The Farm: Call to Action
Date of Scene: 07 May 2021
Location: Remote Ontario, Canada
Synopsis: The X-Men fly to Ontario to remove a Mutant 'Farm' that has been attempting to kidnap superpowers for experiments. They found a new face amongst the rubble.
Cast of Characters: Cyclops, Havok, Phoenix, Prismatic, Rogue, Juggernaut, Lucas Farmer

Cyclops has posed:
It's near midnight when the Blackbird touches down a few miles away from the location that was given to them by Juggernaut. Having had Spyder Byte pull up an aerial view of the terrain so that the team can familiarize themselves with the area and map out the safest route to the facility, it seems that everyone has a 'plan'.

The air is crisp, and the terrain is free of snow or poor weather. Ontario in May is just like any other day in Northern America. Thus, the need for darker uniforms tonight so that they blend in to their surroundings. If you read about the Big Island on the Albany River, you might think that it's all about New York City. And you would be so wrong. The Big Island in question is located at 52.204056, -81.864906, which is about 900 miles due north from New York City. Located in the northern part of Ontario, the joint population of Fort Albany and its sister town reaches about 2000 inhabitants, most being of Native origins. Which ranks the place as one of the best location for the Farm.

The Farm is an ordinary looking establishment from a distance. Spreading over the Big Island, with clusters of agricultural-looking buildings with a central, larger, complex in the middle where the Owner house and bunker are situated. Small dirt roads link the many clusters between them. Here and there, a truck or quad can be seen, and workers/guards constantly keep an eye on the fences.

On the surface, the few clusters of buildings are all fenced. Fences are officially to prevent polar bears to attack the inhabitants: but the fences are also to prevent young mutants from escaping. The electrical fences boast a high voltage that is usually kept at stunning leve, although it can be cranked up to a killing voltage. Underground, all the clusters of buildings are all linked by a network of tunnels all leading to the Owner's house. The tunnels are closely monitored with high-tech security. Tunnels all lead to the Bunker, directly underneath the Owner's house, the place where young mutants with emerging powers are kept and shipped from.

The Bunker is also the energy source for all things, from high voltage fences to basic electricity. The energy cental also modulates the energy field around the Bunker, which nullifies mutant powers. To destroy this nullifying field, the central power must be deactivated, or destroyed. As it is the core of the Farm, the Bunker is well guarded with /farmers/ equiped with automatic rifles, night vision capability, body armors and gas masks. These masks are necessary to protect them from the anesthetic gas used to fill the Bunker in case of attack or escape attempts.

As Cyclops heads out of the stealth jet that is designed to fool radars and be blind on nearly all frequencies, he is dressed in a pitch black uniform with his dark red visor. He taps the commlink on his ear and says, "Okay guys, this is it. The information we got from Juggernaut and Spyder Byte matches up. We've found an access near the side that will give us an advantage. We're going to split up into two teams. Juggernaut, Rogue and Jean, you're going in through the front door, hot and heavy. That should give Havok, Alexis and myself enough time to make our way through the access tunnels and to where they are holding the children. Don't be gentle. I want this place burned to the ground if need be. Got it?"

Havok has posed:
Alex has been quiet almost the ENTIRE flight. Someone check that boy's temperature, is he sick? He's been frantically chewing on a piece of that Wrigley's Doublemint though and his legs are bouncing up and down like excited chihuahuas. His nostrils flare with an deeply inhaled breath. He wills his restless legs to still and can't keep the smile from his lips at the 'Don't be gentle'. "You should stay behind me or something," he mutters in Scott's direction. He bites back the rest of it, but it's clear that he thinks his brother is too soon after crowbar to the head to be doing this.

Phoenix has posed:
In her black and muted gold, high neck tactical uniform, Jean is prepared for the evening's dress code. She spent the earlier part of the day making sure the jet was stocked with medicine, food, water, blankets, and clothing for what they may need to deal with on the way out. Preparation was the one way she could keep herself grounded and calm, and she did it to an obsessive degree.

As the plans are laid out, the woman's face is hard and focused with a singular nod to indicate her understanding. "I don't plan to be. Once we know the kids are out, I don't intent to leave any of this in any state to be used again. If we can manage to grab some intel about who's running this further, it may help us identify other sites. If we can't, then we'll find information another way."

Prismatic has posed:
Alexis has her long hair done up in a braided corona around her. She wore a short, high-collar bolero jacket over her darkened uniform, a black-on-black embroidered X at her shoulder as she gives a nod, checking her batons and making sure her gloves are on tight. Alexis had finished up tasks at the school, waivers, contact information sheets, setting up dummy ID paperwork, already starting in on the process of sorting and getting as much as medical started as she could. She looks to Jean, and gives a little nod, dark eyes looking to her senior.

"Just try not to crack my armor before we get to the tunnels, we should be fine." Alexis states, relaxing her hands as the color on her face darkens from her normal olive skin to dark gray-blue. "I have faith that nothing will be left standing once we're done."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue's uniform is similar to the others, going for black on black, black gloves, and her hair is pulled up into a pony tail. She glances to Scott as he lays out the plans and gives a nod of her head before looking to Jean. "'Bout how I figured it'll be. Ain't a brick gonna be left in place once we're done with it." She offers this much, even going so far as to sort of stretch a bit while she walks from the Blackbird. "Can prolly get in and grab a few things of importance. If we're goin' in hot and heavy, then I'm not rightly sure I care who I have to fling about to get what we want." She adds this in and then glances in the direction they'll likely be heading, but she'll wait for further thoughts before actually barreling towards their destination target.

Juggernaut has posed:
The Juggernaut is apparently guest starring tonight. But for the most part he simply stays silent and only speaks if spoken to. He endures the trip in the rear of The Blackbird. Seated with his massive arms folded across his chest and his expression largely neutral the entire time.

When they finally arrive and the team assignments are given, he blinks a little. Juggernaut, Rogue -and- Jean? That sounds like a nightmare team-up for just about anyone or anything. That fact isn't lost on him and he looks over to Jean as she speaks and then finally mutters, "Huh. Wow..you guys aint kidding. You all are playing for keeps eh?"

Lucas Farmer has posed:
Void of mature trees, the island only offers large bushes scattered around the plain where someone can hide from view of the guards patrolling around the farm buildings. Crouched behind some of these bushes, Lucas was watching the guards, not really intent on trying anything by himself. For many days now, he's been coming back to the Farm, unable to clearly understand why. Maybe dreaming of helping his friends escape... but how could he do that alone?

Providentially, the X-Men just appeared and landed close enough for Lucas to have a good look at them as they exit the Blackbird. Who are they, what do they want? For a moment, the young man hesitates between remaining hidden, or running away. But his determination vanished when he realizes the presence of women in the strange group. The Farm isn't a pleasant place for women.

Cautious not to be seen by the guards, Lucas runs to the next bush, quickly crouching behind it. At least, he's close enough to the group to talk to them without shouting. Close enough also to notice Juggernaut's impressive stature! "Go away!'" he warns in a low voice, pointing at Jean, Rogue and Alexis, "If they catch you..." he hesitates, unsure how to say it, "They hurt women in there."

Cyclops has posed:
Coming to a stop at the sound of the voice, Cyclops turns his attention towards it and puts a hand up to his visor as he tracks towards the bushes.

<< Telepathic comms from here out. When we split up. >>

As he makes his way towards the young boy, he presses his lips together thinly, clearing his throat. "Come out so we can see you. Who're you?"

Havok has posed:
Alex mutters under his breath, barely audible, "Doesn't look like behind me..." He's so very obviously not happy about Scott being out here so so. As such, he sticks right by his brother's side, like RIGHT BY his brother's side. Almost close enough to make a person wonder if they're conjoined twins or something. He doesn't pay mind to the kid at the moment, he's busy scanning their surroundings, keeping an eye out for the trouble he's certain they'll attract eventually. If Alexis glances he will offer a friendly enough smile and a little 'go team' thumbs up.

Phoenix has posed:
It's an easy feat for Jean to bring up a telepathic link between the team, though one particular voice and sense of being is missing compared to the party.

Over the comms, she says, ~Juggernaut, the X-Men will be speaking mind-to-mind. If you have something to say, use the radio. We still have them.~

The X-team would hear different, something almost simultaneously stated but in their heads, << Someone's here.>>

And out comes Lucas a moment after. She moves alongside Scott as her mouth compresses into a considering line as she hears the hissed warning. Her reply is quiet spoken but fierce in its intensity. "They're not ready for us." There's a beat as she looks to Lucas with clear scrutiny before she adds, "In fact, we're here to stop them from hurting anyone else. If you're here trying to warn us, I take it you're not working for them."

Prismatic has posed:
"... they're children." Alexis states quietly to the Juggernaut, her British accent cold, "... not items to be /sold/."

And with that, she moves out, lifting a small med pack and following behind Cyclops and Havok. She pauses a moment, dark eyes darting over to the boy who points at them, and she pauses a moment, and gives a small smile to the teen -- though it's hard to see. She reaches into her pack and pulls a mars bar out, letting the darkness in her face fade back to her more natural tones, and she offers it to the kid in a friendly manner.

    "Promise, we're here to help."

Juggernaut has posed:
"Yeah you all just want to make fun of how my armor hugs my ass, don't you?" quips Juggernaut back into the comms, sounding remarkably serious.

Any time for further comments is snatched from him as Lucas makes his presence known and he turns slightly towards the voice and falls silent. Dealing with calming down kids, potentially mutant kids, is their territory, not his.

Lucas Farmer has posed:
Is this guy with a red visor over his eyes serious? To stand there, like a sitting duck, risking to be seen by the guards? But the voice is commanding, and Lucas knows to obey orders.

Reluctantly, the young man slowly raises to his feet, now standing still, his ragged clothing covering his tall - and visibly slim - form. "Lucas," he answers in a low voice, "Don't go to the Farm, they will kill you." He points at the large house, the Owner's house, right in the middle of the fenced property. "They have guards everywhere, you can't see them, they hide in the ground like ants. They have weapons." He then nods at Jean, "Oh no, I'm not a guard. I... I ran away from them." Which doesn't really make sense, even to him, that he would be coming back to this place.

The offered chocolate bar is taken from Alexis, a bit hesitantly, and kept in his hand. Maybe Lucas doesn't know what to do with it. "Hrm... thank you."

Cyclops has posed:
<< Alex, I swear to God, fall in line and stop acting like a child. We're on a mission. >>

Scott growls to his brother through the link as he shoots the blonde Summers a 'look' before he turns his attention back to Lucas. He ignores Juggernaut's comment for the moment. He probably caught wind of Jubilee's memes that were created the other day about it, even he got a chuckle.

<< Jean, sweep the perimeter. He said there are soldiers under the ground. Find them and put them to sleep if possible. I want as little attention as possible before we hit. >>

He stares at the young mutant for a long moment. "We'll be fine. When we're done with them, this place won't even be a memory. I am Cyclops of the X-Men and this is my team. If you know any information that can help us out, I want to hear it."

<< Rogue, can you put eyes on in the sky? It's dark and you shouldn't be seen. Let me know how many guards are on the watch. >>

Havok has posed:
Alex holds his hands up in seeming 'surrender', but the scowl on his face says anything but. He's all about the mission all right, he's still keeping watch on the horizon for any sign of trouble brewing.

Phoenix has posed:
"Then we're here for you." Jean says to Lucas in a softer tone of voice. "And the others like you that are being kept here. We're here to set you free and bring you someplace safe."

There's another faint nod and a mental confirmation from Jean and a last quick smile towards Lucas before she moves on Scott's orders. She steps a short distance from the team to provide less of a distraction and raises her fingers to her temples. Focusing her power and calling a faint rose glow about her head, she focuses her powers out towards the farm. Like an unseen fog, her psychic mind creeps through foliage and across the ground, towards the fence lines to begin seeking out the minds of guards in their way and attempt to shut them down one by one.

A bad day for them to be caught napping on the job.

Prismatic has posed:
Alexis -- not to be confused with the blonde, gives another smile and mimes opening the package. "It's a candy bar." she provides helpfully, "grab it by the tabs and split the package open." she provides quietly, the chromatic young woman being patient.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue just lets Jean and Alexis deal with the pop-up teenager who warns them that women can get hurt and there's a lot of guards - some underground. She looks back to Summers - er Cyclops - after a moment and nods her head. <<It'll be my pleasure.>> This much before she takes to the skies and flies in the direction of the camp, and even though she's wearing all black, she sticks to keeping herself in shadows where she can or just appear as a blip in the sky until - initially doing as best a fly over and around as she can to get a feel for what they're all up against.

Juggernaut has posed:
The Juggernaut falls silent for now. He carefully observes the interactions between the rest and the boy but otherwise has nothing to contribute on this front..and really who would want him to? There is a subtle shift in his stance, as if his 'impatience meter' is beginning to tick..but he remains on good behavior and continues to wait.

Lucas Farmer has posed:
The young man thinks for a moment, looking over the Farm. If he knows anything about the Farm? His knowledge is limited, although he gathered some details over the years.

"The buildings, they aren't real barns, you know. They are made of concrete and metal. From one, you can go to another one underground, and then to the Owner's house. Most of the guards are there, they guard the Bunker. If you go there, they will shoot you, or use the gas to put you to sleep." The way Lucas describes it, sounds like he experienced the gas first hand. Nodding at Alexis, Lucas takes the time to do as she said, and finally unwraps the chocolate bar, not eating it yet.

"In the Bunker, they keep my friends." He pauses, lowering his head, before adding, "Unless they sent them out already." And on that, Lucas falls silent, visibly lost in thoughts for a moment or unable to provide more details, before his eyes turn on Jean, astonished as she uses her powers. Rogue taking to the sky makes Lucas step back, maybe reconsidering who these people really are.

Lucas Farmer has posed:
The tunnels, starting small near the farm buildings, grow larger as they near the Owner's house, under which is located the Bunker. One can access the tunnels from such a small farm building, where there aren't many guards, only a few on the ground watching the fences. Underground, the larger tunnels are patrolled by guards armed with automatic riffles. The Bunker is where the most guards can be found, some patrolling and some on duty at the large metallic door of the Bunker. With kids potentially kept behind the large metallic door, a brute force would be best used, rather than any kind of blast.

Other guards can be found inside the Bunker, either attending the Power Plant that controls the voltage of the fence, or keeping an eye on the /cage/ where the mutant kids are usually kept. Right now, the cage is empty and there are not signs of them around.

Along the larger tunnels, ventilation traps act with the double duty of providing fresh air, or dispensing anesthetic gas in case of emergency.

Cyclops has posed:
As he listens to Lucas, Cyclops gives a slow nod of his head, glancing over to Jean at times as she listens to her within his mind. He presses his lips together firmly, then says, "Let's roll out then. Jean is going to take care of those underground. She can put them to sleep. Cain. I want you on the bunker. Do what you do best. Put your head down, kick the shit out of people. Got it? I'm cutting you loose on them. They're just humans, they only have normal weapons. They aren't bruisers. Don't kill anyone. Don't cripple anyone. Just a good old fashioned beating. Rogue, you're with him. Change of plans a bit."

"Jean, you're with us, because we need you to bring us to the kids. Rogue and Jugs should be able to handle whatever is thrown at them. Kid, you're coming with us. We may need whatever you can give us. Also, the other kids will trust you, right?"

Havok has posed:
At this point, Alex is along for the ride, ranged 'muscle' to bust heads and take names as needed. He cracks his knuckles, cracks his neck and just nods his understanding. His gaze does linger a little longer on Scott this pass over, as if he's looking for any signs that his brother isn't feeling well. C'mon, it's only been a few days!

Phoenix has posed:
<< Alexis, keep an eye on the boy? You can help me with the kids. >> Jean says to her educational second-in-command. << Alex, watch our backs? Especially when I'm focused, I may miss something coming up on us. >>

Then Jean's voice fades again as she starts moving forward towards the site, her powers still active as she reaches out far in front of her. She follows the chain of awareness, following mind to mind like a vast connect the dots, as their concentration increases towards the Bunker. When she finds a cluster of guards, she reaches into their mind to silence them. It's not so hard to make someone sleepy and dull, just a simple squeeze of their emotional nerves.

<<So far, all of the minds I'm sensing seem to be the guards. I'm not picking up anything that'd point to the kids so far. >> Soldiers always have a certain mind about them, a wall of trained emotion. Captive kids would likely be tired, scared, hurt; so far, the empathic end of her powers isn't detecting them.

Prismatic has posed:
"Stay close to me." Alexis gives a smile to Lucas, and she lets her skin remain normal for now. "I'm called Prismatic." she introduces herself simply, and she gives a small nod of her head. "C'mon lad, up we get -- what do we call you?" she asks all friendly, giving a gentle smile to him. She's short. She doesn't seem too powerful, other than the color of her face changing.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue had come back from her fly by and gives a nod as Scott gives out the orders once more. Then she grins to Cain. "You got it. Oh boy this'll be fun." Saying this as she jumps into the air once more but she'll wait for Cain to move - likely - and then just follow his lead.

Juggernaut has posed:
"What do you want me t'do? Hit them with my pinky finger?" retorts Juggernaut in an exasperated tone. He unfolds his arms and shrugs in confusion but ultimately ends up yielding as he turns his attention and body directly towards the base.

"Fine, fine.. I can't promise no broken bones or dodgin' them if they get in my way when I'm coming in but I won't shoot to kill or somethin'." He rolls his massive shoulders and starts forward, leaning into a ready pose to be able to charge when the order is given.

"Damn. Was at least hopin' for a B-Lister like Rhino or something. Anyway just give the word."

Lucas Farmer has posed:
Lucas nods at the guy with the red visor, obviously the leader of the group. "Yes, they will trust me," he concurs, "They're my family." And on that, the young man turns around, ready to follow Alexis. "Lucas' my name, they call me Lucky," he answers the strange woman.

As they proceed further, the X-Men can either take over one of the smaller farm buildings and proceed along the tunnels from there, or opt to go directly for the underground Bunker which has an access directly from the Owner's House by means of a guarded staircase: in this case, the alarm will be sounding all over the place, tunnels be filled with armed guards and anesthetic gas.

Guards in the tunnels will offer a determined opposition, not sparing ammunition on the intruders. The cultist zealots are defending their bread and butter!

The door to the Bunker is a large, one piece metallic door of about twelve inch thick. Blasting it with an energy beam would risk kill the kids potentially kept behind.
Another interesting feature of the Bunker is that inside, the forcefield generated by the power plant creates a nullifying environment, where mutant powers are inefficient: no psy power can pierce its defence. It also means, that the guards inside, most likely alerted by now, cannot be reached by Jean's powers. The forcefield must be deactivated and the best way to proceed is to destroy the power plant itself.

Cyclops has posed:
"Change of plans." Cyclops says now that they have the lay of the land and Jean is starting to remove the guards below them one by one. "Juggernaut, Rogue and Havok. The three of you take out the power plant. We cut power to that first and the rest should go smoothly for us. Phoenix, Prismatic and myself will stay out here and we will be ranged support. Let's take it one piece at a time. We don't need to split up too much. Call out on comms if something goes wrong."

Giving a sharp nod to the group, he starts forward at a brisk jog, reaching up to tap at his visor to ready himself. << Can you feel any of the kids yet? >>

"Lucky." He uses codenames in the field. "How did you get free?"

Juggernaut has posed:
Juggernaut gives Rogue a quick glance and then....smiles despite himself. It's a rueful and resistant smile, as if his face doesn't want to allow it but it comes anyway. Damn teamwork.. He's going ot need to steal some kids basketball at a playground after this or something.

But once the word is given..he's off!

At this point, any option of stealth is gone. Juggernaut's very movements begin to shake the earth with all the generous motion of a localized earthquake deciding to constantly move its epicenter while perpetually increasing the intensity.

"It's breakout time!!" he thunders, attempting to draw as many guards attention on him as he can. The electrical fence holds no power over him. It flashes bright, sending bolts crashing through the air violently as he rips through it and starts making a thunderous run towards the tunnel entrances and into them. If the opening isn't wide enough..it is now. Wisdom suggests that any shocked guards get out of the way if they aren't opening fire...which suits him just fine and hopefully focuses enough attention on him to let the others get in behind him and above him without being harried.

Havok has posed:
"On it," Alex replies, short and to the point. Then he's well, on it. That is to say he's advancing toward the house, arms outstretched. He holds off on blasting for now, he's just here to be the ranged 'wingman', he has their sixes should anyone seem to be about to blindside them. Wouldn't do to just melt and explode the place... yet.

Phoenix has posed:
<< Nothing yet. >> Jean replies to Scott as she feels out the extent of the barrier below. << Null field. I can't push past it, not without... >> She doesn't finish the thought, shutting it down quick as a switch. You don't use a nuke at a gunfight. << If we can kill the power, that should stop it and then we can get through. I wager it's only against mutants, given the captives. Either Cain tries to go through it, but we're stuck out here or in there powerless, or someone tries to overload it and hope it doesn't blow. That's not ideal. >>

And it ends up being the plan that one Cain Marko leads the way for the X-Men, because sometimes the world is an unusual place. Jean moves with the team down the tunnels, ready to go past the shield once its down and ready to erect her own shield to protect the X-Men from any fire if it comes their way.

Prismatic has posed:
"A pleasure, Lucky." The British-sounding woman smiles, retaining the nickname as she gives a nod.

"Stay close now. There may be some loudness and a bit of rough and tumble, but stay behind me if they start shooting. I'll protect you." she comments to him,a dn they move, following behind Scott and Havok as she changes her focus to monitoring the goings on -- and making sure Lucky keeps up with them.

<<Just out of curiosity, if this collapses and all of the Administration is out for healing, who's doing the paperwork?>> she thinks, trying to get the edge off her own nerves.

Rogue has posed:
"If I'd of thought this through a little more, I coulda gone bowlin'..." Rogue offers before she's up and away on Juggernaut's tail, coming up from behind and taking out a guard or few that try to peg any of them up top. S'long as Cain continues a B-line to the middle house, and makes it though the wall - easy breezy - then covering him is a walk in the park.

Lucas Farmer has posed:
Oh yes, Lucas is keeping up with them, eager to go free his /family/. To him, the X-Men - as they call themselves - are a formidable force, and no doubt will mince the Farmers.

As soon as the fence is down, the guards all over the place do indeed focus their firepower on the rampaging Juggernaut, headed for the house. The whole Farm comes alive, search lights crisscrossing the night in search of the indruders, at least a few focusing their beam on Juggernaut and Alex. The defeaning alarm sound barely covers the cacophony of shouted orders among the Farmers.

The alarm sound fills the underground tunnels as well. Alerted of the intrusion, additional guards rush to the Bunker, some running down the staircase, some coming from the underground tunnels leading to the Bunker, thus the X-Men find themselves stuck between two fronts of Farmers shooting at them with their automatic riffles. Those guards in the tunnels aren't aware of the other X-Men running to the house above, and might be up for a quite unpleasant surprise when Juggernaut, Rogue and Alex show up.
From behind Alexis, Lucas yells loud enough to be heard, "There!" he points at the door in the distance, "The Bunker! That's where they keep my friends!"

Cyclops has posed:
As the spotlights come on, Cyclops is already taking advantage of shooting them down with well placed strikes of his optic blasts that sizzle through the darkness, creating an ambiance of red before they strike and cause a shower of sparks. He will use his ranged attack to try and remove their visibility and to peel away some of the attention from Juggernaut. He knows that Jean will have a shield up and ready to protect them if need be. Until then, he will utilize himself as the point person.

<< Apply pressure and don't let up. >>

Whipping his head around, he gives another solid blast of light to strike a soldier in the chest as he goes running across the field with his rifle. He sends the man flying, bouncing off the side of the house and knocked out. For the most part, every move he makes is tactical, every shot he takes has purpose.

Juggernaut has posed:
Like many who are boastful windbags of hot air and puffed up ego, Juggernaut has a habit of stating and over stating his catchphrase. He's unstoppable and all that. Well he's been 'stopped' many times. Even by logic and a good argument.

But -physically- nothing can stop him, or so the belief goes. The bullets are like flies against him. Gas may cause his eyes to tear up and maybe even his lungs to burn..but it's not enough. He keeps it moving.

Until more guards begin to show. With the potential for cross fire starting to happen he reconsiders his tactical options and then slows his movements -just- bring both of his massive arms back as if he was preparing for the mother of all bearhugs.

He then leans forward and swings both limbs around to clap his hands together to produce a loud thunderous *TWHOOOM*.

A shockwave rips out from him as a wall of air pressure rockets away in an ever widening arc that looks to bowl over a wide swatch of guards infront of him and possibly bust into the outer wall of the house ahead of Havok's and Rogues arrival.

Havok has posed:
As soon as they have targets available that aren't walls and ceilings and floors, living breathing targets, Alex lets loose... sort of. He dials it back to the point of leaving normal humans on their knees and hugging their heads. He's smart enough to remain OUTSIDE until there's a Juggernaut induced hole big enough to let that gas air out.

Phoenix has posed:
As much as she has the nagging, burning desire to start ripping houses and barns off their foundations and fling them into the next county, Jean keeps to the mission. As the alarms sound and guards seek them out, Jean's power is a rose-hued shield of light around the core team. Combined with Cyclops' blasts, it makes them easier to spot and aim at but mundane bullets will be hard pressed to get through that shield let alone gas.

"Hold tight and keep moving with us!" She calls to Alexis and Lucas under the dome with them. "Lucky! If you have any other info that I need to pass on to the team before we get down there, now's the time!"

Prismatic has posed:
"Lucky! Stay with me!" Alexis states, reaching for the lad's hand as she pulls him along, and then manuvers herself so that she would take the brunt of any damage. Her shoulder snaps forward, hit with one bullet tthat causes, with some of the light in the tunnel, a very colorful wave fo pattern against her neck and cheek.

She changes her skin color, turning dark blue, and she draws him close into the shield. She reaches for a baton, and shaps it down, expanding the hittin' stick in defense.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is also keeping stray guards trying to come at the house from outside at bay. Like Alex, until it's 'safe' for her and Havok to actually move after Juggernaut, they will. "Ain't nothin' for y'all folks to see in there! Mind your own manners!" She shouts it - she doesn't have to, but she shouts it all the same. Sure Juggernaut can keep clapping the guards away, but she's going to help him focus on getting them a way into the tunnel beneath the house.

Lucas Farmer has posed:
The breach in the house' wall not only gives access to the staircase and down to the Bunder door, it also let the gas out, this treat effectively soon rendered inoffensive. Meanwhile, the joint efforts of the X-Men above ground have also pretty much took care of all the Farmers, some of them having decided that no amount of profit was worth it and opted for a tactical retreat, ideally far, far away from the X-Men. Maybe they are merely following Rogue's suggestion, and minding their own business elsewhere.

"The power plant," Lucas says, "It powers everything on the Farm, like this power inside the Bunker, that keeps us from... from doing things we should not." Well, Lucas knows nothing of special forcefield, all he knows is that the kids cannot use their mutant powers inside the Bunker. While he explains what he can, Lucas stay close to Alexis, witnessing her skin reacting to the bullet, but now is not the time to wonder or ask questions.

Guards fall under Cyclops' beam, and soon a very few of them remain, decided to die defending the Bunker.

Juggernaut has posed:
There is a roar of plaster breaking, cement sundering, glass breaking and brick crumbling as Juggernaut plunges both arms into the floor of the main house near where his shockwave impacted it. He rears backwards and lifts upward, Cyttorak granted strength surging and arms flexing such that he literally begins to rip the place apart almost like peeling back the top of a can to fully expose the workings of the power plant to Havok and Rogue for them to have their way. "Let's bust this joint open!"

Havok has posed:
Alex is still chewing that same piece of Wrigley's Doublemint. That has to be gross by now! When the way is paved and the word is given to really let loose, he grins a crooked, crazy little grin and OPENS up! He's frustrated, aggravated, irritated and grumpy and the energy he had pent up wasn't helping. Man that feels good! Bring the HOUSE DOWN, KILL THAT POWER! "We leaving anything standing?" he asks, hoping the answer is no.

Cyclops has posed:
<< No, we aren't leaving anything standing. Tear it down. We're sending a message. >>

Cyclops rips forth is optic blast once more to punch another soldier in the chest and blast him away as he continues to move along next to his 'team' that is playing the support role. He watches Juggernaut, Havok and Rogue rip through the building as if it was swiss cheese, giving a firm nod of his head in satisfaction.

"If you need to overwhelm it, do your thing, Havok. Overload it if punching it doesn't help."

Phoenix has posed:
As the power plant is struck by the trio of heavy hitters, it goes up in a thunderous plume of smoke and sizzles and the charred reek of plastics and metal. The lights die, plunging the surroundings into darkness that's lit up with the pink glow of Jean's powers and the eye-searing flare of optic blasts. "Now!" Jean bellows to those within the dome as the Farm's shields collapse and the doors open. "Let's go!"

She'll keep the shield going as they dash for the facility and into the fray, protecting Scott, Alexis, and Lucas even while more of her power now pours through the bunker and seek out any guards left standing. With no shield, they're helpless against her as she resumes her mental assault to drop them unconscious to the ground.

Prismatic has posed:
"Stay close Lucky, we're moving quick now." the woman states, tugging Lucky with her, following along after Scott and Jean as they go, monitoring how many guards are going down. Her eyes are focused forward, and she still has one baton out defensively, even as a slug wriggles its way out of her overcoat and drops behind them.

Lucas Farmer has posed:
Anyone standing under the Owner's House, in the tunnel, can feel the walls shake as Juggernaut rips the floor open. Once the power plant destroyed, it seems that everything comes to a stand still on the Farm.

And then, silence.

No more alarm, no more firing, Jean having taken care of the remaining guards. The large door to the Bunker, now deactivated, slowly opened. And behind it... nobody.

As they finally enter the Bunker, the X-Men find... no kids either.

Lucas slowly walks into the deserted Bunker, looking around, finding no trace of his friends. "We're too late," is all he can say, before turning around, walking slowly along the tunnel leading outside.

Juggernaut has posed:
Another horrible wrenching sound occurs as Juggernaut digs his fingers into the side of another building and then lifts, hauling upwards to literally rip the structure up from its foundation and then he begins to start folding the ruins into itself, compressing and crushing the debris like tinfoil and leaving a caved in carcass of a structure in its wake.

"Man..These folk didn't stand to much of a chance did they? I guess that forcefield shows they gtot some tech behind them but..."

He pauses as he thinks he overhears Lucas' through the comms from the others, "What was that? No kids?" He blinks and...actually seems disappointed...as if he cared. "Huh.."

Havok has posed:
Too late?! Alex has been in a MOOD all night and the fact that they ... lost this one? Mostly lost anyway, it enrages the younger Summers. People better get out of the way because he's not stopping until this place is obliterated from the map. Seriously, it'll be nothing. Nothing left, NOTHING. If there's a damned DOG HOUSE on this property, it'll be GONE (...unless there's a dog in it, he likes dogs). When it's over, Alex is completely spent, exhausted and STILL PISSED.

Phoenix has posed:
Nothing inside. Nothing but guards and empty space. Jean's unspend anger rolls in her gut, but the woman's face is a tight mask of control. "Alexis, get Lucas out to the Blackbird? There's clothes and food and water."

It's to Scott she looks next, though her eyes don't linger as she instead turns to the downed guards. "...gather them all up. I'm going to go through them all, one by one, and find out what they know and where those kids went. I'm not leaving her without something." Which, by the low and measured tone of her voice, suggests the process may not be the most pleasant experience for the guards. Likely as pleasant as what her future brother-in-law, sister-in-arms, and ally-for-now are doing to the property above.

Prismatic has posed:
"Will do." Alexis states, and reaches to take Lucas's hand.

"C'mon, lad. Let's get you some place safe. Trust me when I say if there is something they can find, they *will* find it."

And she draws Lucas back towards the Blackbird .

"Just the next part may not be particularly pleasant. Tell me, do you like tea?"

Cyclops has posed:
"Let's get everyone back home. There's nothing left here. We'll have Spyder Byte clean the place out afterwards." Scott says as he takes a look at the damaged bunker and the fallen soldiers around them that are knocked out. "I"ll call it into Shield as well, let them round this up."

He gives a motion for everyone to rejoin the Blackbird, then starts off with a smoldering look upon his face. He's angry, but not unsatisfied.
