Phobos has posed:
    This time last year Alexander Aaron's life was hectic. Very busy with a myriad of duties preying upon him considering his job as a member of SHIELD's tactical response team. It had been a good job, all told, and he had made some friends for life there in the ranks of the intelligence agency. But one year later...
    And life was different. Not necessarily bad. Far from it. Just different. But one thing it did leave open for him... was a lot more free time. And filling that free time cold be a bear.
    Which has been the reason he had returned to Empire State University. Graduate school beckoned, yet that... was not something he had considered too seriously in the past. But now? It left the blond young man standing outside the ESU library, hands in the pockets of his black peacoat. The day was cold, a sudden snap of bitterness from Winter as it faded with Spring coming so soon. Just a nip in the air but thankfully no snow. It was the end of classes for the day, and through the quad of the university students wandered this way and that.
    For a time Alex watched them, hand holding the strap of his old backpack, and from afar he might look... horribly distant and alone at the same time.

Speedy (Queen) has posed:
"Are you slacking?" Thea asks Phobos as she approachs, seeing him watching another crowd of studients. Dressed in blank jean, her cropped band T and dark eyeliner, she almost looks the part of a college student, if she didnt appear older than them,. "You know that doesnt look good on your record."

Phobos has posed:
    He does look older than the normal crew of students wandering around, something in the pale hazel eyes as he stands next to the stairs that lead on up to the library. A handful of people are talking in groups, discussing some of the pamphlets that have been handed out. Others wander up and down heading off or heading in to study.
    But Alexander, he had been looking a touch distracted. So when he's addressed by the young woman approaching he tilted his head to the side and let his gaze fall heavily upon her.
    "Slacking?" There's a tilt the other way, almost like a quizzical canine. Then he smirks a little, "I'd have to be, like, an actual student to be slacking."
    Which might be a vague answer, then he elaborates, "But no, totally not slacking. I'm pondering." Much different than slacking. This pondering.

Speedy (Queen) has posed:
"are you not" Thea grins, "I thought you were with your baby face." but she must ask, "What are you pondering? Shall I be into the secret?" Folding her hands one after the the other.

Phobos has posed:
    A small chortle comes from him as he only then starts to walk down the steps, as if it were just common place for a curious gal to wander up to him and just start talking. But he hops off the last step then tilts his head to peer after her. "I was pondering..." His eyebrows lift, "If I should further my education. If you must know."
    A good bit taller than Thea, Alexander Aaron does seem at ease. Sometimes when she talks to young men likely they might be a bit bashful or flustered, but this blond fellow seems utterly at ease as he stuffs his hands into his pockets and starts to walk down the sidewalk in the quad, though taking his time and keeping a slow pace likely expecting her to follow if she were so inclined.
    "Grad school. But I'd likely have to go into academia to do anything with my degree." He makes a face, "Which seems kinda like a waste."
