Cast of Characters: Rogue, Storm

Rogue has posed:
Yesterday was interesting and for several reasons. This morning, Rogue is seeking more answers to questions she still has, and since Rosie had mentioned Storm, the Detention Staffer figures the only person who can give insight is the teacher herself. Up to the attic goes Rogue and once outside Storm's door she lifts her hand and gives a few solid knocks. "Hey Storm? You alive?"

Storm has posed:
When a large space is inhabited of your choosing; there are amentities that you're able to sneak past most of the students who'd try to tinker with it if they could. This includes a hot plate, as well as an electrical tea kettle that costed way too much for what it did.

Boil hot water. That was literally it.

But in this case, the tea-kettle had ran its course, for it was still on with no water to boil. No tea had been boiled, in fact, nothing consumed in close to three days. Save for plants and probably dandelion root. But, whatever!

The door was opened sharply, Ororo looked much like herself but a little suspicious. It was rare for her to have visitors to her room because she's usually out. There was no snappage of words, just a step back and a door pulled open further to allow Anna entrance.

"For now." She quips, a clear joke.

Rogue has posed:
"I mean, isn't that the nature of most of us..." Rogue would say all, but she knows that to be a falsehood. The other woman is regarded a moment as Rogue steps into the attic room, giving it a look around before turning to face Storm directly. "I don't think I've ever actually been inside this room. Passed it enough times on my way to the roof...always wondered what kind of digs you had up here."

She chuckles, but it's short lived, and then she takes a breath. "I'll get to the point. Cause I know you can be busy. But managed to find Rosie yesterday. Bring her back home. Poor girl's frightened. Thinks we'll all consider her evil and kill her for...well.." A pause. "What...exactly happened? She mentioned you takin' the kids on an outing...and she likely killed someone?"

Storm has posed:
Ororo leaves the door open, but she puts considerable space in between her and Rogue. In order to keep busy, she moves towards the electric tea-kettle, shutting it off before it shorts out the entire mansion, then moves about in attempts to clean up where she could.

Clothes were on the floor, per usual. Papers littered upon the desk, odd drawings and the like were scattered and soon flipped over so that no one else could see.

"You do know that you're welcome to walk in any time. I would like to say the home is for all within reason." She grins, now leaning upon her desk. Her arms were folded, not defensively, but just a lack of what to do with them.

But she does listen, and frowns. She had forgotten about Rosie! All the more reason for her to be on leave..

"I.. don't know." Ororo confesses, possibly the first time she had spoken about it to another person. "What I -can- remember, I instructed the kids to find a trinket for their project. I went to browse.." She shakes her head. "..then next thing I know, I get a call from Jeremy and it was a mess." She inhales, then slowly lets out a breath.

"She didn't kill anyone. They were just hurt really bad. Josh came by and healed her, she's right as rain. Jeremy dealt with.. oh.. Jeremy.." She had forgotten about him too...

Rogue has posed:
"Well, I know that now. Guess I ain't ever wanted to be a bother to you, Storm." Rogue confesses this much as she looks around, taking in the state of the room. She also notes the sort of distance that's being kept from between her and Ororo - and while she doesn't know the real reason for it, she's keeping it in mind. As the other woman explains things, she raises a brow.

"You...don't remember? Did something happen to you while you were out with the kids?" Funny, she doesn't remember reading any reports, but then she could be a little behind and not realize it. "Well, I'm glad no one died... but Rosie's all out of sorts. I'm going to see if she'll let Hank take a look over her, cause she took some wounds while she was...out losing herself." Best way Rogue could really explain it. When Ororo mentions Jeremy, Rogue's interest is further piqued.

"What about Jeremy? Something happen with him too?"

Storm has posed:
"I.. don't know." She truly didn't. "One moment, I'm at a stall, and the next.." Well, the story was there. "I went to our nurses to at least see if there was any reason I would miss that important chunk of time. To look for defects or any mystical leanings as to why I was unawares. I even plan to go to Henry, but if our ladies and gents couldn't find anything, I am unsure if he would."

Her lips purses, then she nods.

"Jeremy shorted himself out erasing everything at my instruction. I forgot all about him until this moment. Odd." Though, at least Rosie was fine, she was the one most upset. Strange thing is, Ororo did not know why or even asked what had happened.

"But she's home, yes?" Ororo confirms. "I would like to know the status. The status of both of the students, though I am afraid that since I am on medical leave I am not privvy to such information."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue frowns a little and worries on her lower lip a moment while listening to Storm explain things. "That's concerning. I'm sure Hank might be able to help you though...or maybe even Jean?" She could poke Storm's mind and maybe figure something out right? A hand lifts to rub at the back of Rogue's neck a moment.

"Yeah. Rosie's home. Jeremy seemed fine yesterday for the brief moment I saw him. I gifted him a kitten I found abandoned in Hell's Kitchen. I know sometimes animals can help people with..." She wiggles her fingers around her head and then shrugs.

"I plan on going to talk to Rosie this morning since she's had a night to sleep things off a bit more. I can talk to Jeremy too I suppose. Just make sure everyone is doing okay. I may be doing stuff a bit above my pay grade though. I'm just concerned. And, like I said, I'mma try to convince Rosie to talk to Hank too." A breath and then she tilts her head. "Medical leave? Well...you know as much as I can tell you, and that's just all I know right now. I don't wanna upset you with anything though...so I hope I didn't. We'll figure it all out, Storm. It's what we do best, yeah?" Then she smiles.

"Can I bring you anything?"

Storm has posed:
Ororo promptly shakes her head. "Not necessary. I'll be seeing Charles for more lessons on guided meditation. I will speak to him then." No she wouldn't.

But there was relief there, she had forgotten all about the students and it seems, or she hears that they were relatively taken care of. Her head slowly leans to the side now, unconsciously picking a spot upon the floor to stare into..

"Huh?"

Ororo shakes her head, her expression changed. "No no no. I'm fine. Actually.." She turns upon her desk, pushing the papers aside to draw out a manilla folder. "..deliver the lesson plan to Dr. Robinson? They do not have to worry about the results of the field trip, that idea is scrapped for now. But the children are due for tests soon, this will guide Dr. Robinson on what's to come." She approaches Rogue to offer up the folder, then smiles.

"I'm going for a run."
