Date of Scene: 25 March 2022
Location: Hammer Bay, Genosha
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Beast, Rogue, Magneto

Beast has posed:
Well, there are things that Charles and Erik disagreed on. There are things that Charles and some of his proteges disagreed on, also. Winning arguments a time or two did mean that keeping an eye on the overall health of the island is something that Hank McCoy put very firmly in his column of To-dos. The fact he's the primary mechanic for the Blackbird means going on strike for a while can be problematic -- and the Bird did get an overhaul lately. Time for a test flight and visit. Flight control on the island copied his radioing, authorized for landing after verification and down toward the helipad she descends. No runway necessary. "Can you doublecheck the inventory for the clinics here? I'm powering down..." is called into the back "...I'm assuming there'll be a landing party coming to collect, but you never know. Logistics and people, they never quite go hand in hand. I wonder if Erik's around."

Such musings happen in the aftermath of that familiar shadow passing overhead of Magneto's line of sight. There is no mistaking that jet after all.

Rogue has posed:
"All stuff for the clinics are present and accounted for. I double and triple checked, just because I knew you'd want me to." Rogue offers this as she comes up from the back and smiles to the pilot. "I suppose it ain't too terri-bad that we come here to help those on the island..." She comments to Hank and then - once the Bird has landed - she opens the hatch staircase to descend down and actually see if there is a landing party to greet them and grab the cargo.

Magneto has posed:
Genosha was a paradise. Charles and Erik often disagreed on how to change the world for mutants. While these views were -vastly- different from one another, let no one say that Magneto is not effective. Rather than wait for public opinion to change, he went and conquered the island of Genosha, removing the anti-mutant rulers and humans and instead making it a home for -all- mutants..

and -only- for mutants.

Of course, Magneto was king. Who wouldn't want him to be? That is a -very- long list indeed. But he has created a paradise of it's own currency, awarded Genosha a place on the world stage, and even built luxurious homes for all mutants. For truly, it was a privilege to count oneself as a mutant. No poverty exists here on this island, only success and more importantly - peace.

Erik walks through the streets of his creation, adorned in shades of purple and red, his helmet in the crook of his arm as his eyes look around. People bow to the King of Genosha and Erik is not arrogant towards them. He loves these people as if they were his own children. He accepts an apple from a young mutant girl with large horns on her head and a prehensile tail, taking a bite of it and nodding approvingly to her as he keeps moving.

Paradise.

Magneto has posed:
That bird is an eyesore. Erik looks up at the Blackbird as it's shadow moves along the ground of his lands. Magneto's eyes look to the heavens as he begins to float with a lift of his hand, his body levitating off of the ground as he approached the landing site.

As soon as Beast asked the question, he may look out the viewport to see Magneto patiently waiting for the X-Men to exit. With him, and Rogue will see, are multiple individuals of strength and formality. Looks like a small party has been prepared for the arrival of the mutant heroes.

"X-Men." Magneto starts. "Welcome to Genosha."

Beast has posed:
"That would be a yes, then..." Beast murmurs in a too-bright tone as he spots the figures on the sunshine and tarmac. "Awesome sauce, Anna-Marie. But I wouldn't be me if I didn't double check the doublecheck and tick it all off ticketty boo. You got the big pallettes? I'll handle the hoverdolly..." When your partner in crime of the moment has superstrength, why not?

Pushing the dolly of supplies down the ramp, there's a squint against the african sunshine and a cheerful waggle of the fingers as the Big Blue slips down the ramp with the MULE ahead of him. A glance, or rather a quick mental tally is sent around the group of Strength and Formality. At least he's wearing his uniform, which honestly consists of very little -- the less constraint on the gymnast the better. "Greetings and salutations and so forth, Salve, Gutten tag, Shalom, Dommo Arigato, lots of other greetings... ah. Erik. And co." A gesture is then made at the pile of medical supplies. "It's been a while."

The electronic manifest is held up, waved. "Who should I dutifully hand this thing off to?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue smiles and nods, brushing a gloved hand over one of Hank's shoulders while they're still on the Bird and then nods. "Of course. And I'll grab whatever you need me to." She says this much, picking up and taking down the pallets as requested. One after the other and then she pauses when Hank is greeting Erik. She's in her X-Men uniform as well, the whole black body suit with white gloves ensemble, her brown hair with the white streak up in a ponytail.

"Nice to be here." She offers. "It's also good to see you, Erik." Is it tho? Is it really? Perhaps that is yet to be actually seen. But if they're here on delivery services, something about Magneto's relationship with the X-Men must be okay.

Magneto has posed:
Beast descends down the ramp of the Blackbird and he is greeted by the ensemble. Some of them look like guards, others like workers. Beast manages to hit at least 5 of the original nationalities of those present. They seem to look a little bit amused at the Beast, yet at the same time they've seen him withX-Men and Avengers in his time. They clearly lookup to him.

Erik nods only once to Hank McCoy, tilting his head as a large mutant with seemingly hardened clay for skin reaches for the manifest and starts to read it off, if Hank is so kind. "Mr. Amore will take it. It is good to see you too, doctor."

Rogue receives MANY looks from the gathered mutants, each of a different emotion. "Likewise, Rogue. Though I must say..." He takes a deep breath. "I am curious as to the nature of your visit. You have arrived in uniform. Should I assume you come bearing more than medicine?" Erik just asking the necessary questions.

Beast has posed:
"I would be lying if I said we were," Beast replies, handing over the manifest without any protest at all. "This isn't part of Xavier's list of charitable doings, but we still represent. I arranged the resupply -- Genosha is recognized by the united nations, but there's still a lot of antagonism out there that I absolutely do -not- have to tell you about. The uniform just makes things more recognizable and semi-official. This is courtesy of myself and multiple arguments and some cunning appropriation from the Avengers. Sovereign nations need the outside. Even here. So." He gestures at the supplies.

There's a deep inhale, a look to Rogue with a bobble up of brows as if to provide team solidarity and he looks back. "There's turmoil in your neighbourhood again, Erik. Not a month ago, I had to prevent a nuclear power plant going into meltdown in one of the african nations, civil war... all that. It'd be a fool that comes playing silly sods on Genosha's shores, but I just wanted to make sure nothing has knocked up against you here."

Rogue has posed:
"Yeah. M'just here supportin' Hank cause he asked me to come along. The outfit is just in case..." Rogue confirms and then shrugs her shoulders. She looks to Hank as the doctor explains some things that have happened recently in the area and then shifts her gaze back to Erik. There's not much more she has to say on the matter, and with many eyes staring at her, she's more ready to retreat back into the Blackbird. "Hank... I'll be in the bird once you're done here... just... holler if I'm needed, yeah?" Then she turns to do just that.
