Cast of Characters: Rogue, Vitali Svyatoslav, Xiang Zhao

Rogue has posed:
Day three from rescuing Vitali and Zhao, and Rogue is back again with another tray of food and drink offerings. She steps into the cabin, sets the tray of food on the table and then removes her gloves to wash her hands and put on the medical gloves she's tucked into her pocket. It's just better this way - or so she's convinced herself.

Unsure if either is awake, she'll be as quiet as she possibly can while checking banana and saline bags, but if they're empty she's unsure if she should change them or not. Instead, she moves to begin heating up some broth, and there's also other things that she may have asked Vitali and Zhao if they would like to eat or drink that she could likely acquire.

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
The medical gloves may or may not be a necessary thing or a better thing, it's hard to say. The sound of hands being washed might not be an overly loud sound, but it is enough to cause Vitali to stir a little bit where he sleeps beneath the quilt on the bed. One of his hands is reached over for his fingers to be resting on Zhao's, tucked around his hand. He gives a little murmur of sound, all quiet and soft, and then his lashes flicker and open. Much as before when he woke, it's towards Zhao that he looks first.

Soraya swooped into the cabin right on Rogue's heels, practically, and she wings her way over to land on the rail at the foot of the bed. She clicks her beak once, flipping her wings to her back, and then she lightly hops down to the bed. Carefully, she hops her way up the bed, to be closer to her human, her feathers a little bit fluffed. It's better than them being slicked down! Vitali lifts his free hand to lightly stroke his fingers over Soraya's back, the touch earning a soft sound from the raptor.

Xiang Zhao has posed:
On a normal day, Xiang Zhao is quite a light sleeper. This hasn't been the case the last three days. Not so today. Today, the moment the door opens his eyes open. He turns his head toward the sound, dark eyes looking to see who and what. Sink. Hands being washed. These are familiar sounds. His eyes close again, and he relaxes again.

When his hand is squeezed, his dark eyes open once more, and he glances to the side, to Vitali. "Ah'Tali," he murmurs, blinking his eyes slowly. Clearly, he's not entirely present just yet. And how long he'll stay awake this time is anyone's guess.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue comes back over to the beds where the men are laying, offering them both a gentle smile. "Hello. How are you two feeling today? Any better?" Asking this while she motions. "I've brought some more food and drink...broth, water, meats, cheese..." This much said as she then spies Soraya who ducked into the cabin just behind her. "Ah, I did figure your companion wasn't too far away, I've got some raw meat cut into chunks if that will suffice for her." And then she quiets herself to await any requests or comments. Even snide remarks.

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
There's a small smile that finds the corners of his lips as he looks towards Zhao, and he gives a little bit of a nod. "Zhaoshenka," he whispers softly, his hand remaining paired to Zhao's. It's been something of a constant, that touch. Save for when he's needed to use both of his hands, and even then he's tried to make do with only one out of sheer stubborn determination. How long either of them ends up staying awake is always questionable.

Soraya stays close against him, settling herself near to his shoulder. A feathery and warm presence there, and in her own ways, a form of comfort to him. Vitali shifts a little bit, moving with a bit of a wince to end up getting himself sitting up. And he gives a small nod to Rogue. "Am feeling little better, da. Sleep much. Have many thanks to give, for food, for shelter. Have shown very much kindness," Vitali says quietly. He glances towards Soraya, and then looks over to Rogue again before giving a small nod. "Raw meat good, da. Soraya will eat. Is good eagle."

Xiang Zhao has posed:
There are no snide remarks forthcoming from Xiang Zhao. He glances from the Siberian to the woman. Rogue, he vaguely recollects. "I feel... more awake, I think. For now. Some water, maybe?" Probably wiser to start with that, at this point, and branch out from there. "And yes, thank you, for everything. I am grateful."

Zhao shifts on the bed and moves to sit himself up. He pulls the blanket up, this time with just the arm with the needle in it, leaving his other where it is, hand being held by Vitali's.

Rogue has posed:
"I'm glad you're both feeling a bit better. You both seem to be on the better side of mendin'." Rogue offers this and then makes two glasses of water, and grabs the bowl of raw meat. As she comes closer to the beds, closer to the men, in the better lighting they can likely see her face is a bit bruised - mostly the middle of her forehead - and there's a couple cuts on her cheeks. She doesn't have accelerated healing like some of her companions, but despite what could very well look like wounds that would put someone normal out for a few days, these obviously fresh wounds don't seem to be more than facial decor to the woman. "Water and meat for the bird. Also, it's no issue. We surely don't mind gettin' ya both up on your feet again." She smiles. "An' I don't mind bringin' ya foods and drinks. Blame it on my southern ways."

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
Moving too much still hurts, for the bruises that he's suffered are yet healing. The Siberian does the best he can to keep his weight from his bruised hip, as that's the worst for him. And he gives a little bit of a nod, agreeing with Zhao's assessment. "Feel like... have slept for long time," he says softly, a little smile tugging at the corners of his lips. The antibiotics have had time to work, and he's actually not looking as horribly pale as what he had been when they'd first been rescued. He doesn't look as sick, either, and the fever has eased a bit.

Vitali tilts his head faintly to one side at Rogue's words, and then he gives a small nod. "Have hurts, still, but... da, am better. Feel less fever," he says softly, after considering his well-being for a moment. He notices the cuts, the bruising to her face, and there's a flicker of curiosity that touches his dark eyes. "Something happen...? Have hurts?" he asks softly. He isn't sure if he feels up to working a healing, just now. He lightly strokes Soraya's feathers again, watching her a moment. He had worried her, but she seems to forgive him for it easily. "Home is far north. Many places south," Vitali says.

Rogue has posed:
"Well from what I understand, you and your friend have been sleepin' for the better parts of the day the last three days. Only waking up when someone like myself or our doctor is here checking on you." This offered and she notes how Vitali is looking, but there isn't much she can or can't do at this point. She's neither doctor, nor healer. She's just the one making sure these two stay fed.

A nod is given as Vitali confirms he still has hurts but he's feeling better, less feverish. That's good too. When she notices he's seen her face, she raises a brow and then gives a sort of 'ah' sound and nods her head. "Oh yeah. I got a bit beat up last night. We had to deal with some...off world beings. I'm fine though. Ain't much that can really take me down and these wounds'll heal, yeah?" A thought. "Oh, well, I'm from a southern state. It's just a hop and a skip from here, really."

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
There's a small nod from Vitali as he listens to what Rogue has said. "Da, sleep much. Before, not sleep much. Now, catch up," he says, a thoughtful tone coming to his voice. He doesn't have a clear recollection of all of the time he'd spent as the snow leopard, but he remembers being tired. He remembers being hurt, and he remembers being sick. The IV has been helping, as have the antibiotics, the sleep, and the food. Being with Zhao has also helped.

He tilts his head a little bit to one side, considering her words, and then he gives a small nod. "Am sorry, for hurts," he says softly, lifting his free hand to gesture towards her. "Would offer heal, if was better... can heal. Bad idea, right now. Would have offer heal to Zhaoshenka, if was better idea," he adds, ducking his chin slightly. His brow furrows a little bit, and he gives a small shake of his head. "Am not knowing other states. Am sorry," he offers apologetically, a bit sheepishly.
