Dumpster Diving Gone Wrong

Synopsis:	Red Robin saves a not-so-damsel in distress from ill fated trash hunting.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Despite the fame and the money, and the fact that she works for Tim Drake - Nikki is the epitome of bargain hunting. To the point that if she can find something shiny whether it's in a scrapyard or a trash heap, she'll be as resourceful as she can in gaining what she wants. It's also a slight tragedy that she is easily distracted by shiny things as well. It's all a recipe for disaster that finds the woman in a little bit of trouble after something shiny in a dumpster down the side alley next to the movie theater...and no one is likely around to hear the thrashing, grunting, struggling sounds muffled somewhat that come from the dumpster which Nikki is currently stuck in. Legs out and kicking trying to relentlessly find footing that isn't there.

And Squishy, for all the robot is good for, cannot help. But he can roll out to the street letting out his own boops and beeps to try and find someone to gain the attention of.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake is in costume tonight and going about on patrol. When he sees feet sticking out of a dumpster he does pause a moment, those feet look familiar. He will find a perch to watch for a moment.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Squishy! Nikki needs help!" A voice finally comes from the dumpster, a bit muffled still because it's surrounded by trash. Nikki continues to flail her feet helplessly because she's not thinking stright to lose her grip on the Shiny Thing(tm) to actually push herself out of the dumpster. Maybe.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will pull out his grapple and shoots it to wrap around her foot, and use it to wench her up out of the trash making sure to wrap around an area with cloth not to hurt her.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki lets out a scream, mostly because she wouldn't have anticipated suddenly being pulled out of her predicament. "Nikki's sorry! She saw something shiny and wanted it!"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will look down at her, and says "Are you having some issues ma'am?" He asks from his spot, but does move the grapple so he can lower her tot he ground.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks and looks around, and around but never up - because why would anyone be up? "Nikki was looking for stuff to build a robot with. She saw this.." And she waves around what looks like the remnants of a popcorn machine motor. "...and so she tried to get it..." Squishy comes back then, giving a few happy beeps before circling Nikki a few times and then stops.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks to her and shakes his head a bit and says "I am up here." He offers her and says "You build robots out of parts you find in dumpsters?" He asks her a bit surprised she is still dumpster diving

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki looks up and tilts her head. "The stranger looks...interesting." She was going to say funny, but someone recently taught her better manners. Sort of. "Yes! Nikki makes robots out of most anything! Dumpsters, those big places with all the cars that are smashed up to bits. Nikki also has to buy some parts but she doesn't want to if she doesn't have to. Oh! Squishy! Nikki made Squishy!" She points proudly to the robot standing beside her. "Nikki is Nikki. Who's the man on the roof?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will hope down to more talking distance, and says "Red Robin, I am one of the people who try to help people here in Gotham."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Does Red Robin help a lot of people in Gotham? Nikki's not been in Gotham long. She usually lives in...in..." Nikki seems to go silent then. "Well, Nikki knows HOW to get home if not WHERE home is!"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake 's brow raises a bit behind the mask, but he nods a bit to this and says "It is what I do yes, been at it for a while. Gotham at night can be dangerous you should be careful Nikki." He tells her and ponders how he might keep her safe

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Nikki has Squishy! Nikki will be safe! And if she needs, she can call...uhm...Nathaniel...or Tim!" The woman nods, beaming a smile, as if ignorant of all the dangers in this city alone.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmmms and says "Well, it can be very dangerous I am not sure how much squishy would help no offence, and it is better to be careful than have to call for help.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki seems to think on this a moment. "Does Red Robin wanna escort Nikki home? Nikki doesn't live far from here." Otherwise she likely wouldn't be here to begin with. Her home being on the corner of Gotham and Somewhere.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and says "It maybe safer yes." He tells her. HE can also see if there is anyone there who might be able to help look after her.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Why does Red Robin wear a mask?" Nikki asks as they suddenly begin walking in some random direction. Well, it may seem random, but if one can trust Nikki - she knows where she's going.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over to her, and says "When your protecting people some people wish to hurt you or those you care about it is best if people do not know who you are when you help people like I do.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks but keeps looking ahead. "But Red Robin can't care about everyone in Gotham. That's a lot of people...does he have help?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "There are a few of us, but even without help when your trying to help people you help those you can, may wish to help more, but sometimes you have to be content with helping those you can."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"What happens to the ones Red Robin can't help?" Nikki's often too curious for her own good.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake says, "Well it depends on what they need help with, hopefully one of my friends help them, but if not, then they may get robbed, hurt or stuck in dumpsters."

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki continues walking, actually being quiet for a moment. "Does anyone know who Red Robin really is? Can Nikki know?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake shakes his head and says "Sorry, very few people know, and it can be dangerous for those who know. I do not want to put you in more danger." He says as he walks along with her.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Nikki's not in danger!" The woman argues while looking over at him and then, after a few steps, walks right into a pole. "Ow..." More like bumps right into it and then she looks ahead again.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "You should pay more attention where your walking as well." He offers. He looks to the robot "Can you talk?" He asks of squishy

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Squishy, at the question, lets out a series of boops and beeps. If one actually takes notice, they form patterns almost akin to morse code. "Squishy talks, but no one understands him. Nikki speaks fluent Squishy tho. He says hello."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and Red Robin does pay attention and will make note to record them to see if he can figure it out "So, what is squishy's job, companion, or other?"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
"Nikki made him to be a helper robot. To bring Nikki tools and food and such. But Squishy is clumsy so he doesn't handle food. Just tools." Nikki offers this proudly, cause she made him from spare parts and managed the contraption next to her.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and nods a bit to this and says "Have you thought about upgrading him? So he is not as clumsy?"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods. "It's not possible. Squishy is now special to Nikki as he is. So Nikki is trying to build a bet--erm--different model. Nikki's getting help from people. Like Tim. Tim said she can use things from his collection...and she works for him too which is nice." She thinks. "Does Red Robin know Tim Drake?"

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and says "I think I have heard of him, Bruce Wayne's Heir, works for Wayne corp I think. So, how is the nest model coming?

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki pauses a moment and looks around, then turns left down the next street. "Nikki needs stabalizers to put into the legs and arms so it doesn't wobble so much. And the programming is a little...weird. I can't figure out the execution command that will then open up for new commands to be fed into the mainframe so that this robot can actually accept orders." Interestingly, as she focuses on talking about robots, her voice gets more 'normal' and she almost seems to forget to refer to herself in the third person.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and says "Have you tried a " He names a bit of code that is on the high end of things to give her a possible place to go working on the code, seems Red Robin is smart.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki thinks on it a bit and then hums softly. "That...might actually work..." She stops walking and pulls out a cellphone. "Hang on let Nikki..." And she begins to tap the code he rattled off into something on her phone.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake smirks a bit and waits watching her. He does look over to Squishy trying to decide if the robot is actually Ai or not.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki finishes with her phone and puts it back into her pocket. She then smiles at Robin and begins to walk again. "Not too far to go, Nikki promises." That focused demeanor sliding back as quick as it came forward.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and will pay attention to where they are, and when he knows a food place nearby he asks "Have you eatten recently?"

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki blinks, then thinks, then blinks again. "Nikki ate when the sun was in the sky... she thinks..."

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and says "Perhaps we should stop at a place and get something to eat.

Nikki Hawkins has posed:
Nikki nods and will follow Tim's lead at this point for food and sucb before finally letting him follow her the rest of the way home.
