The Open Door: Phantom Train
Date of Scene: 10 May 2021
Location: Manhattan Subway Station
Synopsis: The Scoobies and allies investigate a train disappearance and uncover a secret vampire cult..The battle is over but the war has just begun!
Cast of Characters: Buffy Summers, Constantine, Blade, Spike, Deadpool, Willow Rosenberg, Phantasm (Drago)
Tinyplot: Open Door

Buffy Summers has posed:
The sun has just set, which means Manhattan may soon fall prey to another large scale vampire attack. Which is why Buffy returned to the most recent site of a vampire attack, beneath the surface, in the large and maze-like subway system of Manhattan. She had also alerted her supernatural hunting allies, loosely known as the Scoobies although she'd really like to change that name.

After sending out the red alert, she arrived on the train platform, having caught a quiet moment in the usual pedestrian traffic, which is good, since things are about to get real ugly..Hopefully not too ugly if she can help it.

Constantine has posed:
If anyone ever calls him Shaggy, they can bank on being banished into one Hellworld or another. For someone that spends ninety percent of his life three sheets to the wind in a bottle of liquor, John is pretty light on his feet and quiet. Not that he can fool slayer senses, but he does make a good show of trying to sneak up behind Buffy and whisper, "Boo," in her ear.

Blade has posed:
Blade caught wind of an impending vampire attack after interrogating a particularly smug blood sucker the other night who believed himself immune to torture. He was young, stupid, and trying to scout the area for hunters snooping around. The vampires are smart enough to keep watch on their hunting grounds but at the end of the night the hunters usually tend to be smarter.

The vampire sang like a canary in minutes and was 'staked and baked' soon after. Blade is hiding in the shadows, not making a move, waiting for what he believes is -his- quarry to show up. When Buffy and some others show up he narrows his eyes. This is not what he expected. He knows her face and her name but not much else, except that she's some mythical "slayer". He decides not to reveal himself until the vampires show up. He's not in the mood for a conversation.

Spike has posed:
The sun was deadly to most vampires, but to Spike, it was a mere inconvenience. There were towels, and blankets, and hoodies. Personally, he hated the hoodie look, but they were incredibly effective. All he had to do was wear gloves, slid his hands into his pockets, and keep his back to the sun, and was fine. Of course, a strong breeze could knock that bloody thing off and set him ablaze, but what was life without it's little quirks.

He was wearing a blood red hoodie underneath his black duster coat, following after Buffy, since she had the good graces to invite him along on this little field trip, not that it meant he would complain any less, with 'are we there yet', 'I'm feeling a bit peckish, are you sure we couldn't have brought little Xander along', and things of that nature.

Once underground, he adjusted his hoodie, pulling it off, so it hung just right over the back of his coat, though that was easier said than done. For someone who claimed he never cared, and made fun of Angel for his grooming habits, Spike was just as bad, he just did a better job of hiding it. When he was done, he would look like he didn't care about how it sat, and yet, it flattered him and worked with his outfit. When Constantine tries to sneak up on Buffy, to scare her with a boo, he'll find a hand pulling him back by his clothes, "not now, Shaggy."

Deadpool has posed:
Deadpool arived outside in a mini-van though this one was differet. Most of it was Bondo, and it was paiting in red, and black stripes, though otherwise it looks normal. As he gets out he opens the trunk, and pulls out a chainsaw though this time it has a strap as he puts it over his shoulder to hold it there. He is already armed with muliple guns, and two large blades, but he also seems to pull out a wierd looking crossbow with a wheel on the side that seems to be connected to a pully system.

He smiles, "Well Buffy Jr.. We are going to kill us some vamps tonight." as he quietly heads in.. He follows some-one in a hoody as he quietly heads inside. Once inside the person speaks Deadpool smiles to himself. A small red beam comes from the bottom of it right over where Spike's heart would be... He says in a calm low voice.. "What is the password..."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Ironically, Willow was taking the subway home! Thankfully Buffy's red alert was almost *right there*. She texted:

<Wills> On my way. Do you like Wills? I don't think it suits me. Five minutes. Tops.

It took her seven. Oops.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Being that Nick is one of the group that lives IN the New York area and he hasn't gone off on tour yet, this summons was reasonably easy to answer. Dressed down, hair pulled back and tucked into the collar, the entertainer walks in rather quietly. As they were meeting on the platform area, Nick ends up bringing the bookbag once more. Escrima sticks carefully stowed away in there.

Coming up to the gathering, Nick takes a look to the cluster of blondes and redheads. A curious glance shot to Constantine before eyes settle on Spike. Hmm.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers is dressed for battle tonight: Red leather pants, white shirt worn beneath black leather jacket, and what looks like a nylon violin bag slung over one shoulder, carrying her battle axe. About her hip hangs her utility belt, containing various stakes, bottles of holy water, flash bombs and a flashlight. She's also wearing her cross around her neck on a chain, blonde hair pulled in a ponytail and out of her face.

At least most of her weaponry is concealed, which is a good thing once the train pulls up and lets off a Willow and a few other people. Fortunately they just about escaped rush hour so Buffy patiently waits for this group of passengers to clear before proceeding.

Spike and Nick are given a nod, Deadpool is noted too with a slight smirk. Though it turns into a frown as he demands a password from him. "Heey, dont start. Remember that no-kill list? This is Spike, he's an ally." and good thing he pulls Constantine back from playing a practical joke on her cuz she's not in the mood. "Seriously, Constantine? I thought you were supposed to be the 'adult' when Giles isn't around.." she rolls her eyes, scanning the platform, nit yet spotting a hidden Blade although she may just sense something odd..Which causes her to shiver.

When she finally spots Willow, she breaks out into a smile, stepping towards her. "Willow, glad you could make it! I think that's everyone?" age glances around, Soo, the missing train was last seen travelling down this track, I'm guessing someone altered its path, sent it down a different path..Careful guys, this place can be a maze.."

Once she's made sure no trains are coming, Buffy leaps onto the tracks, heading southwards. They'll have to be quick before the next train comes. This particular passage has space between the two sets of tracks but can be tight.

Constantine has posed:
Maybe the sun is just an inconvenience, but what about a little Hellfire? Maybe he's just lighting his cigarette with that little flame that dances between his fingers. Maybe it's not REALLY a reminder of how easily he can make things burn? Either way, Spike's hand gets brushed off with a shrug of John's shoulder and a quipped, "What've we here? Scrappy? Go away, pup, you're annoying me." He brings flame to tip of one of his favored Silk Cuts and turns away from Spike. "I've reached my quota of adulting for the week," he informs Buffy. His sigh is so put upon right before he leaps down to follow along.

Blade has posed:
Blade scowls when he catches scent of Spike, clearly a vampire. In the span of two seconds he begins to make his move, unholstering his dual SMGs loaded with wooden bullets, and then hearing Buffy refer to the vampire as an 'ally.' Ally? Is she out of her damned mind? He keeps the weapons out.

Then footsteps are heading in his direction. The vampire will sense him soon enough and he's not going to play games with what he percieves to be 'children.' Their comic banter is annoying him already but Blade has no choice but to step out of his hiding place and reveal himself. He does so before they get too close, "One shot at me and we will have a huge problem. You do not know me but I am not your enemy, I don't care what I smell like, or 'feel' like with whatever powers any of you have. I am Blade, I kill vampires, and I've been doing it a lot longer than any of you.." He eyes Spike, "Except maybe you."

"This can go two different ways: You blindly believe me or you can try to kill me. I'm not going anywhere."

Spike has posed:
'Oh, not him again,' Spike thought to himself as he heard Deadpool harass him again about some blasted password. Thankfully Buffy reminded him that Spike is good, or at least an ally. Turning around to face Deadpool, he said in a firm, but even tone, "keep that password shite up, and I just might show you what I can do with a chainsaw," referring to their prior conversation, where Spike threatened to use Deadpool's chainsaw to sever his limbs, and bury them across several states, and an ocean.

How the hell did Spike get to become Scrappy Doo in all this? Still, better than Shaggy. And then Blade is aiming a weapons at him. See, Spike can smell out vampires, half-vampires, whatever the hell Blade was, guns, leather, and whatever else he might be carrying too. Deciding to make light of it, he moved towards Buffy, "I see you're graduated to recruiting people on high protein diets. Good work." He actually said that as if it were a compliment, although his word choice, and that it was Spike, it had to be sarcasm, right?

Deciding to offer some expertise, being semi-serious for a moment, "Never had the pleasure, but I've heard of you. Killed a lot of our kind. But I'm catching up." And in one fell swoop, announced to everyone that Blade was a vampire, vouched for him, and staked a claim, no pun intended, that he did was fighting on the side of angels too. At least this week.

You would think that was a tense situation, but Spike didn't care. Instead, he strode forward, ignoring Blade now, and moving towards Willow, "Will, did you change your hair? I like it."

Deadpool has posed:
Deadpool lifts his weapon turning off the sight laser for now as he releases the trigger. "Oh I am just playing with him.. Spike, and I go way back don't we buddy." though he doesn't move any closer to the man just eye him with a warning glance as he explains. "I was about hip deep with my chainsaw, and some vamp started blabing about something around here. Any idea what we are walking into?" he glances at some of the others, "Not.. like it may matter to most." he says slowly, but continues. "It is good to know what the mission obective is if nothing else."

He spins pointing the weapon as Blade appears, though he doesn't shoot his trigger discipline on people just showing up out of no-where has been tested way too many times. He tilts his head looking at him with his modified crossbow "Huh.. Can we keep him.. I like this one you can just smell the danger. I bet he doesn't even pay his taxes." and laughs a bit too maniacly before lifting his aim from the man clearly not a danger to him, or the others yet or he would of shot while he was hidden.

Finally he takes a couple steps to get to willow watching the others, he says in a low voice. "We need to talk later. You maybe super strong in your thing, but don't get too far. When things get dark it is easy to get seperated." and gives her a grin and a nod as he waits for everyone to follow taking the position in the back to make sure they are not followed or at least surrounded.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow breaks into a similar smile. "I was just heading home. Holy cow! You brought the big guns." She waves at Wade (because he needs a friend! duh!). And Nick, Spike and.. Constantine? *boggle* "So.."
Shehe looked around at Blade introduction. "Uh.. "

Now Willow was quite the person who, in moments, always had a feeling about people. Well, usually.. Okay, mostly she believed you were good until you were proven otherwise. But with Blade's attitude, Willow was most definitely the 'girl' of the crowd. And she felt.. discouraged. Something like.

*blink.. blink..*

"I did! For my new job!" And also to celebrate her new casting abilities. "Thanks Spike." Of all the people, Spike was not the one she would have expected. She almost missed Wade's quiet words to her. "Sure? Whenever, Wade."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick gives a bit of a grin as Buffy reprimands Constantine on his behavior. "...The numerical age may be older but that's not necessarily a guarantee on the mental age." He nods to Constantine. "Nick." He offers, having gotten the other's name off of Buffy's reprimand.

Hearing Willow's mention of the big guns, he looks to the gathered group again. In particular the British guy he's not familiar with. Hmm. Big gun?

As Buffy jumps on to the tracks, Nick takes a few steps to leap off afterwards. Knees bend to absorb the impact, but the musician straightens, following after the slayer. Upon Blade coming out, Nick's head tilts in consideration. The posture shifts to a bit more relaxed as Spike ends up vouching for him.

Ok so two, possibly three, vamps on the team. Two of which he's not familiar with when it comes to battle so it'd be hard to predict where they'll move... Well, that rules out one possible approach if shit hits the fan. The backpack he wears remains ignored for now.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers senses Blade before she sees him, whipping out her battle axe and holding it at the ready...And she's already moving between him and Spike, ready to block whatever attack may be coming his way. "So, you're Blade huh. I guess your reputation precedes you." she smirks as she gives him the once over, and while she doesn't attack, Buffy still remains tense, and oddly protective of Spike.

"I was wondering when you were gonna make yourself known. I hear you're some kinda mercenary? Also hear your a half vamp or something. Well, as long as you don't get in the way or try to cut down my allies I guess you can join us."

Constantine is given a look, pausing only briefly as he lights the way. "Seriously though, why do people keep comparing us to the Scoobies?" she glances between him and Willow, "Keep your magic senses peeled. There's got to be a reason for the surge of vamps in this area. I just hope theres no magic or hellmouth involved, but you never know.."

She continues to take point, leading the way as she pulls out her flashlight as it get darker the further down the tunnel they go. In some places there is no light at all and it's a bit spooky with the narrow walls and the possibility of a train coming at any time. Thankfully, the tunnel eventually widens, and branches off to the left, the third unused track disappearing behind what was recently blockaded behind a chain link fence. Looks like it was recently torn apart.

Constantine has posed:
John's eyebrow, just one, shoots up independently of the other when Blade appears and goes all... Blade. He YAWNS, makes a big old show of it, covering his mouth with one hand. "Well bugger, if Buffy'd warned that dick wavin' was gonna be a thing here, I woulda worn me tight pants." He sniffsSNIFFFsniffsssssssss. "Smells a wee bit like arsehole to me." It's then that he pushes past Buffy and mutters, "No time for this shite, keep movin' Slayer," only stopping to let her pass him when she is actually moving again. He's puffing away on that cigarette, at least for now, getting as much of his fix as he can before it becomes a liability.
"Constantine, John Constantine," he calls back toward Nick. "Now, if the lot of ye are done standin' around natterin' like a bunch of old hens at a church picnic, can we do this thing? I'm payin' someone a dollar an hour to keep me bar stool warm."

Blade has posed:
Blade steps to the side, "Then we are in agreement." He's not going to offer a response to anything that has been said so far, "I don't watch anyone's back but mine. We fight together out of necessity, no matter how inconvenient it might be." He gives Spike another look as he says that but it's obvious now that he's not going to attack the vampire.

Neither confirming or denying what he is, he takes the rear guard, weapons still out. His trademark adamantium katana sheathed at his back.

Spike has posed:
It wasn't lost on Spike that this is the second time Buffy has protected him. He didn't need it, but the gesture is still noted and appreciated. Spike helpfully suggests, "You can cut Deadpool all you like mate. He just grows back, twice as annoying, like the Hydra." He pauses, then adds, "The creature, not the organization."

Still being helpful, he explains to Buffy, who already knew it, "Xander." Just that one word. No more was needed. "At least you're Daphne, I got Scrappy Doo." Wow, Spike knows about the Scooby Doo Show? How would a vampire who died almost two hundred years ago know about the Scooby Doo Show?

With Buffy taking point, Spike made sure to watch her back, while also using his vampire sight to look into the darkness of the tunnel. He may have given off the impression of a light hearted complete lack of caring, he was looking for areas he would attack from. He did notice Nick eyeing him, but he didn't know Nick, and the man was quiet, so Spike was content to keep it quiet.

Knowing that Blade, and like others would overhear it, he whispered to Buffy, "It's good that Blade didn't attack me. He's so close to reaching the big three digits. It'd be a shame to miss it by just over a month."

Deadpool has posed:
As Wade follows sometimes walking backwards looking listening he just speaks to no-one or himself really. "Ya know I hope there are more then last time.. I brought Buffy Jr. with me so I better get a chance to shoot some vamps." he glances back at the group. "One vamp or another.." though he just laughs into the darkness. He walks right infront of Blade at the back of the group waiting till things get that silent errie before he starts whistling a tune.."What... What? I mean they got to hear us so I mean.." he just sighs. "Fine..." apperently losing the argument with himself.

He is only silent for a little bit as he looks at Blade, "So.. Are you sure your not canadian? You remind me of someone." and grins a bit "Not hairy enough though." he turns to look ahead again following. "Let me introduce you to the group.." he says to the half-vamp, "Reliable, Reliable, Unreliable, Unreliable, snarky but unknown, unrliable you." in order that was Buffy, Willow, Nick, Spike, Constantine, Deadpool. He pointed as he said it to be fair.. Of course he didn't know what Nick did other then stand there and touch people so to him was a bit unreliable in combat. Also he was alays a wild card so completly unreliable.

Finally he looked at Spike, "Hey Buffy he is actually going to fight this time right, cause if all he does is run his mouth I am going to have to stab him for stealling my style." and laughs again.. Only maybe joking.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Right. Senses peeled.Of course, Willow is giggling about Constantine.

She walked in the middle of the group, after all she was used to it by now. Besides she could cast magic from anywhere.

She leaned in to Deadpool, "John really pretends not to care, but he does."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As Buffy directs a prompt towards Willow and Constantine about magic senses, Nick makes a mental adjustment. Two vampires. So that's just one that he's not familiar enough fighting wise to accommodate for. He gives a slight sigh.

The frown that ends up going with the sigh ends up being negated when Constantine opens his mouth. There's a slight quirk of amusment to the side of his lips, before he shakes his head. Alright moving forward.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers rolls her eyes at the constant banter, and Deadpool's humming. They should be quiet, more subtle. Who knows what they're up against. She nods to Willow and Nick, glad that theyr3 a5 least taking this seriously. Deadpool is just given a long look and sigh. "You named your weapon Buffy Jr. Dare I ask why? No, maybe I dint wanna know.."

When they reach the destroyed fence, she doesn't hesitate as she shines her light on it. "Well this is it, they must have pulled the switch, taken the last train car off the main tracks. But why? Well except for the obvious.." hmm..She continues to lead the way down the side tunnel which is more narrow, dustier, darker..Kinda creepy really. They move on for some ten minutes, going down a slight slope for some time before they reach the abandoned train car.

Some of the lights are still flickering inside but it looks like the side door was ripped off and the inside is trashed. There are a few bodies scattered about, sprays of blood here and there, some upturned seats. There was a battle here recently. For those who have keen senses, the muffled, hushed sounds of whimpering some from somewhere near the back of the car.

Constantine has posed:
He falls quiet the further in they get. John's a snarky bastard, but he also takes 'work' very seriously. There was no prompting necessary really. Constantine is pretty much always 'attuned' to the mystical, he just needs to focus on it rather than trying to ignore it or drown it in booze. He plucks the butt of his silk cut from his lips and tosses it to the ground to be ground out under the heal of his shoe. Constantine puts his hands in his pockets and slips on a ring or two, just little trinkets honest, for good luck - if luck is found by the ability to cast magic on the fly.
When they reach their destination, he opens himself up completely to the mystical so that he can see the scene from another perspective. He's looking for traces of magic, he's examining the dead to be sure they're truly dead and not about to turn into something undead, he's got an eye and ear out for ghosts of the dead and any wisdom they may impart... and he's wondering how much he'll need to drink tonight to erase it all so he can sleep. ... for a few hours.

Deadpool has posed:
Wade looks forward to Buffy, "Well it is my little Slayer.. aren't you.. aren't you," and he holds the bow close, and grins at her. "And if I called it Buffy things would just be confusing.. So Buffy Jr. A little of you and me.. put togther into a killer." and gives her a wink. That will teach her for asking, though it was the truth.

As they approach the car even he is a bit more quiet, he nods to Willow showing he heard her, and since it was prob magic that dude was using as he didn't seem to be a mutant, he would just go with Willow on this one. He also whispers very light.. "Does anyone else smell trap." he looks back at Blade then around. He makes a hand motion to him, and if someone were familer with military hand signs they would know it is fade away and overwatch though Wade isn't sure if he would get it or not.

If this was a trap it would be nice to have someone on the outside looking in. He would stand next to Willow incase as she was their cannon. You protect the cannon till you fire it and blast everyone away even he knew that. If there were numbers though it might be overwhelming so if he stood here not only would he be in a good shooting position, but able to protect the cannon... err Willow he corrects himself in his head. With one with weapons in the back, middle, and front.. let them bring it.. He will kill all of them.

Blade has posed:
Blade is of the same mind as Buffy. He's in full combat readiness mode, ignoring Spike's arrogant banter. He allows his senses to fully take in full extent of their limits, sight, smell, sound, auras, no matter what unpleasant things he will sense underground. If anything dead is within at least a quarter of a mile, he's going to know, and he's going to be ready.

His weapons are aimed cyclically in different directions and he will lock on to the first dead thing he senses. Deadpool is given a short nod though. He's going to keep quiet. When Deadpool gives his sign, he narrows his eyes, and stops immediately, pressing his back to a wall, not saying a thing. He watches Deadpool expectantly for an explanation though.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Just as Constantine opens himself up to the mystical, so too does Willow (though with a bit less aplomb!). She didn't stop there, though. She looked around the overended subway car, and looked about everywhere but in the subway car. She didn't feel comfortable. Not. One. Bit.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As they come across the abandoned car, the frown returns upon Nick's face. The number of bodies is a less than welcome sight. The scent, less than pleasant. But a matter that soon resolves itself as the scar upon his lower right forearm fades, transitioning over to the left. He steps into the car, looking around.

Spike has posed:
Deadpool may be known as the Merc with a Mouth, but Spike could give him a run for his money when the mood struck him. But he was on his best behavior. He had been invited on a mission by Buffy, and besides, most of the people around he either didn't know, or actually liked. Deadpool, as ever, was the exception.

Spike wasn't arrogant; actually, he was arrogant, just not this time. And, foolish or not, he heard muffled sounds coming from the back. The wise thing to do would be to stay in formation, but patience was always one of Spike's greatest weaknesses. Moving past, he said, "there's someone alive in here, in the back, four dead," and he was heading to help them. Besides, if he died, he had a good run, and the rest were in formation. Like a bloodhound, he made his way, his voice soothing, "it's okay, we're here to help."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Constantine may sense something interesting, it is the impression of one of the last things one of these dead people saw. However, the ghosts have more or less moved on. Thankfully, none of these people were turned into vampires, but it's still a bit odd that there are only four passengers on what is usually a big crowded car in mud rush hour.

Willow may just sense something else, a thin trail of magic leading g down one of the winding maze like tracks further down the tunnel. Spike will find the little seven year old girl first, whimpering and cowering beneath a broken seat in the back. She's crying, probably still in shock, who knows how long she's been there?

She reaches out to Spike for an instinctive hug, crying uncontrollably, "They took my mom! And a bunch of other people.. I'm scared! What are they gonna do with her? I want my mom back!" she sniffles.

Constantine has posed:
He's pretty sure, as in he'd bet his cheapest bottle of scotch, that the rest of the poor souls that were on this train are still in the tunnels, just no longer human. Constantine does the math in his head and doesn't like it much. If all the other passengers *were* turned into vampires or revenants or the like, their odds just got worse. When that little girl starts wailing, Constantine ... well, he's an ass but his intentions are good. "Hush, we'll get yer mum back, but all that wailing is just gonna bring what took her back," he whispergrowls in that direction.

Blade has posed:
Blade sensed the humans, but it wasn't a concern to him. He could roll his eyes when Spike notes them. He waits as Spike unknowingly volunteers as bait. He's not heartless, he's just pragmatic, and if there are vampires nearby who have found a way to elude their collective senses then Spike will be the scapegoat. Blade has no problem with this.

His weapons are trained onto the spot where the humans are, ready for what might be an ambush. He gives a nod to Constantine, hoping that the man understands: Be ready.

Spike has posed:
Sensing it was a young girl even before he saw her, seeing her eyes welling up with tears, Spike was extra careful and soft with her. "It's all right luv, we're here. Now, what's your..." he oofs as the girl reaches out, hugging him. This was so different to how he would have reacted before he got his chip, before he lost Dru, and before he came under the influence of the slayer. But that was then, and this is now.

It was good that he didn't need to breath as the girl hugged him so tight. "Who took yer mum, little one, and what's your name? I'm..." he paused, "my name is William." Introducing himself a Spike simply wouldn't have done in this situation. He wanted to promise they would get her mother back, but knew better. So he was careful with his words.

Moving back and carrying the little girl, he made a point of trying to aim her head away from the bodies he had to step over to get to her, bringing her back to the group, where he would introduce her to, "this is Buffy, and that's Willow, and this is John..." he didn't know Deadpool's real name, probably the only one, and he didn't know Nick's name, not having caught it yet. Fortunately, he did know Blade's name, "and this is... Brian." He didn't know Blade's name, so made one up. It would no doubt annoy Blade. And he liked that. He wouldn't exactly hand her off, but he would appreciate it if someone more nurturing would take her off his hands.

Deadpool has posed:
Deadpool says nothing when seeing the kid, he can't sense these things so to him it was better... To keep a professional distance. He opens up a flask, and sprinkles water on the new comer.. It is holy water, and should react if they are.. changed. He would do it if they were a quick spike wouldn't feel a thing, but to his relief as even he didn't like killing kids there wasn't one. He looks at Constantine, "Don't let your guard down... though its rare they do turn kids best weapons they can find really."

He turns letting the others that weren't about to kill the kid handle the situation, "Sorry Blade, looks like I was wrong.. Man could of swore this was a trap.. I mean look at all the entrances." he speaks though in a lower tone. He gives Willow a small look of relief when he turns, but that is replaced by his game face as he would kill these vamps kids, adults, whatever they may hide in. He was death.. destroyer of worlds tonight. He gives Blade a nod to show this kid was alright though he prob already knew,

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
That was strange. A magical trail leading off.. or on, depending how you looked at it. Being the curious sort, Willow began to wander off.. not that she intended to do so, it just happened. Hopefully somebody will bring her to her senses and wait for the others.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Hearing the child cry, Nick starts to make his way over to Spike and the child only to stop as Spike covers most of the distance. "She shouldn't linger down here." Nick comments, glancing to Buffy and the others, "I can take her topside at least. Back as soon as I can."

Constantine has posed:
Oh, well, that won't do. After John takes note of Blade's look and responds with a little wink, he notices a wayward Willow wandering off and mutters, "Bugger." He scoots post haste to catch up with her and reach out to stop her. That's when he's likely to notice that magic trail as well? "What are the rules about wandering off into dark, damp, creepy tunnels alone now, Willow?" ...we see the undertow and we say, LET'S GO! But now the trail has his curiosity piqued so he mutters, "Get behind me," and keeps on going thattaway. At the first sign of anything menacing lurking, he'll activate one of his pocket rings and reach out to snag Willow's hand. Of course that will just make both of them vanish from the sight of most of the people present.

Blade has posed:
Blade stays back, turning around to face where they came from. Still nothing: No scent, no movememnt, no sound, at least not vampires. He can't sense anything supernatural other than present company, "I don't like this. If we've been played for fools, I think we'll need to pay whoever the elder vampire of this city is a visit, and take him to court." Constantine and Spike probably know exactly what he's talking about.

"But I'm not letting my guard down yet.. if anything is close, they can hide from our senses, which means they already know we're here."

Spike has posed:
Spike hesitated before handing the little girl off to Nick. He didn't know the man's name. But he was here, no one else had said anything bad about him, so Spike trusted that the group knew him. He would try to hand the girl off the Nick, but of course, whether she was going to release her grip on Spike was up to her. Plus, what was he going to do topside, just take a seven year old, leave her on the sidewalk? "Court, what are you going to do, sue them?" Spike couldn't help that jibe, even with a little girl in tow.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"See?" Willow was curious, and thankfully Constantine had joined her. "It's almost like a fairy, but more so. See? How it goes, like it's floating here and there, but.. oh. I just thought of something. You don't think it was a trap for us."

After all, they were the only one able to see magic.

Deadpool has posed:
As Willow moves away he was about to follow her, but then Constantine followed instead. He looked at the two mages go though he looked like he didn't want to. He turns he did warn her but if she didn't listen to him there was nothing he could do, but hope it worked out. He glancd at Spike, "Not a mutant so I can't help sorry." though he does grin at the court.. joke. "Listen the only way that kid returns to normal is far away from any of us, you get that don't ya Spike?" he shrugs, "Think she could make it back, cause taking her with us is going to be troublesome. Maybe even damaging,"

Finally he turns o look back over at where Constantine and Willow went. "Dang it they are getting too far." he grumbles to whoever will listen. He looks at Blade with a nod, "I know you don't like backs, but comon.. If the magic gets hurt we are going to have a harder time with them." he says heading towards Constantine and Willow. He holds up a hand, "I know I know.. You will kill them all by yourself.. Well believe me in a nest the size to pull something like this." he waves his hands, "It will be nice to zap some of them away,"

Constantine has posed:
"Well, the very best way to deal with a bloody trap is to spring it," Constantine logics at Willow. It's actually very sound logic. It only becomes unsound if you spring the trap the wrong way. His voice is pitched low and when Wade comes about all babbling and loud, John ALMOST issues a stern 'shut up' warning, but then he has a better idea. He motions ahead, along the path the pretty little light is going and says, "Why don't you bounce on ahead of us mate." Very sound logic as long as you spring the trap the RIGHT way.

Blade has posed:
Seeing Spike care so much about a little girl, unknown to everyone here at the moment, causes Blade not to hate the vampire. It's a miracle really! But if anyone notices, he's not paying attention to Spike anymore, and his focus is on the surrounding corridors, shadowy corners, and narrow maintanence tunnels, "I still don't sense anything. Either we're a long way off the mark or they're hiding somehow. It's not good either way. If we're off track then they knew we were coming. If they're hiding themselves from us somehow then they knew we were coming."

He makes a pass around some of the dark corridors nearbye, "See what I mean? They won't attack us here. We need to keep moving."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"That's not very nice," whispers Willow to Constantine. But he had a point, and surely the both of them surely can get him out of trouble. Right? Mind you, she was more concerned with them than him. After all, it's them that were wandering off going who knows where..

Buffy Summers has posed:
"Ahchoo!"the girls utters in surprise as Wah douses her in holy water and frowns at him but doesn't sizzle. "Wah! Stop it!" she whines and counts to Spike more, a bit shy around all these strange people, some whom are quite well armed. Buffy nods to Nick, "Good idea, get her top side, see if you can find a parent or guardian to take her home. I've got my phone, keep in touch if we need back up."

As Willow and Constantine head off she frowns, "Hey what's going on? You sensing magic?" that could only mean..What, some one is performing rituals down here? As she follows after them, Spike and Blade may also pick up the scents of vampires and some other types of demons - Ghouls if they are familiar with them, in the same direction Willow and Constantine are heading.

This trail branches off a few times in multiple directions but with luck and following scent of magic, the party should have little trouble navigating the tunnels.

Eventually the path leads them away from subway tracks and down narrower paths, into the sewer tunnels and along streams of water. It'll take some 20 or so minutes of steady walking before sounds can be heard, a lot of sounds, screaming people, vampires snarling, and steady chanting. There are large double doors leading into a massive room which might once have been an abandoned underground train station. Entering this way is a bit risky given what's behind the door.

There are smaller grated windows and a locked back door also leading into the large dimly lit room up ahead. One might get a good glimpse of what's going on in one of those windows.

Spike has posed:
With Buffy approving of Nick's plan, Spike would hand the girl over, but not by force. She had to want to go, "He is going to take you up to the street level, while we look for the people who took your mother." He again made no promise, but said it in a way that was meant to be reassuring, and suggesting that they were going to succeed.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick gives a nod, looking to the girl as Spike tries to pass her off to him. "Hey there," He greets, voice low but tone friendly "I'm Nick." After a bit of coddeling the child eventually relents, making him able to carry her. After giving her some quiet instructions to where she closes her eyes and leans in, he runs forward, closes his own eyes, and jumps up.

Through the ceiling.

And onwards.

With the kid.

The f-?

Constantine has posed:
When they finally make it to what appears to be their destination, what with the sounds and the door... that's still off a little bit in the distance, John raises his hand... STOP, don't move another muscle stay right where you are if you move so help me God I will curse you to the darkest of days... He says ALL of that with just that one hand. ...and then he vanishes. At least to anyone that's a supernatural being.
Once invisible, he walks up to the door and studies it for a moment or three, if there's a gap beneath it, he'll forgo the window looking in favor of pulling what appears to be a Cat's Eye stone from his pocket and rolling it through the gap. That eye now becomes his eyes, with all of his mystical senses in tact to boot. Just a little something he found in his new house, one of the few items he could figure out.

Blade has posed:
Blade watches as the girl is passed off to Nick. There's nothing now that can be used against them, unless someone is stupid enough to get taken hostage of course. He can smell the traces of vampire and ghoul at this point, "It's not just vampires." He's blunt, to the point, pulling no punches, "Ghouls."

"Ask Buffy if you don't know what ghouls are. I'm not an encyclopedia." He sniffs a couple of times, taking in the awful scent, "Don't envy me." He's showing actual personality now, is that a joke? He presses on, assuming that everyone else is breaking 'camp' as well.

Deadpool has posed:
Deadpool looks over at Constantine, then at Willow.. He sighs a bit, "You know... I have other uses... Fine." he looks at Buffy, "You got my back right?" and then looks ahead the way those two are going. He changes the strap to hold Buffy Jr. taking out the chainsaw. He looks at the ground "Those people are already dead all we can do is try to save who we can. Get ready, they may not know all of us are here.. I will get their attention you do the rest.". He revs his chainsaw... "Deeeaaaaaaadpool..... Jinkins.." as he revs it, and runs down the path towards he double doors.

His plan was to launch himself at the doors to burst it open chainsaw revving. Only to run at the door hopefully avoiding Constantine, since he can't see invisiable.. He smashes into the door, and bounces off a bit.. He stops and grins, "Comon you stupid door." and brings his chainsaw down on it to cut a hole right through the middle of it. Cutting a hole through it he sticks his face to the hole.. "Heeeereee's Wade." hopefully able to see through the door now. If nothing stops him, he is going to use the chainsaw to cut the rest of the door away to make a hole for him to climb through but it is going to take a moment as he is going to hack at the door again and again to do so.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
And Willow? Now that she has a better idea of what they are up against, she holds her place and prepares some warding for the rest of the group.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers takes up the rear now, letting the vamps and wizards do their thing. When John tells her to stop, she nods wordlessly and freezes, holding her axe tightly in one hand, waiting to see what he does next.

She just nods slowly to Blade as he reveals new info. Her people know ghouls, she has faith in them. Now it's up to Constantine...

And then of course Wade does something Stupid, and all hell breaks loose. Screams, human screams can be heard, and maybe a glimpse of what's going on inside. Some sort of ritual on the central stage, hostages behind a magic barrier. Lots and lots of vampires and ghouls, some feeding on humans on the upper level. Oh, and four cages along the walls, holding prisoners.

Its hard for anyone but Constantine to make out more than a flurry of ritual magic and lots of vamps, ghouls and human prisoners though, and when Wade breaks down the door, a number of those vamps and ghouls start charging towards the door and him, a few attempting to grab him and pull him fully inside with them.

Constantine has posed:
Really? Did that REALLY JUST HAPPEN? Did that circus clown just blow any chance they had at a surprise attack? Son of a BITCH that asshole just made things HARD. John lets out a growl and raises his hands over his head. Magic on the fly is tough, especially powerful magic and especially offensive magic. He chants a few words, his voice raising to a bellow with the last one and throws his hands forward... Hellfire spews from his outstretched hands with enough concussive force and power to ... well, take care of the rest of the door, the vampires just on the other side of it and... poor Wade! Unless he moves, really quickly.
...John staggers a little when it's over but presses forward preparing another spell to take care of those wards. "Willow! Little help!"

Blade has posed:
Blade just.. laughs as Constantine unleashes hellfire on Deadpool. He would have to admit, that was a really stupid move, and if Constantine wants to do what everyone else is thinking in response? More power to him! Blade stops laughing in time to see baked vampire ashes and bones blowing away from the 'wind' created by the inferno.

Once that passes and it's safe to move on without being scorched, he brings his weapons up. As far as he is concerned, Constantine's actions are his own, and Blade is not here to play the morality police. The vampires and ghouls are his target. Buffy can deal with him if she wants to. He will open fire on the first vampire or ghoul that comes within his line of sight.

Spike has posed:
There was a time where Spike would be surprised at a bloke going through the ceiling with a minor, but those days were long since past. He just went with it. Besides, he was about to have bigger problems, like Deadpool unleashing hell, or the next best thing. "All right," Spike said rather enthusiastically, figuring that he could hurt these beings without his chip going off. He rushed in, wanting to pick a fight with the first thing, vampire, zombie, ghoul, whatever, that comes up to him. He takes a few blows, giving his own, and starts to make his way into the fray, laughing and smiling. He was enjoying this. They were saving the world, or at least the subway.

Deadpool has posed:
Wade stands to look at all the people charging him, and laughs. "Now this is what I am talking about." turning to look back at the others he gives out a.. "Shit." before he disapears in hellfire like all the other vampires around. When it ends Deadpool is no-where to be found gone. Maybe his parts are hidden under the mass off the charging enemies, but for now he is gone the only two things that make it through are Buffy Jr, which he tosses away before the flames hits, and a broken Chainsaw which he didn't have time to.

Deadpool wakes up he is 'sitting' next to a large person covered in black and is nothing morethen Bone as he smiles up at her. "Oh hi again!" and waves though the figure just looks at him. It says nothing as he explains whats going on in great detail with explosion noises, and throwing some... dust.. he wasn't sure what it was into the air as it sparked to his story. Still the figure did not speak back to him.

Then DP frowns and talks to her about a specific magic user that was a bit of a dick, that killed him this time, and the skeleten also frowns though it says nothing as he continues. Finally as the stories start to reach their end the large skelton lady reaches out a hand. As it touches the side of his face in a carressing way Deadpool smiles, and says "I know.. But even this will not work forever." then the voice of something he could never match to anything else booms "Wade you are needed!" is all it says.

Then he is back, battle going around all around him.. He had most of his body though it burnt, and he seemed to be naked for some reason. It seems that his regeneration was kicking it up a notch, as parts were already back mostly though it hurt to just move. He was skipped obviously dead he looked up at the ceiling with a sigh, "Damn it.. I live again." he says in a low voice looking to see where his weapons went now that he was back.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Dagnabbit!" Wade. The wardings were in place, but it was probably more useful for Willow to *explode* the ghouls with force lightning. For the number of times she had used it, Xander *might* have made a small error.. or else he was only joking. She began to cast her most favorite spell: force lighting.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Well, the thing about being charged with the well being of a child is- One does not simply leave a child alone topside. No. Prior to leaving, there must be the transfer of responsibility to another adult. An adultier adult. Preferablly a known guardian or in a pinch, law enforcement officer. Can you guess how many that fit such criteria Nick found the moment he got topside?

ZILCH.

Okay, time to look around some more...

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers just sighs and shakes her head as Deadpool bursts in, "Well..So much for the element of surprise." she looks around and frowns, "Alright, Willow, help Constantine bring down that magic barrier. Dunno what they're planning with that ritual and those statues but it can't be good!" fortunately Willow manages to pulverize a few ghouls that are heading for John and and she nods, stepping in between the remaining demons and Willow and John, "Go ahead, help Constantine, I got this!"

She whips out her axe, swinging it in expert circles around the ghouls and vamps that approach the pair. "Spike, back me up! Deadpool, Blade, focus on freeing the prisoners. They're our priority!"

Even as she speaks, the spell is already underway. A loud *crack* can be heard as two of the statues start to break open, freeing their slumbering prisoners. Two corresponding sacrifices are made as the vampire dark priests slit the throats of two victims. But there are still others to save..

Constantine has posed:
"Sol!" that ones a simple one and it activates his other spelled ring. Now Constantine has all of his concentration on channeling the spell in that ring into laser focused bursts of sunlight rather than one big honkin' ass ball of it that wouldn't be kind to Spike. Pewpew, it's like little leaser beams of sunshine and he's aiming for soft, squish vamp and ghoul eyes with them.
...and then he stops the offensive and goes perfectly still. His eyes close and his lips move, but he's not making a sound. He's exposed and vulnerable and completely lost in his spell work. He's examining that ward, the magic used to cast it and ripping it apart rather haphazardly but it's working. It's not graceful or refined, but it's working... The wards crackle and pop and snap, glowing bright in spots and fading in others, pulsing...

Blade has posed:
Blade is gunning down every vampire and ghoul in sight at this point. He hasn't had to draw his katana yet because he is much faster than anything he's come across so far. It's easy to keep out of reach and gun down whatever he's facing. The ghouls however, seem to be getting back up after being gunned down, so he has to put one SMG away, and draw his katana. Ghouls are decapitated at close range, vampires are gunned down by wooden bullets. When the SMG runs out of ammo, he drops it and pulls out his tactical shotgun, which has wooden buckshot loaded.

The fight continues!

Spike has posed:
Spike was having a lot of fun using his fists, elbows, head, knees, feet, and anything else he could think of, to just bash, smash, and beat the hell out of these demons. But as Buffy calls him to watch her back, he finishes off the creepy crawly he had been playing with, and moves towards her, following her orders, or request, whatever it was, and moving into a position where he could help her be the best slayer she could be. All the while he was keeping an eye on Willow, since she was all right, less of a fighter, and he knew Buffy would be upset if anything happened to her.

Deadpool has posed:
Now naked, and in the middle of the fight DP had some decisions to make, for some reason since he was burnt beyond reconition, had holes in him most of the ghouls just thought he was another ghoul. So he hides himself in the crowd away from the others, the ones that rather burn him then let him take the brunt of the charge while they blast. Strangly Buffy Jr disapears as the crowd goes over it though it is just another mangled arm, and though many have seen him in his outfit. He isn't even sure anyone would reconize him outside of it.. At least in this crowd.

So he dodged magic and bullets sometimes getting hit when they thought they were just shooting another ghoul. He stops another ghoul, and points up at the cages. He says in a gutteral voice as his voice box is still a little messed up. "Master wants.." and moves around to do so using the Ghouls to do his work as he limps skips around using the choas to hide his doing.

So though he is hidden in the crowd, not really working with them, he is freeing the people like Buffy wanted waiting for whoever to shoot the people freeing them before they could be lead back to the masters themselves. For now he was incogneto, and getting in place to try to find the one behind all this as there was always some leader. He was going to take him out with a wooden spike through the heart.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
The force lighting crackled about Willow's body and left her time and time again. For the moment she was filled with energy. As each hand began to crackle and release, the other hand was already preparing for the next round.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Daddy!"

"ISABEL!"

As little Isabel is left to reunite with her father, Mr. Sutton. Nick waves off and dives back down. Bringing him back a little ways from where he started from. Due to the lack of a magic sense, Nick is left to use a different sense to figure out where to go.

Fortunately Wade is QUITE noisy.

Unfortunately. No one needs to be seeing Wade as he was right this moment. "Seriously?!"

Buffy Summers has posed:
As Buffy and Spike, and apparently Willow too, defend Constantine, his unraveling spell is slowly working to break down the shield. Bit can it get there in time? Two down, five to go. The spell casters are already about to sacrifice victim number three, and just manage to down the fourth, freeing two more vampire lords of their statues, before he breaks through. The vampire priests peer back at Constantine, angered at the intrusion and rush at him, ritual knives gleaming as the surround him.

Meanwhile, people are screaming behind their prisons,, not sure what to make of their unusual rescuers but they reach towards Blade and Deadpool all the same. "Help us!" they scream. Two cages are opened and the prisoners spill out, leaving two remaining cages. But vamps are already chasing after the fleeing prisoners, even as ghouls and more vamps continue to swarm Wade and Deadpool. No one has noticed Nick's arrival..lYet..

Constantine has posed:
Constantine is still standing there, eyes closed, still exposed and lost in his casting. He's actually starting to sweat a little bit around his brow. ...because he's not just trying to rip open the wards...
When the wards finally fall, it won't be a quiet fade into the night. It will be a loud SNAP POP as they burst outward. The energy that had been used to cast them will be in John's control and he will use that, follow it. He follows it to the source of the spell in his mind's eye. If the caster is here, they're about to have a very bad day. If the caster isn't here, he'll know the magic signature and be able to find it easily again.
... but, short version good news, the wards are DOWN so go to town on whatever needs killed behind them.

Blade has posed:
Blade leaps twenty feet into the air, away from the prisoners now swarming out of their cages, because he can't help them, and he doesn't need them getting in his way. He won't be responsible for killing innocent humans during a battle, he draws the line there, and he assumes that Buffy feels the same way. When he lands, he grins at the 'bosses' hiding behind the wards. From the look of things, they're gone now, and yes they are about to have a bad day, regardless of whether they created the spell or not.

Blade leaps again, holstering his shotgun, and landing within the ritual space. His katana sings.. it's a loud chorus. Undead necks are aimed at, no matter who they are, no matter what they look like. The fleeing prisoners are beyond his ability to help but he can at least slaughter as many of their captors as he can. Whether the source of this mess is killed, or not, will be determined after the battle is over. For now Blade is satisfied that the source of tonight's skirmish is being dealt with. Obviously they are stronger and he doesn't just steamroll over them.

Spike has posed:
Spike had no range weapons, and he was even worse against magic, but anyone that came near Buffy, Willow, or now Constantine, was going to get an angry fist, or some fangs, for their trouble, although he usually fought without the fangs. Biting a demon wasn't very appetizing to him, and it was absolutely pointless against his own kind. He would kick one of them in the chest, sending it flailing backwards, "yeah, you like that," he gloated, before he was rushed by another one, which he pummelled even as being driven to the floor.

Deadpool has posed:
As the people are freed, and just fighting to survive this madness, some even clinging to him though he knocks them off with little to no effort as they were caged for who knows how long, and he has his muscles back! He moves forward hoping that they will get out, but there was no-way he could save them really as these things were faster, and stronger then he was it was an effort just to kill them especially the older ones. So he actually does a lot like Blade.

As the naked man jumps up on the sacrifice table he gets a shot off one, and there is a sound a "wheeee" that sounds like a party whistle as he winds it back, the arrow being put back in place he jumps backwards as the other elder moves in a swirl of movement its hand over Deadpools neck with a vise grip though he turns to dust as the bow goes off again. He stands ready to move, when he is hit again the bones shattering as he falls... Looking to his side he gets a confused look... "Blade... Fancy meeting you here.." as he is yanked away again and thrown bearly keeping his weapon in his hands as he flies away hitting the ceiling then dropping to the floor again.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Again and again Willow threw her force lighting around. If they were still, she hit them. If they were trying to get out of somebody's road, she hit them. If they were trying to escape.. well, you can imagine.

Willow was high on adrenaline, and power. Mostly power. Just her regular old spells, but for some reason, she had figured it out.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
A bit late to the party but not blind to the vampires in pursuit of the humans running away from the scene. Nick's eyes narrow. He's already come across a rather upset child and the sight of what that kid had to watch is more than enough to piss him off. Combined with the other stuff going on in his life and well-

The musician runs forward, a shadow of darkness traveling along his clothing and skin as they form together. By the time he reaches the first vampire, the shrouded figure is already sweeping the lengthy sharp claw along the creature's neck. Glowing eyes narrow from the abyss under the hood as jagged teeth lets out a low snarl. The other clawed hand swipes by, completing the job as the head is messily taken from the neck.

Dropping the body. The phantasm punts the head before going after the next vampire he sees.

Constantine has posed:
They're here, the ones responsible for the wards. John's eyes are still closed, he's still sweaty and he's even a little pale now. But he smiles, an almost sinister little smile. He's got'm. He suddenly jerks his hands up and then back down and out. When he does so, the vampire priests rushing at John just fall to their knees, hands pressed to the sides of their heads, faces contorted in agony from the mystical psychic back lash John just caused them. So caught up, he was so distracted, so lost in the spell casting that he STILL doesn't notice that one of them managed to get close enough to stab him in the side with a ritual dagger. He doesn't even realize he's been stabbed when he falls to one knee. He's just exhausted from the spell right? Both knees, then face first on the ground. Constantine is down for the count.

Buffy Summers has posed:
There's a lot of chaos and a lot of killing going on. And as reinforcements arrive, Buffy focuses instead on helping get people to safety. She clears a path, swiping her battle axe this way and that as she helps people out the exit.

Willow and Spike do a good job of destroying any vamps that get too close to Constantine and it seems that his spell backfires back on the ward casters, sending most of them blasted back and sizzling in smoke. But of course one or two get through to stab him..

Deadpool, Phantasm and Blade do a good job of cleaning up, freeing the remaining prisoners and destroying a good chunk of the vampire army.

Problem is, there are so darn many..And that's when the four previously imprisonned Vampire Lords awaken and peer out at the destruction of their army. One of them, a young and beautiful woman, petite wuth mocha skin and long black braids, lifts a hand. "Enough! This is not our battle.." she closes her eyes and flicks a wrist, teleporting the four Lords and a fraction of their army with her. When the dust settles, there's a growing pile of Ghoul bodies and vampire dust every where. And thankfully at least most of the prisoners escaped alive. It's not a total victory but many lives were saved tonight..

Constantine has posed:
Constantine... is stabbed and bleeding and unconscious. Might be best to drop him at an ER and RUN before he wakes up.

Spike has posed:
Even before he got the chip, Spike wasn't above killing his own kind. Usually it was because they were stupid, they annoyed him, or he was bored. But now, he relishes it. He loved to fight. It was when he felt the most alive. So he was in his element, ripping the heads off vampires, staking them, dealing with some of the other nasties, doing his part. But he couldn't completely let loose. He had to guard Constantine, so every time he stepped out a bit too far, he would reel himself back in. He would however do a neat leap, almost horizontal, as he tackled a vampire that was coming up behind Buffy. They would roll, until they were both impaled on some shrapnel, the other vampire through the heart, Spike's was offset. His eyes bugged out, "the things I do for love," he whispered to himself, likely going unheard amidst the sounds of battle, and would extricate himself from it as quickly and carefully as he could. Soon, he would be back in the fray, though his coat was going to need some repairs. Maybe Willow or Constantine could do it with magic?

Blade has posed:
Blade lands HARD where one of the four vampire lords were standing less than a second before. His katana is driven through the ground. It was supposed to go through the top of the female's skull as he landed. Blade roars and rips the katana out of the ground. It's about time for a dose of serum. Realizing this calms him down.

He announces to the rest of the party, "I am going to find them. And then I am going to find New York's master, elder, whatever they call themselves. I'm going to make sure this doesn't happen again." He sheathes the katana and looks at Buffy, then at Spike, "I just need to know who's with me? Or do you have a plan already? At this point I don't care who takes point. This is getting shut down one way or the other."

Deadpool has posed:
From behind Willow comes a shot.. It is so close she can hear the wood whistle as it passes her to shoot the Ghoul that just took Constantine. Standing behind her as his bones are snapping back into shape is a broken, and naked Wade, as he puts a hand on her shoulder he whispers. "You done it... Reel it back in.. You got this." to her in a calm voice as the magic is starting to surge he isn't sure if she has full control or is just leting it run wild. He does spot one of the four Lords, and aims taking a shot though they disapear before it could get there the time needed to kill the one close was too much time for him to get another shot.

He looks at Willow and grins not realizing his gear is gone. "Breath.. it is all good you saved the people, and won the day.." he gives Constantine good kick while he is able.. "And that is for blowig me up ya Ass.." let him enjoy the nice shiner while he is at it. He looks over at Buffy senior, "Hey... I am done.. I am going home..Spike, make sure they get back alright" he sighs as he turns around putting Buffy Jr on his arm he starts walking away like this never happened he even whistles a little bit as he walks down the dark tunnels returning to his car outside. He was naked, covered in goo, and blood, and who knew what else.. He had been killed almost twice in a night, and tossed around like a rag doll.. Good times.. Good times.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
And then it was done.

Willow still was flushed with power, but didn't need to use the spells any more. (bummer) Eventually she, and slowly, she returned to normal. And was appalled.. and a tiny bit pleased that she done it.

"Everything is normal now?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Anger satiated for a moment the clawed shadowman gives a low growl as he punts another vampire head. He glances around the terrain once more, finding nothing left to attack. With a low rumble, the creature walks past the remaining fleeing persons, pausing to look to a woman who looks familiar. "Isabel with father." The voice gruffly states to the woman before continuing on.

As the figure steps closer to those gathered, the shadow starts to melt away, revealing the mirrored form of Nick once more. Upon the view of Constantine lying on the ground coming to view, he picks up his pace. "Oh for fu-" He takes a look to the stab wound and the knife, "I'll take him to a hospital."

Bringing his hands over to Constantine, he starts to lend some of his ability towards the magic user. While Constantine may not be aware of it, the flow of the blood from the wound seemingly stops while the musician lifts up the larger man with little effort.

Not waiting for confirmation from Buffy, he and Constantine fade away from the scene, taking the dream express route.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Once the immediate danger has cleared, Buffy checks on her allies, and he4 eyes widen, stepping quickly towards Constantine. "Hey! Are you...?" But it looks like Nick has taken matters into his own hands. Buffy knows he's in safe hands but will have to pay him a visit at the hospital soon.

Once that's dealt with, she glances at the others! nodding to the others and sighs, "Not a total victory but we saved lives. Good job everyone". she nods to Blade in particular. "Seems we have a lot of notes to compare. Hit me up in Bludhaven's Magic Box or Blue Lady any time. Today's battle was a victory but I have a feeling the war is far from over.."

It takes her a moment to notice Spike and his grace wound and she blinks in surprise, rushing maybe too quickly to his side. "Oh my gosh..Spike! Are you okay?" best get him home too...ugh..
