Date of Scene: 15 May 2021
Location: Midvale, New Troy
Synopsis: Kara and Owen try to answer life's little questions.
Cast of Characters: Captain Boomerang, Supergirl

Captain Boomerang has posed:
Captain Boomerang had been on a stakeout, watching the unloading of a shipment, but hadn't really gleamed much from it. Nothing unusual happened during it, no crates were marked oddly, and he had been interrupted by Supergirl, whom he recognized from the club. On the way back to his apartment, he wondered if such things were common in the superhero business? He was still pretty new to it. But they had talked about ordering pizza.

When she let him down on the balcony of his apartment, he opened the unlocked door, beginning to de-boomerang himself, since that way he could reasonably answer the door when the pizza came, although they would have to order it first. "Make yourself at home," he said as he was putting away his boomerangs in a drawer that seemed to be specially made for them, "and where do you want to order the pizza from?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles a bit as she lands on his balcony and follows after him. "Hmm.lMaybe I should have gone home and changed first. I didn't exactly bring a change of clothes you know? So.." she shrugs, peering around, and flops on the comfy sofa, "Ooh what a nice place you have. Hmm.lI have no preference really, I like all pizza!" she chuckles.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Oh, no need to change on my account, you look great, and seeing as we both uh, know, not much need to hide it anymore, is there?" This was such a strange evening. "Just, you might want to slip into another room when the delivery person shows up, or else I'd have some very unusual questions to answer." He laughed, before he grabbed the pile of delivery menu's, each with numbers, and joined her on the couch. "I don't know about you, but I love cold pizza too, so usually I end up ordering two myself, that way there are plenty of leftovers. Maybe a New York Deli and a Tropical Hawaiian?" He suggested, "unless you're one of those people who hates pineapple on a pizza? in which case, I promise to never have it again." He was saying that as if it was a joke.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers hmms and nods, unhooking her cape and hanging it on a nearby hook. "That's a bit better. It's too bad I can't just rearrange my clothes like some people." she chuckles but shrugs. "Cold pizza? Didnt know that was a thing..But I've always liked Hawaiian myself. Still, this was your idea Soo..Surprise me?" she grins and nods, "Sounds perfect to me."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"You haven't tried day old pizza? Pizza for breakfast is amazing." Okay, he was overselling it, but it was good. "Some people put left over pizza in the fridge, and eat it actually cold. You can reheat it in the microwave, or leave it out to get to room temperature. Other folks just leave it on the countertop and have it the next day. Doesn't last as long the second way, but it's good for the next, two even. With her approval, he would order, using his mobile phone, and then announce, "done, should be here in 42 minutes. Which means it could be here in 30, an hour, or anywhere in between." He would take off his jacket and scarf, hanging them next to Supergirl's cape. "Would you like to watch some Netflix? Have you ever seen Rake?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers peers curiously at him, a smile creeping over her lips, "Wow, you sure must love pizza. And I thought only the teenage mutant ninja turtles loved it that much!" she chuckles, "You really are a funny guy..And I'm just dying to know everything else about you.." she quirks a brow, "Rake? What's that?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"An Australian legal? comedy, drama, dramedy? You'll love it." And he boots up the system, pulling up the summary, which says the first episode is called 'R v Murray' with the description, 'Cleaver is presented with a case he can't resist when a world-renowned economist is accused of cannibalism.' "Honestly, it's more on the comedy aspect, with some seriousness. Kind of like Better Call Saul, but nowhere near as violent."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers oohs, "Australian television huh? That's cool. I always found Australia to be interesting, like, you must get tired of the kangaroo and boomerang jokes though!" she smirks, getting comfy on the sofa. "Go for it."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Oh, what would you like to know?" He leaves the screen paused, enjoying talking to her rather than talking over a show for now. "Not really, nobody has ever actually told me a joke about a boomerang throwing kangaroo. I'd love to hear it if you've got one." He settled in beside her, and he would hit play for the first episode.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers hmms, "Well, I guess I just want to know more about you, your dreams and aspirations..What compelled you, son of a super villain, to become a force for good?" she blinks and covers her mouth, "Oh wow, I'm an idiot. I guess that's probably a touchy subject for you, huh?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
It was, but he hid it well. Some humans, well, people, since humans and Kryptonians were so similar, facial structure and such wise, would tell from the tweak here and there, the slightly clenched teeth, but he opened it into a smile, "dreams and aspirations? Not sure I have them. Not yet. I'm just a bloke trying to get by. I mean, you know, the usual, girlfriend, wife someday, a home that isn't just an apartment, but really lived in, friends, family, a better job. I work at the local cinema." His face sort of looked weird as he tried to think of how to describe it. "I'm officially a crew member, but they pay me better, and ask me to do way more things, except I don't get the title, so I'm not sure exactly what my job is. Same question back at ya." And he tried to put an arm around her, seeing how she would react. He was fearless in that though.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles, "Really? You seem so..So down to earth and practical. But your average guy doesn't just go out and decide to be a hero. And honestly, it's hard. Heck, when I first started, I was a total mess. Believe me, Superman makes it look sooo easy. And when everything you touch or knock or bump too hard can turn dust, you have to be extra careful. Guess that whole power with responsibility thing says a lot.."

She sighs, leaning in a little to him, enjoying his nearness perhaps, and not the least bit bothered by his arm around her shoulders. "It's sounds like the perfect life.." she smiles, "I work at a media company, mostly I'm an assistant to this really stuck up bossy devil wears leads type boss, but, it pays well...And sometimes she has surprisingly insightful advice. One day I'd like to be a journalist, write stories for her magazine. I love writing."

She smiles, "Movie theatre huh? That's gotta be exciting! Ooh, I'll bet you get to see lots of good movies for free, huh.."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Pretty much, but these days, if you know where to look, you can find almost anything for free online." And then he added, "not that I would ever do that," his father was a criminal, maybe he wasn't entirely pure. "We live in a hectic enough life, it's kind of nice to have some normalcy. And for the record, I'm above average." He winks, seems to have some of his father's cockiness too, just not as much. "So, if you were to give me a hug, would I have to worry about being crushed? What about a kiss? Would that hurt my lips? Maybe something simple, a handshake? Am I going to need to ice my wrist after it?" He was playing of course, but also curious about how much control she had. She seemed to be perfect to him, but she would know better. "What kind of a journalist? Investigative reporter? Columnist? Business? Sports? Lifestyle? Gossip?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers hmmms , "When I first decided to become a superhero, I had already been in hiding for several years. It took me a long while to get a handle on my powers but I was raised in a farm away from people. So I got to learn and make mistakes in a wide open area that allowed room for error.."

She chuckles, leaning into him a little, a playful smile on her lips, "I assure you, you're safe. I can control my powers, even if I'm not as experienced as Superman.." as for her job, she shrugs, "I guess I'd love to write investigative studies, I'm still in college too and this is an Internship so nothing is stutter in stone yet..How about you, got any future plans? you know, besides what you;just told me?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"A farm huh. I grew up in a city, but in Australia, farmland isn't hard to find. All the big cities are along the coast, even Perth," that was the second time tonight that he had singled out Perth with a slight jab. "So, it's city, farmland, desert. Not much to do in the interior. They tell me it's not as hot as the sun, but I'm not sure their instruments are accurate enough to make the distinction."

He leaned into her in reply as she leaned into him, enjoying that playful smile on her lips. He was about to kiss her and try it out, but she had to explain he was safe, before going onto talking about her studies. He opened his mouth, "well," and then there was a knock at the door, "pizza's here. You may want to slip into the other room," and he got up, heading towards the door, getting his wallet ready.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers oohs, "That does it then, we gotta go visit Australia soon..!" she smiles almost expectantly then, but then he pulls away and pizza's here. "Ooh it's okay.." she's not much for hiding and decides to sink down in her seat a bit instead. Without the cape and without seeing head on, she should be fine.."Mmm smells good!"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
With the angle, the pizza guy might have seen the red skirt, blue top, and 'S' on her chest, but with her sticking around, Owen tried not to open the door entirely, leaving it partially closed, and his body in place to protect her from being noticed. Which was easier said than done, with how noticeable Kara was. He would pay for the food, exchanging the merest of pleasantries, and close the door again. He seemed to give a 20% tip. A moment later, he set the pizza boxes on the coffee table, and would grab two plates, as well as napkins. "Fine by me. It's a big country though. Might take a while to explore it all."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers does her best to hug her arms, covering the S on her chest. When the food is ready, she leans over the table, reaching for a plate and a slice-or two, "Thanks! how much do I owe you?" she shrugs, "It's okay, I have all the time in the world and I Love exploring. It'll be fun! One day.." she smiles as she works on her pizza. "And thanks for inviting me over. It's been a really random day!"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"You don't owe me anything, but a third date would be nice," wait, was this their first, or their second date? Moving along, "this one's the New York Deli pizza, and this is the Ham and Pineappe. So, would you fly there by yourself, or on a plane. And how long would it take you to get there if you were like, carrying me." He liked being in her arms, he just wasn't sure that it'd be comfortable to spend hours doing that at a jet speed. Those winds would probably be something fierce. "It has been one, but I think it's been a good one."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles, "Waaait, isn't this like, a first date? Is it even a date?" she hadn't yet decided but she enjoyed his company, and was having fun. He was fun, and easy on the eyes and a real, gentleman. Those were definitely bonuses in her book. "Hmm, Well...I could get us there in a few minutes, but to get there safely might take longer.." she sighs, "I suppose a plane would be more comfy.."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Okay, then a second date," he just wanted to be able to see her again, "or a first one, if you decide that this isn't a date. Whatever it is, I'm glad to be here. "Then we might need to save up, unless of course you're like a secret millionaire, since transpacific flights don't come cheap. And a movie theater employee's salary doesn't go a long way towards that."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles and waves a dismissive hand, "Details, details! I'm just happy to spend time with you! Whatever you call this, I'm not really keeping count." she shrugs and smiles, taking another slice of pizza. "Oh no, I'm no millionaire, Soo yeah, some day. I mean,no hurry right? Orr, aim a bit lower?" she sighs, "Too bad we can't just port there, huh."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Not one of my powers. I have short bursts of speed and I can throw things well. Not sure if that second one is a power or not. I mean, my dad had great hand eye coordination, but I think his was just taught." Either way, he needed more pizza, taking a slice of ham and pineapple after his last was New York deli. "Okay then, this is officially our twelfth date," he suggests, joking since she's not keeping track. "The twelfth date is the pizza date, right?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles, "Twelfth date huh? That's just totally confusing! And here I thought we were just managing our first. You're a funny guy, Owen.." she smiles, "Are all Aussies as interesting as you?"realky she's starting to winder if they're all obsessed wuth boomerangs and kangaroos though!

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Yes, yes they are." He says that very dryly, as if there were no sarcasm in his voice, which is what made it so funny. He didn't say another word on the matter, moving on. "Nah, I'm not obsessed with kangaroos. And boomerangs are just work friends. I can quit at any time. It's not like I have one hidden behind my toilet, another one in the cookie jar, a whole drawer full of them, specially made clothes to fit them, or anything like that. I can quit when I want to. I just? don't, not yet."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles some more, finding him terribly amusing. "Ohh, you're hilarious. I mean, you consider your boomerangs like work pals or something?" she smirks and then suddenly reaches forward to tickle him, "Heey, are you ticklish? Bet you are!" she grins impishly.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He wasn't that ticklish, but did love that she was reaching out to try. He would squirm, leaving openings for her to reach under his armpits, at his sides, his chest, legs, wherever she wanted to run her fingers, testing for ticklish areas. He was laughing and squirming along the way, "hey, stop, no, not the tickle monster," he protested, but by the inflection in his voice, it was clear he was enjoying it, and then, "wait, haha, are you," and he tried to tickle her back, seeing how she liked it, and if she had any sensitive areas.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers is rather a bit more ticklish surprisingly. She may have a tough skin but she also has keen senses, even tactile. She giggles a bit, curling on the sofa. "Ooh heey! Stop that!"

She smirks, attempting to roll on top of him and pin him down, though not putting a lot of muscle into it. No need to strangle him right?

"Youre a fun loving type, aren't you?" she smirks, "Or are all Aussies this playful and keep boomerangs as buddies? I'll bet you name em all too huh."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He was laughing and enjoying tickling her, as much as she seemed to enjoy being tickled. But she wasn't ready to give up without a fight, shifting, and rolling on top of him, and pinning him down. He looked up at her, her hair framing his face as it spilled over on both sides. "Takes one to know one?" He offered up, before adding, "nah, in fact, most Australian women don't like Australian men. We've got a reputation for being a bit old fashioned." As for his boomerangs, "not really, though I might start, Kara being one, Supergirl another..."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers arches a curious brow, pulling back a bit. "Ooh sorry.," she may have been acting too forward? And she is a lady afterall. Not that she pulls back all the way kind..She still enjoys flirting and teasing afterall!

"Hey, nothing wrong with being old fashioned. I think Australia must be a nice place if people there are as gentlemanly as you, I mean, girls totally dig guys with a bedside manner, or at least this one does!"

She smiles and winks, "So tell me more about Australia, about your..culture, about you! Do they all have snazzy hair like this?" she gestures to his bright hair, reaching out to playfully miss it up.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
And when she pulls back, he pushes forward? Whatever the opposite is. He tries to get her back to where she was, having enjoyed every moment of it thoroughly, though not forcing anything, just trying to guide her back to where she was, if she's willing, "Oh, I meant old fashioned in terms of the male/female dynamic, you know, the man provides for the family, while the woman raises the family. They're gentlemanly, but can be a bit sexist, by modern standards. Men rise from their seat when a woman enters or leaves the room, they open doors for them, the whole chivalry thing is still big, but... they also expect women to do the cooking, cleaning. So, chauvinist too." And then she was playing with his hair, which was surprisingly soft for a human. And thick. He had to thin it out all the time. "Not that different than America, Canada, Britain, we're all really one culture with minor differences here and there."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers smirks, "Ooh, you want more?" tickles that is! Well, maybe. Still, she listens curiously as she playfully massages his hair, quite fascinated by his colourful ginger locks, not twisting as he pulls her closer.

"Ooh, that dies sound kinda backwards. I mean in the one hand, being chivalrous is a good thing but..On the other, aren't women enlisted enough by now to become more self sufficient than that?"

Kara peers at him more intently now. "Soo what do you think about all of that?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"That's the contradiction. Most women, from what I've heard, want men to act like they used to, putting them up on a peddlestool, doing things for them, helping them, there when they need them, but they don't want to do anything in return. They want to eat their cake and have it too. Now, if you treat a woman the same as you'd treat a man, you can get a reprimand. I got one once from a boss. I was working the cash register, had a big queue, and this woman, taller than me, older than me, and bigger than me, came from one end of the store to the other, wanting me to ignore the customers, so I could go climb a ladder and bring down a bedding set, which weighs like what, 10, 15 pounds? I politely said no, explaining I was busy, and that she'd have to do her job herself, or wait. The next day, I get a talking down by my boss."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers hmns, "I think it's a give and take. I mean, on the one hand I think it's nice when men open doors for women or help them with their groceries. But that dies by mean they should have to raise kids and rely on the man for work you know?"

She frowns, thinking that over, "Of course, I'll hold open doors for anyone, and if anyone is struggling with bags I'll help them. That woman could have waited for you or got em herself though, sounds like she just wanted to take advantage.."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Yeah, I agree, on all counts. But you asked. And she could have. My boss, who was a woman, gave me a talking down. A few hours later, one of my other bosses, under the one who gave me the talking to, asked me what went on, and he was a guy. Some people just like to take advantage and get upset when they can't force what they want. If there hadn't been a queue, and they weren't against people going into other people's tills, I'd have done it, or switched with her, but it wasn't appropriate. Anyway, that's retail."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers nods and sighs, "Gee, sounds like a lot if hard work, dealing with difficult people like that. But I'm sure you get to talk to lots of great people too, right?" she smiles brightly, tilting her head at him before reaching over for another slice of pizza.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Yeah," and he was done talking about the horrors of retail, instead wanting to live in her positive world, where everyone is nice, and there is good in the world. He looks up as she holds a piece of pizza above him, and teases her, trying to take a bite out of her slice, if she'll let him.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers oohs, "I'll bet you get to see all the new movies before everyone else right?" she continues brightly, "I think that would be soo much fun!" as she speaks, she playfully dangles the slice just out of reach, but temptingly close.

"Ive always found movies are the best way to learn about. earth culture, although sometimes it seems that people act a bit too perfectly and predictably compared to the real world."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He bites out at it, playfully, not snapping. He was hungry, and the pizza was great, but so far, he hasn't gotten to taste this slice. "Yeah, we get to preview them, sometimes really early, others times shorter notice. You could come and watch if you wanted. We have to make sure there are no issues with the movie before the public see it too. "And, you know, if you wanted, there's a lot of old movies and shows on streaming service. We could make it a regular thing. They call it Netflix and chill, even if it's Disney+, Hulu, or any of the others."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers smiles and nods, "I'd like that. Maybe we could go together, you know, on a second date? Or is it third or fourth by now?"

She smiles, lowering the pizza slowly into his mouth. "You're pretty sneaky tha way.."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He smiled up at her, "I thought we had already decided that this was the twelfth date," he teased, being rather confused himself. Was their first meeting at Club Evolution a date? Was this a date? This certainly felt like a date, or maybe it was more. He wasn't sure. And while he was thinking about it, she lowered the pizza towards his mouth, and he took a bite, chewing and swallowing it, before looking up at her with a twinkle in his eye. "Oh, haven't I told you? My name is Owen Mercer, and I'm an Aussie Ninja."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers smirks, pulling the pizza away again, taking another bite, "Ooh you're a tease." and so is she, threatening to eat the rest of it. "Mmmmm I just loooove pineapple. Earth has such tasty fruit."

She chuckles some more at the Aussie ninja but, sitting back upright. "Soo as a ninja, I probably don't have to tell you my identity is secret and all..I mean, it's kinda been tricky keeping it on the low..I probably should have played along, mot sure why I revealed my secret to you..But I think I can trust you, you know?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He was still lying on his back, on the couch, with her now sitting up as she straddled him. He would fold his hands behind his head, looking quite comfortable right now. "Have you tried Jungle Juice? It's equal parts Passion Fruit Juice, Guava Nectar, and Orange Juice. I may be addicted to it. It's so good." Getting serious now, "I tell you what, I'll keep yours, if you keep mine, and... I get another bite of that pizza. Deal?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers ooohs, "Woow, that sounds divine! Can you make it right now?" she is Soo mean and finishes up the rest of the pizza before reaching for another, brushing his lips playfully with it. "Here, still hungry?" she smiles. "Of course, my lips are sealed, although I'd love to learn more about the Outsiders.."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"I could, but then I'd have to get up, and right now, I have a superhero sitting on my lap. This doesn't happen every day, and I really don't want it to end." He takes a bite of the pizza brought to him, "mmmhmm," he mumbles being still hungry, "but since you asked so nicely, I guess I can get up. If you'll let me. Just, save my place, will ya?"

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles, shaking her head as she lets him finish the slice of pizza. "You know that drink sound delicious, and it's Too tempting but.." she reaches out, wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling his face a bit closer to her's, "Just for a little can we stay here like this? It's kinda nice.."

Captain Boomerang has posed:
The drink did sound delicious, but he was enjoying her far more than any juice. With her hands wrapping around his neck, his own slid down to wrap around her lower back, where her blue uniform top met her red skirt. "I could stay like this for a lot." And then he leaned up, just a little trying to bring his lips to hers.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles, maybe a bit nervous, but not one to back down from a challenge. "Ooh, is that so?" the pizza is forgotten for the moment, the juice too. Those can wait, as she gets a bit more comfy, reaching up to cup his face with her hands, then leans down a bit closer, eyes closed as she meets his lips with a soft kiss of her own.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
One hand moved up her back, dancing against her uniform top, feeling the tiny little bumps in the fabric, as it was textured, though you only got to notice that when up close, like he was now. It eventually reached her hair, and he stroked it, while below, his lips pressed against hers. His eyes fluttered close, a he lost himself in the moment. When it was finally broken, he looked up at her, "is it possible to love someone in a few hours," as they were on their first, or second date, it was hard to tell, and yet, their time together, at the club, here, it somehow felt like far more time had passed.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers keeps her eyes closed, rather enjoying his nearness, his touch as her hands gently stroke his face, his hair, memorizing his scent, the shape of his nose and lips as she continues to kiss him a bit more exploratory. She doesn't quite know him well enough for a truly passionate kiss yet, but..

That comment causes her to blink a few times, a bit nervously perhaps as she pulls away a little. "Wait, what? Are you serious?" really, how does one take such a bold statement? She's a bit..Well, confused, surprised maybe. "I mean..Love at first sight, that's just a fairytale, isn't it?" Kara gives another nervous laugh.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
Yeah, he may have ruined things. He could sense it. It was bold. But it was also honest. He doubled down. "I thought that too, right up until a few days ago. Life can be funny that way, can't it?" She certainly looked nervous and confused. He wouldn't be surprised if she pulled away, getting off of him. He didn't want that, but it may well happen. It seemed she was in the process, having pulled away a little, but not entirely. His hands would slip away from her hair and torso, moving to brush against either side of her, which right now meant her thighs. "Although, Tangled is my favorite Disney fairytale. What's yours?"

Supergirl has posed:
He may have..Or maybe not. who knows? She smiles still, pulling back a bit but not letting go, although her hands slide down to his shoulders now. "Hmm, I dunno, I guess..Well. I've been in a relationship before, just once."

Kara sighs a bit, looking away, "I thought that was a fairytale romance too, only, maybe I rushed things. It...Didn't work out, it was a pretty complicated story but... I haven't seen him in over a year and I wish him well, I guess we just grew apart. But, those memories remain, you know?"

Looking back at him, her smile is a little sad, "I always liked fairytales, I still believe in happy endings. Just don't want to rush things is all. I really like you, Owen Mercer. I think you're a great guy and you're funny and a good kisser. Just..Let's take things slow?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
She pulled back further, which wasn't good news for Owen, though his hands slid down to reach his shoulders, so it wasn't a complete failure. "Only once?" He asked, curious, but also understanding. One former relationship. That ought to make her a bit skittish about them. "You rushed it?" he repeated, thinking about that, even more reason for her to be wary. "Yeah, memories are important. Focus on the good parts, and forget about the bad ones." It nearly broke his heart as she offered that sad smile. "Of course, Kara... Supergirl. We'll take it slow. Secret identities on the first... or second... date, we'll save you getting to wear one of my shirts until like the eighth or ninth, although we did seem to settle on this being the twelfth, so my maths might be wrong."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers nods and sighs, "Yeaaah, I guess we rushed it, maybe I just wasn't ready, a few different reasons." she shrugs, giving his shoulders a squeeze, leaning in a little, just to show him she's not going anywhere,

"Its okay, I guess I learned a bit from it and I want to do things better this time around..I hope you're not disappointed?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
The squeeze of his shoulders felt good. He was a little worried she might be going away, withdrawing, and sort of recoiling from what had happened up to this point. It reassured him. "That's what experiences are for. You either learn from them, or you repeat them until you do. But... so long as you're still interested in," he gestured with his hand, her and him, pointing to both in turn, "this, I'm not disappointed. Good things come to those who wait."

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers hmmm and nods, "Well that's a relief. I mean, I didn't exactly want to scare you away either..Although I am curious, so guess I'm fairly new at relationships, but what about you, if I may ask? You seem a bit older and wiser than me, hope Im not too..inexperienced for you." she chuckles, shaking her head. "Sorry, maybe that's just a weird thing to say..Let's just see where the night takes us?"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"Oh, I don't think there's any chance of that. Unless you plan on heat visioning my butt for leaving the toilet seat up," he joked, not actually knowing if Supergirl had heat vision, but he had heard that Superman did, so it was an educated guess. When she asks about his past relationship experience, he pointedly remarks, "remember, I grew up in Australia, and Australian girls don't like Australian guys." He laughed a bit, "honestly, no real... long ones. Just hadn't met the right girl." Was his past tense deliberate, or accidental?

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers chuckles and shakes her head, "Come on, I'm not that violent, unless you know, you throw a kryptonite boomerang at me or something!"

She grins, still straddling him, getting more comfy as she massages his shoulders and the back if his neck, pondering. "Soo..If we did get married one day, you wouldn't, yknow, expect me to cook and clean and have babies while you went off to work? Would you? I mean, like I said, chivalry is all nice and Welk, but there are limits.,"

Captain Boomerang has posed:
He was very comfortable with her straddling him and working on his shoulders and back of his neck with her fingers. He kept his hand near her thighs, not yet going to her back as before. He was letting her set the pace; see how far she wanted to go. He was happy to take things slow... and then she talks about marriage and babies. He smiled broadly, doing his best not to giggle at the pacing whiplash, "if we got married, it might be nice to have a son or daughter, but I'm sure we could share the chores, and the work, wherever we are in our careers. I mean, I'm a jet setting movie theatre employee, while all you're working on is a rinky dink little journalism career." He was of course being sarcastic there.

Supergirl has posed:
Kara Danvers giggles, but tries to focus on gentle massaging a, "Oh you! I guess it's waaay too early to be even going there's. So let's just take it a day at a time, hmm? Although I'm dying to see you in your cinema uniform. I'll bet you look totally cute!" she grins, leaning in to give him a much fuller kiss this time, her lips pressed more firmly against his.

Captain Boomerang has posed:
"I'm game if you are," he laughs, but was that to going there, taking it one day at a time, or showing off his uniform. He gave her a wry grin, which only made it more confusing, though that grin was soon replaced by the fullness of her lips being pressed against his, an act that he eagerly reciprocated. And with that encouragement, the hands that had rested against her thighs, which were on either side of him, slid up and over her skirt to hug her, wrapping around her waist.
