Cast of Characters: Flash, Sparrowhawk, Red Robin

Flash has posed:
Wellit had been a slow day in Central city, but Barry had an idea well more of a great idea as he thought he would use his freetime to help those out that were busy deciding to start with his best pal Batman. Okay so Bats wasn't really 'friends' with anyone, but to Flash Bats was his friend so he didn't need to all open to him for him to help out while he was gone. So it was just a quick run before he got to Gotham. As he enteres though he realizes what a large job this really was as a newspaper being blown by the wind gets stuck to his boot. "What a mess.. No wonder he is angry all the time." But with that stop he is gone again, running so fast that the paper just burns up in the wake of the speed.

He searches high, and low running through a burning building, helping old ladies cross the road in a very fast manor, just little things as he speeds through the city until finally he finds it. Two people trying to murder each other with guns shooting at each other in an alley. He moves in to stop them, and it isn't difficult for him to dismantle the guns between shots, but that isn't his issue.

Over the GCPD radio there is a call about another new vigilante that seemed to be bugging them all day. He has done good things, but this was Gotham, and they didn't do well with vigilanties, as the ones they had were all dark and broody so they decide this is the one they are going to stop. They don't know it is Flash, or who is Flash as they had no reason to know. So they set a small trap deciding to wait for whoever this was to show up, stop their little play act and boom promotion for all involved. So as the flash is disarming the weapons, and stoping the cop cars from all around pull up around that little alley.

Of course the Flash could just run, but he doesn't know how Gotham works, and in Central City not only is he a hero but the cities hero, so other then run he just smiles at them. "Hello guys, and ladies of course... I cought this.." he is interupted as they all pull guns announcing who they are and how he is completly surrounded. Flash tries to explain he is trying to help but it doesn't seem to be going well. They have the whole alley surrounded there are those large vans blocking the entrances on the street with guys with guns looking very angry with him this night.

Sparrowhawk has posed:
Batman not being friends with anyone aptly describes his relationship with a lot of people -- unless he personally trained them.

Phoebe was not personally trained by the Batman himself.

However, Phoebe is minding the police channels on patrol, and hears about the sudden resolution of an awful lot of crime going on.

"... a speedster?" she questions out loud from her perch atop a handy cathedral parapet, and then with the sound of a compressed air cannister going off, she's swinging into action, trailing along behind the news of All The Crimes being halted -- until she comes to an alley, between a couple of the museums -- of course, no respect -- and The Flash might find himself surprised when there is the sudden popping of an irritant smoke about the group

And, provided he's not going to speed away from the confusion, there would be the footfall of someone landing behind him, an arm around his waist and a vocoder-distorted voice saying 'Hold on' -- and then he's lifted away from the dubious amount of danger of police trying to corner The Flash, of all people!

Flash has posed:
Flash is trying to negotiate with the police. Holding his hands up he tells them, "Now wait one minute officer these people were.." and that doesn't look like it is going well though he is interupted with smoke as he coughs a little waving a hand at normal speed infront of him surprised that it is there. When he hears the ladies voice he smiles a bit but doesn't fight the arm wrapped around him he just sighs a bit, "I always hate this part..." he says to her as he is then yanked to the Rooftops.

He does give a "whooaaaa" as they raise up into the air, he wasn't afraid of heights of course he had to run up large buildings everyday, but being held by an arm as they lifted into the air made him just a little nervious. When they reach the roof he looks down, and the officers are still looking through the smoke trying to find him.

He sighs, "What is this madness I am trying to help you guys." he says to himself to the group down at the street. He turns expecting not sure who to expect but he has a smile on his face again, he looks at his savior.. "Well... miss... It looks like I owe you one. I don't... I don't get what is going on here, but those guys looked really serious." his voice too seems modified, but it is just him moving very quickly just a little bit so that people won't reconize him as Barry Allen.

He stops looking down at her, "Darn that Bats... he keeps recruiting younger and younger." of course he had no idea she wasn't trained by him. Bats really didn't tell them much if anything about his personal life or who he was training. So he figured she must be one of his, and did not look happy about a child being used in this mannor.

Sparrowhawk has posed:
Sparrowhawk lifts The Flash to the top of one of the museums, and offloads him to the roof before she perches on the side, watching the police below.

"With any luck, they'll thing you sped off elsewhere." she states, and then turns her gaze to The Flash. She crosses her arms, and her lips purse as she looks up to him.

". . . there's an apprenticeship program through the local highschools." she explains in an obvious lie. "May I ask what honor Gotham has to play host to The Flash this evening? Finished your own rounds early?"

She at least sounds more friendly than Batman.

Flash has posed:
Flash nods as he looks down at them, "I could of just sped out, but then they would of starting shooting, and maybe hurt themselves and I couldn't have that. Would of had to disarm them all, and that would of just made it worse so I do thank... Wait did you say high-school.. Your a high schooler.." he makes a fist.. "Darn you Bats." he isn't really 'angry' it can be seen on his face more just frustrated. If there was one thing Barry was way easier to read then the other bat-folk as he kept his emotions on his sleeve if you will.

He sighs a bit, and rubs the top part of his nose as he thinks about it, "Well yes, I have and I was going to run to New York as I figured they needed me the most, but well." he glances around a bit, "Batman hasn't shown up for a while and I don't really know where he is at.". He gives a shrug this isn't the first time Bats just poofed disapeared, but he continues. "Well I thought if Bats was busy Gotham might need some major help as though that guy scares me a little bit.. He isn't really that bad. So I came here to help a friend." he shrugs a bit, "Though I didn't expect this reaction I thought I would speed through solve a bit of crime speed out again later towards the morning and be home with time to spare."

He laughs a bit to himself at that thought, "But Gotham is... wow... I think I am begining to understand the big man a bit more now ya know. Even with my speed it is crazy out there!" and smiles a bit at the lady infront of him. When he talks he talks a lot and quickly, he is slowling himself down enough so the words can be understood, but there is no doubt he is a speedster as even his speach is quick. "I am just trying to do a favor for a friend ya know? As I would hope someone would do for me if I had to leave Central City for a bit... Speaking of which.. I am hungry are you hungry.." he looks around, "One moment." and like a blink he is gone again.

It isn't even a minute before he is back standing infront of her again no-one down below even realized he moved past them he was so fast. He holds out what looks to be a covered plate of pre-cooked lasangua, and a plastic fork he had one himself he was already popping open. "It is better cold. So I ran back home to pick up a couple real quick." as he had in a blink of an eye ran all the way back to Central City, and back again to offer some lunch.

As he is offering there is another sighting of the speedster tieing up a purse snatcher down the block so the police are starting to pack up below. He made a quick stop, well not really a stop just a run by as he liked to call it.

Sparrowhawk has posed:
"... I'm not a highschooler." Sparrowhawk replies, and she keeps her arms crossed as she listens to The Flash speak, and then he runs and gets... lasagna?

"... incidentally I have some at home." she states, looking surprised. NEvermind that her Subway sandwich was still hanging out on top of the belfrey, probably being eaten by a pidgeon.

"GOtham is Gotham, which is why we have a small network of local vigilantes." she points out, "Who Batman trained." Mostly. Except her. "Who watch the city. When we got a report of a reddish blur going about the city -- we had to investigate that. We don't hang out and chat with the police." she states.

She does accept the lasagna anyway, though, and uses the fork to check the layers for ingredients.

Flash has posed:
Flash eats down on his like he is starving, eating at not super-speed just quickly as he listens to her. He nods at times not speaking with his mouth full as it is rude. After he is done with his bite he continues. "Well thank whoever ya like for small favors. I am sorry it must seem like I am demining what your doing here, and I don't mean to. I am sure it is rough for you here, and you have your reasons." he goes back to eating for a moment the food though looks hand made with tons of meat and cheeses made to be a high-carb meal to really refresh one in a small portion. Though he doesn't seem to mind as he munches down, though stops after his next bite, "Well I don't know if this will match yours, but I made it by hand I like to cook it really gives me something to do with my hands ya know." he smiles again thinking about the time he spent to make them, and confirming the thoughts of this being home made as it seems the Flash made this himself. "It is hard to get the pasta right, but I think I nailed it this time." and chuckles a bit then stops.

He smiles again, "Oh one moment." and like a blink he is gone, and back again not even the lasuagna he let go had time enough to fall to the ground before he is back again to catch it. He seems to be covered with a little smoke, it was that fire from earlier he had to help put it out real quick, but it wasn't anything that took him any real time just a quick hop over and back. He doesn't even seem to notice part of his suit is on fire as he munches down on his meal with a smile.

He has never stood still for a moment yet, though he couldn't help it as each moment to him was way longer then others. "So you were saying Bats trained a lot of people huh? I have heard of Nightwing, and the Titans I was going to go visit them next to see how they were doing.. wait are you that Oracle lady? I have heard of her, but never met." he shakes his head a bit the suit though whatever was on it is still burning the suit itself keeping the heat out as he talks, the fire will burn until Phoebe says or does something to stop it.

"So let me get this straight you don't talk with the police, they are trying to stop you even though you are helping them, and this is all because it is Gotham.. Wow this is a crazy place.. If it is okay can I ask why you do it? I don't mean to pry, but that is a lot... So I was kind of curious. Though with so many dark pasts I don't know maybe I shouldn't ask."

Sparrowhawk has posed:
Sparrowhawk reaches out, and pats out the fire on The Flash's suit.

She has put her lasagna to the side, on an air conditioning unit (it seemed more polite than to outright decline), and she gives a small, tight-lipped smile to The Flash.

"We do not talk to the police unless we need to give them information, mostly because being a vigilante is still illegal in Gotham, and there are people who'd definitely pay to know my identity, let alone some of the others'." she explains, and she shakes her head.

"And no, I'm not Oracle. Not nearly experienced enough. I'm... a bit between names at the moment, but for now? Sparrowhawk." she introduces herself simply.

    "And you are The Flash."

Flash has posed:
Flash doesn't move away as she pats out the flame other then that he just chuckles, "Oh.. They made the suit to handle extreme heat changes because of the friction of moving so fast.. I can't tell you how many suits I burned through trying to get it right. If it kept happening I was afraid they were going to call me the streak not the Flash." and grins with a little joke. Though he nods at her sage wisdom, "I see.. I see.. Well at least there are some friends out there in the night... Sparrowhawk."

He stops and looks at her, "So what is with the bird names? I mean Batman, Robin, Nightwing. Is there a big bird population here or something I just don't get it." he honestly adds. "Though yes.. that is me.. The Flash. Pleasure to meet you." he holds out a hand for her to shake if she wants. "I am still not used to people outside the city knowing who I am.. I mean makes sense, but I am just a normal person ya know. It is wierd." and gives a wink. He wasn't in this to be popular, but it turns out his name is out there now so he just deals with it.

He finishes his meal, and glances over at the other one she put down.. "So ummm.. Are you going to eat that?" he asks a bit shyly with a grin. Though he stops again with a sigh.. In a flash he is gone yet again, only to come back a moment later holding a cat.. "This city is just always on isn't it." as he realizes he still has the cat in his hands. "Oh.. oops!" and is gone again just to pop right back without the cat. "Poor girl, prob thought I took it." and laughs a bit.

Sparrowhawk has posed:
"... you're a founding member of the Justice League and one of the most powerful speedsters, and I work with Batman." Sparrowhawk points out, "I know of pretty much everyone within reason -- oh, ah, no, you can have it. Thank you for offering though. I don't eat meat." she adds, and then he's gone. And then returning with a cat! She raises one hand in regards to the poor feline -- and then he's gone, and back again!

"... so, just so you are aware, I have already alerted the rest of our allies here in Gotham of your presence."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is not as fast as the speedsters, but he was close enough that as she says that. Tim is stepping out of the shadows from an Alleyway, seems the young man has learned quite a few tricks from the Bat. He looks over to The two, and says "So, what brings you to Gotham Flash? It is good to see you, but not often we see you here."

Flash has posed:
Flash waves a hand "Oh stop.. You are just embarassing me now." though he has a smile on his face. He was glad to know he had made some difference out there, but well it was a bit embarasing hearing it from another. He wasn't low profile by any means, but he wasn't big headed enough to realize what that means. He opens the next meal up to start munching down again, with a nod to her calling others, and almost drops the darn thing as the next person appears out of the shadows behind him. "Jeesh! What the.. Going to need a bell for you two." and shakes his head making sure he didn't drop any of the food.

He glances at Tim, with a headshake, "I don't know how Bats deals with all these startles you like to put on people.. But, yes I am here!" he chuckles a bit, "Bats isn't around, and well like I was telling Sparrowhawk here I thought I would help him the only way I knew how." he waves a hand over the city, "By helping protect his city!" he chuckles a bit with a shrug, "I know it is silly, but I mean I know if I asked him he would do the same ya know?"

He gets back to munching down on the food he brought or Beacon at first, but she didn't want he looks up. "Hey I brought two you just were too slow.. Robin? Is it still Robin? he hopes it was as they did change their names now and then." he also glances back at Beacon, "And I will take note of that there are some vegitarian styles I wanted to try maybe next I come into town I will bring some.. Just these recharge better ya know." and chuckles.

As he is talking he speeds over to behind Tim to give his hair a ruffle, "And you... I haven't seen you for how long now." of course the kid had grown into a young adult, but to Flash Tim was still that kid. Not that he didn't have responsibility, he had that in spades, but in treating him a bit younger then he actually was.

Sparrowhawk has posed:
As Red Robin gets his hair ruffled -- through the hood -- Sparrowhawk can't hide an attempt to hide the giggle, so she gives a snort instead, covering it up with a cough, raising her gloved hand to politely hide that she's laughing.

She glances over to Red Robin. "He has offered to lend a hand and has been handily handling some of the other items on our watch lists. So far the fire on Fifth and Grant, a lost cat, two purse snatchings and quite possibly was responsible for all the unidentified red blurs that someone thought was a new car of ours." she comments, lifting a hand to her domino.

"And for the ruckus below, where he dismantled handguns belonging to some of Gotham's police force."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will stiffen a bit at the hair ruffle, just what every young man wants in front of his girl friend and crime fighting companion. He Looks to Flash, and says "Yes he needed to handle a few things elsewhere, did not know word of him being gone had gotten out yet, hopefully just to the hero side of things, and not to the less savory elements. " He studies the man for a moment, and says "If your going to help around, might need to give you a bird name, maybe Paragon, pretty fast bird after all, or maybe Cardinal." He jokes

Flash has posed:
Flash smiles over at Beacon, "Yea the stories I heard from Impulse were quite interesting.. Though I doubts he wants me to share any of those." he zips away again, this time he holds some pieces of a gun. He drops them to the ground as he returns to his normal spot not behind Tim. "I have the team working on monitering so they just tell me where to go." he points to a covered ear explaining how he keeps getting these calls. He smile a bit, "They were happy to help." he looks at Sparrowhawk, "And are the real heros behind Flash."

He looks at them both just having that smile on his face, "But I see Bats already had a plan for this didn't he.." glancing over at Tim he nods, "Was that a joke..." he glances over at SparrowHawk, "They do that now?" and grins a bit. "Well I mean most the crime I have been seeing is random stuff, it looks like both of you are doing well here. Is there anything you need my help with specificly while I am here anyway? I know you take care of it, but I am here to help you both know that right?"

He gives a nod that was what he was here for, Bats may of had his own plans, but well Barry was just nice, and nice people helped out friends plans or not.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "Well, the circle I run in maybe a bit of a bad influence." He smirks a bit, and nods "Will keep it in mind, we have called in a bit of reserves to handle things, we should be good, but if your talents are needed in or out of the costume, I will make sure to give you a heads up.

Flash has posed:
Flash nods to Tim, "I get that. But reserves or not Bats trusted you two with this city, and how ever much I hate to admit it that man is hardly ever wrong is he." he shakes his fist in the air at that one. He shakes his head on that one as the way Bats shared information was a bit... different then his, but he was usually right when it came down to it. Sometimes this can be down right irritating, but Flash had learned to listen to what the person was saying other then how they were saying it from him.

He looked out over the city again, then back at Tim, "I am glad to hear it. If you see Bats tell him... you know what don't tell him anything." Flash grins a bit, at that. "Let him figure it out on his own." he turns, "Oh but before I go, I wanted to ask about the Titans are they still in that same tower?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is gone when Flash turns back to him to ask about the tower, but a card floats down from over head. It has the Titans address, and a code for visitors on it." He will speak subvocally over the com to Sparrowhawk. "He is a good guy. a bit soft on some of his rogue squad but a good guy. I need to check into some things, keep me posted.

Sparrowhawk has posed:
"Trust me, it's Batman. He already knows." Sparrowhawk could be heard saying behind Flash's back, but she too has apparently disapperead as he was turning and looking for Red Robin.

First rule of being a Bat: Disappearing is your friend.

Flash has posed:
As Flash turns after asking about the Tower he sees Tim is gone.. "Of course, and I am sure he does.. But don't worry Flash is here to help like I said. As long as you know that then.." he stops turning to see Sparrowhawk is gone. "What is with these people, are the alergic to good buys." he raises his voice a little, "I know your still out there." he sighs to himself a bit. Finally he raises his hands into the air.. Giving a "Gooootham!" though only get a few barks in responses. Maybe someone from below yelling at him to shut up.

Barry rubs that little part of his noise again, and then poof is just gone... in a Flash running off to do other things as he avoided the only thing he couldn't do... Stand still.
