Date of Scene: 10 April 2023
Location: A shady alley in a shady part of town
Synopsis: Venom and Black Cat cross paths
Cast of Characters: Venom, Black Cat

Venom has posed:
Venom went to war last night, a fully-specced black ops team having attempted to retrieve him by the harbor, intending to extract the symbiote, tame it, turn it into a weapon for their own interests. Y'know, megalomaniac mad scientist crap. He has to put up with it a couple of times a year, someone deciding that they can handle the symbiote better than Eddie.

He broke them, violently, bloodily. There are parts of them in the dumpster nearby. But right now, Eddie Brock is sitting on the ground in the alley, wearing just a stained t-shirt and jeans, blood and ash smeared on his skin as he mutters to himself. "Fuck. Fuck. Tired of this shit."
//YOU AND ME BOTH EDDIE//
"Bullshit. You love it."
//BECAUSE YOU DON'T WHINE WHEN I KILL THEM//
"Yeah, well, that's their business. They shouldn't have signed up if they didn't want to get eaten by..."

And then he notices Felicia has just stepped into the alley, for whatever reason brought her here, "Oh, uh. Hi."
Black Cat has posed:
     That's not Felicia, that's Black Cat! Fur-lined catsuit, utility belt, razor-sharp claw gloves, and a domino mask that covers just enough of her face to keep her identity secret. Hey, if Clark Kent can get away with wire-frame glasses to disguise himself, then just covering the area immediately around her eyes should be good enough for her!
     She's wandering down the alley, pattin a pocket of her utility belt in a way that looks suspiciously like someone's stuffed something valuable in it. She wsa really just taking a short-cut, figuring the person talking to themselves was probably some schizo or drunk. New York's full of em. But then she notices... the large Eddie Brock, blood smeared all over him, and she purses her lips for a moment. "Uh, hi." She echoes, smiling brightly if warily (Spider-Verse folks like to 'act cool under pressure') and wondering as she skids to a sudden stop, "Eaten by what Eddie?"
Venom has posed:
Venom runs a hand back through his hair as he pushes himself up to stand, leaning back a bit against the wall. His broad shoulders and strong arms flex a bit as he shakes off the daze, "Well, us, I suppose," he says, a bit shamefacedly.

"No one who didn't deserve it. Got some bounty hunter types on me last night. Got messy. You're lookin' good, though," he grins. "How's the stealing business?" he asks. "Spider-Man still pestering you?"
Black Cat has posed:
     "Us?" Felicia looks left, and then looks right. She looks up at the roof-tops overhead. Then she leans to whisper, "Do you... do you see the symbiote now Eddie? Is Venom in the room with us?" in a tone absolutely reminiscent of someone thinking their friend has gone cuckoo for cocoa puffs. Damn, why are the Spider-Verse good guys (or morally gray guys) always so damn sarcastic? Quip delivered she gives a little bit of a shrug. "Spider-Man? Aww, he's too sweet to ever throw me in jail. I mean, except that one time, but I got out quick because they're so bad at keeping people there." She puts both hands on her hip, keeping a relatively safe distance away, but seeming in no hurry to run, "I gotta ask, if you eat so many people, how come you're not fat? Didn't Einstein have something to say about the conversation of mass?"
Venom has posed:
Venom grunts, "Yes, we've learned he isn't good at that either, thankfully. And you know w...I am not always entirely only myself. But we don't mind a little teasing. Especially from you,l" he winks.

"I don't know how sweet Spidey is. I never got quite a good enough bite to find out his flavor. But I'm laying off him for the moment. Well. A little bit. I'm not actively h unting him, but I might still smack him around if he gets in our way. He is very nosy, after all."
Black Cat has posed:
     "Aww Eddie, you're gonna make me shiver flirting like that." She purses her lips, thinking about it and say, "Well either it's the flirting or being within lunging distance of your cannibalistic self." Your comment about Peter's sweetness does make her laugh though and shake her head rueflly, "Not that kind of sweet, tall dark and homicidal." Felicia tsk-tsks, clucking her tongue against the roof of her mouth twice and then saying with a resigned sigh, "Probably for the best though, he's got an infuriating way of getting lucky at just the wrong times don't he?" A glance around the alley at the blood splatter everywhere sand she offers, "I'll say this though, you don't really leave a whole lot in need of cleaning up I guess."
Venom has posed:
"We're very efficient, yes," he says. Eddie regards the Cat warily, not out of fear but because she's a wily woman and he knows the dangers of wily women. he's also more than susceptible to them.

"Yeah, infuriating's one way to put it. I've bounced his skull off enough walls, though, guy's got nine lives. Maybe he should've been the cat," he says.

"And it's okay if you shiver around us. We kind of like it."
Black Cat has posed:
She shakes her head, cocking an eyebrow, "Don't go around trying to give my schtick away. There's too many cat-themed villains and heroes already. Catwoman, Ivory, Cheetah, Bastet. You can't throw a stick in this country without hitting at least 3 women with a cat costume theme going on." She grunts slightly, a faux bitter tone in her voice as she says, "I shoulda done something with Marmets, you never see 'Marmet Woman' running around." While you regard her warily, she starts to circle slowly, as if intending to make her way around the alleyway, "Sorry, I'm not into melange... merengue, whatever that french word is that means three's a crowd." She winks then before she says, still trying to inch her way by you in the alley, "But seriously, you need any help with, whatever this is?" She points at the various blood-stains in the alley, "You going to be good, because you look kinda tired there Eddie."
Venom has posed:
Venom shakes his head, "Nothing we can't handle. It's not like our reputation's very good anyway. Anyway, i'd rather their masters know what happens when someone comes after us."

"As for menage, I'm afraid Venom and I are something of a package deal, but we make up for it by being creative and energetic. I was a writer, once upon a time, after all. Sensitive. Passionate. All that crap," he sighs.
