Synopsis:	Skye's performance assesment and a chat about her future with the Director.

Nick Fury has posed:
Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD, Director and custodian of the security for the world was in his office on the Helicarrier ODYSSEY

Today was a good day. As good as any other, and today was the day he was reviewing performance assesments from all the senior Agents right down to Level 5s. Maybe not as good a day as you might think.

Coffee was present. And lots of it. Fury was going over the reports on several Agents and shaking his head. "In my day..."

Quake has posed:
Skye was next on his list. Quite frankly, she wasn't sure about this. She worked her way back into the field, only to lose her partner. That's right, Clint was on sabbatical, and Skye was almost certain he was going to ask for a new partner. To put it politely, Skye was not happy.

"Yes?" She knocked on the edge of his office door. "You rang?"

Nick Fury has posed:
STanding up, Fury waves Skye into his office. "Come in. This shouldn't take long Agent Johnson." Motioning towards the seat in front of his desk, Fury sits down.

"It is good to see you again. I know a lot has happened since last we spoke, so we can skip the unpleasantries and get to the pleasatries. Your assessment is fine. My concern is for you." A pause. "How are you doing?"

Quake has posed:
Skye walked ined, and closed the door.

"Should I tell you the abbreviated version, or should I lie?" It must be bad, she wasn't making a joke, or pretending nothing was wrong. "He's moved out. I don't know what's going on in his head. He told me he needed some time to think. To hunt up his father. Well, his story." She shrugs. "It's been almost a year. You tell me, what does it mean?"

Nick Fury has posed:
Fury pushes the report pad over to Skye for her signature and then takes a moment to look at her directly with his one eye.

"You never have to lie to me Agent Johnson. I can handle it. As I know you can." Fury sits back in the chair, and says, "Men."

Fury ALMOST smiles. "A year is a long time. However, he may be telling you the truth. I can look into it myself if you need me too. Otherwise, perhaps, moving on may be an option to consider. It is all about you and how you take care of you."

Quake has posed:
She signed, without looking.

"It's not like I haven't thought of that, it's that there isn't anyone available." She was a agent. Not anyone would be appropriate. "I'm.. worried. Can you check on him? I realize he's prob.. he.." A deep breath, and exhaled slowly. "He's gone. I'll be the third woman to be friends not lovers. Just, make sure he's okay?"

There. She'd done it. She's told Fury.

"I think I need a new partner, or be on my own as a Special Agent."

Nick Fury has posed:
Fury nods. "We can discuss that Agent Johnson. You need to decide. Take a few days off. Come back, then we can discuss a new partner, or some solo mission ideas. You will always be one of the best Agents that SHIELD has and you need to remember that. Now get out of my office before I change my mind." For anyone that knows Fury, that last was said a lot softer than if he actually meant it. You know. Image. Someone was always watching.
