen a cursed shield and suffered the consequences. Since then, she had been slowly recovering from the mysterious poison that had plagued her body, which had been an achingly slow process..

That also meant taking it easy for the next several days as she waited for the antidote to take effect, and while she was eager to get back to work, Selina wasn't too keen on stealing anymore cursed items.

Tonight finds her out on the spacious balcony enjoying a view of the full moon, dressed in a nightgown over her thin black night shirt. Probably not the best place or attire on a chilly night but she's tired of sleeping all day.

Spike has posed:
While he is usually one for making an entrance, Spike knows she is really not up for it. Instead he comes in and goes to the refrigerator. He places a pouch of blood in there for later. Noting the door to the balcony open he walks up to her and slips his arms around her waist lightly,"Tired of being tired love?" Master of the obvious.

He looks over the view and comments,"There are a lot of other places out there just waiting for you to get better. You know that?" he adds. He knows there is likely hesitation on that, but he also knows the only way to get back into the game is to get up and get back into the thick of it,"Once you're back to a hundred percent."

Catwoman has posed:
Selina Kyle shivers a bit as a sudden cold wind ruffles her short hair. Maybe she's going too quickly but she's never been one for sitting still for very long. Heh, maybe Selina's a crazy action junkie, the kind that doesn't last long because they insist on taking chances too much.

But..She's never been forced to tackle mystical curses before. This is definitely new territory. She is certainly thankful for his presence, smiling softly and leaning back against him. Vampires are not very warm, they do t generally emit much in terms of body heat. However, maybe his clothing keeps her warm as she leans in against him with a slight smirk.

"Hey there, lover boy, how long you been lurking there?" She draws a slow, shaky breath, "Never bungled a job this badly before though, it's...A little embarrassing. I just hope that shield is done with me.."

Spike has posed:
There is a smirk and he pulls her a little closer gently. He leans over to kiss her neck lightly,"I've been here for a bit. Just getting settled in for the night. I had to wander around and remember all the fun I used to have. As long as there is no intent I can stalk people, but that's all."

He takes a deep breath and exhales slowly,"Now I am thinking I need to harass a sexy cat burglar and make sure she gets some food. I don't have many cooking skills, but a few." For now he's content to stand there and watch the night with her close.

Catwoman has posed:
Selina Kyle chuckles, snuggling up against him, enjoying his presence. "Hmm, perhaps that's enough lurking about for tonight.." she smirks, "Do you miss it much? The..'fun'? I'm sure things seem pretty tame these days, yknow, no killing, no feeding, just stealing stuff, helping out kids..Surviving."

Of course some days are better than others. Somedays they're not just surviving but thriving. It's easier when she has a partner in from too of course. "Mmm a vampire who can cook. I'm dying to see this now!" she chuckles, turning around to face him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I know I usually cook the dinners around here but I'd love to try something different..Besides, haven't really been up to it lately, though I'm getting better every day.."

Spike has posed:
"More benefit in lurking around with you." he comments softly and nuzzles her neck with his nose before she turns,"Sometimes sure. I mean though I fight with it, there is a demon inside me. It is difficult to go from being the top of the food chain to the bottom really. I miss the chase, the andrenaline, and the feeling of life and death every night."

He's never been overly concerned with money. If he needed it, he got it. In the old days he'd just kill someone and take theirs if nothing else. He chuckles softly as she turns around to him,"I didn't say I cooked well, just that I had a few tricks." he warns her playfully,"I set up something earlier before I left so all we had to do was cook it." He smirks and adds,"Need to get you all better love, it's too quiet out there without you."

Catwoman has posed:
Selina Kyle smiles sweetly, reaching up to caress his cheek, "Mmm, of course there is love, it's why you came to me, hmm?" she purrs, wriggling her brows playfully at him, knowing that he, like she, is a thrill seeker, a criminal at heart, even if he is not truly evil. There is a thrill in stealing something valuable, knowing you might get caught, but knowing you're good enough not to.

"But it seems I am now in Batman's debt.." she sighs, "It's rather..Embarrassing, really, getting caught red handed like that when I had worked so hard to stay out of his way lately.." she shrugs.

"But, I suppose you dealt with this sort of thing, curses, evil spirits, all the time back in Bludhaven Hmm?"

Spike has posed:
"That's the biggest reason." he teases and hmms as he looks down at her, admiring the view a little,"Well, the second biggest reason." he adds teasingly and the oh yeah, there her eyes are again. He's seen a lot, but there's a kindred spirit in the lady cat burglar.

"I've dealt with all sorts of magic things yes. All over the world too." he admits,"As for the debt...I don't know what to say there. There bloke seems more or less to be on the right side of things, but an insufferable blighter all at once. He reminds me too much of Angel in some ways."

Catwoman has posed:
Selina Kyle chuckles, "Hmm, Batman is a pretty serious solemn guy with no sense of humour. I've yet to meet this Angel guy..Is he a vampire like you?" she chuckles, "Although if he's anything like Bats, I doubt you two will get along."

She sighs, nestling against him, pondering, "So..Now that I've been given the antidote and Bats has contained the shield, you think this is over?"

Spike has posed:
"That's Angel. Too busy brooding to do anything else." he comments,"Yes he's a vampire. Nothing like me thanks. He was cursed by gypsies and his human soul was placed back into his body. The result is years of murder and torture memory with the demon soul gone and a weak willed human soul replaced. He was not a good person really and worse as a vampire before that." he explains,"The soul took him out of the game honestly, but he has managed to...survive."

He shakes his head,"He is my grandsire. He sired Dru and Dru sired me." Clear he doesn't like him much,"So far I hold Batman in the same regard, though he did help you so there's something to consider. I hate that you owe him because that pretty much means I owe him too." He shakes his head and admits,"Once it is returned to where it belongs it will be over. Buffy and her Scoobies are going to have to contend with Bats to get it back and replace it where it belongs for everything to be corrected."

Catwoman has posed:
Selina Kyle chuckles, playfully tickling Spike a bit as he speaks of Angel some more. "Mm, no love lost between you two I guess..I suppose his history with the slayer doesn't help matters much either, hmm?" she grins at him, that impish twinkle still in her eyes.

"Hmm but Bats is a tricky one.lHe is pretty paranoid to begin with, and after this latest stint, he'll be even more paranoid about giving up the shield. I'm not sure he'll be willing to give it up to any one but to the police honestly, so sounds like you'll have your work cut out for you.."

She shivers again, leaning a bit tiredly on him now, the cold is definitely not good for her. "Hmm, it's getting colder, shall we rest a bit inside? I'm getting ready a little..Hungry too.."

Spike has posed:
"No matter what we did, we always vied against each other. We could stand at each other's side to protect the girls, but after that." he admits and turns to walk with her into the main room again. Weather doesn't really bother him, but he does do the unthinkable and slides the coar off his arms and wraps it around her.

"He will come around. Buffy has a way about her. The fact that one landed punch can shatter concrete makes her a little...difficult to stand up to. Still maybe the two can come to a something peacful. I don't know." Walking to the couch he guides her to take a seat and once she's settled he will go to the kitchen to attempt cooking.
