Dagger has posed:
It's after midnight and Hell's Kitchen is alive with activity this weekend. The lonely church, old and forgotten, sits amidst the hub of neon lights, bone fires and strip clubs within the shadows of a street corner that has no working street light.

Though, there 'is' a flicker of light from within that may pass through the windows here and there.

The gangs and the sinners have learned months ago to stay away from this rotting relic of worship. Now that news of Cloak and Dagger has taken up residence and has frequent visitors of 'capes' coming by, they give the duo of dark and light some space and respect.

It's within this church that Dagger 'dances' to some classical music set up on an old radio with batteries plugged in. The church no longer has reliable power, outside of a generator that was donated and a solar panel attached to the roof tucked away behind a turret. It's enough juice to keep the water warm and a phone charged. The long legged ballerina leaps and spins with long practiced motions, dressed in her white leotard with the sword cut down through the front of it. A symbol of strength and peace.

It seems that she needs to cut loose, work out some energy before Cloak prepares them for the hunt. There are more kids missing from Bushwick and all they need is a tip.

Doctor Strange has posed:
The Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange, has sensed something in the mystical ether of the planet, nearby in New York. It was faint. Almost like the faint sound of the tapping of a distant woodpecker on the mystical laticework of Strange's web of protection spells.

Following this "feeling" Strange arrives at the location of, of all things, a church. Raising his left eyebrow in a very "Spockian" way, Strange lands without a sound, and listens quietly to the sounds of the city at this time of night.

Normally the darkness almost has a distinct "feeling" to Strange, however, this time there was something else. Not so much sinister, but, for lack of a better word, dark. Palatable. Wait. Was that classical music coming from the church? Unexpected.

Walking up the stairs to the entrance, Strange pushes his right hand forward, and opens the door, expecting the unexpected.

Cloak has posed:
Up in the abandoned choir loft, the form of Cloak is perched like a gargoyle brought indoors. It's more than just so he can watch over Tandy as she dances below, as it puts him in range to look out a broken side window to the streets outside. It's sentry duty, then, mindful of the visitors that they don't know and possibly even those that they do. The church has been increasingly busy.

"It looks like we may see some rain tonight. It'll be a good time to go out, they'll take advantage of the noise and less people on the street." Comes his voice from near the rafters as the heavy baritone filters down through the air.

He may be preparing to say more, but there's sounds outside by the door. He vanishes in a rush of shadow and the hiss of cold, displaced air and reappears below. He towers between the dust-laden pews, a barrier in the aisle. "What do you want?"

Dagger has posed:
As she leaps with her legs stretched out, Tandy lands on her tip-toes, then gives another spin as her arms stetch upwards to the sky. She is beautiful and elegant in the way that she moves. Each bend of the knee, each swirl of her hand, she looks so much at peace, like a young angel seeking to gain her wings.

She hears Cloak. She does, But she just wants this song to last a bit longer. Please, Lord, let me have this song before I have to fight. Just a few more seconds ...

Though when he speaks of the door opening, the sound of old steel hinges creaking, she stops and lands on her feet, a blade of light appearing in her hand as she spins it around in her fingers. She goes from calm to storm as he blue eyes narrow and a crescent moon of light appears above one eye.

"Who're you?"

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange enters the church, feeling out with his mystical senses, a small warning charm at his finger tips, just in case. It was always good to be prepared for the unknown, even when walking into a church. One never knows what could decide to leap out of you from either side of the "moral high and low ground".

Eyes scanning the room, Strange stops and folds his arms across his chest when he is confronted with two personages inside the church. Darkness and Light, indeed. First, Strange regards the shadow, the man confronting him in the aisle.

"Good evening. I am here investigating a few interesting rumours I have heard about the area." Strange looks the man up and down. "You would appear to match the description I have heard about some strange happenings." Strange's eyes then next find Dagger. "Who am I indeed. You would be the second figure in that small collection of shockingly sparse details."

"Before you decide to take an adversarial role in our encounter, I will introduce myself. I am Doctor Strange."

Dagger has posed:
"Doctor Strange?" Tandy says as she gives a furrow of her brows. "Okay.. is that .. your last name, or are you a Doctor of Strange .. things?" There is a bit of innocence in the young girl's voice as she keeps the light blade at the ready as she grips it tightly in her palm. She can feel the heat of the the light along her palm.

"That is Cloak and I am Dagger. We live here." She says as she tilts her head. ".. Did Spider-Man send you? Or the Devil of Hell's Kitchen?"

There is a pause. "Or have you come to harm us?" A hint of suspicion in her voice.

Cloak has posed:
"Been a lot of strange people out there, on the news and in the papers. You must be the strange one they refer to by name then." Cloak says with a growl to the edge of his voice. He stands a little straighter and the dull light in the room does little to define his shadowed features as he stares at the other man. He doesn't approach and instead stays close to Dagger, protecting instead of advancing.

"And now you know that we're here. Your curiosity good now, or's there somethin else you came here to do besides peek through our windows?"

Doctor Strange has posed:
Remaining where he was, Strange listens to the sounds of the classical music combined with the sounds of the city through the open door, and the two people within the main hall of the church. It did not take long to figure out at least a basic personality archtype for the two squatters inside the church. Light and Dark.

"No one sent me...Dagger." Strange nods, making sure he got it right. "I am Doctor Stephen Strange. Surgeon and Sorceror Supreme, although that does sound pretensious at times." Strange smiles. "I know Spider-Man and Daredevil, but they did not send me."

Strange studies Cloak for a few seconds with his mystical senses. It was there. Within Tyrone. That..sense Strange had felt. "Hmmmm. I am that man of which you refer to.I think that you and I will have to have a discussion about what you are carrying my friend."

A beautiful voice brings him around to Dagger, shocking him out of his concentration on Cloak and what he was carrying. A smile. "Well, madame, it is a pleasure to meet you. I did not come to harm you. I believe we have a lot to talk about. You two are becoming "celebrities" in these parts, and that brings with it a lot of attention."
"I have encroached on your home. I apologize. Perhaps we can meet again at a more appropriate time or place?"

Dagger has posed:
"It's fine. You can stay and talk." Dagger says as she lobs the light blade upwards as it bursts into a trio of light orbs that hover, creating a bit of a spotlight around the pair of them. "Sorry, we're just .. new at this. We're working with Iron Fist these days and he's training us to um.. find our balance .. "

She gives a glance towards her partner, then back towards the sorceror as she lifts her brows upwards. "You said he's carrying something? I spoke with someone who goes by the name of Blackout. I found him deep within Cloak's dark. He told me there are monsters inside of him, and ... and I found buildings .. like they were ancient. He told me that this is the dark dimension and that Cloak is a conduit for it."

With that, she tilts one hand backwards, letting it glow to feed her partner some of her light, to satisfy his addiction and hopefully put the monster that he has become at ease. "You can .. sense what is inside of him? This .. thing?"

Cloak has posed:
"An entire dimension, some sort of separate one. He called it a neighborhood." Cloak says as if the word tasted foul coming out of his mouth. He continues in that tone of someone reciting what was told and not quite grasping it, "But he has similar powers to mine, and knows another, with all of them seeming to come from the same source. What sets me apart is that I was some sort of "open portal" and that something big lives in my... pocket."

There's a half of a shrug of his fabric shrouded shoulders. "Must be what you're sniffing out. Funny how everyone seems to know more about this than me."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I can truly appreciate that Dagger. Iron Fist has a good head on his shoulders. He is a great source of mentorship in this world. Balance is pivotal in his philosophy, so I would recommend continuing with that avenue of learning." As Dagger's eyes find Cloak, Strange's follow.

"I see. The Dark Dimension is not to be underestimated or trifled with. If your abilities access it, Cloak, you need to be careful and cognizant of what can happen if you are not careful."

Strange squints at Cloak, mumbles something unintelligible to Cloak and Dagger, and nods. "Yes. You are right. I can sense something." Strange shakes his head. "It would take more time to delve into what exactly is going on with you my friend, Cloak."

"Blackout...fascinating. Well. Not exactly. I do not know "more" than you. I will research it within my library, and we can meet again and discuss it." Strange begins to float of the ground. "This has been interesting. If you need me, please, call me. I am located not far from here at this location..."

Strange uses a minor spell to place a card near Dagger." My phone number as well. Wong, my Manservant, will make sure I get the message. In the meantime...be well." With that Strange heads back into the night with barely a whisper marking his passing.
