Cast of Characters: Phantasm (Drago), Archangel

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
While many would swear by early morning flights, there are some merits to the late night ones. For one who travels as much as Nick does, the key thing that comes to mind is that the food options suck less in the afternoon and evenings. Case in point. Right now, the rockstar is currently being shown to a table at one of the sit down dining options that still had seats to offer.

He's not picky. People still can order food at the bar and being that he's the only one traveling tonight, he's opted for that. While Bobby Van's has all the earmarks of being a fancy restaurant, the location in the airport does provide a bit of slack to accomodate for the traveler attire. This is good because- Well.

Rocker. The clothes may be high end but at the end of the day its still a black shirt and jeans. But at least the worn leather jacket the pony tailed musician threw over it does help offset that a little helps. Thank goodness for the artic level air conditioning in the building.

Archangel has posed:
Warren Kenneth Worthington III is known in certain circles, financial and political ones, but to the general public, he is just a regular guy. He doesn't attract attention, except when he starts splashing the cash. He'd prefer to live a quiet life, away from the spotlight, just enjoying life, his fortune, and doing good when he chooses to act as the Avenging Angel, who was an X-Man, not an Avenger.
He had just come in from a flight, and rather than head for his car, he decided he was still a bit peckish, so headed to one of the sit down restaurants in the airport. He was dressed down, although everything he wore was designer. It did not show it. That was often the call of high end fashion. It didn't need to have branding. The jacket, shirt, and jeans, all looked good, form fitting, and without a logo, wordmark, or anything to be seen. The shirt was patterned, black, teal, and navy blue squares in a small diamond pattern, with white and gold separating them.
He met with the maitre d', and was escorted to a table, one that happened to be next the table that Nick was sat at.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As Nick was led over to the bar area and shown to a table near it. The musician gives a nod of thanks as he sits down. Taking up the menu. He blinks a few times, looking to the contents. Even though he could easily afford what was on the menu there's still a bit of sticker shock. that comes when he deals with menus like these. But, food is food and the other places were full up.

Focused upon the menu, he does not see as Warren is seated at the table near him. Or that he's positioned to be facing towards him to increase upon the distance. But upon the menu lowering, well- Warren's a hard guy to miss. Especially when he seems- so dang familiar. Where has he seen that guy before?

Archangel has posed:
Warren doesn't place Nick, not having met him in this form, and he isn't too familiar with the latest celebrities. Unless he met him at a party, and even then, there was little chance of Warren taking note. He does however notice the man looking at him, but doesn't address it for now.
Instead, he focuses on the menu, not paying any attention to the costs. When the waiter comes over, Warren says, "I'm ready to order. I'll have the Pistachio crumbled Lamb Rack with parsnip parmesan puree, with caramelized butter fennel sauce, and whatever wine you think pairs best with it."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As Warren glances over to him, one would think Nick would avert his glance but it lingers for a few clicks more before he glances to the menu, giving a shrug. His eyes skim to the bottom of the menu and then shifts upwards, landing upon something that seems to fit his moood. Then menu is closed and set down upon the table, somehow summoning up a server of his own. "Steak wrap, replace the fries with potato. And water. No ice." Giving a soft smile to the server, he hands over the menu, watching as the employee walks off.

The glance shifts back over to Warren. There's just that nagging feeling.

Archangel has posed:
It was odd to have someone glancing at him. It did happen from time to time, someone wanting a grant, a job, or to invest in some amazing business opportunity that was going to change the world. He got very different looks when saving people. Some felt he was a messenger from god. That got old very fast. He had no more desire to be someone's religious icon than he did to be somebody's piggy bank. Warren took in the atmosphere, seeing people's luggage near their tables, some young girl, probably about 13, returning to her parents, desperate to buy something from one of the nearby stores, and cash given to her by her parents.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Excuse me, but have we met before?" Nick asks. Rude perhaps? Maybe. But, best get the question out of the way now rather than continually trying to place the guy all through dinner. No one is doing anyone favors there. "You seem familiar."

He's met a lot of people in his career to be honest. And he can't remember all their names unfortunately.

Archangel has posed:
Warren raises a single eyebrow, slightly. He was good at hiding his emotions in public. That was a strange approach, but shook his head in the negative, "I don't believe so. Why do you ask?" He did not recognize Nick at all. Although he had met the man, the man was more of a werewolf at the time. "My name is Warren."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick shakes his head, leaning forward slightly as he rests his scarred and unscared forearms upon the table. The right hand balls up into the palm of the left. "I don't know, I just feel like I've seen you before" The pointer finger of the left hand extends towards Warren briefly before lowering, cupping the other hand once more, "and I just can't place it."

The hands pitch back slightly, left thumb gesturing to himself. "My Name is Nick if that jogs anything."

Archangel has posed:
It was at this point that the little girl came back, holding a magazine, which just happened to have Warren's face on it. He wasn't the featured cover, but was the top left small little box. With a subtle gesture towards the cover, in plain view to both of them, "oh, I wouldn't know where you would get that idea. Can't say I know a Nick that meets your description." He was almost worried that Nick was trying to flirt with him now, that this might be a line. He thought to himself, should he let the man down gently that he doesn't swing that way.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
With the hint of movement to the side involving the little girl. Nick's eyes catch glimpse of the magazine being held up. He looks over to Warren and then back to the magazine. "Ah. Mystery solved." He offers an apologetic nod to Warren. "My mistake."

Mike goes quiet, bringing his arms up to rest his chin upon protruding thumbs while the girl flips through the magazine and seemingly asks her mother for something.

Archangel has posed:
"Don't worry about it, happens all the time," though rarely so brazenly. And with that, his food arrived. It looked delicious, and soon, he found it tasted just as good. He paid little attention to the family discussing things, instead, focusing on his food. That was the reason he came here after all.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The food was indeed the reason for coming here and with the mystery sort of squared away, Nick didn't give it much more thought as he was eventually presented his food and beverage. Famished, he takes a bite.

"Mr. Drago?"

Nick's chewing slows as he turns his head, seeing the girl standing at his table, Magazine in hand with a finger marking off a page while in the other hand. A pen.

"Mmhmm?" He replies closed mouthed. Bringing a hand up to his mouth as he swallows his food.

The girl opens up the magazine and turns it around, showing a two page spread showing the cover art of an old book and several pictures various persons, one of which is of him from his Thornton role. "Could you sign this?"

Archangel has posed:
Warren took note of the girl asking for Nick's autograph. Funny that she asked him, when Warren was on the cover, even if he was one of those smaller photos on the side, still, a cover was a cover. It didn't get to him. It seemed that Nick was a movie star, musician, or some kind of more mainstream celebrity. Warren was one more out of the fact that he owned sports teams, had financed movies, probably owned a record label, he would have to double check that. It was so hard to keep track, Worthington Industries was so diverse. More than once he had expressed interest in purchasing something, only to be informed that he already owned it. He continued to eat his food.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick smiles to the girl, sliding his dish away to make room for the magazine. "Sure." Uncapping the pen, he looks to the layout of the page and finds an area where the ink would show up on it better. There's a few scribbles of handwriting before Nick looks to the open magazine spread, capping his pen. Once the shine of the ink dulls, he hands the still open magazine over to the girl. "There you go." A glance is given to the table the girl came from as food is being set down. "Oh looks like your food's ready. Best not to let that get cold."

Child moving along, Nick turns back to his table, sliding his food back towards him. He continues eating as well.
