Cape Coral, Florida - Max's Diner

Florida is lovely this time of year.

No it's not. That's why a lot of retired Florida residents go NORTH for the summer. But alas that is not part of Savio's lot.

Instead the recently burned agent continues to reside in Cape Coral. Several hours away from the Miami office. But it's not all bad. Most of the Summer travel is concentrated in places like Orlando, Daytona, Tampa, or Miami. But Cape Coral?

Well it's pretty quiet in the summer. It's easier to get a table in one of the restaurants. Although Jax's diner got hit with a bout of being closed as the owners have opted to take a couple weeks off for extended Independence Day festivities.

Instead, the dressed down agent, is making use of the near empty Max's diner which looks, SUSPICIOUSLY like Jax's diner but in reds. AND it has a jukebox.

The man doesn't seem much different than those seen walking along the streets. No expensive suit. No over-styled hair. Just, shorts, polo shirt, and sunglasses. Just a typical Florida retiree having a simple breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast, and black coffee.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Warm, humid, sunny. Too sunny. It's the kind of place that is the exact polar opposite of what someone thinks of when they hear the word 'winter'. Oh irony, gird thy loins.

It might not be the tourist hotspot of Florida, but there's inevitably some people around that either want to get away from the bustle, or simply cannot afford to soak up this high UV index sunlight in the more salubrious areas of the state. What kind of person would come to Cape Coral? Someone wearing a slightly too bright but obviously cheap 'wish I could afford to go to Hawaii' shirt, store brand shorts, and shoes that are slightly too cheap to stand up to the incessant sun and have started cracking already. Picture that tourist, with the bright, hopeful expression of someone determined to have a good time despite the evidence of reality. Ever so slightly foreign. European, probably.

That kind of person, that kind of tourist, would be unnaturally garrulous, always going to the cheaper places to eat, and bothering the locals for what they will insist on calling 'chit-chat' in something that is almost but not quite English. That sort of person wouldn't think twice about walking into a diner and seating themselves at the same table as one of the only customers. And indeed, this tourist has.

"Hallo." this apparition of modern mass tourism gone awry says to Savio with a distinctly dutch-sounding accent "Dis seat not taken, yes?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As the lack of other patrons wasn't sufficient enough to draw attention to the incoming diner customer. The presence of sleeves and gloves upon a Florida tourist in the heat of summer more than emphasizes that this newcomer is not from around here and it would be unnatural NOT to look to this display. The older looking version of the rocker back in New York is obligated to follow suit and upon seeing who it is that is asking to sit at his table, a brow rises.

"No it's not." He replies, watching the tourist already helping himself to the seat. "...You're not from around here. Are you?" Seems like the typical type of greeting one would do for such an interloper.

Winter Soldier has posed:
"No, no, not from here around, no." the tourist smiles amiably, blue eyes filled with merriment at some kind of inner cosmic joke that only they seem to grasp. In short, the kind of expression you get from a tourist for whom Cape Coral is actually the best they can hope for. "From Rotterdam, in Holland. It turn out, there's Holland in New York also, unbelievable is it not?"

As if to prove that point, the tourist spreads out a map on the table, pointing out a spot in upstate New York, on which the words 'Sorry about this' have been written upside down, so that Savio can read them. "And Hoboken too. Can you believe? I see it and laugh." Another tap on the map, New Jersey, with the words 'Can we talk?' inscribed over what is actually Hoboken.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Absolutely shocking." Savio deadpans at the observation regarding New York. As the map is laid out before him. He gives a slight sigh and leans forward, making a show of being polite as he looks to the words. "Ridiculous how that turned out." Savio replies in kind to the written apology, "But Yes. I can believe it."

The older looking man leans back in his seat, looking over to Bucky. An assessing glance given to the already confessed winter soldier. "So what brings you to this town?"

Winter Soldier has posed:
With a genial gesture, Bucky motions to the wait staff to bring some more coffee for him and his newfound friend, and waits until the cups are filled (after an expected 'Much thanks!') before dropping the accent... but not the tourist smile. "Same as last. Questions. In fact, this time you could probably call it consulting rather than questions, because the kind of questions I have right now are very much within your area of expertise."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Savio glances to the server, giving a nod of thanks to his coffee being filled as well. He's quiet for a few moments, allowing time for the server to walk away and for Bucky to go into the pitch for why he's here this time.

"And for a moment I thought you just enjoyed yourself so much last time..." He murmurs. He picks up the coffee to take a drawn out sip before calmly setting it down. "Very well. What is it? Something else you come across?"

Winter Soldier has posed:
"Me? I love the place. Humidity, alligators and constant risk of skin cancer, what's not to like? Good thing the company is decent. Out here anyway." But he'll get to that later.

"I need to know about someone." Bucky begins, taking a sip from his coffee and, in true tourist fashion, adding some more sugar. Far more sugar. And milk. "Moretti. Malcom Moretti. I have reasons to suspect it's a name that's very familiar to you."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
There's a slight quirk to the lips mirroring an expression that may occasionally be seen on a person more familiar to Bucky. With the familial likeness on top of it, it is a bit eerie. "That your hair hasn't turned into one big ball of frizz yet is a miracle in itself." Savio comments, shaking his head.

The smile is short lived as the last name leaves Bucky's lips. The expression darkens. "I am aware of them." He admits. There's a bit of a pause as Savio leans forward, resting his arms on the table and crossing them. "Belmonte's hit. Was performed by Malcom. He was the one who cut the deal. Seems. Punisher found out where Witsec stashed him."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"As I said, the company here is decent. Didn't have to go too far to find company less pleasant." And Bucky leaves it at that, sipping his coffee. He knows Savio's, pardon the pun, savvy. So he treats him like the professional he is. "He wasn't alone. Other guy is now the poster child for the reformatory power of incarceration. Shop keeper, has a kid, genuinely didn't seem to know what he was getting into. He's at the back of my list of names to visit, sort of hoping I won't get down that far before I can prove the connection."

He leans forward for a moment. "Frankly put, I don't buy it. Guy gets paid to do a hit, gets squealed on by his partner, then sings like a canary about a supposed bomb threat to a school?" Raised eyebrows. They raise high, and the pause lasts for about three seconds. "How lucky is it for the operation that just when they needed to find some terrorists to justify their costs, here's a guy that knows where to find some terrorists. Do you buy that?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The elder looking man grows quiet, letting James paint the scenery with his theory. He gives a slight nod to the summary on Green. He doesn't lean any further than he already has. With James's motion, they would be touching foreheads if they did. Amusing. But highly unrecommended.

"Interesting theory." Savio commends, "But with the arrests they made in Atlanta the year prior, the reup was already assured. Also, joint mission. War against drugs is included.. DEA got credit for that collar. Not DHS. If anything that should have pissed them off. Not make them feel better."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"Yeah, but the year before you weren't thinking of leaving." Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to put things together, and Bucky's fairly certain he understand the general outline of what happened... and has a very shrewd idea as to why.

Rather than elaborate on it, though, he goes onto another tack. "Tell me about Eileen." and instantly he lifts a hand to forestall any objections. "I know you wanted to protect her. But I can also do basic maths. You had your marriage annulled shortly before you went deep cover, and to me that screams you wanted to make sure nobody would target her to get to you. But then Michael was born on June 3rd. That timeline doesn't add up at all if you cut ties with her altogether. An unkind person would suspect a different man in play somewhere, but I know your son well enough, and there's no disguising the likeness."

With another slow, nigh infuriating sip of his coffee, Bucky glances over to Savio, measuring up the man before him. "So you had them moved to New Jersey, out of state where they're safe. Where they were supposed to be safe. But here's where things get muddled. Y'see, there's no doubt that she was the target. I've got reliable eye witness testimony to the fact. But if Belmonte ordered that hit, then Belmonte knew two things. One, that she was the mother of your son. Two, that you were a plant. And if he knew the second one, then he'd have gone for you, or the people you placed over the years. Could have saved his own neck, dismantled the op, with that kind of leverage. But no. Instead she gets killed, shortly after you start talking about getting out. You went in for personal reasons, they made damned well sure you stayed in for personal reasons."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Savio shakes his head. "Michael was due in May." He takes a sip of coffee, waiting a few moments to let Bucky adjust the calculations in his head before setting the mug back down. "But, mostly there. When we married It looked like I'd be doing something a bit more traditional. Supposed to be getting simpler assignments. But... I fit what they were looking for so...Two to three years of separation off the bat. Couldn't do that to her."

"He was a surprise. So we had to run with it."

"I'd been playing with the idea of leaving since 2006. I was accommodating when 9-11 occurred and the reups came. Everyone was working harder so, when the inclusion directive came. I was on board. But once the Belmonte one came-" He shakes his head. "Yes. We decided it'd be best for her and Michael to move elsewhere. That directive was essentially me pocking my finger repeatedly into Belmonte's face as I try to put him out of business. I don't need them around for that."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"Which still leaves a glaring hole in the obvious explanation." It's usually best to creep up on things like this, and Bucky is taking his time. Calm, measured voice, steady rhythm of talking, a logical progression from point to point. As if he's walking a witness through a statement.

"Even if Belmonte wanted to get to you, he would have had to find out about Eileen first. Now I credit you with intelligence, so I can imagine you covered your tracks pretty well. Which leaves only three people who could have known about your connection to Eileen Hannigan. They killed her on your son's birthday, just to make sure they got your attention, just to make sure you knew that they knew. Another detail that's not easy to come by. They knew exactly where to find her. Green thought it was just a robbery, but he was in the back of the line when the brains were being handed out. We only have Moretti's word that Belmonte ordered the hit." A logical chain of reasoning.

    And then the plunge.

"Did you know Stuck was moved into New York as a handler in 2009?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Savio looks to Bucky. "That's where things get complicated. The nature of the role." The hand taps the side of the mug. "See if this sounds like a general set up. Man grows up in a not so pleasant part of the city. We'll say, Little Italy. Only child. Odd for an old Italian family. Doesn't really stand out either way. Some issues with fighting. Friend dies from drug related issues... Not much in terms of family. Low profile. And then years down the line he turns up again, no confirmation, but whispers of things he may be involved in. Hints that he may not be trifled with."

He tilts his head, "And a few neighborhoods over, a bastard child bearing his likeness and name is wandering about. How many years does it take to put two and two together?"

He shakes his head, glance focusing on the mug, "We screwed up. I screwed up. I should have realized I was being followed."

He brings a hand up, resting his chin upon it. "You mentioned it last time... I didn't set anyone up for him. Nils might be able to find out who did though. Far enough along, someone else may have made the introduction."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"Bullshit." And Bucky drains his coffee at that, sitting back in the seat, still with that tourist smile on his face.

"Even if that's how they figured it out, and that's a big if, the place they lived was remote enough that finding them there was improbable bordering on the impossible. I've got no doubt that the hit was intended as a message for you, but I'm also fairly certain you've convinced yourself the wrong man put out the hit. And in your professional opinion, was it likely, or even indicated, that Belmonte would bomb a school? Where's the profit for him?"

After a glance to the window and over Savio's shoulder to a reflective surface to make sure nobody is coming up behind him, Bucky continues. "Speaking of profit, who stood to gain from taking Belmonte down? Who took over his distribution pipeline? Must be easy to move product around if you already know where the DEA plants are."

And that brings him neatly to the next point. "Stuck transferred out of Atlanta in 2009 to New York. Stayed there, in fact, until 2018. Stayed, in New York, until your son moved out of his aunt's place. He even paid visits. And I'm guessing you didn't ask him to do that. That implies to me, strongly, that Stuck knew about Michael, knew about Eileen. And either he compromised your file to find that out himself, or either Clayton or Schwizer did that for him."

Fingers drum on the side of the cup, sounding oddly metallic through the glove. "He had two NYPD cops on his payroll, at least it appears that way. Deadfiled everything that came in with the name Hannigan or Drago. Can't prove it was him, but I can prove he called one of those cops after the incident in the condo, so there's a strong causal link. A kind man would say that he was trying to shield your son and his aunt from anyone stupid enough to try to avenge Belmonte, but I'm by nature a suspicious son of a bitch. And his protection anyway didn't stop Moretti's son from going after Michael with a baseball bat when he was sixteen. Kid disappeared after that, was twenty two at the time. Vanished off the face of the earth."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"The timing was wrong. But I went anyways." Savio shakes his head. "The park wasn't THAT far from the hotel. Could have followed them..."

The topic gets switched again, bringing back the flip flopping mode of discussion at the previous diner. "Belmonte wasn't the one bombing the school. It was the cell he was helping to fund. One of the very reasons the project had so much overlap. Drug trade being used to fund cells."

The topic changes again, giving Stuck a moment where he just glances to Bucky. The mouth parts open to point out that he mentioned Stuck being in New York already but as the Soldier continues on with the additional information. He grows silent. At the mention of the deadfiling, the brows raise, "...He's DHS. He has no business doi-" He pauses, hand clenching upon the mug, "He's handling my son?!"

Winter Soldier has posed:
Sometimes it's necessary to skip from one topic to the other, to give the brain some time to make a few mental connections that might otherwise be missed. It's not one of Bucky's favorite techniques, but he'll use what's handy. And there's no mistaking the reaction he just got.

"Your son is his own man. Nobody is pulling his strings, and he's safe in the protection of some very... let's call them people it'd be foolish in the extreme to mess with. He's intelligent and resourceful, and he knows when to keep a low profile. Some of that I suspect is hereditary." It never does any harm to praise a man's son, especially in the circumstances. "As for who Stuck was handling back then? Don't know. We've been looking, but it's buried deep. But it bothers me that there's a possibility he had his own network alongside yours, without your knowledge. That sort of behavior can be indicative of a rogue agent." Fancy he'd know that...

"But now, I need to know about Moretti. All you know about Moretti. What ties him to Belmonte aside from his own confession? Did he know Eileen? Why would Eileen recognize him and react to save your son? And I notice you evaded the question I asked about her."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
With Bucky ruling out the possibility of Nick being 'handled', the coffee mug is shown some mercy.

"He's a rock star, been in movies, and currently is on tour." Savio points out, "How low profile can he get?" Despite that being a hit against Nick's ability to blend in, it seems to give a bit more assurance to the elder Drago. "...Right. There'd be no point."

He shakes his head, "Moretti owed a lot of money. To the point that even Belmonte couldn't ignore it. The hit... was not assigned to Moretti. It was an open one. So. Even with Moretti out of the way, the potential was there."

He picks up the coffee mug, taking another sip. The drink container sets down with a small thunk. "...What question? There was a lot."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"You're being intentionally evasive." And for a moment, Bucky allows his face to lose the tourist smile and settle into the impassive facade of the Soldier. "You know what I want to know."

But soon that smile is back. "Eileen had a room with two good escape routes, blended in, kept proper operational security, and had the right reflexes in the heat of the moment. And I do mean reflexes, because I have a strong suspicion those shots were meant for Michael, not her. She did everything a good agent would have done on close protection duty. So, while I can imagine you were on hand to give her some rough guidance, my suspicion is that she was fairly skilled in her own right. So, rather than remaining evasive, why don't you tell me about Eileen Hannigan?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
There's a quirk to Savio's lips as James lists off the things that Eileen did right. Giving a slight nod. "Well, I could say we met at work but that'd be a lie. We met at a festival. Just happens we were coworkers. She finished training a bit before I did. But, never caught an assignment. Mainly desk work. Stepped out when she found out about Michael..."

Winter Soldier has posed:
There's a slight nod, as if Bucky is ticking something off a mental list, and a single eyebrow rises for a moment. "No passive involvement? She didn't act as a relay, or an occasional source?" But her DEA training would explain practically all of the peculiarities he found in her behavior, and it seems he's willing to accept the explanation at face value. Mostly because it had come out under partial duress.

"Did you know Moretti? Professionally, I mean. You implied he owed money to Belmonte, did you mean he was skimming from the top or that he was just a user with a gun and a burning desire to get back into Belmonte's good books?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Savio shakes his head. "There wasn't anything going on that she fit the bill for. And when Michael was on the way. Seemed better to distance herself from that job. It was only a matter of time before the link between us would be figured out. When that happened, it'd be easier to play off."

He frowns, "Moretti was a repeat offender type. Pissing off the wrong people. Skimming wasn't far from his MO. He frowns, "Apparently what was being offered on my family was more than enough to get in the clear. But professionally, did not interact with him. Once he pulled that trigger, I got the FYIs but couldn't get near him." There's a bit of a twitch to his lip. "Probably good judgement on Nils part."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"Did Belmonte ever make overtures towards you? Threaten your family?" That's the main sticking point. That is the one thing that doesn't add up. For all his analysis so far, Bucky still hasn't seen what the profit was for Belmonte in that hit, that very symbolic hit.

"To go after your family, on your son's birthday, and with the shots probably meant for your son... I don't know the man, or how his mind worked, but that's overkill if you don't lean on the victim first."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Belmonte was known to have a temper." Savio replies, "Strike without warning if angry enough. One of the reasons for the move to Gotham."

Savio reaches up to pinch the bridge of his nose. "As for the timing..." He shakes his head, "It was probably the easiest time to find them."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"They'd gone to the park the day before. Receptionist was seeing someone new." And with an atypical flourish, such as an excited tourist might make, Bucky folds over the map that's still in front of him, revealing the sketch of the businessman. "This man was hanging around the hotel on the day, was there regularly. Familiar?" It's a shot in the dark, but he's taken his fair share of those.

"So you would typify Belmonte as someone who, if sufficiently needled, would act with extreme prejudice? I'm still not sure why Moretti took Green with him, but I'm also no longer in a position to ask him."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"I know." Savio replies, giving a small smile, "Michael liked going there when he got a chance. You try telling a kid they can't go anywhere for their birthday."

Eyes travel down, looking to the sketch. A curious look is given to it. "No." Savio admits, glancing up to Bucky, "That hotel was popular with business travelers. Decent rates but not trashy."

Whatever wistful look may have come to his features talking about a kid in the park fades as he switches back to the less pleasant topic. "...Belmonte. Yes, wrathful. Self-Serving. Just... another reason for the directive. As for Moretti. Well. He and Green went back a long ways. Seems he may have felt like Green would do anything for him. Well, he found the Meatloaf moment."

Winter Soldier has posed:
For a moment there's a flicker of uncertainty in Bucky's eyes, as he tries to process the pop culture reference. Luckily he's not quite as an anachronism as his best friend, and gets there in the end. But for the first time, that professional glaze had shown a crack.

"It's unfortunate that the only link between Moretti and Belmonte is gone." He doesn't have to say by whose hand or why that's a shame. "Did you ever try to contact Michael after the incident, while he was in the care of his aunt? She filed several reports with the NYPD for harassment in his name, but Stuck or someone in his office made them all disappear. What I'm asking you, is if those reports would have implicated you in some way?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"He's never seen me since Eileen took him to Gotham." Savio answers, folding his arms upon the table, bringing up a hand to rub fingers upon the underside of the chin. "That's not to say I haven't seen him. But that went down a lot when he went to his aunt."

He looks over to Bucky to the mention of the reports, shaking his head. "...I didn't hear anything about Fiona filing harassment paperwork. I know about the one that landed him in the hospital though." There's a twitch to the side of his lips. "Another Moretti."

Winter Soldier has posed:
It seems like something Savio said just got crossed off on Bucky's mental checklist, but it's worth pulling a bit more at the thread that just came up.

"Another Moretti." the Soldier agrees, turning his empty cup of coffee around and around with his fingers. "Disappeared, just like that other Moretti. Doesn't seem like anyone tried very hard to find him." Pause. "Is there history between you and Stuck?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Savio doesn't say anything to the relocation comment, seemingly pondering that before glancing up in thought. "Stuck... Nothing personal. Early one so, Atlanta placement to get their group started. No notable exchanges."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"Is it, in your opinion, plausible that Stuck sought to protect you and your son after the murder?" There. He's said it. It's been nagging at Bucky for a while that he might have gotten Stuck figured wrong, and so far the answer's he's getting is causing him to re-evaluate some of the evidence he's found. "Made a deal with the NYPD to make any mention of your name disappear, stop them from poking around your son's life, taking care of... nuisances that might have come up?" Moretti's don't just disappear without a trace by themselves.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
James gets a look. Brow arching at the suggestion. "...No. He was just one of many."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"But you weren't." Fragments of conversation he's had with the disgraced agent are coming back to Bucky, and a new train of thought leaves the station. "One thing you can say for Stuck is that he inspires loyalty, whatever else he may be up to. It wouldn't make sense for him to visit Eileen's sister and stop the NYPD from investigating her harassment complaints unless he was either protecting them or harassing them. One is more likely than the other, unless there is something about him that you haven't told me. But you..."

And here he leans back for a moment, glancing up with a pause to check the reflection in that shiny surface again, making sure nobody is listening in. "... you were valuable to the project. You knew every agent that had been placed for years, and your cover was still intact. They clearly knew Michael was your son, it's likely Moretti's orders were to take out Michael. Stuck would know that, he debriefed the scumbag." Technical term. "Is there anything you know about him that would lend credence to this kind of theory?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Savio's eyes narrow at the phrasing hinting Stuck may have been closer to his son than just 'in the neighborhood'. Savio cups a hand over his mouth, as he closes his eyes. There's a pregnant pause before the hand lowers, looking to Bucky, "I keep it professional." He tilts his head, similar to the younger visage, "But...guy had the aire of a brown-noser about him. "

Winter Soldier has posed:
And now there's a nod. One between professionals. "I see." They used to call them differently in Bucky's days, but the concept is undoubtedly the same. People, even after all this time, are still just people. And Stuck rose very high, very quickly...

But even Bucky isn't free of modern problems, and a soft buzzing from his pocket seems to herald the arrival of a message. With an apologetic look to Savio, Bucky fishes out his phone, manages to unlock it on the second try, and reads the message.

    And reads.

    Eyebrows lift.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As Bucky gets a message, Savio's glance shifts to the phone produced in the agent's hand. He shifts back in his seat, picking up the mug to sip at his coffee while Bucky starts reading. But the expression upon Bucky's face is something of note. Savio sets the mug down.

Winter Soldier has posed:
Reading through the message thoroughly, Bucky finally lowers the phone, locks it, and puts it back in his pocket. The glance he now gives Savio is... less like that of an affable tourist. His eyes have gone very cold indeed.

"In your professional opinion, is there any reason whatever why two NYPD officers would be discussion the operation with someone?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As the expression upon Bucky's face changes, Savio cocks his head curiously towards the soldier. Upon the question being asked, Savio's frown deepens. "It's only the two departments. If NYPD got pulled in for something the whole matter would be documented like crazy."

And redacted even crazier should someone want to look the information up but, that goes without saying really.

Winter Soldier has posed:
"I see." There's that phrase again. "And none of your regular contacts ever met by the sea lions in the central park zoo? Or the Tavern on the green?" Maybe those two locations will spark some kind of understanding.

"I now have proof positive that information about the operation was being leaked, and leaked to two officers who were instrumental in blocking anything regarding your son except for the assault by Dennis Moretti." Slowly Bucky's smile returns to something a bit more natural. "And I have every reason to suspect that one of those officers then murdered Dennis Moretti on the orders of Stuck."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"No. We controlled it to where meetings were monitored." Savio responds, "It was new once but there was still procedure." He shifts a hand over, pinching the bridge of his nose, "Just what assery-" He pauses, the other hand clenches closed. "So...You're saying Stuck is a mole? Why the FUCK. Would he give a shit about my son? He's not involved. Never pulled in. About as distant as we could possibly make him."

Winter Soldier has posed:
By now the series of messages has been burned into Bucky's memory. "Unknown at the moment, but they referred to him in code, whiskey sierra. His aunt was whiskey tango. One of the officers always called a burner phone whenever something about him crossed their desk, or whenever they saw a news report about him they believed their contact would find interesting. Said contact then received instructions from elsewhere if the news was interesting enough. The messages also confirm that the shots fired at your son during the condo raid were sanctioned, and that the sanction for that action has now been revoked."

There's a brief pause. "You say that all the meetings were monitored. Is there any legitimate reason you can think of for an unmonitored meeting? And does the command Delta Charlie mean anything to you?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
I can't think of a reason." Savio replies, "They're monitored to make sure no one goes off the rails..." He pauses, "And what you're describing is a train wreck."

He pauses, "WS...DC... I don't know. No command. But if they're texting, maybe it's shorthand or an abbreviation. Um. DC... Direct Current. Washington DC, Discount, Discontinue, Disconnect." He pauses, "A lot of words that start with Dis...I'm more wondering the reason for the WS."

Winter Soldier has posed:
There's a sudden change in Bucky's body language, and he's once again the affable and slightly too foreign tourist, folding up the map he's been using as a prop with so many complicated fold that it's impossible to tell if it's still in the same orientation that he put it down. But it leaves something... a transparent plastic wallet, containing what appears to be a pass for a particular concert. In Florida.

"Much thanks for chit chat, but really already I take too many of your time."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Savio watches as the map gets folded. A slight glimpse of the wallet does raise his interest. In particular the name on the event. He calmly lowers his hand, resting it upon the wallet to hide it from view. "Thank you for joining. It was an interesting conversation..."

Winter Soldier has posed:
"I learn many things also. Good noon." And with another smile and a nod, Bucky stands and ambles his way out. Strange fella, but at least he's proving one thing about the Dutch... he left only enough money on the table to pay for his own coffee.
