Cast of Characters: Cannonball, Kit Killovarras, Gambit

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is out in the garage. He has his restored motorcycle out in the repair area, and a toolbox of tools nearby as he is taking his time going over it making sure it is in good condition.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Is it a curious thing to find a yeen lurking in a garage? Maybe, but aardwolves are the naturally curious sort, so finding a particular yeen suddenly wandering around and looking at things might not be that strange of a thing.

Sam working on the motorcycle though catches his attention and his ears perk up and he decides to sit and watch. He's silent for the time being, but that's sort of just in his nature too. Sneaky yeen!

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie does not notice him at first, but after a few minutes he does. Sam does not jump be it nerves of steel or in this school you just get used to people being there one moment and not the next and vise versa. "Hey Kit, how you doing?" He will ask the man, as he is adjusting something with the engine.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
"Pretty good." Kit says with a little smile, one ear tilting slightly to the side. "I hope you don't mind me watching.." he adds with a little chuckle. "I can wrap my head around quantum physics and dimensional manipulation, but an engine block tends to stump me, even if I find them fascinating."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over, and says "Well the best way to fix that, is we can gather up some parts and teach you to build one of your own." He offers, since that was a project a year or two ago and there are still parts to be had.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit just scratches at the back of his head and nods. "I mean, I wouldn't mind giving it a try, but I don't know how good I'd be at it." He's also not going to mention the part about him being a clutz when it comes to machinery, but that'll probably become apparent later.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to the other man, and says "I am willing to teach you." He will move to tighten up what he has here, and says "Come with me. " Leading him out to a storage building that has parts from different frames, engines and all stored out in it. "Which one you like?"

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Following Sam out to the storage building, the yeen sort of looks around, studying a few of the frames before finally crouching down to get a better look at what looks like an old and rather beat up panhead engine that's been rusted to hell and back.

Aside from the engine, the frame has been picked clean with it's fuel tank removed and a somewhat damaged pair of forks... He's looking at what's probably a spare parts piece, but he DID say he didn't have much of a clue when it came to machines.

Gambit has posed:
Consider for a moment the type of car a Master Thief might drive. Something sedate right? Non descript, easily lost in a sea of cars. Maybe it's got something special under the hood but on the outside it wouldn't be anything special... right? The heavy garage doors open and an engine positively roars like a hungry wild cat as Remy drives a bright canary yellow Ferrari into the space. Even parked the thing looks like it should be getting a speeding ticket. Purple undercarriage lights sweep in a pattern displaying Ferrari's horse logo. Gambit is grinning ear to ear as he hops out of the convertible and then scowls at his passenger. "Stop bein' so dramatic, Ah wasn' goin' dat fast.." he says opening the door... and poor Jack stumbles out of the car, shaking his head and looking around for any, possibly sane, humans.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks up and over as Gambit comes roaring in, a brow raised a bit with Gambit the question might not be what kind of car would he drive but more is that the car he left in. He then looks to Kit, and says "Frame is abit bent here but if you like it, we can get one of the people with magnetic powers to straighten it out.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit gives Sam a glance and nods. "Dunno why, but I like the design." Then the door to the garage starts to open and Kit's ears perk strait up as he watches Remy drive up and just sort of, tilts his head for a moment. Then he turns his attention back to Sam and offers a little node and a wide grin. "Good idea." Then he stops and looks back down at the old beat up machine and shrugs, "I was actually thinking of getting one at some point, so I guess, learning how to work on one would probably be a good first step."

Gambit has posed:
Jack upon seeing one of his favorite people (see also: Anyone who is not Remy at the moment) Pads over to Sam and tries to put his head under the Kentucky boy's hand, regardless of what that hand might be trying to do at that point in time. Remy grins slightly, taking another moment to look over his new toy before wandering after his dog. ""Ey dare Kit. Sam. Watcha workin' on?" He asks, seemingly genuinely curious.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and was about to reach for the frame, but dogs need petting and who is he to not pet a dog "Hey Jack, whose a good boy, yes you are." He ruffles the the dogs fur giving it attention and looks over "Hey Remy, how you doing?" Then to Kit. "If ya know what work it is to fix it you will treat it better."

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit nods to Sam and chuckles a little bit, "That too." he says, then looks back to Remy and tilts his head a little. "Learning a new skill." he says with a little grin, though his ear droops to one side as he admits, "Hopefully. Like I said to Mr. Guthrie earlier. Machines fascinate me, but I honestly don't know the first thing about them."

Gambit has posed:
Jack gives a big doggie grin, sweeping his far too long tail back and forth like it was a bullwhip. The Cajun nods casually, "Best mechanical advice Ah evah 'eard Ah got from mah brot'er Henri. Yah treat a machine like yah woul' a woman. Yah treat 'er like a lady, take care of 'er needs, show 'er love an' attention, she take of yah foh a long time. Yah treat 'er bad? Yah c'n 'ave allot of fun in de short term, but she likely ta leave yah stranded when yah need 'er de most."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Pretty sound advice." He admits. "We have some part left over from the barn find Kitty found with the neighbors a few years back where was a project for most of the kids of riding age to put something together if they were interested in it." He looks to Kit, and says "We maybe able to wrangle you a shop credit out of it too."

Kit Killovarras has posed:
There's a little twitch of the Aardwolf's ears at the advice from Remy and he just sort of nods before musing, "Well, if that's the case, I'll apparently be learning two things then." with a bit of a laugh.

Then there's the mention of the possible credit for this and he just sort of perks up in that all-too-animal way he does before chiming, "Oh! That would be great."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau grins slightly, "Been known ta be able ta give a lil bit of good advice one in a while. Just not so good at takin' it mahself, non?" He asks mildly amused as he reaches down to ruffle Jack's ears and give's Sam's dog petting hand a bit of a break.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "So, how long you had the car?" He asks nodding to the car "Not sure I have seen that one before."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau grins looking back at it and then his watch, "Came off de boat about fou' hours ago. Cos' me a small fortune in bribes ta get it t'rough Customs. Ah tell yah mon ami, Goverment de biggest con game of dem all, Ah Guarantee." He grins again though and says "Pretty flashy dough non? De paint, de wheels, it's left side drive. Even de plates are custom."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles and nods a bit to the other man and says "Yea, looks like something Ah would expect Berto to drive up in." He admits to the other man. "I don't see the draw, but then for speed, I can out fly it, and prefer a truck or something you can haul people or things in."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau grins slightly, "It's not 'bout de speed, alt'ough de speed is nice." He says with a grin, "It's 'bout de flash. Dare only one car like dis in de 'ole world. Dis car is a beacon. It says Remy LeBeau is right /'ere/." He grins wickedly, almost challengingly, as if to see if the younger man can figure out the game.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and raises a brow and says "So, you park it one place, and while everyone is looking at it your somewhere else?" He asks knowing the whole distraction thing.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau grins a bit, "Exactlly. Take it ta say a party, make de rounds den slip away. Go do de job, come back, make de rounds again. When de cops come lookin' everyone dare swear Ah been dare de whole time." He grins adding "Least dat was de way 'fore Ah retired non." He tilts his head adding, "Yah know yah make a pretty good t'ief yahself if yah evah put yah mind ta it. Mean dat as a compliment mind."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to the other man, and says "Well, I did date one in the past, and have thought about picking up a few skills, like would like to learn to pick locks I think."

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit listens to the exchange between the two adults and just sort of watches, then? Out of absolutely nowhere he laughs and muses, "Oh no, that's why they had those goofy looking cars..?" with a shake of his head. Then he gives Remy a glance and tilts his head to one side as he adds, "Well, thank's for that bit of advice for the next time I'm out hunting."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a little bit, giving Kit a side eyed smirk. "Henri 'ad rules foh 'unting too. Remind me an' Ah'll share dem wit' yah some time." He says nodding ta Sam. "Stop by de boat 'ouse some time. Ah could teach yah ta pick any lock on de top t'ree floors of de mansion in 'bout an hour."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Remind me to put a chair behind the door, and the window, and any secret doors." He jokes a bit to this.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit studies Remy for a moment, then just smiles and gives a nod. "Rules for hunting, hmm?" he says, tilting his head slightly before a little grin spreads across his maw. "Sounds interesting." Then he gives a glance to Sam and quirks a brow slightly. "Remind me to put a Seal of Solomon on my door." he says with a playful grin at the thought of Sam - or any of the faculty really - knowing how to pick locks.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a little bit, "Yah be amazed how effective a chair under a door c'n be." He says with a grin. "Remember one job, an' ah probibly shouldn' be telling dis in front of de minor, but anyway dis homme 'ave like a five t'ousand dollah security door. Dis t'ing require retna scan, voice print analysis, two keys, t'ree inch t'ick tungsten reinforced bolts inta a 12 inch t'ick steel an concrete frame... De wall five feet away? Dry wall."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes his head and says "Thats sounds like the people who put in wall safes small enough to just take the whole safe with them.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
"That, really sounds like someone who would carry a gun with no ammunition, thinking that just having the gun will make them safe.." Kit says after a moment and makes a face. "A security door is the last thing you add, not the first."
