Synopsis: In between missions, Alexander talks with some interpol weirdo.
Cast of Characters: Phobos, Cammy White

Phobos has posed:
    Several hours ago.
    The down time was welcome.
The first operation went well, easier than the briefing considering there had been no military assets on base. When the infiltration was made it was primarily just a large number of researches, some support personnel, and a single squad of security who didn't put up a fight. It was the quiestest operation he had been on in a long time. A little anti-climactic, but still welcome in a way.
Which left him with down time before his flight had been scheduled to take him back to London and from there to New York. Only for him to receive a folder and a request for his time to be further stretched on loan from SHIELD. To which, after reading the folder, he agreed.
So as the SHIELD transport jet departed from the forward operating base, Alexander was left in the briefing room there under the cover of a tent. His helmet had been taken off, yet he was still in the suit with the SHIELD mobile comm unit in his hands as he operated it like a slightly larger cellphone. It took some circuitous redirecting, but he was able to get an untraceable line and called.
    "Hey."
He had smiled when she answered, though it was a brief call.
"Things went well. Going to be staying on for a bit. There's another convention I need to attend." Not quite code phrases, but enough between them that she could read it.
"From what I can tell won't take long." There's a pause then he added with a small smile. "Miss you."
And that was when the line went quiet.

Cammy White has posed:
It is a moment later when the flap to the tent opened, allowing a slight figure to step in. Not that she carries herself as the petite female she was. Her posture was perfect. Straight upright, shoulders back, chin up ever so slightly. She might as well be ten feet tall.

Cammy was dressed in her work clothes. Which involved the green leotard that she preferred. A pair of cammo BDUs loose around her legs but still that musculature seemed obvious despite the bagginess of the pants. Combat boots. Her beret on her head.

Cammy paused to make sure she wasn't interrupting then stepped into the tent fully. "Heard you were still around," she said in her British accent. "SHIELD have something else or has Interpol decided not to return you?" As though he was being held captive.

Phobos has posed:
"Hostage negotiations are still underway," Alexander says with a lazy half-smile given to her. Despite the long op and long work day he still seemed at the top of his game, no hint of slowness nor degradation, and he was as aware now as he was when they first met. Perhaps that was one of the reasons he was held in such esteem.
Yet he smiled to her a little as he placed the mobile comm unit in the pocket on his left breast, sealing it with the click of a metal button. "Your muckity mucks might have another thing for me in Uzbekistan?" He asks her with a quirk of an eyebrow, perhaps wondering if she had some insight on what the op might be and information beyond what he's given so far. "I told them I was game if it would save lives, so waiting to hear back."

Cammy White has posed:
That got a negative shake if her head. "I can't say that I've been told about that one." She pursed her lips slightly, gaze shifting upwards as she searched her memory for anything to do with Uzbekistan. "We've had a few ops there in the past but nothing currently on the books." Then she smirked a bit. "Though obviously this has changed."

She moved further into the room and crossed her arms as she focused fully on him again. "Though I have to say it must be something important. For them to open the coffers to pay for a SHIELD special operative for two details?" She lets out a low whistle as though that is a lot of money. And to be real, it was.

She tilts her head to the side. "You are still fresh as a daisy. Despite everything from today and jet lag. You must tell me your secret."

Phobos has posed:
A small smile as he tells her, "Clean living." Though it's a smile that promises there's more to the story. Just she perhaps isn't going to hear it.
At least now he seems much more human than when he was when he departed on the mission. Without the helmet he was just that guy she met on the bench in Central Park. But with it, he comes across as something other. It's likely a look they're going for with the design of the suit, but it was still a little disconcerting when seen.
"Though," He says perhaps with a hint of a grudging tone, "My body doesn't produce fatigue toxins, so I have a leg up in that way." Though not the only leg up.

Cammy White has posed:
"Thus I will be forced to give up KFC fried chicken to achieve such levels?" Cammy had returned when he said clean living. The smile that appeared on her face lighting up her expression.

She glanced over at the faceless helmet sitting aside, while he was continuing to explain. She did appreciate that he was giving her some sort of explanation. But the helmet reminded her how he was when he left and how odd it seemed. If she hadn't met the man who had been inside prior, she would've been completely creeped out. As was, she was only slightly creeped out by the inhuman exterior he presented.

"That must come in handy. I can tap into things but that is beyond my skills. I wonder if that is something I could learn though. Using chi."

Phobos has posed:
"The sacrifices we make." Alexander replies about the poor young woman having to give up her fried chicken. Though his smile is a little more wry and sidelong given, considering he's slouching a little and taking it easy for now. She glances at his helmet and his eyes follow along with her, but he doesn't speak to it... more just noticing her curiousity.
"For me..." The lack of fatigue toxins, "It's more to do with my body mending itself, restoring itself to its original form, so toxins, poisons, disease, all are handled with an accelerated rate." He nods slowly as he leans over to a nearby bottled water and takes it up, twisting off the cap and then taking a sip.
"So that's good, but I've only ever been able to get drunk like... once." His lips twist, "And I hear that's bad."

Cammy White has posed:
"I do not agree with that statement." That it's bad not to be able to get drunk. Cammy shakes her head a bit, adding to the power of her words with that movement. "I've been drunk. Once or twice. It isn't a sensation I enjoy. And only once did I ever get a hangover from it. That was enough to turn me against it fully. That was one of the worst feelings I ever experienced."

She found herself glancing to the helmet again. "May I?" She motioned to it, basically asking if she could touch or look at it. Knowing that it was SHIELD property, she doubted but she was curious about how he could see out of the damned thing. It was mirrored in such a way that angles of light allowed for one to get a glimpse something was off about it from the outside.

Phobos has posed:
"But, aren't you British?" Alexander asks as he crosses a boot over his knee and leans back in his seat. A tilt of his head is given as he looks at Cammy quizzically, "Isn't that like your national pasttime?" As he says that last his lips twist up a little, clearly amused at his own oh so cleverness.
Though when she asks to look at the mask he gives a small shrug, "I am sure there are any number of SHIELD R&D people who would take exception, but I do not." Which might be a failing and likely Widow might give him a hard time for it.
But Interpol is... supposedly their ally. So he sees no harm in it. For now at least.

Cammy White has posed:
"It is one of my many failings as a proper Brit," Cammy says with a hint of a sight as though she is so put upon. Then her lips twist up in a bit of a smirk. "In my defense, I have amnesia about my early life. So it is possible I made my people proud at some point in my past and I simply don't remember it."

She picks up the helmet. Turning it over in her hands to examine it from the various angles. Then tilting it upside down to examine the interior. Until finally she lifts it up toward her head and angles it so she can look through the visor but she doesn't actually pull it down over her head. "Better peripheral vision than expected."

Phobos has posed:
"Amnesia," That causes Alexander's eyebrows to climb as he murmurs, "In our line of work that's rarely a good thing." He tilts his head now the other way as he looks at her from another angle while she examines the helmet. A small 'hm' sound comes from him but he doesn't voice any further opinion about her past.
"It has all the way around cameras, a good heads up display, incorporates some live data feeds to give intel with various sensors and facial recognition. Really it's not advanced more a consolidating and shrinking of already realized tech. Just more convenient." That said he leans over and looks at the helmet again, making a small face.
"I had a motorcycle helmet that had similar things, but wasn't nearly as sleek."

Cammy White has posed:
"You are not the first to respond in that way. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable," Cammy said as she gave an apologetic smile his direction.

She looked at the helmet more intently as he explained. "Impressive. The suit is tactical only or does it allow for other improvements as well? I assume it monitors your vital signs and health but that's standard I believe in tactical SHIELD?" Just from when she'd worked with them.

Phobos has posed:
A nod is given as he checks his phone briefly before he pushes himself to his feet, rising smoothly. A hand extends to the helmet as he lightly taps the screen and then closes it up, holding the power button down. Then he looks back to her, "Alright, gotta get going, going to swing by the supply tent and see if there's anything I need or could use, then I'll be on my way."
Once he's got the helmet again he tucks it under his arm and then starts to walk to the tent flap, "After the next mission I plan to change so you can try the suit on. Though you are super tiny so it'll not fit too well." That said he gives a nod and then slips out the tent.

Cammy White has posed:
"Small but mighty. I have no doubt that you would be embarassed should we meet on the mats without all your...toys." Cammy smirks as she wiggles her fingers in the direction of his getup, since she was positive it would give him some sort of an advantage in a fight. Though, the likelihood of them ever meeting in a training scenario was slim to none. He'd finish this favor to Interpol and head back over to SHIELD.

"Good luck," she called as he departed, rising to her feet to head out of the tent as well but in the opposite direction.
