Date of Scene: 18 April 2023
Location: Garage - Xavier's School
Synopsis: Scott and Logan agree to disagree coming to a mutual understanding.
Cast of Characters: Cyclops, Wolverine

Cyclops has posed:
The day has drawn on and Scott had finished one meeting today already. Dressed in a blue form fitted t-shirt, blue jeans and black biker boots his helmet and black leather jacket with blue accents rest on a nearby tool box. Scott is currently working on his vintage Harley his ruby Quartz shades reflecting his work. "Alright, a little more, she's looking more and more the way she would have just off the showroom floor. The Engine sounds beautiful she roars like a Lion." Scott says to himself with a chuckle hands covered in grease.
Wolverine has posed:
Logan is busy just working on his Indian bike. Tightning the next lugnut, the rachet makes a "Rrrt! "Rrrt! "Rrrt!" noise as he works on it. ocean blue eyes focused on the small bit against the chrome.

Dressed in the bomber jacket, the medium blue jeans and a button up flannel shirt. He has his communicator on, but it's resting against the seat of the bike. He's not disturbing it. The man's just focused on the task at hand. Anyone could come up to him if they know where he's at.

Logan stands up and he looks at Scott's Harley. The Canadian scoffs a little bit, "Eh. Not bad," and he gets back to working on his bike. It's a 741, same they used during the War. He did put a bit love into it. Same could be said about coin.
Cyclops has posed:
Scott Summers shakes his head looking to Logan. "Ah Logan, been meaning to chat with you about something I heard." He says fitting the air filter back on. "I hear you lectured Jean about Lucifer and the deal. Though I appreciate your concern, I ask that you refrain from such actions, she's already heard it all from me. If you recall I was against the idea in it's entirety you advised she help, the deal was on the table, she made it. Since you advised her to help them against my wishes do you really have the right to lecture her?" Scott asks his tone calm but inquisitive.
Wolverine has posed:
"About what?" Logan says as he resumes work on his motorcycle. Then he stops and stands up, "I didn't want a contract. I think that was the actual Devil n' fer all the lawyer jokes 'bout Hell. . .She shouldn't have signed it." He looks at Scott plainly.

"I got as much right as anyone else to lecture someone about a bad decision. Ya can't smell em' like I can, 'Slim. Lucifer smelled like he was walkin' n' talkin' sulfer."

Logan breathes out, "N' Sinister wasn't actin' strange. He's the unknown factor. When people lie, get stressed, anythin' like that, sends off their senses. Sinister never acted like that durin' our talk," he looks at Scott for a moment. "We know Sinister is a heartless bastard, but what they were talkin' bout. Monster we don't know. Cause what we know -was- Sinister with a conscious. Now he ain't got one. Didn't then," Logan lays out the pieces on the table.

"Figured gettin'a boon like that without the risk was the best, but she signed the contract. Guy get's clled the 'King of Lies' in the book that introduces him. Hold him to anythin' written, probably bound to have loopholes -against- the signee," he continues to look at Scott.

"I'd lecture anyone fer signin' that. Even Chuck. She should be the best of us n' that was far from safe," his ocean blue eyes level on Scott.
Cyclops has posed:
Scott Summers shakes his head back and forth. "The devil, I don't buy into that myth garbage. He's probably just some other super powered mutant, mutate or meta." He shrugs. "Again no boon worth having comes from an enemy, and I know better than most the lengths Sinister is willing to go to. I don't believe the garbage they spewed, we have no idea whether we imprisoned the better or worse side of him. But I'm sorry Logan, when you advise someone to do something and they do it like their methods or not it's hypocritical to then turn around and lecture them for following your advice." Scott states as he turns the ratchet a few times. "Besides its my job to lecture my girl, and the members of the team for being foolish. It's your job to lecture your girl for it, but it was I who said the whole thing was a bad idea and Jean has agreed to never ever call upon that contract."
Wolverine has posed:
"Scott. Every person has a smell. A mixture of everything. Things they do. Things they're around. It makes each person unique. Lucifter was sulfer. -Just- Sulfer. Like I was puttin' my face right next to it. That's never happened before. Only one person came close to it. Maybe two. But nothing -exactly- like this," Logan says trying to put it in plain english for the mutant.

"And I never said fer her to sign. Jean said she signed. Difference between a boon n' a contract wit' the Devil. -That's- the part I was lecturin' against. N' this is beyond whatever Alpha Male crap ya wanna put out there. I don't care whose woman it was. Signin' wit' the devil was stupid, period," Logan says putting that out there. It's not a matter of dating partners.

"Like I said, I'd tell Chuck the same thing n' we all respect him," Logan adds looking back to Scott.
Cyclops has posed:
Scott Summers shakes his head. "And I agree on most of what you're saying. Though I still don't believe he's the devil. Again the contract signed was part of the deal to use Cerebro which I said allowing was a bad idea, you were all for helping them. So regardless of if you like the methods or not, it is hypocritical to lecture after she followed your advice is all I'm saying." He shrugs. "This isn't a matter of Alpha Male Logan, it's a matter of respect that's all. I'm not angry, just explaining the facts as I see them."
Wolverine has posed:
"I never said 'sign a contract.' Was -always- against that part. Period," Logan says pointing that out. It's the detail they'll argue over. Scott sees the overall matter, Logan sees a finer point that makes a world of difference to him.

"Then why bring up girlfriends? I can talk to a teammate about a bad call. Jean's supposed to be the best of us n' that was a bad call in my book. Better than both of us," Logan says as he does put faith in Jean. Any personal matters aside, Logan does respect Jean as a member, leader of the X-Men. He does see her as an heir-apparent to Chuck.
Cyclops has posed:
Scott Summers laughs and looks up. "As I said the respect thing Logan." He says wiping his hands on a rag. "Telling a team mate you think it's a bad call and leaving it at that is one thing. Lecturing is another, I'm team leader Logan, leave that kind of actual lecturing to me will you please. As for her being the best of us, on that I whole heartedly agree with you, you're damn right she's the best of us and better than you and I combined."
Wolverine has posed:
"Agreed," Logan says to Scott about Jean. However, he does expect this to be the first time of a few moments Scott and Logan will meet like this. Logan can be outspoken and opinionated. They both probably know this. Leaning back down, "Gonna take Jean some place fun fer the honeymoon?" he asks and resumes work. "She could use a vacation Slim. You could, too," and the racheting "Rrrrt!" noise resumes. "-Actual- vacations," he will add. Logan and Scott may butt heads, but Logan isn't without sympathy or empathy for the overworked.
Cyclops has posed:
Scott Summers nods his head a bit here. "Yea we were talking about taking a vacation, to some tropical island paradise." He says with a nod of his head. "Fun in the sun relaxing on the beach, that sort of thing.,"
Wolverine has posed:
"Turn off yer communicators," Logan says knowing that they need to get their head -out- of the game. It'll help them get their heads back in the game. Every person on the team needs a moment to just be thmselves. Helps sharpen the senses. It keeps them from getting dull or rusty. "Just do right by her n' ya won't have half the team on yer ass," Logan believes he is. However, someone has to make the sibling-esq line.
