Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie had planned to stop by the X-factor offices, but upon getting there, they were all out with no note saying when they would be back. It could be a short time, or weeks, with the X-Folks you never know. So Sam figured since he was already around might as well grab something to eat, and wait to see if they show while he is eating. This bring Sam to Gino's Pizza. It is his first time here, so once inside he looks about the place taking it in. He steps up to the side of the counter considering what to order.

Rogue has posed:
Being known for being very anti-social, it's likely a surprise to see a Rogue step into Gino's pizza. She definitely doesn't seem like a Brooklyn girl, but when needs must - she'll come in for a slice because she's on this side of town and hungry. It's nice to see a friendly face in the joint, as she spies Sam standing off to the side. She's in her normal body suit and gloves, hair tied back, that whole nine yards. Only this isn't her X-Suit, so she doesn't have the belt that displays an X on it, but she stands out like a sore thumb anyway most days she wears this outfit. "Well hey there, Sam. Fancy runnin' into you here. What's got you out in Brooklyn?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and smiles a bit as he sees Rogue "Hey, how ya doing?" He asks friendly. "I was hoping to catch the guys at Factor was going to have them look into a few things for me. Fixing to grab something to eat, hang out a bit see if they get back in, want to join me?"

Rogue has posed:
"I'm good, Sam. Thanks." Rogue offers with a smile, listening as he lets her in on his day. "Oh. Yeah sure, I don't mind joining ya while ya wait." This said as she looks at the menu. "What were you thinking of getting? We could split a pizza if you want."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Was thinking either meat lover, or the works." He admits when he thinks a bit about the pizza, and says "I can do pretty much anything on it, if you have something you either like or dislike." He offers her a smile. "Just hope they have some decent sweet tea."

Rogue has posed:
"Oh come on..." Rogue says and then lowers her voice while leaning in a little closer so only Sam can hear her. "Decent sweet tea in yankieville? I doubt it. Might as well just have a soda or somethin' and we can get tea back at the mansion cause we know it's made proper." Then she leans back again and smiles. "I don't mind either way. Fan of the meat lovers myself. Do they do wings here?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shrugs and says "We can ask." He tells her and steps up getting a large meat lovers, and asking about wings. Thinking about it he orders a Dr. Pepper to drink and looks over to Rogue to let her add anything she wants to add. He tells her "Lunch is on me." He offers with a smile.

Rogue has posed:
"I'll take a Pepsi if you got it, or Dr. Pepper if you don't." Rogue says, drinks wise. Pizza, wings (hot) and drinks - but when Sam offers to pay for it, she'll go to protest but then smiles. "Fine. This time." She says, because she's also getting used to people actually being nice to her for a change. "So, tell me about this thing you're presenting to Factor? Unless you'd rather keep it secret."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Well, there is two things actually, one Ah had one of the waitstaff at the club go missing, Ah have asked around but not heard anything, so figured have them look into it. Then also curious if they might be able to find any information out for me on that Avengers convoy thing that was in the paper the other day. " He will lead to a seat, and does pull her seat out for her. Being around the accent some old habits just come out without thinking

Rogue has posed:
"Oh Sam, that's awful. M'sorry ta hear someone went missin'. Ya got any leads?" Asking this much before he pulls out her seat and Rogue smiles. "Thank ya kindly." Sitting herself, she adjusts a bit and then seems to consider. "I think I remem'er readin' about that. Couldn't tell ya much more cause I don't keep up with the Avengers none." A pause. "Hank does though. But I mean, an Avenger's convoy ain't nothin' new is it?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Could just be out and about but better to be safe than sorry, and the convoy. Not sure, Ah mean it was attacked by AIM, and their leader had some kind of sonic vertigo gun, and a whole passel of other goons and bonus goons."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue considers a moment and then nods. "If you want, I can ask Hand about it. I talk to him on the regular these days..." She pauses. "We're actually sorta seein' each other. Romantic like." Then she smiles again. "So I can see if he's got any kinda lead if ya really are interested in it." Their drinks arrive then and she takes a sip.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises a bit but he says "Congratz." He shrugs a bit and says "Would not mind knowing a bit more, the unnammed hero that was there, happened to be a southern gentleman, and now he is curious.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue ah's a bit and then nods her head. "Actually..." She pulls out her cell phone from god only knows where and shoots off a message. "Might be able to tell you something before we finish lunch." Which is promptly arriving.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and will get himself some after he has dished her up a decent bit of each "So what have you been up to of late?" I mean with working the club and such aint seen you much.

Rogue has posed:
"Little bit here and there. Hank's been helpin' me try and figure out how to control my powers... but..." Well she did mention Sinister before, which caused Remy to lay into her if Sam remembers right. "You know, I really should come down to the club one night. I've been tryin' to get out more. Work on socializing a bit."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "You should come on out to the club, we have fun there. I keep it friendly since I do have some of the students working part time out there, so you can come out have fun and no big worries." He offers with a smile."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue grins. "Yeah, I'd really like that." Offering this before her phone tones and she checks the message. "Ah, unfortunately, Hank's not heard anything about a convoy attack. But he'll look into if you want?" At least saying this much before she picks up a slice of pizza to take a bite.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "Na, it aint a big thing just curious more than anything." He admits. "So how is the control thing coming along?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue nods and sends just that back to Hank. "Fair enough." This much more before she looks down a moment. "Not entirely sure. It's likely something to do with fear. Which means I need someone to delve into my mind." A pause. "Which...is why I've been talking with Sinister."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her, and says "Well, I will admit Ah don't trust him, but your a grown woman, your decision. Ah would have thought though it is was something mental like that the Prof would have been able to help. " He admits, and says "Ah know, Ah did not have as much issue, and when Ah was having issues it was no where near the same level of issues, but if you need to talk am here.

Rogue has posed:
"No one does. Even I don't. However, believe it or not, he is a gentleman when it comes to favors and promises. If I'm careful, I won't get harmed. I ain't heard from the Prof in a bit. Jean's a bit...unstable..and the only other telepath or empath I've known is Emma, and she ain't around. So... m'kinda stuck..." She says this much before giving a shrug. "I appreciate you bein' here to talk, and I really appreciate ya not giving me a third degree lecture like Remy did."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her, and says "Well it took me a bit to trust Emma, and Ah don't see trusting Sinister, but as Ah said Ah trust you." He looks down at the pizza, and says "Do me a favor, if I ever ask you your favorite pizza toppings tell me Anchovy and Pinapple."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue tilts her head. "Anchovy and pineapple? Are you trying to give me some sort of code only we'll know?" Asking this before she digs into one of the wings, devouring it and wiping her mouth after. She really doesn't say more about Sinister, letting that topic fade for a bit.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "Yea, just to be on the safe side." He offers her in explanation. "So, how did you and Hank hook up?

Rogue has posed:
Rogue blushes a little. "Funny story, really. I've always adored Hank. He's super nice, and smart, and an all around good guy. I was having a moment where... my powers got turned off. Please don't ask how. And..." She sighs. "Well Hank and I were talkin', and I was havin' him test some things cause of the aforementioned power pause... and I kissed him. Then we went on a date. Now we're just kinda...seein' each other."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Hey I can't saw much I met my girl while she was playing music on the street, and found out she was really a rich girl hiding her mutant abilities while trying to help people.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue chuckles. "It's just... it's kinda weird cause I used ta always go ta Hank and lament about my troubles. He always had a way of puttin' them into a new perspective for me." She works on another slice of pizza. "So everything else is going well?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and says "Yea, May is talking about sending Melody up for classes this fall, since her powers showed up recently. She about broke her arm when they did. She flys and has a glowing field around her, but it does not seem to provide her with any protection
