Supergirl has posed:
Itslate afternoon/early evening, and the sun is only just starting to set. It's not yet busy enough for a sizeable crowd at Club Evo, but Kara had heard rumours that the famous starlet Andrea Jackson might be performing here soon, although she wasn't entirely sure when. It seemed to be a popular place for the mutant songstress to perform though.

Dressed in a short white cut off top and denim mini skirt accentuated with knee length black boots, she is not shy about showing off her lean curves as she strides in with a smile, peering around, her feet tapping lightly to the upbeat music that plays in the background..Hmm, that dance floor looks like fun..

Captain Boomerang has posed:
Because of a scheduling mishap, Owen had thought he was working, only to find out that he wasn't needed, so rather than head home, he had hopped the subway, and found his way to Club Evolution. He wasn't wearing anything special, just an indigo t-shirt, grey-blue jeans, and a brighter blue jacket. Thanks to the gradients and shades, it wasn't that obvious he was wearing blue on blue on blue.

His sneakers were brown, his strawberry blond hair gelled jut the way he liked it, and he was sitting on a lime green couch, enjoying a bottle of Heineken. The seat across from him was empty, and he was leaning back on the backrest, both arms outstretched, taking up more of the seat, but also looking very much at ease.

Supergirl has posed:
There are a few posters on the bulletin board, including a few of Andrea's next performance. She peers at one, committing it to memory before heading for the dance floor, as the DJ turns up the volume. There are a few people gathering on the floor even though there are no live bands tonight.

Still, Kara is quite happy to dance to the music, live or not, and she seems to have no reservations about trying out some bold moves as she dances and spins and twirls to the music, the colorful disco lights flashing off her short white baby tee and toned legs, seemingly not shy about showing off her toned body, maybe totally unaware of any leering glances sent her way.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
She was a beautiful woman, and there were guys who would leer at her hungrily. Some would dance towards her, even trying to grind against her, again, all in rhythm with the music, so it was in theory socially acceptable. But they were just random guys, immature boys really.

Owen wasn't that old, only about twenty-four, if one were to discount the fact he was actually born in the far off distant future. He actually didn't know that, or at least, he had not grown up knowing it, so in his mind, he was native to this time stream. He was only a baby when he came to it.

Sipping at his Heineken, he watched as one got particularly handsy. Owen reached across to the communal table, "may I?" he asked, as he reached for the bendy straw that had been left by some of the people nearby, and he would take it, bending it just right. He would also rip off part of it, so that it was balanced.

A moment later, it was flying through the air as a makeshift boomerang, thrown with speed and force enough to hit the handsy guy in the face, it actually hit him smack dab in the ear, forcing him to lose his balance, and fall to the floor. Owen sipped his drink as if nothing had happened.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers doesn't seem bothered much by the leering looks. Maybe because she's not really afraid of anyone with her super strength, or maybe because she enjoys flirting, having fun..But then there's the guy who starts getting a bit too handy and her smile fades just a bit, although she's too much of a lady to just go around punching creeps across the room.

"Sorry, not interested!" she's about to twirl away from him, when from somewhere, someone aims a well placed bendy straw at him with some practiced aim and force that catches her off-guard. "Woah, what the.." she peers around the room, sapphire eyes locking onto Owen's. Hmm. He seems kinda...Familiar, somehow.

She smiles sweetly and waves to him. "Heey, nice shot..Wanna dance?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
Owen wasn't trying to get an invite to a dance, but he drowned what remained of his Heineken, there wasn't much left, and set it on the table, on a coaster, before getting up. "Sure," It was simple. He moved around the table to the dance floor, beginning to dance to the music, moving his arms, legs, but it was subdued, very small movements, slow ones. He seemed to be a pretty good dancer, knowing what he could do and still look good, and never veering too far from it. "My name's Owen Mercer, what's yours?" He asked, as he danced with the blonde.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers grins and winks at him, "Thanks for chasing that creep away. Some people are such jerks! Are you new around here?" she notes the slight accent to his voice, that kinda reminds her of a certain other someone and arches a brow, "Ooh, you from Australia? Hey, nice to meet you Owen, I'm Kara!"

Her movements aren't so subdued, quite happy to show off her snazzy dance moves, to take the spotlight although not particularly with the intention of stealing the show. Honestly, it's just fun! Oh, and she extends a hand to him in greeting, but given the playful sparkle in her eyes, who knows what she might do next?

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He had an accent, as he grew up in Melbourne, Victoria, but it softening as he was still young enough to adapt to a certain degree. "Melbourne," he answered, confirming her question, since she probably wouldn't know Australia's states or territories, but would know its major cities, and Perth.

"Nice to meet you Kara," he offered, though had not gotten a last name. She was a good dancer, and still garnering attention, but less so as she was dancing with a guy. He took to hand when it is offered in greeting, putting his faith, and himself, in her delicate feeling, but deceptively strong, hand.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers oohs, "Melbourne, cool! I've never been..Is it nice?" hmm...Was that other guy from there too? And that trick with the straw. "You've got quite the throwing arm..Kinda like a mini...Boomerang.." there's a brief, thoughtful look in her eyes as she says that..

And then, when he takes the offered hand, she boldly pulls him towards her, smirking as she pulls him towards her, twirling under his arm then pulls out again, rocking and swaying to the music, her movements, bold, graceful..Playful.

She hasn't quite let go of his hand yet, still analyzing him with a thoughtful smile. "You've got quite a strong grip..Not a bad dancer either! You come to this club often?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Yeah, it's one of the most liveable cities in the world," routinely finishing in the top three alongside Vienna, Austria, and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His father George Harkness was also from Melbourne, probably down to sentimental value that he put Owen up for adoption in his hometown.

"Where are you from, Kara?" She seemed to have a stereotypical TV accent to him, so it was hard to place her. Could be Los Angeles, could be Vancouver. Somewhere like that. He danced with her as she pulled him to and fro, enjoying the contact, playing with her. But he was letting her direct these things. He did not push or make her feel that things went too far.

"First time," he admitted, it seemed nice enough. With the Metropolitan Transit Authority, it was so easy to find new places between Metropolis, New York, Gotham, and even Bludhaven. They were all within at most about two hours of each other, usually less.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers oohs, "Soo tell me more, is it warm? Do you have beaches?" she has explored some places, but not Australia, "I hear they have some pretty crazy animals there." as she speaks, Kara continues to move to the rhythm of the music, never seeming to tire or even break a sweat.

She reaches out to grab his other hand and grins, pulling him in a bit closer as the music slows to a gentle ballad. "Me? I'm from Starling, BC. Nice place. Beautiful beach. Love it. But I'd like to travel more."

As for the club, she arches a brow, "Oh yeah? Do you live nearby? I'm fairly new to this place myself, only been here once before, I was actually hoping to catch an Andrea Jackson performance, I hear she plays here fairly often."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"That really depends on how you define warm. To an Australian, it's bloody cold. To anyone else, it's hotter than the sun." He exaggerated... slightly. Most of Australia was in the tropics, with the interior a desert, so it could get hot, and that was why everyone lived near the coast. "We have plenty of beaches, St. Kilda, Brighton, Port Melbourne, Kerford Road, you do know most Australians live by the coast, right? The interior's much hotter than the sun." He exaggerated again, slightly.

"Starling, I hear it's beautiful up there. Probably not too different from Melbourne, just the other side of the world. I've gone skiing near there, didn't get to see too much of the city though. I'd love to explore it more."

She did seem to move fast, asking him about where he lives. "Nah, I'm over in Metropolis. I just took the transit. Not as good as back home, but it gets you where you want to be."

Rage has posed:
Heading through the doors and right past security is Andrea Jackson, popstarlet and widely known mutant celebrity. Tonight she is wearing a snug pack of flexible denim jeans with tears along the thighs and a loose fitted off one shoulder sweater that says: 'Mutie Cutie' on it, her current fashion line she partnered up with.

As some of the crowd raise their phones up to take pictures of her, she offers up a brief smile and a wave as she heads for the bar area to get a bottle of water from the four armed man behind it, then ambles to a table in the VIP section reserved for her to take a seat and watch.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles, "Sounds like a lovely place. Yeah, Starling has pretty mild weather too, nice sandy beaches , lush forests.." she sighs, "It's really beautiful, I love it. I'm going to Starling university, so this is a bit out of the way but I did hope to catch a glimpse of Andrea Jackson.."

She is dancing casually on the dance floor to DJ music, on an early Sunday evening. The place isn't crowded yet, but it might be in another hour. "Ooh Metropolis, huh, The big city?Well, that's nice.." as the latest dance ends, she peers around and smiles, "You know, think I'll grab a coke before I head out, care to join me?"

She pauses as she hears a murmuring and notices the somewhat familiar starlet making her entrance. "Oh wow, there she is!" she exclaims rather excitedly, "I wonder if she's gonna perform tonight?" yep, definitely a fan over here!

Captain Boomerang has posed:
It was a bit disappointing to meet someone who was just visiting. He was from Australia, but lived in Metropolis now, but Kara was from Starling, and was going to university up there. But no need to dwell on how fleeting their meeting might be. Might as well enjoy whatever was to come, and see what happens. "Oh, what are you studying?" He asked, curious about it.

As the latest dance ends, he walked with her towards the bar, which was getting crowded by people trying to snap photos of Andrea with their mobile phones. As is often the case, the pretty girls were getting served first by the bartender, but money talks. Owen offered up some bills, enough to suggest a sizeable tip, and the bartender leaned over to get his order, "two cokes," he was massively overpaying, but it was one way to get quick service.

"Don't know, but I hope so." He didn't actually know her. He wasn't that into current music. Most of the music he listened to he caught on YouTube, so it was older stuff. A moment later he was handed two cans of Coca-Cola, and he would open one, since she might have nails, and it can be difficult to open one that way, and then hand it to Kara.

Rage has posed:
As she sips at her water, Andrea is just taking her time in looking around the club. At times she'll pose for a picture with a fan, putting up a "V" sign of her fingers as she leans in close, or she chats up another young mutant who wanders over to her. She doesn't nudge anyone away, in fact, she practically welcomes any mutant that comes up to her.

As she spies Kara and Owen, she can hear them talk about her amidst the noise and the music. Her ears perk a bit, wolf senses reaching out to snag the words. She tracks them with her dark eyes, lifting her bottle of water up in their direction with a smile as in salutations.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers smiles as she heads towards the bar, smiling and waving to Andrea, "Hey, Andrea!" she calms cheerfully. As Owen buys her a drink, she arches a brow at his generosity and over tipping. "Ohh, you really don't have to, but thanks.." she only manages a few sips however, before her phone rings and she frowns at the number. "Oh..Well darn, I need to go, Heey, Owen, it was nice meeting you, here.." she scribbled her number on a napkin, handing it to him before rising and hurrying through the crowds.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
Owen was surprised that Kara addressed the celebrity as if she knew her. And the woman seemed to lift her bottle of water in their direction. Was it just being pleasant to a fan, or were they friends? And then Kara's phone beeped. He didn't know what it was, but the girl was gone in a flash, but at least she gave him her number. He would quickly take a photograph of it, just in case, and then safely tuck the napkin into one of his internal jacket pockets for safe keeping. That was a number he didn't want to lose. He would raise his can of coke towards Andrea, and take another sip.

Rage has posed:
Tracking Kara's flight out of the room, Andrea looks thoughtful for a moment before she takes another sip of her bottle. Her eyes stray back towards Owen, her head tilting to one side. Did she just 'sniff' at the air briefly? It's a subtle gesture, one that is here and there in a moment before she gives a bright smile to a pink skinned girl with wild rainbow hair. She brightens and leans over to give her a hug as the girl starts to gush about her music, then leans in to take a picture with her. She spends a few minutes holding one of her hands, listening, giving a nod here and there before she signs an autograph. "It was nice meeting you, Starburst. Beautiful name. I look forward to watching you out on the dance floor." As she goes, she gives another glance towards Owen, as if studying him.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
Owen, being a logical thinker, recounts what was said, what he did, what Kara did, thinking about the interactions, trying to study and analyze them. It was hard in a place as loud as this, but he was trying to make sense of everything. It was his way. Then as he looked back, he spotted another glance towards him from Andrea, in between posing for photographs, and signing autographs. She was a popular woman. If it weren't so loud, he'd have searched for a video of one of her songs on YouTube. Although a mutant themed bar, he wasn't one of them. Suddenly, he was wondering if Kara might have been. It didn't really matter to him, he was just curious.

Rage has posed:
After a few minutes, a young man with red wings and a tanktop is seen coming out from the back of the bar. He has bright red wings and looks physically built. As he approaches the table, Andrea brightens and rises up to her feet. It's clear the young man works here by the apron that he wears. As she loops her arms around his neck, she leans in to give him a quick kiss, then engage in conversation briefly as she slides her hands into his for a squeeze. For those in the know would recognize him as Jay Guthrie, lead singer of The Blue Pirates who performs with her from time to time. A new rock band that has taken off recently. After a few minutes of talking, he heads off back once his break is over. She gives a long stretch, then takes her phone out to send off a few texts before tucking it away. Finally, she makes her way towards Owen, giving him a bright smile.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He wasn't trying to snoop, but even in a club with many mutants, a guy with bright red wings was hard to miss, so Owen got to see a fair bit of the exchange. Later, Andrea Jackson would approach him, offering smile, but not saying anything, so he started, "Hello," with an Australian accent, and he just came out and said it, "do you know Kara," referring to the girl he had been talking to earlier, and who seemed to exchange looks with Andrea. Of course, he half expected security to separate them.

Rage has posed:
"Was that her name? I was going to ask you." Andrea says once she stops in front of him. Her brows lift upwards, giving him a glance over. "You're from Australia. Melbourne area?" She asks as she gives him a grin. "I played a few shows there, can pick out that accent for miles. Your friend is named Kara? She seemed familiar to me. Can't place it, but she knew my name."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He imagines most people do know her name. She's a celebrity. There are posters with concert dates and such. "Unless she's terribly mistaken," he replies with a bit of sarcasm to it, as that was the name she had introduced herself as. "That's right, good ear." He said. And then, looking at him, he didn't have much on. There was the napkin, which he wasn't going to dare touch, but no paper to speak of. So as he patted himself down, he pulled out one of his boomerangs, this one wasn't weighted, or sharpened, or anything special to it. It was one of his standard boomerangs. "If it's not too much trouble, d'ya think you could sign this, to Kara?" He planned on making it a gift. It would certainly have the benefit of being unique.

Rage has posed:
"Well, I know how people yell my name. Usually it's ... like a fan. But she yelled it like she knew me. There was a specific inflection in her voice." Andrea seems to know a lot about voices. She is a singer after all. When he produces a boomerage, she lets out a laugh. "Wait, that's not a thing is it? Like.. Australians walk around with Boomerangs on them?" She reaches into her purse to take out a marker, then takes the boomerang to feel the weight in her hand. She scribbles: 'To Kara, from Andrea. Smiling Increases Face Value.' <3

When she hands it back to him, she grins. "Was she wanting an autograph and got embarrassed or something? I'd totally would have talked to her. I love talking to everyone here in Bushwick. This is my people after all."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"I just met her tonight, but it sounded like that to me." He agrees, but if Andrea doesn't seem to know Kara, well, he didn't know what to make of it. Best not to dwell. And he laughed and shook his head, "no, it's long story, but definitely not something we do back home." He was glad to take it back, and would extra careful with it, not wanting the writing to get smudged or anything. "She had a call, had to go, but I got a number, so, who knows." As for her people, well, he wasn't a mutant himself, or from Bushwick, so he just smiled politely, "thanks, I appreciate it."

Rage has posed:
"No problem. Tell her I said Hi." Andrea says with a grin as she bobs back and forth a bit on her feet, arms swinging along her sides. "Well, I'm going to get out on the dance floor and break some ankles. It was nice meeting you." She says as she calls over her shoulder, heading out to the dance floor as she puts one arm up in the air, snapping fingers as she sways on her path to cutting loose. The music is rumbling tonight and she plans on being apart of the energy.
