Buffy Summers has posed:
It's been a hectic few weeks and Buffy had been meaning to check in on Willow. Her last few demonstrations with magic had been impressive. And she wanted to check in on her and her new room mates. But with all the changes, it seemed wise to call ahead of time and let her know she'd be there within the hour.

Although it was strange not to be able to just walk into her former apartment, Buffy took the time to knock on the door of her apartment. once she'd been let in through the lobby.

"Hey Wil, you there?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow was getting used to her job. Not that she minded, but there were times when she missed the cafe and its customers. But overall she was happy she had made the change. Upwards and onwards!

She'd invited Buffy to come on over sometime this week, but so far she'd forgotten the invite. Witness pajamas, and a pint of ice cream, in front of the tv. Yep. She was lazing about. No homework. No work. No Watchtower. No Magic Box. No Titans. Just Willow and a good movie: Halloween.

Then a knock. And a familiar voice: Buffy!

"Hey, come on in!"

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers may have arrived a bit late in the day, but she'd been busy, as usual. But here she is, dressed as if she just finished a patrol, which would explain the time. But did she get here too late? Thankfully it seems she's still awake and Buffy smiles as she pushes the door open.

"Hey Wil, how you doing?" she greets brightly, then blinks, "Woow, did I catch you at a bad time? You look about ready for bed!" she grimaces, biting the pyjamas

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"No, I wanted to watch this movie. And the pjs.. you know me! If I can, I'm wearing them. You can get a spoon for the ice cream?" Willow really doesn't need the whole thing for herself.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers oohs, "Ice cream? Cant say no to that!"she grins and steps into the kitchen, searching for a sooon, "Hmm, so how have you been? It's been a while, Are your room mates around? What's their names again, Vitali and Xiang Zhao?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Chocolate chocolate fudge. Mmmmm. Ice cream.

Willow left room for Buffy. "I don't know? They're gone most of the time." But she nodded at the names. "That's right. Tali and Xiang Zhao."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers hmms, grabbing a plate and scooping some ice cream into her plate, digging her spooon in. "Mmmmm, this is sooo good. Last thing at night too. I mean, why is hot chocolate Soo overrated? Choco fudge should be up there too, you know for hot days and sweltering nights.."she chuckles.

"Ohh, that's too bad. I know it can get lonely here.." she arches a curious brow, "Heey, do you think those two are, yknow...A thing? I mean, sharing a room..."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Seeing as she no longer shared a kitchen space with Buffy, Willow giggles. "I used to hide chocolate bars in that drawer in the fridge marked 'caution, potions'. I still do, but I'm not hiding them from you anymore."

She gets a huge spoonful of ice cream, and eats in slowly.

"You can say sleeping together as a couple, you know. I like girls as much as boys, you know. You wouldn't say that about me, would you? And I don't know. It's really none of my business to speculate. Why?"

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers smiles, "How come? You know you don't have to hide anything from me right? I trust you." she shrugs. "Anyway, you're skinny, nothing wrong with extra choco bars. Wish I could relax and have more fun like you sometimes, but you know, slayer duties and all."

Buffy sighs tiredly as she plays wuth her ice cream. And are those a couple strands of grey in her hair? "Yeah..Guess it's not my business, was just curious is all. But you know what they say about curious cats!" she chuckles and shrugs.

"Oh yea, speaking of hiding, wow, you've shown some impressive powers lately you know? First with the vamps in the subway, then the Kraken..I mean you've always been a talented witch but..Wow!"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"You're kidding, right?" Willow gives Buffy a strange look. "You have no clue what I go through each and every single day. Sure, maybe I'm not a Slayer, but every single moment of my day is filled to the brim with work. Whether it was school and homework, or jobs, or my magic practice, or helping you or my other teams , I'm working just as hard as you. If not harder."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers blinks slowly, shaking her head. "Oh no, I didn't mean...Geez I'm an idiot.Sorry, Wil! I know you're a hard worker, definitely harder than me for sure! I mean..Hows the new job going? How are your magic studies and school? Got a new tutor?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow grows quiet. "Work's okay. It's different? I'm learning a lot. Definitely different than pouring coffees all day long. I like it, though. And so far my magic is going well."

More than well.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers oohs, "That's cool! I know Wade was a bit worried. He said that magic can change a person or something? I mean, I can't really comment myself as I don't really know much about magic but.." she shrugs, "Soo whose the new tutor? Constantine been showing you new tricks?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
At that, Willow giggles. "I wish. He's a really neat magic user. No, a magic user named Tala is. She's making me think about magic in a new way. She's been very pleased with me. And Wade?"

Boggles.

"He's not a magic user, of course he would say it would change you. Every part of you is changed, just like when to take out the vampires as the Slayer. You're changed. Of course I am getting better. Of course it will change me. But I'm still the essence of me."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers ooohs, "Tala?" that's a new name, "Well that's cool, I guess she must be a good teacher to have taught you so much so quickly. I wonder when I'll get to meet your new tutor, hmm?" she grins. As for Wade, Buffy just shrugs, "Dunno, he's..A little crazy.." she sighs, "Told me he hears voices all the time."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Lots of people do. I wouldn't be so concerned." Afterall Willow had lots of friends who could be considered.. odd. Wade was in good company.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers arches a brow, "Oh, I have my share of..Odd friends. But he's..Well...Unstable, dangerous even. He so much as said he may one day double cross me, even." she frowns, "And that's not a claim I take lightly.."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow just shakes her head. "And that is different from.. who?" As far as Willow could see, lots of Buffy's friends were not normal, and that meant stab you in the back kind of friends.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers frowns, "Well...Take Spike for instance. He's a vampire, normally he'd stab anyone in the back. Heck, if it weren't for that chip, he'd have tried to kill me a looog time ago.." she chuckles as she works on her ice cream. "But since he got a chip..Well he literally *cant* stab me in the back, he couldn't betray me without hurting himself. And even if he used an elaborate indirect method..I know he wouldn't."

She sighs and shakes her head. "Willow, I'd never dream of keeping anyone who would betray me in my close circle of friends.." it's no secret that she and Spike are close..Even if their relationship is..Odd..

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Well, true enough, I guess." Willow drops the conversation. At least that part of it. "Anything else?" She has to get up in the morning to go to work. Besides between the two of them they've decimated the pint, to the point Willow has to scrape out the last bits.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers hmms, considering that. "No, not really, just wanted to check in with you. Oh yeah, we plan to check out the Vampire stronghold tomorrow night. Hope you can be there, I could use your magic expertise!" but it's getting late and Buffy backs away towards the door. "I should let you get some sleep though..It was good catching up. Take care, Wil!"
