Faith Lehane has posed:
So yeah, it's the magic box and it's totally not Faith's hangout as she's barely even a satellite Scooby or whatever, but she had questions and maybe the magic box had answers..

Too bad no one familiar is working today.

Shes in the back, pursuing shelves of...Books, not really sure what she's looking for, and leaving the poor store clerk rather nervous as she balances a cigarette between her lips, drawing a breath every few minutes as she looks through books on demons and...Stuff.

Hey, Buffy once said she's welcome here, may as well get comfy..
Spike has posed:
Spike hadn't been in the Magic Box much of late, but he did come every once in a while, and today seemed to be a random visit. Most of the time, he was just there to pick a fight, cause frustration, knick something, or the like. He came in through the back, as was his custom. It had easier access to the sewer. When he came through the front, he would have to move across town, in public, with a blanket over his head. The back was a quick move from the tunnel access, so it was easier and more subtle. When he wandered in, he immediately turned to move to the training room, seeing if any Slayer might be back there. Plus, if it was empty, he could listen in before committing if they hadn't heard or seen him yet.
Harry Dresden has posed:
Sometimes, when things aren't going the way you want, you think outside the box. Harry has almost limitless access to arcane lore and magic assets. Still, tonight he decides to step away from his own lab and have a look at someone else's mystical trappings.

He nods at the one working the register, then goes on about what he came to look for. Of course, after a few moments of looking he discovers Faith. He considers her a moment, nodding her direction and shifting his attention to something on the shelf.
Faith Lehane has posed:
The nervous clerk barely squeaks out a greeting to Harry as he steps in, probably wondering why every customer here is a weirdo, she's only paid to do so much so she shuts up and busies herself with dusting a display shelf.

Faith notices a flash of movement from the Hahn headed forthe training room and smirks. "That you, spike?"

Oh yay, her favourite person to harrass. Then she spies Harry, grins and waves to him. "Yo, we should talk, meet me in the training room?" she found at least one good book and takes it with her as she beckons for Harry to join her in the training room.
Spike has posed:
So much for sneaking around. Spike was found, and cornered. There was a window that could be used to escape, and it was partially shaded, as it went into an alleyway, but the window was a tight fit, even for Spike, he would be vulnerable why trying to crawl through it. Best to just relax. So he did the most Spike thing he could think of. He wandered over to the table, picking a shuriken off the wall, and began cleaning his nails with the blade. He didn't call back. Instead, he waited, and when he had company, he looked up from his nails, "you two need a referee for a sparring session, Slayer versus Wizard? God, I could sell tickets to that one."
Harry Dresden has posed:
Harry scowls at something he picks up, mutters something darkly, and places it back. He glances towards Faith, curiosity stronger than his current search. He glances at Spike and rolls his eyes at the comment made. From in his pocket there is a muffled voice. Harry thumps something there that makes a hollow sound,"Nobody asked you." he growls darkly and whatever spoke before doesn't respond.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane steps into the training room, holding the door open for Harry as she peers around the room.

"If you're look in' for B she ain't here, I checked. She sure has a way of making herself scarce. And precious." she seems equal parts amused and annoyed.

"But forget her, I got something more important to talk about, an' I know you love bashing things."

She pulls out the sunglasses, "Yo Harry, you got anymore of these? Cuz we're gonna need 'em."
Spike has posed:
Spike heard the muffled voice, but didn't seem to care too much about it. Vampiric hearing was superb. But it was limited by how much the vampire in question gave a shit. Today, this one seemed somewhat disengaged. He didn't even seem to take the bait on the Buffy references. "That she does. That one goes where she wants, when she wants, and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it." He does look up when Faith said she had something to discuss, but dropped one brow at the sunglasses reference. What the devil did sunglasses have to do with anything?
Harry Dresden has posed:
Reaching into the pocket of his duster, Harry produces another pair of the mystically charged cheap sunglasses. They aren't terribly stylish, but anyone can see the shimmer of magic on them. He hands them to Faith and replies,"These aren't exactly easy to come up with so don't just hand them to someone recklessly. I have another case dividing my attention, missing person."

He puts his hand back into the other pocket and thumps something again. Hand back out again empty,"What more do you know? I ran into an intersting woman a few nights back. I might have to look into putting her to work. She might be able to help us on this. I don't know yet."
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane laughs at Spike, shaking her head, "You know you'll never win her over right? Admit it, you're just in it for the thrill of the chase!" her dark eyes sparkle with amusement before turning to focus on Harry.

The glasses are taken with a nod, "Cool guess I can give 'em to the next person who thinks I'm a nut job cuz I'm fighting invisible mole men who only seem to appear when their victim is unconscious. No wonder we never noticed 'em before.."

She tosses the book she snagged earlier on a nearby bench. "Maybe we'll find out more in there. I also met some interesting folks, shirk with demon eyes, and an alien. You?"
Spike has posed:
In some ways, Faith was a lot like Spike. In others, the comparison fell flat. But she had him. She had him dead to rights with that one. He would never get Buffy, he knew that in his unbeating heart, but was he just in it for the chase? No, that was part of it, but not all. Still, to shut her up, he rolled his eyes, "you got me. It's all about the chase." He did a good job of selling it, that it was the only reason.

Changing the subject, he looked to Harry, "so, who's yer friend?" He didn't mean Faith, and that was made clear by the tone of voice and body language in which he asked. Still though, Spike felt a bit weird. He reached up, scratching this platinum blond hair. Why was he itchy there all of a sudden?
Harry Dresden has posed:
"Friend is a stretch." Harry replies and a derisive tone escapes the pocket. He finally sighs and reaches into his pocket. He produces a human skull with red/orange glow in the eye sockets. Even though the head can't turn on its own, it almost seems like it manages to look at each of them anyway.

"I knew it. She is hot Harry. You have been keeping this elegant beauty from me." the skull comments,"I wou..." he pauses and his attention moves to Spike,"When did Billy Idol get here?" he pauses and studies Spike quietly. After an uncomfortable time he adds,"You're strange, even for a vampire." He urks a little bit,"No wait...don't...." Back into the pocket the skull goes.

"Satisfied?" Harry asks Spike. Not angry, more intersted in how the two might react to the skull. He turns his attention towards Faith again,"I met a young lady that can read mainds like a book if you get close enough, can take the form of another person, and after a time it passes. The fact she read my mind and didn't have an stroke is impressive. She might be able to find people with missing memories. I don't know yet."
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane doesn't bother with introductions, she's not a generally polite or fryer dog person and frankly could care less who knows who.

After Harry's little spiel she smirks and waves at the skill, "Yo Bob how's it shaking? At least you have better taste than your boss." she grins and winks at him before handing the second glasses over to Spike.

"You'd better take this, I already have a pair, may as well make yourself useful for once instead of just sniffing after Buffy all the time. Let's you see the unseen, specifically those invisible memory demons or whatever. But it'd be easier if we could just find their home turf next instead of tracking down one victim after another."
Spike has posed:
"Bob?" Spike said, repeating the name that Faith had used to refer to the skull. He also wondered who Harry was seeing, or admiring from afar, as the case may be. Someone that isn't as good as Faith, according to her. Accepting the glasses, Spike gave them a curious look, "and what do these do, burn vampires from the nose down?" They really weren't his style, like, at all.

He noted that they could allegedly see invisible memory demons. He wasn't familiar with them, but given the description, that made sense. Regarding Bob, he met the skull's stare. He wasn't exactly able to win a staring contest with a skull, but he was for damn sure going to try. As a distraction, he added, "actually, he stole the look from me." And at the description of being strange, even for a vampire, Spike uncharacteristically smiled, "thank you."

To Harry, at the question of being satisfied, he turned to Faith, smirking, "nope, but seeing as Buffy isn't around, perhaps you could help with that?" Oh, he was getting staked tonight, wasn't he?
Harry Dresden has posed:
Smirking, Harry nods,"I always wondered about that." in regards to Spike and Billy connection. Apparently he doesn't have too much trouble believing Spike might have been the answer to the chicken and the egg comparison,"If you're putting Spike into the game you might as well talk to the other one too. I forget his name off hand." There is an ego boost for Spike, Harry not remembering Angel's name.

"I think I will go back to Vanessa and see about recruiting her to see if she can be helpful." he comments,"I'm not sure she will, but we will see."
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane peers intently at Spike and gets right into his face, incredibly amused by his indirect flirtation. "Ohh you would be so lucky to get with me."

She reaches up to touch his cheek, dark eyes sparkling wickedly.."Mm, Spike..William the Bloody..I could ride you at a gallop until your legs buckled and your eyes rolled up. I've got muscles you've never even dreamed of. I could squeeze you until you pop like warm champagne and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more. If I felt like it."

She grins and winks wickedly at him, before playfully attempting shove him back. Buffy she ain't. And she knows exactly what she'd say.

"Mm you mean Angel don't you?" she licks her lips, "He's pretty sexy too, too bad he's also obsessed with Buffy. Isn't everyone?" she rolls her eyes.
Spike has posed:
Spike may need a minute or ten to recover from that spiel from Faith. Or a cigarette. Hell, Harry and Bob probably need a minute for having seen it. It was so much that he barely noticed the Billy connection, or the disrespect of Angel. Though he does object to the suggestion that Angel's obsessed with Buffy. "He's not obsessed with Buffy! If he were, he wouldn't be off playing private eye," for Harry's benefit, he added, "different city, and completely different client base." And back to Faith, "he'd be here, in Bludhaven, trying to make it work. He'd burn for her. Isn't that right... Bob?"
Harry Dresden has posed:
"I think I need a cigarette. That paints a picture I won't be able to clear out of my head for a while." Harry comments after Faith and Spike's exchange. Shaking his head he sighs as Spike continues to talk to and thus encourage Bob who mutters something from his pocket,"Now you know why I don't take you places." he mutters to Bob.

Despite not wanting to, it is clear Harry does agree with Spike on the point of Angel trying to be with Buffy if he were truly in love with her. There is a hint of smirk as Spike makes the leap knowing he is an investigator as well.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane laughs, shaking her head in disbelief, "Uh, I guess you're right, I mean the time he banged her pretty much ended things. That's a pretty shitty curse honestly. Too bad he didn't come to me first." she bats her eyes wickedly, before heading fir the exit, "Well it's be fun boys, keep me updated, see ya around!" and she's fine as quickly as she came.
