Synopsis: Juggernaut makes a mess - and gets cussed out for it?!
Cast of Characters: Juggernaut, Sandra Billings

Juggernaut has posed:
Mutant Town is no stranger to feuds, fights, brawls and other assorted forms of crime. Of course things have gotten better but there is still the occasional gaffee.

This is especially true among the local bars, dives, strip clubs and the like as they have seen their share with open arguements between various metahumans, mutants and humans often ending up in flashy results. So that a fight is breaking out at the 'Pink Kitten' bar/strip club on one of the street corners isn't an oddity in and of itself..as much as who the fight is involving and what happens next.

A loud *BOOOOM* roars through the area, the ground shaking from a seismic event and windows blowing out in both the strip club as well as the buildings up and down the street around it. A iigure goes smashing through the front of the building to slam into and through several parked cars across the street and then finally slam into a light pole some distance away. The very ground keeps shaking, the intensity worsening until the source is finally seen. An absolutely enormous man, brutish and unshaven with a shock of red hair in an uncut mullet, who looks to actually be growing bigger as he walks with a red hue of crimson energy crackling around him as his muscles pile ontop fo each other in unending mountainous bulks.

He walks forward through the entire front wall of the strip club as if he were walking through..well..a field of grace. The building slides apart behind him, people emptying the place in a panic as the behemoth of a man begins walking down the street towards the brawny grey skinned fellow who was punched several city blocks away. The ground shaking? That's being caused by his footsteps..

His deep voice rumbles, sounding oddly bored and disinterested despite all of the drama. "..You gotta be kidding me.."

Sandra Billings has posed:
Having been settled in a cafe across the street as she waits for the bus stop on her way to work, Sandy is currently sipping at a hot cocoa with a piece of banana bread in front of her. The stocky form of the woman is wearing a pair of fresh scrubs with her hair pulled upwards into a messy bun with a pair of thin glasses on. At the sound of the rumbling the causes the windows to crack and blow out, she throws an arm upwards to ward herself from the shards of glass.

At the sight of a man being thrown across the street and into a car, she scrambles to her feet to abandon her table, stepping out of the shattered window and into the street. She starts over towards the victim, her eyes widened. "Oh my Gosh!" She says as she kneels down next to the man to look him over, hoping that he is still alive. She scrambles for her phone out of her pocket, tapping along the glass quickly to try and summon 911.

"Hey, this is Sandy over at Lennox Hills trauma ward. I need EMS over on .. First and Liberty Avenue..." Her voice trails off as she glances over her shoulder at the sight of Cain coming out of the club. ".. Oh my Stars and Garters."

Juggernaut has posed:
The man is alive and, perhaps amazingly so, actually conscious. A good look at him would probably give hints as to why. He's slightly larger and more muscled then average and grey skinned with a quality about him not unlike concrete. Probably tougher than that, actually. Most likely a mutant, if looking battered and even bloodied now. His eyes blink back into focus and he stares at Sandra and then snaps his attention, along with hers, to the approaching ..much..much..bigger giant.

"You wanna try that again, chum?" rumbles Cain as he lifts a hand up and curls it into a mammoth fist. Knuckles crack, sounding like tree trunks splintering.

"You idiots see me one-shot that stupid MLFer, Forearm, in your fight club and you think you gotta chance against me just cause you're mad about losing so much money and stayin' loyal?"

It is now that he takes note of Sandra and his eyes hood slightly and his arm lowers abit. He notably, however, does not stop approaching but it's more of a steady inexorable approach. A rumbling plod that will take a moment to get him there.

"Get outta the way, lady. Mind your business."

Sandra Billings has posed:
Once she gives the downed man a look over, Sandy clears her throat. "Think we need police presence as well..." Her voice trails off as she tucks her phone into her pocket. She swallows tightly as she rises up to her feet, stepping in front of the gray skinned man as she stares up into the eyes of Cain Marko. She shifts her stance some.

"He's already down, whatever .. um.. happened back there, it's over, okay? You made your point, you hit him across the street. Just walk away. I'm a Doctor and he needs medical attention."

As her chin lowers some, she stares at his large muscles and his swagger, giving a slow curling of her own fingers to crack the joints and knuckles. "I.. I called the cops. So they'll be here.." What are they even going to do?

Juggernaut has posed:
"You can't be serious.." groans Cain as he looks her over and draws closer. His mind does go into overdrive, though. He's got swagger but he's not an experienced mercenary (super criminal, some might say, but whose asking them?) for nothing. In a world of Kryptonian's, Hyperions, Rogue's and Captain Marvels, this little fireplug could very well be containing enough strength to be a nuisance. Only a nuisance. His ego is to big to permit her to be a 'problem'. BUt unlike himself, looks can be deceiving. It still doesn't cause him to slow his roll though. He simply inclines his head curiously.

"What're you, a Super-Person or something? Asgardian? Cause it's not going to matter."

He leans to the side slightly to peer past her to his battered target, "Hey! You gonna let her embaress you like this? She your mom??"

The fallen bruiser just grunts, more concerned about his well being then Sandra's. Nice guy.

Sandra Billings has posed:
"I'm an ER Trauma Ward Nurse. That's all I am. I work at Lennox Hill and I'm on my way to work." Sandy is wearing scrubs after all. "I'm not his mom, but I'm a concerned citizen. You're obviously really, really strong and you proved yourself. Come on, just go. I patch up dozens of kids every night and I'm not even clocked in, so now I gotta work for free. Do me a solid and let me have an easy night?"

She keeps shifting herself in front of Cain, to try and prevent him from moving closer towards the man, just shuffle steps left and right from the chubby woman. She definitely doesn't look like an Asgardian. She looks like a woman in her 30's who has too much weight on with a soft voice.

Juggernaut has posed:
There are..definently chubby Asgardians out there but her lack of aggression is noted. The only problem is, Cain doesn't like being told what to do.

"Exactly. It's your night off and aint nobody asking you to jump in the middle." Cain's expression grows darker and more dour now, "Get out of the way."

He's notably not stopped. He's also not actually -trying- to go around her either so her shuffles are kind of like trying to move back and forth infront of a slow moving incoming train.

And before long he's nearly on her and the guy. A massive hand reaches forward and down with the intention of, not so gently, moving her to the side as he presses forward.

His target, meanwhile, has managed to recover and pull to his feet. He's rapidly getting it back together. Likely enhanced stamina of his own. He doesn't look inclined to step in though, and instead starts to try and move away.

Behind Cain, Sandra can see other roguish mutant types exiting the broken out wall of the club. Also limping along but looking like they're attempting an escape as Cain is distracted.

Sandra Billings has posed:
"I'm not moving." Sandy says as she stands her ground. She feel the ground beneath her anchor as her body shifts some in stance. Much like The Blob (though not as chonky), she has a richer gravity about her. She shifts one foot behind her, then reaches out to grab his arm that sweeps down towards her. He can feel the resistance immediately as the ground splinters beneath her feet. She pushes his hand back away.

"Look, it's obvious that you are the strongest person here. Probably in mutant town and I know almost everyone that lives here. So, you must be new. We have rules here. We respect each other. If you get knocked out, it's over. Respect earned. There's no need for follow up. There's no need to try and beat someone to death."

Her dark eyes narrow a bit as she gives a quick glance over her shoulder to the rocky looking guy. "Get out of here, okay? Go home." As she looks back at Cain, she keeps a firm hold of his arm. "You too, okay? Please?"

Juggernaut has posed:
She's mid speech when her words might get interrupted by a sudden jolt of force as Cain's arm resists being pushed away and his massive frame also brushes into her. The ground splinters apart into cracked and violently chipped pavement as Cain turns more of his attention to her. Unstoppable..means unstoppable, even something like a casual walk or brushing movement. Fortunantely -because- he's being casual about it, it's a rough but not dangerously harmful forced movement of her, especially considering her own durability. She might stumble and even trip and fall but he's hardly wrestling with The Hulk here and so doesn't exert force as if he was.

"Hn. What a surprise. No wonder you stood there. To bad I'm me. Maybe -you- should be in the ring and not in a hospital..."

With his attention more fully on her the thugs -do- take advantage of this and break into a run, stumbling towards an alley to regroup and get clear.

Sandra Billings has posed:
As he starts to walk through her, Sandy backpeddles as she feels her bubble of gravity burst like a wet napkin. She pushes at his arm, letting out a surprised noise as she is easily brushed to the side. "Hey!" She says, finally putting some volume into her chest.

"Seriously! What the hell is wrong with you, man? These guys are just stupid kids. You already proved yourself. Just let them go." Wheeling herself around now that the concrete looking mutant has ran off, she stares up at the red haired Marko with a narrow of her eyes.

"Are you a bully or something? Who are you?"

Juggernaut has posed:
"You're pretty naive aren't you. Or hopeful."

Cain stops, finally. His targets have run off and indeed it's -not- worth it. Maybe he always intended on just scaring them abit more. Maybe he kept the show up just -because- of her interference. Maybe he did intend to beat them into a pulp. But either way he stops when he's ready to stop and not before.

"Nothing's wrong with me. So what, even though they attacked me first and thought they were tough enough to take me down and do some serious damage, I gotta be the bully because I just happened to be stronger and fought back? They were getting what they deserved and now get to harass someone else if they feel like it? That what it is?"

Truth is, he -is- the bully. He knows he's the biggest and strongest guy around but that doesn't mean anything as far as he sees it. "Sometimes biting off more then you can chew means taking a hard hit. You gonna lecture a semi truck for hitting someone that jumps infront of it?"

There's a pause and the huge man slowly grins, looking more like when The Grinch smiled in that cartoon. So not friendly looking, "Don't worry about who I am."

Sandra Billings has posed:
"I'm going to lecture the fucking driver of the semi truck who hit the smaller car if they're not paying attention to the road and slamming on the gas while texting from their phone. They may have been in the wrong, but you whipped their ass and destroyed a business. I may not be a fan of the strip club, but people work there and here in Mutant Town they don't have great insurance. I called the cops, where are they?" Sandy says as she motions with her hand. "No one comes out here to help them. There's a reason why some of them act out the way they do, because no one gives a shit about them."

"And you can't just beat the crap out of people until they can't move. Sometimes you gotta suck it up and respond back with kindness, or love, because some of these people have never seen it. Not from their parents, not from their peers, definitely not from society. It's easy to walk around here looking like the Hulk without the green tint and your red mullet and your truck sized fists, but to a guy like Charles you knocked into that car? He can't even get work. He acts like a thug because he doesn't know what else to do."

"Maybe just trying to calm down a situation instead of busting up the block. Look at all these windows! That's so much money these people don't have. That cafe? They had nothing to do with your fight. The old lady who runs the place can't get a loan. She puts every penny into this place to stay afloat."

Giving her head a shake, she reaches down and grabs the car, hefting it up and straightening it out, then starts down the street. "Whatever." She says with an exasperated noise in her throat.

Juggernaut has posed:
"Hey!" protests Cain as Sandra begins.

"Watch your mouth!" Language missy.

To his credit, he lets her go on and on at him and in all fairness, in the back of his mind he knows this and there is perhaps a tinge of some regret ..buried behind the haze that is the burning power and influence of Cyttorak..

"Alright, already. You made your point. Go write a book already."

He raises an eyebrow as she hefts the car up and sets it upright and begins to walk down the street. He stays put. Seemingly unmoved. This is a man who will collapse a building in a bar fight just because he was annoyed into the fight, after all..

He stays still before eventually turning to walk back towards the strip club.

As he nears it, the workers - the only ones who remain after the place cleared out, look to notice him and seize up in fear.

He continues approaching and then reaches into his pockets to produce a large wad of cash. He presses it down onto the cracked bar and rumbles, "Use this to help cover the damages and windows. It's alot.."

And with that, he turns and begins to make his way back out through the hole in the wall..and down the streets in the opposite direction of Sandra.
