Date of Scene: 14 July 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Cypher, Robin (Wayne)

Cypher has posed:
After the charity benefit, there is a lone figure walking Gotham City's back streets and alleys. He has pecular, almost paramilitary dress, though armed with no weapons; a gray bodysuit with turned-down boots, gloves, a full cowl and visor, a utility bag hanging from a strap, and an armored vest; but no weapons, to speak of.

.oO(I can't believe they still had this old costume! It was easy enough to use the Mansion's equipment to adjust the fit, but it's still tight--" Cypher rolls his neck, as he continues walking. He's silently reading the signs, interpreting the flow of traffic, the graffiti scrawl on the walls. It's the language of the City, and he's interpreting it to try and draw himself toward a moving goal; signs of, and possibly the location of the Batman. Like finding a needle in a haystack... when the haystack is whispering clues to you about where to find the needle.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The youngest Wayne had a pleasant experience speaking with Georgie, and Damian could see a glint of what his father sees in this city, what the Dark Knight risked his own life to protect here.

Damian changed out of his party garb, and into the black and white uniform which he arrived to America in. He donned a hooded cape of white fabric as well, and adorned himself with his katana. He perched atop some tenement buildings and looked over, his hood had concealed his face, while allowing him to listen and watch the city. If he was going to impress his father, he would have to show he was at least capable of non lethal combat.

Cypher has posed:
Sooner or later, paths cross. Cypher's got a keen awareness all his own, but he's not trained by the League of Assassins. Still, there's that inquisitive curiosity as he's studying a splash of wall graffiti. Tags have a subtext all their own, and Cypher can read it easily enough. "I see. A warning to avoid this stretch because it's been heavily patrolled by..." He taps two fingers on his chin. "I'm on the right track. And if I'm right, eventually he'll notice, and find me, if only to warn me away--"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
With someone as conspicuous as Cypher was dressed, he stuck out to the teenager that had been on the prowl. Damian had not been sure what Cypher was up to, but the man was under surveillance for the time being.

Cypher has posed:
And eventually, Cypher winds up ascending a fire escape to the top of a building. Once there, he scans the city and sits on the edge of the rooftop, before he reaches down to his bag and takes out a... thermos. Full of soup. Which he sips, as he scans the streets below. "Well at least the walking's good for me. No sign of Batman, though..." He says, "I suppose if this doesn't work out I'll give up and try another plan."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian overheard Cypher's words, and he almost couldn't resist, especially when his father had been mentioned. A silent dash behind an air conditioning unit to conceal himself and he could start. The boy inhaled as much as he could and spoke. "What do you want?!" In a very deep, very intimidating voice, a perfect mimicry of Batman's voice.

Cypher has posed:
There is a pause, momentary. But Cypher's never actually heard Batman speak before. He hesitates, and then he drains the rest of the soup in his cup before he closes his thermos. "W-who's there?" He says, standing up. "Step out where I can see you." There's an awful lot of crazy people in this city...

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
The teen made sure to not peek out of his position. But he did retain a batarang from his earlier encounter with the Bat. The white clad boy throws the weapon in the air, the batarang landing wedged in the rooftop in front of Cypher. "You're in no position to make demands. Now what do you want?"

Cypher has posed:
Cypher looks up to the batarang, and then back to the source. He puts his hands on his hips, and says, "I'm here looking for someone." He frowns, at that Batarang, and then he reaches down to pick it up and turn it over in his fingers. "Once I've spoken to them, I plan on leaving. I have something for them. That's all."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian wasn't going to get anywhere with that level of intimidation it seemed. He raised his hood again, taking to his feet and standing up, looking straight at Cypher. "You look for the Bat." He continues to say in that deep, rough voice. "Do you not?"

Cypher has posed:
That makes Cypher pause, one hand out. "Y-yeah..." He says, "It has to do with something he's doing." How would he know? But it's obvious that whatever it is, it's something he doesn't just want to TELL Damian. "I mean, I have no idea who YOU are, half-pint, but I'm pretty sure you're not Batman!"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
A few steps forward for intimidation, and Damian was at it again. "No s&#3164! Who do you think gave me that?" The teen was already steamed but he had it under control...for now.

Cypher has posed:
Doug looks down at the batarang in his fingers, and says, "Dude, there's a market for these things all over e-bay. You could've just bought one. What's that supposed to prove?" Doug takes a step back, because he can read Damian's body language easy enough, and his body language says 'Murder'. "Look, whoever you are, I don't want trouble."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Almost as suddenly as Damian reared up, he held out his hand, dropping the mimicry. "Then give it back, and you'll just keep waiting and searching for him." He was still on the defensive, but he was calm and not so murderous.

Cypher has posed:
That makes Doug look down, and back up. He's wary, but still. "I guess it is yours." He says, before he takes it in the tips of his fingers, and moves to drop it in Damian's outstretched hand. "Sorry." he says, "I'm not looking to cause trouble--" But whatever he has for Batman, he's playing it close to his chest.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian put the batarang back in a pocket. "It's your funeral, he can't be everywhere at once." Damian took out the grapnel he was also given and the launcher shoots out a tether, latching onto a higher rooftop. "And this is the most violent part of the city, hang around long enough and he'll be somewhere around here." He looks back. "Call me half-pint again and I will break your face." He says calmly, but in a definite tone as if he wouldn't hesitate to do so.

Cypher has posed:
"...Wha--" Poor Cypher is left scratching his head, as he watches Damian get ready to grapple away. He's puzzled, more than a little bit. But still, he's resolute with his purpose. He watches Damian grapple away, and is left standing on the rooftop, "That kid," He says, under his breath, "Has got a SERIOUS case of short-man syndrome." He shakes his head to himself. "Reminds me a little bit of Bobby... I think it's the way he holds his chin. And the Mt. St. Helens temper."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian clicks the button, and is sent zooming off to the next rooftop. There was no sense in terrorizing Cypher any longer, and Damian wasn't going to get the info he wanted without resorting to using his sword.
