Sarah Connor has posed:
It was evening. No one wanted to be indoors, it was finally a cool night.

Leaving John to fend for himself, Sarah went out. With her pistol on the back of her waistbands, and on her leg in a holster, and the bigger guns hidden in her pickup, she felt ready for a nice, relaxing evening.

For the time she's just looking at the scenery, having parked her pickup along a quiet street, and walking.

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
A cool night is the only excuse or reason that Vitali needs in order to venture outside. After the heat of the day, the cool is welcome. For not the first time, he has made his way to Chinatown. He walks with an easy stride, not seeming to be in a rush at all. He wears a pair of black steel-toed boots, black jeans, and a blue turtleneck shirt that has long sleeves that are actually pulled down to his wrists.

His long black hair has been tamed into a braid at the nape of his neck, the length of it trailing down his back. His dark gaze lifts for a moment, and he easily picks out the shape of his eagle soaring some distance above him. He didn't need to look in order to know that she was there, but sometimes he does anyway. His left hand slips into the pocket of his jeans, and his right hand lightly rests on the leather satchel that rests there, the strap of which rests diagonally across his body.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Of course, Sarah has her tank top on, with a loose shirt hiding her pistol..

As she walks on she stops in front of a street vendor selling street food. "Two please." She holds up her hand. 'Two' she gestures. She assumes she's ordering something that looks like meat on a stick, but in fact she could be ordering anything.

As she waits, she looks around.

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
The smell of the street food draws Vitali's attention, and he tilts his head slightly to one side as he considers the meat on a stick. He could hunt for himself, and he usually does. The path of his steps shifts, and he starts to head in the direction of the vendor, reaching the cart after a couple of moments. He waits patiently whilst the woman does her business with the vendor, seeming not to be in a hurry.

While he waits, the eagle circles overhead, and then she wings her way down to come up behind Vitali. He lifts his left arm without even looking towards the eagle, and she lands lightly on his forearm, her wings flipping to her back before she gives a soft click of her beak. "Is good evening," he offers, giving a small nod to her.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Sarah lifts a brow - especially as the eagle lights on his shoulder.

"It's bearable." Still looked at the eagle. "You don't find it a problem on the busy streets?" Especially Chinatown. *Now* her gaze turns to his face. "I really know what I have ordered. I suppose we'll see. Do you speak what they do?"

The wrong continent for Sarah.

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
The Siberian lifts one of his hands to lightly stroke his fingers along the eagle's breast. He glances briefly towards the eagle, then turns his attention back to the woman and gives a small nod. "Da. Is better than middle of day. Prefer cooler," he says, his tone thoughtful.

"Mm, streets not big problem. People, sometimes. Cars, sometimes," Vitali says softly, watching her. "Try to avoid crowds. Not always easy," he adds, lifting his free shoulder in a slight shrug. He tilts his head a touch to one side, looking to the meat on a stick before looking back to the woman. "Is beef. Not speak Chinese, but friend tell me once when ask," he says, giving a nod. "Friend speak Chinese," he explains.

Sarah Connor has posed:
A soft hrmph is given. "Beef? Good guess. I'm shocked there aren't more people out this evening." Then Sarah almost smiles. *Almost*. "Your friend speaks, I'm guessing .. Mandarin?"

Just then her order was up. In South America they often stopped on the sides of the road to eat from the vendors. Here in Chinatown was, surprisingly, a similar sort of thing. She was impressed.

"It is my first time in Chinatown." She moves over to let him order.

Vitali Svyatoslav has posed:
"Da, is beef," Vitali says, giving a nod to her. He takes a moment to look about the area, and then he lifts his free shoulder in a bit of a shrug. "Others, maybe, like warm better. Cool better. Cool is more like home," he comments, giving a small nod to her. "Da, speak Mandarin. Has taught small words, only few. Am still learning English. English still broken," he adds, a bit apologetically.

"Two, please," Vitali requests of the vendor, when it's his turn. Then he looks over to her, one of his eyebrows quirking up slightly. "Have come few times. Sometimes by self, sometimes with friend. Is good place. Not find trouble often, here," he says. Then he lifts his right hand, to touch his fingers to his chest briefly. "Am Vitali," he offers.
