The Floor Is Lava

Location:	Englewood, Buchanan, Central City (Gem Cities), Missouri
Synopsis:	LAVA MAN walking through town, needs dealing with! It falls to two mostly unpowered ladies, who are totally us.

Arana has posed:
The basketball court is melting, the ground beneath it much too hot to walk upon. The ball bounces once, then sizzles and deflates, the concrete eating it alive. Or not aalive, depending on how you determine the life of a basketball. The players are trying to get away, climbing the buildings nearby. Trying to stay off of the ground.

That's just the beginning, as the lava-man walks past. He's not attacking, it's just a side effect of his being in the area. Lavos is not trying to do anything at all. But the basketball court is already the loser, as he walks toward food.

He's seen a nearby hot dog vendor, who is trying to get away. The hot dogs are going to be well-done soon though.

"I so could have brought marshmallows," the girl in spider-gear says, hanging upside-down from a line nearby. She's not sure what she's supposed to do but it does seem like a thing is happening.

Funny thing about Harley she doesn't follow logic, Cause she slowly slides down onto a cable to hang upside down with the girl " Wow, talk about hot to trot.. " She blinks " This brings the floor is lava game to a new level, don't ya think? " She says in her cheerful voice," also you really should use a sports bra.. when wearing that kinda top " . The blond girl with pink and blue pig tails has a big grin as she also hangs upside down though her string is a cable.

Arana has posed:
Spider-wannabe girl tilts her head, causing her to swivel a little toward the sound of a voice. She raises an eyebrow, which is upside down so it's totally lowering it, and then she looks Harley down-and-up. That eyebrow gets even lower, or higher depending on your point of view.

"Hello to you too," she says. "I'm wearing a sports bra, aren't I?" She pauses, then lets go with one hand to check. It makes her lose her grip, and start to fall, but she just ends up hanging right side up by one hand instead. Not even a panic.

"Yep. Girls are still in the holsters."

Harley Quinn Does a Sage nod " Good.. I've seen a lot of new heroines and villainesses make that mistake..Terrible fashion with terrible underwear is a bad mix," She looks over " So what's with the Flaming kool-aid man " She points. " I mean I wanna explode a water tower on his head, but not sure that will work "

Arana has posed:
With her feet a little too close to hot pavement, Spider-Girl hauls herself higher on the line before answering. "Yikes, that's ...yikes." She pauses, then looks over to Lavos or whatever his name is, and shrugs. "I just got here. Doesn't look like he's actually after anyone, unless you count that dog guy."

She motions to the hot dog vendor, who's currenly abandoning his cart to run away. Smart move. "Have you ever just had a craving and had to go melt a city block for a pretzel?"

Lavos pauses, turning to look around. He seems to see the hanging girls, but doesn't seem really worried. Continues on his way.

Harley Quinn Thinks for a moment she seems to be sweating a bit it is hot.. as she thinks for a moment, apparently okay with being upside down this long.. The girl is also WHITE, not pale WHITE... as she cocks her head "Actually, yes, but I used acid," She says brightly. Something tells you she was serious when she said that.

     She flips up like a gymnast flipping up before pushing a button and zipping upwards " Get people off the street Imma dump some water on him... wheeeeeee "

Arana has posed:
Anya watches how smoothly the lady moves, with some jealousy. She might even glance at the cute butt as it leaves, but she nods and kicks off of a wall. "Do what I can, querida," she says, mostly to herself. Then she retracts her line, not a spider-web like the others of her breed, and grabs the grapple a the end of it.

She casts it out, before she hits hot-potato ground, and swings off of a street light. She flips mid-air, and pulls in the grapple again. Pure skill, not spider-powers then. Landing on a power line, she runs along it for a block, and starts yelling. "HEADS UP! Incoming, everyone get off the street!"

She leaps, then rolls out a landing on concrete that has not yet been made too-hot-for-me and gets up, unhurt. Lavos, unfortunately, is coming up on her in a hurry.

Harley Quinn All you hear is a very, very evil-sounding cackle, and then you hear 1812 Overture start to play.. moments later, there his an extremely violent explosion.. followed by another somehow timed to the music! of course, the point is that the water towers along the street start to explode and jet out their gallons and gallons of water right on lavos! "wheee! "

Arana has posed:
Anya feels the ground get hot under her feet, and turns to look at the oncoming force of nature walking toward her. She blinks under her goggles, then looks around quickly. She runs, grabbing a kid tha's going a bit too slow, and then hoists him into a nearby window. Then she turns, looking at Lavos.

"Sorry, I'm sure you'd be a hot date, but I'm gonna pass."

Then the water starts to fall, and she looks around. "Yep. Just like that. Close the window behind you kid." And she runs toward a wall, running up it, and casts out her line.

Which snaps, and she starts to fall toward the hot pavement. SHit!

Harley Quinn For her part had stepped back.. she wasn't stupid. All that heat and water.. it was gonna make some crazy hot steam that would burn like hell.. But she spots the rope snap! Typical Harley, her legs flex, calling on that upgrade that the injustice world and ivy gave her.. she doesn't like to do it but she calls on it increasing her strength beyond normal and Launches herself like a missile grabbing Ana and smashing into a window.." hot hot hot hot " the hole whole rolling into the room smashing a coffee table.. with Ana on top of her.. her own hands right on Ana's butt. And a clearly injured Harley is giggling. And very inappropriatley turned on .

Arana has posed:
Anya? She ends up on one knee, even after that tackle. In the room, with the broken glass. And a hand on her butt. She looks down, then raises an eyebrow again. She's got perfect balance, but that's all she's got, so of course she managed to land on her feet. Still.

She hunches down, then lifts Harl's hand from her butt. And places it right on her chest. "You earned it," she says, with a grin. "But don't make a habit of it."

Harley Quinn Smirks Since it was offered she will give a few little squeezes and even a tweak but that' sit before she sits up " Can you pull the glas from my back " She reaches back and starts to pull it out with a grunt.. though she's already standing up as if it's not much and movng over to check via the window mostly to see if the water had any effect on our lava boy or if it just pissed him off

Arana has posed:
"Sure hold still a second," Anya says. She gets behind Harl, then starts pulling glass out of the girl. "Do you not know how to take a fall?' she asks, serioiusly wondering how the girls survived this long. She pulls out a shard the size of a pencil, and winces. "Thanks for the tackle. Gonna have to get my grapple back off of the roof though. I can't lose one of those."

Ana Corazon puts her hands onto Harl's shoulders. "So, you have powers?" she asks. It sounds almost jealous. "I don't. Just the cute butt really." She lets go, then walks to the window, showing that butt as she looks out at Mr Stone. No longer Mr Lava. "I guess we won, though it's one hell of a mess out there."

Harley Quinn Pats said butt and think, " I don't this so " she thinks, " Well, maybe I do " she shrugged " I don't think I have powers.. but most likely picked something up when i dropped into chemicals.. I know I'm immune to poison thanks to my ex-girlfriend," She says brightly " Ig ot some super stength when i went to another earth.. I can use it from time to time but it wears me out " She says simply . but she peeks and spots cops " But I think this is the part where I take off and give myself a bowl of gratz noodles "

Ana Corazon turns around, then. She pauses, then shrugs and leans in. And ...

Kisses Harley right on the lips. Not a lot, but it was a real kiss. Then she leans back, smiling, and says, "I can balance on one foot. I like a challenge, what can I say?"

THen she upnods at the clown girl, and slips into the window with one foot. "See you again? You did good today, querida."
