Cast of Characters: Quicksilver, Willow Rosenberg

Quicksilver has posed:
It had been rather fun to plan out. Dinner, at a very nice restaurant where Pietro told Willow to pick whatever she liked from the menu, and then a concert in Central Park. The philharmonic orchestra was doing a concert series, and Bach was featured tonight. The Bradenburg concerto had been on the line up of music to be played, and it had been played incredibly well.

Pietro hadn't dressed up a lot for the night out, but he wears a pair of dress shoes rather than running shoes, a pair of dark grey dress slacks, and a dark blue button up shirt. The orchestra had done a couple of encore numbers, and most of the others were starting to filter out of the seats in order to leave. It was a bit late, drawing close to midnight. Pietro had been doing his level best to not fidget at any point during the evening, though it did get the better of him once or twice along the way. His gaze turns to Willow, watching her, and he offers his right hand to her, with his palm up. "Did you enjoy it?" he asks, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow was in a flapper gown; a deep, dark scarlet that was almost black it was so dark. At first she thought she would be overdressed, but as it happens, she was perfectly dressed for the evening. Right to the beaded headband, down to her feet in a T-strap heel.

"Are you kidding me? Of course I loved it!" She stopped. "Did you? I almost asked you to dance during the encores." Of course, they wouldn't have a usual dance to go with it. "Did you notice? I left my laptop at home this evening." That was big. All her attention was for him.

Quicksilver has posed:
There's a warm smile that curls at the corners of his lips, and he leans in close to her to attempt to kiss her cheek nearest to him. "You are the most beautiful woman here," Pietro says softly, giving a small nod to her. Not that he's had eyes for any other woman besides her. She's held his attention, even over the music that was played.

"I am very glad that you did, Willow," Pietro says softly, a warm note to his voice. "Yes, I did. I enjoy the classical music. It always feels... fuller, somehow," he adds, a thoughtful tone to his voice. "I noticed that the laptop was not here. I appreciate that you did, and I know it's a bit thing for you to have done," he comments. His fingers claim hers, giving them a squeeze, and he smoothly rises to his feet before helping her to hers as well.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Well, sometimes I do leave it at home." Said with a teasing note. And she really mostly meant the laptop was in her satchel, out of sight. But not this time, it really was at home. Really!

He might have intended to give her a kiss of the cheek, but Willow had other ideas. Where he expected her cheek, was suddenly her lips. "I think we have come far enough that we can give real kisses, don't you?" Her lips were quite willing, but her voice was still just a little bit shy. After all he just called her beautiful!

"Do they have a jazz festival? I just bet you would love it. It's all about the notes that aren't played. It's fascinating."

Quicksilver has posed:
"Yes, I know that you do, sometimes," he says, matching her teasing tone. Pietro didn't mind at all that his target of her cheek was changed to her lips by her moving -- he kissed her softly, tenderly. "I know that you like having the laptop near, just in case," he comments, a smile turning at the corners of his lips. He knows the laptop is important to her, for her magic.

There's a bit of colour that comes to his cheeks at her statement after the kiss, and he gives a small nod to her. "I think we have, too. And I like to kiss you," he says softly, his chin ducking just a touch. He leans in to seek to kiss her lips again, and he slips an arm around her to hold her closer to him. "They do. The jazz festival is in the fall. Classical music through the summer," he says, a smile curling at the corners of his lips. "Perhaps we should make it a regular date, to come to their concerts?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
To her she was normal height, but to him she was towered over. That and she was slight. Still, she liked the feeling of him protecting her (where did her feminism go?!?). For some reason it felt different the way he does it, compared to the way the Scoobies quite often protected her from.. well.. when she was cranky.. everything.

"I think that would be brilliant. And I will take you to the Bronze. Different types of music. But good!" Willow held herself up by putting her fingers on his chest and curling her fingers around his shirt. "You are some kind of enigma, you know? I would have pegged you as Electro, or Trance, or Dubsteb."

Quicksilver has posed:
If he was near to her, then he would protect her. It was sort of an unspoken thing, and it had little to do with her being female and him being male. But it was a thing that he would do. One of his eyebrows quirks up, and he lifts his free hand to lightly brush his fingers along the side of her neck.

"I look forward to that, to visit the Bronze. I've never been there," he says with a smile. "It is a beautiful night. Shall we walk through the park a little before I walk you home?" he suggests, his blue eyes showing a sparkle to them. He chuckles softly, and then he lifts one of his shoulders in a bit of a shrug. "I am... eccentric, with music. I pick songs from different types... if I like the sound of it, if it appeals to my mind and lures me into it, then I listen to it," he says softly.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"So do I! And please a walk would be.. well.. I often am out in the wee hours of the night. But having you be beside me?" She showed her pleasure by squeezing his hand. "I like this one park, Apple Park, because, well, see this park is lit up pretty much, but that one, at night it's quiet, and dark. I go and practice my religion there."

That's two things about her: 1) She isn't a practicing Jew, and 2) She practices there. Three if you include that she likes the dark of night over the day.

She walks along with him. "I love almost all music. You have to imagine for every song out there, there is one person who feels that song to the depth of the soul. And for the rest of us we only begin to hear it by snitches and snatches. Like we *amost* get it, almost."

Quicksilver has posed:
Softly, he gives her hand a gentle squeeze in return, a smile quirking at the corners of his lips. He shifts his hand against hers, to twine his fingers with her own if she lets him, and then he gives a nod to her. "Then a walk it will be," Pietro says softly. One of his eyebrows quirk up a little bit, and he finds himself giving a small nod after her words.

"I like to watch the stars come out, the moon. I think that I've run through Apple Park a few times, and it does have less lighting to it. Some people avoid it at night, I think," he says, starting to walk with her out of the row of seats where they'd bee sitting to watch the orchestra play. "There are so many varieties of music. Each piece is not for everyone. We each have different things that will stir our souls, that will pull our attention to the notes that are being played and the beat that the piece has," he offers. "I love that there are so many kinds of music, so many sounds and ways of making them."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"More for me." Willow could be teasing. "I like to wander through the woods at the edges of the park. It's about as far as you.. well I.. can be away from the city. At least I like to pretend anyway."

And at night it's especially easy to pretend.

"I wonder, how many magicians are drawn to magic through notes?"

Quicksilver has posed:
There's a soft laugh from him, and he gives a small nod to her. "Indeed, more for you," he says, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. He walks with her across Central Park, not bothering to pay any attention to the paths that weave through the green space. "One day, if you like, I can take you further away from the city. Away from the lights. And we can lay on the grass and look up at the sky and watch the stars come out," he says, lightly brushing his thumb over the back of her hand that he holds.

"I'm not sure. I like to think that there is a certain magic in music. Whether or not magicians hearit, well...perhaps it depends on how good of an ear they have for it?" he suggests.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
In the meantime, Willow has taken her shoes to walk. And as he speaks of going to the wilderness, she stops, and stares at him with big round eyes. "Really? Could you? Promise?"

Quicksilver has posed:
The speedster tilts his head to one side as he looks to her, and he quirks a smile before he gives a nod. "Mmhmm, really. I could. We could even make a weekend out of it, if you like," Pietro says, a smile tugging the corners of his lips. "I promise, we'll make it happen," he adds, his voice sincere. He likes the idea of making this promise come true with her. They walk through the park for a little while, and then he walks her safely home. After a goodnight kiss is shared, Pietro actually takes the time to walk back home rather than run. Perhaps wishing for the night not to end as readily.
