Date of Scene: 16 July 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Indigo, Viridian, Star-Lord

Indigo has posed:
Indigo and Viridian never made any secret of their relationship. About the most you could say is that they were discreet about it; after all, PDAs aren't super necessary when there's a psychic connection between them. As far as that goes, it's a little unusual that they'd come to Peter while holding hands, but that's how they come today, Indigo's cotton candy lips curved in a shy smile that matches her shy tone as she asks, "Um, Peter? Can we talk to you for a minute?"

Viridian has posed:
Viridian is traveling with Indigo instead of wandering around behind her. That's actually a difference; they are usually off doing their own things even if they somehow seem to be perfectly in sync at any given moment. Today Viri is holding Indigo's hand tightly in her own, blue eyes studying Peter's face. Her hair is a deep purple at the moment. She's let it grow out a little recently and it hangs toward the middle of her back. That's some pretty quick growing. Of interest is the fact that the Roomba Brigade and Max are all nowhere to be seen. "Yeah. We kind of... Need your help with something." The Xandarian exchanges glances with the gynoid beside her.

Star-Lord has posed:
Peter Quill, aka The Legendary Star-Lord, is kicked back inn his seat at the moment. His feet are up on the table and he's got a comic book that he's read over a hundred times in his hands. He's maxing and relaxing while there's not actually trouble brewing, for once. He's also likely bopping his head around to the smooth sounds coming from the headphones of his Walkman. He's not blasting the music like he would be during action packed adventure. But he loves his music.

There's some blinking when Peter looks up from the comic book to see Viridigo standing in front of him like that. "Um." With a swift movement he's dropped the comic book, turned off the walkman and he's sitting up a bit straighter. "Say who what now? What's going on?" Peter's eyes bounce back and forth around the current Milano location to check the monitors. "... we're not under attack, are we?" If he notices the handholding he certainly doesn't say anything. Love is love is love... is love!

Indigo has posed:
Indigo has always been shy, always been the kind of person who only makes eye contact in brief spurts and mostly lets her gaze rest on a person's chin or cheek, but today she's looking at Peter steadily, even if her smile is small and bashful. "Viridian proposed, and I said yes," she explains, her voice holding too many emotions to accurately describe them all. "I wanted to tell you first, since you're my best friend on this ship, and we wanted... if you'd like the chance... to offer to have you marry us. I guess you're technically not a captain when the crew is this small, but you are our leader, and I think you deserve that. Plus, it would make me happy to have you involved."

Viridian has posed:
"Also, you're the only person crazy enough to marry us this side of Xandar," Viridian chirps, though she's grinning when she does. The girl flushes a faint pink, bringing out the slightly altered hue of her father's complexion in the glow of her cheeks. She shifts her weight from legt to right, her hair goin to a flame red to match the sudden spurt of embarrassment as she starts to giggle. "Pleaaaaase?" Viri asks, fluttering her eyelashes briefly. They offer no hint as to an actual hair colour as they shift with the hair on her head and her brows. ...Is that vermilion now? Quite the range of colours. Viri is like a rainbow. "Don't worry," the girl adds. "No attacks until after the wedding or I'll shut off all their engines and use them like billiards balls!"

Star-Lord has posed:
Peter blinks a few more times now that he's sure that there's nothing bad happening. He just looks at the two members of his crew for a long moment. He almost looks like he's thinking about something else but finally a big grin explodes onto his face and he's practically leaping out of his chair.

"What are you kidding?! Of course, I'll marry you! This is gonna' be so awesome. Oh man, we have so much to do." Peter's forgotten about his comic book in favor of something much more glorious. "Okay, we need to find a venue. We need cake. Definitely need cake. Flowers? Eh, we got Groot. Close enough." Peter leaps at Viridigo and throws and arm around both of them for epic group hug motions that probably shouldn't even be happening. "I haven't married anyone in like, er, well I've never married anyone. BUT! I have seen the Love Boat. So I think I can do this."

Indigo has posed:
Predictive models suggested a group hug was coming, so Indigo had already begun the process of disentangling her hand from Viridians as Peter was jumping out of his seat. She hugs her lover and her friend close, smiling, her unusually smooth but warm skin brushing the back of each Guardian's neck as she takes her part in the circle of affection. "I hadn't even thought to ask Groot for flowers," she says, honestly. "Thank you for that idea, Peter."
Viridian will doubtless pick up on the genuine admiration in Indigo's thoughts as she says that. Indigo's beyond brilliant, but Peter's imagination and creativity have hers beat by a long stretch.

Viridian has posed:
Viridian disappears into the hug, being tinier than the other two by a wide margin. She helpfully disengages the frame she uses first and allows herself to be half picked up by Indigo in order to fit. That thing is bulky, awkward, and not very fun to hug even if the gynoid does so anyway. Viri's breathless laughter is filling the room and hr blue eyes are wide as she happily embraces her fiancee and... Captain? tightly from her position of honour in the middle of the group hug. "Groot will love providing flowers for all of us. Perfect! Okay! We need to get started then...!"

Star-Lord has posed:
Peter is probably the dumbest person on the ship but that's okay. He's used to it. He gets by on his roguish good looks and cool jacket. "Tree? Flowers? Same diff, right?" That's Peter's explanation of his thought process for trying to figure out what's the best way to handle all of this. "Do we want to use the ship? Are you guys inviting other people? We could probably use Knowhere. Or find the cutest planet ever? Man, I don't even know where to start..." Peter's rambling like he's the one getting married or something. But love is good and he's all about helping people celebrate their love.

Indigo has posed:
Indigo never minded hugging Viridian in her frame. Her girl gets hugs, and exoskeletons are not factors in that one absolute rule. As the group hug reaches its logical conclusion, or at least the point where continuing it would be awkward, Indigo steps back, one steadying arm around Viridian's waist, and the other hand trailing down Peter's arm to find his hand and squeeze it. She's still smiling, and why not? It's a good day!
"I honestly don't know yet where. If it was just up to me, the Milano would be fine. The Guardians are my family." Spoken plainly; just another fact to deliver. "But I'm going to have to meet Viri's parents soon, and they might have ideas about how much their family they want involved. It's a discussion we'll have later. Thank you so much for having it with us, Peter. You're a very good person."
