Synopsis: An innocent evening in Central Park reaps intrigue!
Cast of Characters: Sarah Connor, Wonder Woman, Leon Kennedy, Red Robin

Sarah Connor has posed:
Sarah had the day off for a change, and found herself at the Central Park just in time for sundown.

Dressed in her usual jeans and tee, with a tattered jean jacket, she watched the ducks on the pond. Amongst other things. But the ducks were nice. She didn't have to worry about them being terminators. That was one thing she liked about them. And dogs - for some reason they growled at the terminators. She liked them too. Not enough to get one, thought!

This time she had a coffee with her.

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake had to work in the New York offices of Wayne tech for a few days so he finds himself with some free time Sunday evening, He considers doing some rounds as Red Robin but figures he probably should be seen as Tim for a bit. He even pulled one of Bruce's old tricks and called Conner to get him to go on patrol tonight in Gotham in the Red Robin costume. Some poor villains going to get a surprise tonight. Tim still needs to keep in shape, so he is out for a jog, and since it is Central Park, he does have a back pack with some gear stored in a car parked nearby.

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana Prince has finished a day of meetings and appointments with the Embassy for the day. She was tired and unable to quiet her mind. A trip to the park was her plan. It was always good to help clear and order her thoughts.

Walking along in jeans and a tank top, her bracers but not her tiara visible.

Leon Kennedy has posed:
Ducks and dogs might not be terminators, but they were susceptible to viruses, alien symbiotes, xenomorphs, and who knows what else. They were also delicacies in some cultures. To each their own.

Sunset at Central Park was really quite beautiful. It also meant that it would be soon time for vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness to make an appearance.

Leon Kennedy thought he was becoming cynical as he got older. He had a meeting in New York, which proved to be futile. So many government meetings ended up being simply to discuss things that everyone already knew.

He was dressed up, it was a requirement, so he looked like a Man in Black, his image crafted to leave no lasting memory with anyone he encountered, though, he had at least loosened his tie and undone a button or two on the shirt collar.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Stretching a bit, checking the bottom of her cup, Sarah debated with herself.. She /could/ do her rounds of the park here. It would be different. Mind you here was usually busy, an she would still have to do her exercise regime either at one of the smaller and more secluded parks, or her home.

Here was nice though.

A quick look about.. two teens; an old man; a young man jogging; some guy in a suit (she made a note: could be trouble); Diana..

Diana??

Damn. She seemed to be around all the time! Well, as far as Sarah was concerned she /was/ around all the time. Anyone who she met more than two times was 'all the time' as far as Sarah was concerned.

She smiled a slow smile, waiting for her to come closer.

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake looks up from his jogging making sure not to run into anyone and he has been trained to be observant. So it does not take him long to spot Diana. Tim can be a bit of a suck up at times, and figures hey why not. He stops at one of the venders for a moment and then continues jogging on over towards Diana. Once he is within talking range, he will hold out his hands and each one has an ice cream one strawberry and one butter pecan "Care for a frozen treat?" He asks.

Diana Prince has posed:
It doesn't look like Diana as noticed Sarah yet. She is walking along at a leisurely pace, just taking in the beauty and serenity of the park. She does, however recognize Tim's vioce. She smiled warmly as she slowed and turned toward him. Blue eyes that had, a moment earlier seemed turbulent and even tired, quickly bright with her smile. It does not hurt that Tim is offering her icecream.

"Tim. Hello. What a pleasant surprise to see you here." She looks to the treats, nibbling her lower lip. After a moment of deliberation she asks hopefully, "May I have the strawberry?" Her expression and tone make her almost seem like a young girl asking her parents for a treat she knows she probably shouldn't have - but that she still would really like.

Leon Kennedy has posed:
Leon Kennedy was always watching. He knew Diana, having encountered her several times it seems, though the others were a mystery, and anything that was a mystery could be a threat. Why did he have to live his life expecting things to turn sour on him?

He had zero concern about the young man with the ice cream cones, as if anyone could take care of herself, it would be Princess Diana of Themyscira. He gave a slight wave in recognition, not expecting one in return.

Besides, he wasn't certain, but he thought that he had seen the woman by the ducks looking at him. He made a note of that. She might be trouble.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Well. Well. Well.

Sarah sinks back to witness Diana andTim (who she doesn't know). He doesn't like like several of the people who work for the government. But that could be a ruse - you never could tell!

Yet, icecream? And that face on Diana?

No. He could be someone, but not likely a suited one. Like the F.B.I. (Okay, she doesn't have a category for SHIELD agents yet. You would think the amount she had come into contact with them she would have. But no..!)

Still, a quick check told her that the man in the oddly shaped suit was hovering around. He looked like he knew of Diana. And everytime Sarah looked at him, he was looking away. Like really looking away. On purpose.

Damn.

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "I thought I remembered you liked it, I like both so figured would give you first choice." He offers with a smile. "So, how have you been, did the exhibit go off as planned?" He asks her mentioning their last meeting.

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana Prince smiles brightly. "Thank you Tim. Yes. Strawberries of any sort are a favorite." She reaches out to take the treat from him.

"It did, yes. We were very happy with the attention it attracted. We have decided to extend the exhibit for another two weeks in fact." She pauses long enough to take a lick of the icecream. "It is delicious. Thank you Tim."

With a tilt of her head she finally realizes enough to ask, "What has you back in Manhattan today? If you do not mind my asking."

Leon Kennedy has posed:
Leon Kennedy was a government agent, but he was no spy. He had no talent for spycraft. When he took an interest in a suspect, it was pretty obvious. Ask him to infiltrate a warehouse and blow it up on his way out? Sure. Ask him to sit at a cafe and indiscreetly listen in to the conversation at the next table, and he'd be liable to spill his drink on them, or flash his badge by accident.

The good thing was that Kennedy had zero to go on here. He knew Diana, a little, and she was chatting with a young man. He didn't know the woman by the ducks. He had no motive. No real reason to think there was a threat of any kind, so he just kept walking, testing to see what might happen as he put some distance between himself and the woman who had seemed to be watching him.

Sarah Connor has posed:
That's it. Something has to be done about the man in the suit.

Putting her coffee cup on the park bench, Sarah /strode/ to Diana's side. She was fast. She moved like something can take care of herself - especially if she were lurking in a side alley.

In short if you didn't know her, and you were of that type, you might be on alert.

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake nods a bit and says "We had some people come over from our European facilities and wanted to see some of the working besides those in Gotham. Gotham is in all the videos and such, so I get to baby sit them for a week. Thinking about putting in some more location videos into the company library.

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana Prince listens to Tim as he explains his business in the city. "That sounds like an interesting opportunity for you, then." It's Polite Ambassador Speak for 'That seems kind of boring and I'm sorry you got stuck with it'. Except she would never, ever dream of saying such a thing. That would be rude.

She looks up just as she is about to lick at her icecream again, seeing Sarah marching? Stalking? Approaching with all haste. Diana offers the woman a curious smile. "Hello Sarah. It would seem that the Park is the place to be this evening."

Leon Kennedy has posed:
The Man in the Suit, also known as Leon Scott Kennedy, had made his way further along the path, moving away from the ice cream revelry, and the ducks. But he had been pausing to side eye, doing what he can to keep up, curious if there was any reason to concerned, and especially to see if the woman would follow him.

Instead, she stormed towards Diana and Tim. He instinctively relaxed his fingers, ready to pull a concealed weapon if need be. Diana did not need help, but the young man with her might. Except, Diana smiles at the woman. He narrows his eyes, and shrugs, turning around and continuing. False alarm.

Sarah Connor has posed:
"Hi Diana." Sarah makes her greeting terse. "Not that I expect you to, but, have you any males on your pay?"

Quickly she looks around - not that she expects him to be around. Well, not visible at least. She barely notices Tim - if he was with Diana he's.. probably(?).. okay.

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake 's row raises a bit and looks between the two women a brow raised, but eats his ice cream silently for now

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana Prince offers an apologetic smiles toward Tim. Then to Sarah, "Males?" She frowns and tilts her head as if it were a strange question.

"Yes, of course. Why would we not? The Embassy does not discriminate for any reason. Qualified individuals are all welcomed. There are six men within the offices of the Ambassador. More working for grounds and maintenance."

She looks with some confusion and concern toward Sarah. "Why do you ask?" Her icecream has been forgotten for the moment. It is beginning to melt.

Leon Kennedy has posed:
Bruce Wayne must have taught Tim Drake well, for the young man smiles and nods when two badass females discuss among themselves. He'll live longer, and happier, that way.

Leon, confident that his services were not needed, continued into the park, seemingly disappearing, although that could alert Sarah all the more. Men in suits do not simply disappear, even in a park as large and expansive as Central Park.

Where is he, and what is he up to? Does anyone see a red dot on their person? And where is John?

Sarah Connor has posed:
Sarah quickly describes the man. Right down to nobody seems to pay attention to him. But he was in a suit! Fuck. How could they /not/ pay attention?? Admittedly she had used that very same thing - people not noticing things right in front of their faces.

Scanning the areas around them there were two directions that he could have gone. The one was the obvious choice; she took the other. Unless something was done to stop her.

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake was actually paying attention and probably knows which way the guy went "Umm, is there a reason your worried about this fellow, have you had some type of run in with him before?"

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana Prince listens to Sarah. She considers the desciption being given. She smiles patiently, then blinks as melting icecream finds its way to the back of her hand. A sheepish lick or three is taken. Then she licks off the back of her hand, because no napkins.

"Well, I cannot say that this man sounds familiar from your description. Other than that I may know a number of men that could fit that description." She looks toward Tim, a nod of agreement with his question as she glances back to Sarah.

Leon Kennedy has posed:
Leon Kennedy left a footprint along the more obvious path, which Sarah could have found, but she went in the other one, so the imprint of his shoe may have been lost to history, soon to be destroyed by other pedestrians, cyclists, or the elements.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Sarah takes a moment to look at Tim. Looks him up and down and speak to him. "Depends. But I need to see him further to be certain."

Terminators. F.B.I. Are just a few of her initial thoughts.

This one is smarter than he appears. Interesting. Does Diana not know anyone who is Joe Blow off of the street? Doesn't look that way. "I'm going to check him out." Statement. Not a question. Diana may find it funny that Sarah had put her under the umbrella of Sarah's watch.

And she was off.

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake looks over to ^Diana, waiting a moment before saying something so Sarah is out of earshot of his softly spoken words "Saw the guy she was talking about looked like he could have been part of the alphabet squad, I aint had anyone watching me for a while and if Jason has decided to hire me security just to drive me insane would have been a bit more obvious."

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana Prince nods to Sarah. "Well. I cannot speak to the man's intentions. But this is a public park. There is no law against people watching. I do it all the time. It is insightful" she says with a nod of agreement.

To Tim she looks curious. "Hmm. Whatever his issue, if it was regarding me, I am not worried about it." Anyone who had intentions against her will be sorely surprised at her ability to defend herself and her friends.

Sarah Connor has posed:
Sarah checked out the path she thought he'd gone on. Either he was very, very good, or she'd picked the wrong path. It happens. Occasionally.

Walking to Diane and Tim, always looking around, she shrugs. "Whoever he was.." But she doesn't finish her sentence. "Sorry for the hubbub. And it's getting late anyways."
