Synopsis: Friends made?
Cast of Characters: Sunspot, Willow Rosenberg

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa escorts you to the restaurant, its a popular pizza place but Berto has a standing table. Berto escorts you to the table. The restaurant is busy doing abrisk business. It also has bar service."Berto takes it uponhimself to order a large puzzarustica and a pitcher of a local brew on tap. "Everyone at the office always talks about how good this place is."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow was filled with awe. "Did you call ahead and book this table?" She looks at the pizza and smiles. "You remembered!" Yep, no meat! Mind you he could have brought two pizzas and his could have his with meat. "You know, I think I'll have some beer. One beer."

Lately she'd been having a drink or two.

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles, "Something like that." Berto takes a hand wash the. takes the plates and serves us both, two slices a peice. Then poyrs us each a pint glass of beer. He hand you a glass and toasts you, "To Magic, the everyday kind. So, whats Superman really like?

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Superman?" Willow giggles. "See? That's what I'm talking about." Still, she thinks, and drink a little beer while she thinks. "He's actually quite normal. Maybe a little bit shy. Very gentlemanly. And always made sure that the least of the team still felt important. I like him. I made chocolate chip cookies for everyone in the watchtower, but really for him."

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles and sips his beer, eatting some of the pie. He keeps your glass full. Watching him its pretty clear he doesnt have the least care about Superman hes concetrating on you. "So, this Buffy seems kinda of a lot?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Buffy.

What can she say about her? "She's my bestest friend. But, I guess, she is a little bit in your face." Willow was very particular how she puts it. "The Slayer has to be larger than life. So she is. Not like me. I'm kinda wishy-washy? Something like. But that's all right. I mean nobody knows the Magic user and her Slayer, do they!"

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa frowns, "Thats not true at All. I mean Gandalf, Merlin, Stephen Strange, ScarletWitch, Illyana. All super well known, even the ancient one. Sounds to me like someone takes advantage?

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"But they don't have a Slayer. Well, perhap Gandalf.. but he still was the BIG wizard. Buffy is the BIG slayer. Without Buffy we'd be in trouble. I don't mind, really." Well, maybe a titch. "It's not that I mind, but sometimes I'm with the group, and I think if I were in the same situation, but I was with the Justice League, I think I would be looked up to a little more than that. I opened one side of the portal to Acropolis with them. It's.. not their fault. I just don't understand my position, I guess? I'm training though! I found myself a teacher!"

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles and nods, "No one really knows what Gandalf had up his sleeves. Im not sure I believe that no one is replaceable. We all have a role to play and we muddle through as best we can. I will say that its easy for friends to not understand how we grow and change. To see who we become. Tell me more about this teacher?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"I think.." Begins Willow while working on a slice, "Everybody has a different place in the group. Kinda what Goffman says. It's hard for us to break out of those roles. Only, I don't want to remain Willow, fresh faced, wholly innocent, and naive."

She peered at her beer, and frowned. Curious.. Still she took another drink.

"Her name is Tala." Willow told him the barest about her teacher. "Really, right now she's assessing me. What are my strengths, and what are my weaknesses, so she can direct my lessons accordingly."

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa nods and listens and smiles, wondering who Goffman is. "I don't doubt that it's hard, these roles have momentum for us, and they're comfortable for the group. It's comfortable for our friends to see us a certain way, and limit us to that box, it requires less thinking on their part. I've always been one to seek connections, to see new links, it probably has a lot to fo do with how my power function, and the possbilities there in." Berto shrugs, with a smile and takes a bite of pizza and drains his own glass, calling for another pitcher. Berto makes a note of the name and may remember to ask a certain demon sorceress about her but it means nothing to him short of context, "Be careful being assessed always sounds like a grift to me, though I guess that's what Business school was doing when I applied."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"You don't look old enough to be a graduate and run your own company.. Are you sure?" For the first time Willow *looked* at him, and wondered did she actually have a job? Maybe she really was that gullible. Yes, the beer was taking effect.

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles and shrugs, "I know, but I am the most attractive billionaire on the planet. Well, top three, apparently some women really like bald." He shrugs and laughs maybe a little too loudly at his own joke. "I have an MBA from the London School of Business, the only Business school with a course in extradimensional contracts. And I am the CEO of DaCosta International and X-Corporation, my face has been on magazines, google me!" Roberto may also have over imbibed, as he fills both glasses again. He then pulls put out his wallet and lays a pair of cards on the table before going back to his pizza. "Just google me, you'll see."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow holds her hand up. "One moment."

Well, he did say to look him up!

Opening up her satchel, she pulled out her laptop, and looked him up. And looked him up further..

"Ooooooooohhhhh.." Her cheeks flushed. "You really are him. And you have thousands" Billions. "of dollars." She is fairly incapable of wrapping her mind around billions of dollars. Mathematics, yes. 1,000,000,000. But money?? "I should go now.. uhm.. is the job still mine?"

Embarrassment and beer were vying for supremacy at the moment.

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles and is thoroughly amused by this, he watches her intently looking him up, completely without an air anything, he rests his chin in his hand eatting pizza, "I am. Billions, yes, I do. Oh, I was hoping you'd stay but if you insist. Absolutely." He smiles at you his positively glint with mischief, " and I would be very willing to investigate your reputation as both innocent and naive." He just watches you, for a moment wholly engrossed, unable to look away, "... you are adorable. I can call you a car, make sure you get home safe?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Well, I've done.. you know.. Stuff. I'd had boyfriends and girlfriends before." Willow protests her innocence. (Rather ineffectively might I add.)

When he calls her 'adorable' her face falls. "That's all I am, aren't I? Adorable." Her Facebook was open, and she begins to flip around her profile. Yep. Adorable . Naive. Innocence. All peeking at her. Softly, "I really needed this job."

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles and his voice is calm and soft, reassuring even, he takes her hand in his, "You have the job. It's yours. I assure you, as for being adorable... it is a most beguiling trait." He takes a breath, "The fact that you are open minded enough to have explored both tells me that your innocence is just a temporary state. I have never had a boyfriend but I have been with men, though much more often with women, I'm willing to help you explore any aspect of your sexuality, you wish, of course there are aspects to innocence we can explore if you're interested? I mean I've taken a thousand year old psychic vampire as a lover, I have a bit of experience."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"They're all the same to me. Boys. Girls. It's like the package around the real treat. Some days it's boys coloured, some days it's girl coloured. But under the package they're a person who is wonderful no matter what they are." Willow is very serious about this, but has to giggle about the vampire. "I can't seem to get away from them. How come you aren't with her any longer?"

The laptop is closed, but remains on the table. The pizza still looks delicious, and she only had one piece..

*snag!*

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles, mentally counting slices and makingvsure you have enough, My mutation means that I can sate her hunger without damage, when most she feeds from are drained to corpses." Roberto shrugs, watching you eat,he is not is as intent on filling your glass. "She actually maintains quite the harem. But its purely sexual and that can get ... boring after a while. Its not quite as exciting once you've been on all the rides."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
That makes sense.. sorta.
Munching on her pizza, and forgetting all about her embarrassment, Willow talks with her mouth half full. "Buffy's boyfriend is like that. Apparently being a Slayer makes him sated, and she loves him.. Oh, I guess it might help if I said he was an incubus.."

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa laughs hard and coughs. he nearly chokes, shaking his head, "I had a teammate, she was corrupted by a demon, lost most of her soul. I had a huge crush on her as a teen. Its why I took the course in extra dimensional contracts... I think theres a way to win it back, there must be, right?" Berto looks a little plaintive.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Really?" Willow tilts her head. "I had a couple of loves in highschool - oh, not at the same time. They hold a little bit of my heart, but I'm not the same person that I was then. I think Oz was the closest to real love, and yet.." She shakes her head. "We have changed. I mean, he returned, saying he loved me, but really, he was in love with the past. Maybe I didn't give him a chance, but I didn't miss him. Do you think I should have given him another chance?"

She finishes her beer, looking very thoughtful.

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa shakes his head a bit wistfully, "While I am quite well versed in exploring ones sexuality, and shedding innocence. iI am not one to give relationship advice. I cannot say, but to trust yourself."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow puts her slice down, and picks at it. "I guess not. Can you answer something? When you were exploring your sexuality, was it just sex, or was it more?"

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa blushes just a bit at the directness of the question, He also puts aside food and focuses on Willow, pausing for a moment, "When my powers first emerged, there was a situation and the girl I was with, whom I thought with my whole heart that I loved, was killed, she was shot." He pauses and considers, "It hurt me very deeply, I mean I'm not sure it was true love or that it would have survived but... it was the possibility. Anyway, for years afterwards I wasn't open to caring for someone, I also didn't have the best role models. My Mom and Dad has a toxic relationship, I mean I shared a lover with Dad in high school." He raises his eyebrows and just shakes his head at the thought. " It was about pleasure and beauty and dominance. I had normal, well, normal for this life friends at school, which helped overall and while it wasn't just sex, it certainly wasn't love."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Eww?" Willow says, then thinks about it. "Maybe it's different with guys. I don't know. I can't imagine sharing a lover with my mother. Or my dad. Yuck!" And as if to cement it, she shudders. To be fair, Willow has stereotypical Jewish parents, complete with matching pajamas - old pajamas - to boot.

He story touches a nerves though.

"I fell in love with a demon. Moloch. I don't talk about him much, pretending it's because I am embarrassed, but really I miss him. Even though he's bound in hell, and I have to send him back again, I miss him."

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles and headtilts, "Your friends have no idea do they? that's not the mark of an innocent." He lets that sit for a moment as he takes a sip of his beer and another slice, "It is different for men, in that the act of sex is in some places as much about power as it is love or even pleasure. My Father was controlling my power by sharing my lover, the fact she was gorgeous and uninhibited didn't hurt, but the whole relationship was never about love."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"No, I imagine not. But the one before her was." Willow picked all the items off her pizza. "I think that Buffy had a clue. She saved me. I loved him, not so that other way around. At least I don't think so."

It may be why she has helped people like Angel. Giving a new chance at life, by giving him a soul.

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa grins, "You're picking all the veggies off your pizza? Is it not good?" He sighs and nods, "Yes, that is true, and there were a few that slipped by the shields I made to protect my heart... and there was Illyana, the demon girl, but I wonder if the impossibility made it an easy choice? A coward's way out to love the unattainable?" Berto shrugs, "We were, are at least friends. And she remains a stalwart ally, though we thought her lost." Berto considers, "We do share an attraction to impossible relationships."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow looks into the plate where she has been picking all the veggies off, and giggles. "Oops? I was so deep in thought.." And carefully begins eating them.

"I don't know if your way is bad? I haven't tried since highschool. I mean, zip, zero, zilch. At least you can say you were avoiding. Me? Not even. Besides.. well.. who were you avoiding? Or is it a global avoidance."

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa smiles and considers that, "in the moment sort of a global avoidance, yes, but now, it's more a learned absence. I've been trying to make connection but sometimes as you say, your friend have a way of seeing you, you have a way of seeing yourself and perhaps you need someone from outside to see you in a different light. Take yourself Willow, you do not seem innocent to me, a bit naive perhaps and not as worldly as some. But hardly the ingenue you paint yourself. Your friends tend to protect you and perhaps you need to get out on your own a bit more, I think this job will be good for you. Your magical skills have gained the attention of the Titans and the League, you've dated demons, girls, boys, an absence of bad decisions is not a lack of experience."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow eats a few more items before answering. "And maybe you should try to be happy, I mean really happy, instead of just pretending? Forget about love, be happy. Love will come."

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa is caught off guard and laughs, then smiles, "Touche. I will try. So, are you still taking the job?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Her head still was a bit woogie from the beer, but Willow nods. "If you are still offering, yes please!" A pause. "Is it ok if I use my.. you know.. occasionally?"

Sunspot has posed:
Roberto Da Costa nods, and smiles, "I would encourage it, in fact I would love it if you could educate me, maybe on the side? But no, we don't have a policy against it, why would we?" He laughs, "I am still offering, I can have them wrap this up for you and get you a car, no one should have to commute this late" He smiles and titls his head, "Let me walk you to the door, and I will see you when you start, or if you want to go out before then, give me a call. You've got my card."
