Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has came walking through the mansion. He had some things he had to attend to back home, and with alexis' family so has not been seen in a while. He figures it is a good thing to come check in on Kit, and see how the young man's studies are coming.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit has been studying! Apparently, he's been studying a lot, since he can be found even now reclining in a bean bag and thumbing through an ancient looking book, twiddling the fingers of his other paw in the air almost like he's drawing patterns. The sound of footsteps though gets him to glance up from his book and give a little wave to Sam, "Hey Mr. Guthrie." he says with a smile.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over to the yeen, and offers a smile "Hey Kit, how are things going?" He will ask, he walks over to grab himself a water, motioning in question if Kit wants one. He will grab him one if he does heading over to walk back to sit near Kit.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit nods to the motioned question, pulling a ribbon across the page he's on in his book before closing it, "Pretty well. Jax and I are going to be going out on our first hunt together soon." Yup, he's still going out looking for trouble, though he hasn't come back too badly banged up for quite a while now. "I got to meet the other students I'll be training with at the dojo too."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "So, your going to be taking classes out there on the regular?" He nods a bit and says "Seemed a decent place, if there is anything I can do to help with it let me know." He hands over the water and has a seat. "The book working out well?"

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit takes the drink with a simple, "Thank you." and a little nod. "And yeah, I decided to start taking classes there. The people there are interesting and it seems like a useful thing to learn." Then he cracks open the water and takes a drink before glancing to the book. "It's actually an interesting one, won't lie. It deals with some pretty old magic too." Then he gives Sam a little smile and adds, "Thanks again for settling that issue by the way, it's helped a lot.."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Illyana has a reason for most things she does, but yea she does have a lot on her plate at times, and I am sure she would have gotten more back to you if things had not been quite so hectic." He sips his own drink, and says "So, it sending you in any specific avenues of magic?"

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit shakes his head a little as he eyes the book and gives a little chuckle, "This one's more about divination and ritualistic necromancy. Neither of which I really plan to study personally, but it's better to learn for the sake of being able to identify it."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and says "Well divination might be handy, Necromancy, well thats a bit blah, have had my feel of dealing with undead with hela's things.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
"This is more.. Talking to dead things and less bringing them back to life." Kit says with a little grin. "But yeah, good skill to have if the need ever arrives, not something that's as useful on a practical level."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "With the way folks come back around here, not sure how how quick you would have to be to catch them." He jokes a bit but says "Though never take it for granted that someone is someone is coming back.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit just nods and chuckles quietly. "I mean, I'd assume that someone coming back to life is either an act of necromancy or divine intervention honestly. That or they simply weren't dead to begin with." Then he takes another drink and wiggles into the bean bag chair to get comfy as he adds, "They actually used to mistake people coming out of a comatose state for someone coming back to life fairly often a couple hundred years ago, which amuses me a bit."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Some of us just come back ." He says, is he mentioning that he is immortal? "With powers and all kinds of things you never know for sure with folks around here."

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit pauses for a moment, then just nods and muses, "I mean, with the right sort of power, I could see that happening, yeah." with a shrug. "Would be weird to see, but meh." Then he gives Sam a glance and tilts his head to one side, one of his ears perking up a little as he asks, "Have /you/ ever died and come back?" curiously.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "Sentinel pierced me through the chest with one of the tentacles and I was dead for a good 4 or 5 minutes. Kitty removed the cable, and a few minutes later, I was up fighting again

Kit Killovarras has posed:
There's another little moment of pause as his head tilts a little further, bordering on something that almost looks like it should be painful before he gives a little, "Huh.. Wouldn't have guessed."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "I would not have either to be honest, but it happened." He looks at the other man, and says "My brother has came back as well, but his seems more based on his regeneration. I don't regenerate"

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit nods, looking to the ceiling for a moment before glancing over to Sam again, "People who regenerate coming back isn't that strange from what I've read.. There are several people on record who could theoretically regenerate from pretty extreme conditions, so long as one or two of their atoms aren't destroyed."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit in agreement. "Yea, we have a few who have." He hmmms and says "So what are ya hoping to work with next?"

Kit Killovarras has posed:
There's a little shrug from the yeen as he admits, "Not sure honestly.. I've been thinking of looking for an old copy of Atria Mentis, since I've always been pretty fascinated with the concept illusions."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "I will talk to Illyana and see if we can figure out if we have something to help.
