Cast of Characters: Red, Hulk

Red has posed:
Alice has taken a shift in the workshop of the little costume shop in flatbush. Not that they technically cater for superheroes, after all that could be seen as aiding and abetting vigilantees, but if you needed a stormtrooper costume or something, it was a good address in town. The door right next to the chinese dry cleaner shows the open sign, thought the small front area with the props appears devoid of anyne at the moment. However the door to the workshop is open.

Hulk has posed:
Sometimes, you don't have time to find what you're looking for elsewhere... and costume shops can be useful in a variety of ways if you need to do some infiltration in your time. A bit of demeanor change and a good, authentic looking base costume can go a long way towards helping with that.

Wearing white slacks and a sleeveless hoodie, Bruce 'Makran' walks into the shop, already looking around at the various selections.

Red has posed:
The shop has mostly folders with costumes on racks, as well as props over the counter as well as some in the window. As the door opens, a 1990 movie song booms from a little box above the door. Drums, some guitar notes running up and down repeatedly, then Roy Orbison's voice singing the telltale Oh, Pretty Woman.

The sound of the bell calls for Alice, sticking the head out of the door to the workshop. "Good afternoon. What can I do for you Sir?" she asks, gesturing around a little. "Do you need something for a masque ball or a summer party? A convention? Or maybe a custom job for one?"

Hulk has posed:
"I'm looking to stock up for a year. I need materials and some base outfits. I do cosplay and a couple parties as a hobby." Bruce informs Alice, not looking away from the shelves, "Military stuff, some science lab coats... a couple game characters." Bruce looks towards Alice and smiles, his right hand coming up to adjust his glasses, "Do you do immediate custom orders?"

Red has posed:
Alice says, "Sounds like you wanna do a movie or stuff. What kind of custom orders? Some stuff I have materials for on hand, like... if you need a stormtrooper armor today, I might put the parts together in a few hours, but most stuff takes a few weeks and then you can pick it up or we ship it to you. Thugh we don't generally deal with base materials." Alice explains, pulling out a pair of folders from a shelf, flipping one to a blank order form, the other listing movies and games. The costume master index, so to say. "What're you looking for?""

Hulk has posed:
"I just like to plan ahead a bit." Bruce refutes, then, he starts walking over towards the shelves with known police and military uniforms, "A little bit of everything, really. I make some of my own stuff, but having something made modified is generally cheaper. Do you do modifications?"

Red has posed:
"Depends. What exactly are you looking for?" Alice asks. Of course, there are the police and military uniform, but none of them come with the contemporanious badges or epaulettes, as he might flick through the folder. Tthose are outdated by decades by design. After all they were just offering costumes, not real uniforms. "We got a seamstress on hand to make stuff, I do other propwork."

Hulk has posed:
"Let's start with something I'll need sooner. French military uniforms. I do a bit of LARPing." Bruce inquires. "Do you do those, or are they custom?"

Red has posed:
"Depends on the time you want." Alice counters as she steps in front of the counter, searchign the right folder. A heavy binder that ends on the counter a little later. "Which year are you interested in?" she asks, gesturing at the things index, which starts around the time of the French revolution.

Hulk has posed:
"As close to modern as possible, and back two generations." The folder snaps shut, and Bruce turns to regard Alice. "How much of that is custom?"

Red has posed:
Alice sighs a moment as she opens the folder again, looking up the latest date and then opening the photographs on the right page. "Depends on what you want. BDU and stuff we can get down to the real deal, sans rank and campaign insignia. How much wear and tear you want is a customizable option, and if you need special size, that can be done. BDU or dress uniform?"

Hulk has posed:
"Everything new, BDU is good for a start." Bruce continues, before he looks back to Alice, "What's your usual order date for that?"

Red has posed:
"Let me tally that up..." Alice notes, reaching for the ordering folder to note down some numbers. Order numbers that match to those in the folder she just opened. "Depending on the schedule, two weeks is the usual. If you want faster, there's a premium for ASAP, but for that stuff that is at earliest till the weekend. We need to order the fabric. You need the matching prop rifle to go with them or you have your own?"

Hulk has posed:
"No need for props. Just the uniform will due. I'll be back in two weeks to take a look at it." Bruce notes as he heads for the door. "Good luck!"

Red has posed:
Alice nods, writing down the details she got to order the parts for in some weeks. "Don't be a stranger, Sir!"
